Chipotle Mexican Grill in Frankfurt am Main

STAY AWAY, FREAKING OUT!!! I paid €11.90 for a steak wrap. All I got was disgusting rice and beans. There were five pieces of meat, about 1 cm long, two of which were completely inedible (see photos, sorry🤮).

The food tastes good and the portion sizes are more than generous. It's not a typical restaurant with pre-set dishes, but rather a place where you can create your own meal. Perfect for those who like that.

First and last time. Hektik beim Bestellen Had a Steak Bowl, Steak cold and tough

The quality/price ratio is non-existent. Not bad, it’s ok. 16€ for a burrito is outrageous. The prices are absurd. There are millions of better options for half the price.

An hour later, two minutes after the stated delivery time, I received a text message canceling my order. This is definitely the last time I'll order from this store. No compensation, not even a phone call. Truly a complete disgrace. I can't recommend this to anyone.

We hadn't been there in a while, but we had fond memories of the food. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed: the meat in the chicken burrito was completely dried out, too salty, and overall, the rest of the food tasted a bit bland and stale. It's also outrageous that the guacamole (for me, the most important and best part of a burrito) costs over €4 extra.

Pure food poisoning. Poorly prepared food, I threw up 30 minutes after eating it, plus stomach pains and cramps. Stay away from that store! The whole night was hell for me!

Overpriced and tastes really bad, I'm better off making it at home. And more than €4 for a spoonful of guacamole????? Impossible.

Then I came all the way from Berlin to Frankfurt to try the original Chipotle burritos, which were absolutely overpriced and half the size of the ones in Berlin. If you want to eat real burritos, go to the Berlin Burrito Company.

Very tasty, almost as good as in the USA.

Good food. Has become expensive though...

Prices have gone up while the burrito is smaller with less filling. It still is very tasty and the place is run very efficiently by friendly people.

Ordered delivery. Salad had added dressing for $3.50 charge. Dressing not received. No silverware included in order. No one is answering the phone to address complaint.

Not bad for fast food. Certainly healthier than McDonald's and the like.

Very good and authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. Located in the Skyline Plaza at the Europaallee entrance. There's seating both inside and outside. The owners and staff are exceptionally friendly. Children are very welcome, and their food choices are lovingly catered to. I love coming here again and again.

The quality is just as amazing—perfectly seasoned ingredients and that same hand-crafted vibe. This spot has made my day, proving Chipotle’s magic crosses continents. Highly recommend!

I had to go there with my child because of all the internet hype. Ordered a burrito; you can leave out individual components or add on. It was delicious, but a bit overpriced at over eleven euros. (compared to a kebab for 8-9 euros, for example, or a pizza for the same price).

I didn't have to wait long when I ordered my burrito. The clerk was friendly, and I got my food quickly. The burrito was delicious, but the Fritz Coke was a bit warm. However, I think over €15 for a burrito and a Coke is too much.

The measure spoon for serving is smaller than other locations with the same price. The presentation of quesadilla is totally different without rice and beans size.

I originally knew Chipotle from a trip to America and was curious to see how it would fare here – and I wasn't disappointed! The quality of the food was absolutely fine, exactly as I'd come to expect. The taste was even top-notch – just as delicious and authentic as in the US. The ambiance wasn't exactly amazing, but since it's a fast-food restaurant, that's completely fine and not a big deal. After all, you come mainly for the food – and it was convincing. All in all, a solid place for anyone craving American/Mexican fast food with a familiar flavor!

The store is truly a joke. For the prices they charge, you get an incredibly economical portion. I ordered a bowl and was truly shocked: The employee literally put a single spoonful of rice in the bowl – right in the middle, leaving the outside completely empty. I immediately confronted him and asked him to please add a little more rice. Same thing happened with the meat – just a tiny dollop. I was already annoyed, but this time I didn't say anything. Then my niece wanted guacamole with it – for almost €4.50! And what came? A tiny dollop of guac. I really opened my mouth and said that for almost five euros, I should expect a little more. And as if that weren't enough, the absolute highlight came at the checkout: The small bowl cost a whopping €15.45. I gave the cashier €20, but he only gave me €2 back?! Of course, I asked, and he looked at me, completely confused. Only after I gave him an angry, confused look did he say, "Oh, I see, sorry" – and then he still only gave me €2 instead of €4.55. After asking again, I finally got the remaining change.

Unfortunately, they don't make the quality and quantity of meat in their burritos. It's not comparable to the quality in their US branches.

DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!! Ngl this was beyond disappointing. I was craving it so badly bc i hoped it was like in the us. They really charged me 12€ for this small portion. Thats a shameless amount for the price. Literally rice 1 spoon, protein 1 spoon, corn 1 tea spoon, salad was out. Didn’t even tell from the beginning… i don’t know if they do small portions or need better staffs. Highly recommend to train staff better and do solid portions. Wouldn’t come back. It’s not worth it!

Absolutely nothing special, unfortunately. I thought the Americans would have more to offer, but I was disappointed. 15€ for a bowl that wasn't filling, to boot :( I expected more.

You can't breathe in this place. There's so much smoke in the air that the food doesn't taste good anymore! Not recommended.

The taste was okay. In my opinion, the burrito had too much cilantro. The price is way too high for the amount, in my opinion. The cashier looked very surprised when I asked for the receipt and asked several times why I needed it.

It's delicious, you can eat it. It makes you feel like you're eating something healthy. The service was also very nice, but the store wasn't very clean.

Chipotle experience in Frankfurt. Loved it

One of the workers didn’t know the difference between some of the ingredients and the cashier forgot my drink. My friend’s wrap was extremely soggy and ended up not eating it because they put a huge amount of corn juice in it. It was dripping wet. Overall a disappointing experience. Food was very mediocre. Nuce concept but it wasn’t a smooth experience. Chipotle is overhyped.

Delicious, number one burrito in Frankfurt

It's a real shame: The nachos were way too salty and had no crunch at all—more like soft and rubbery. The guacamole? It was almost just strings, probably completely overripe avocados, and it didn't really taste good either. On top of that, my tray was dirty. For the price, I really expected better.

We were looking for a fast food place with burritos and this did the trick. Food was fresh and flavorful. Thank you.

Just right for the lunch break. A little tip on the side: it's best to come as early as 11:30 a.m. otherwise the waiting time is quite long.

Roll the rice in a flatbread, roll the staple food in a roll, then stuff it with meat and salad, and pair it with a small drink. It’s a good place to rest when you’re tired of shopping.

I've never paid so much for Mexican food and eaten so little real Mexican food! Guacamole 4€ extra! I buy 4 avocados for 4€! Service desert Germany! NEVER AGAIN

Seriously dont go. The portions have shrunk even further. Not worth 12€. The portions were ok on opening now they are 1/2 the amount as before and they barely give you any protein.

It tastes like chipotle, but it tastes the same as before. To me, who went a long way to visit while thinking about the mountains of sheep in America. I think this amount will remain as a very sad memory.

I went there about 30 minutes before closing time, so brown rice, guakimoli beef, etc. were sold outㅠㅠ I went there thinking it was in the US, but the original is much tastier..! It tasted a little saltier, so I recommend getting the kebab instead.

I've been going here for years, but now 1/3 of the ingredients are no longer available 1 hour before closing time. Therefore not recommended for the price!

I didn’t get their names but the staff working today evening (26/03 at around 18:30/19h) were amazing!! They were super friendly and helped me decide my order since it was my first time and the bowl was absolutely delicious! Thank you

It's fast food a la cart. It all depends or what time of day you go.

I ate once at Chipotle before (in Canary Wharf in London). It was mediocre but seeing that my first choice in the area was closed before 15:00 and that the only open outlet at Skyline Plaza on a Sunday afternoon was Pizza Hut (no thanks!) I decided to eat here. The music in the venue is very loud and makes eating there very unpleasant. You also have to yell your order to the staff else they won't hear you. The veggie variety amounts to a few thin slices of green pepper fried in a lot of oil and it costs exactly the same as the choice of chicken or beef. The only explanation I can come up with is that the quality of the meat is very low (unless they have a grudge against vegetarians). My burrito was very salty (almost to the level of it being inedible). In fact I was up since 7 am and didn't have breakfast today. This was the first thing I ate and I was very hungry which explains why I even ate such a salty burrito. In the toilet there was no soap left (I had to add water to the soap container so to be able to wash my hands) at 15:00. Staff tries to sell you extras, ie. I was asked of I wanted "chips". I asked if they were fresh potatoes cut by hand (of course no such thing exists in American fast food chains) which is when the lady said she means corn tacos and that they cost extra... I don't want tacos because I try to avoid GMO corn and I will not eat at Chipotle again.

Charging €38 for substandard food is really cheeky. I also thought it was a burrito menu. A small spoonful of guacamole costs €4.35... Thanks for the experience, never again.

Not the chipotle experience like in the states but it was nice sense of home feeling!! Portions were much smaller and the chips weren’t as good.

I ordered a double chicken bowl with guacamole, which is almost 20 EUR. The portion size was beyond disappointing. They added so little of all the ingredients, barely followed up on the double chicken. You naturally would expect more rice, salad, beans, etc. Everything was super small, and I almost paid 20 EUR. Food tasted good, but never again.

Staff kind, very nice people, but the food is terrible. If you are used to eating in the USA, please 🙏🏽 don't lose your money there. The food has different condiments, and the taste is terrible, maybe too much curry and too spicy, no flavor at all.

I really enjoyed it. The staff are also friendly. The extra guacamole was more expensive than I thought (about 4.5 euros for a small cup?), but it was delicious. It goes well with apple juice.

As an US-American living abroad visiting Chipotle in Frankfurt is always a must whenever I’m in the city. The food was exactly what I was craving, and as I ordered a vegetarian bowl, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that guac was included for free—such a nice touch! That said, the team although informative seemed a bit stressed and disorganized during my visit. They worked hard to keep things moving, but it was clear they were under pressure. I appreciated their effort and encourage other customers to bring a little patience and understanding—it goes a long way. As for the mall itself, it’s definitely seen better days. Half of it was shut down with entire entrances closed off, and the common areas, including the stairways and restrooms, were messy and unkempt. It’s a stark contrast to what I remember from previous visits and detracted a bit from the overall experience. Despite the mall’s state, I’ll definitely be back to Chipotle next time I’m in Frankfurt. The food and taste of home make it worth it!

The food wasn't worth the price. Unfortunately, not everything we wanted to order was available.

The portions were very small for the value for money, the salad on the bowl was old and wilted and very little. The meat was cold, wobbly and fatty. The rice was completely drowned in lime juice, so that the rice only tasted of lime juice and a bit of coriander. And the burrito was very small and didn't have enough cheese in it.

So great to have Chipotle in EU and it tastes just as good, if not better than in the US

I’m a chipotle recurrent customer and not only in Germany but US, Dubai etc, and I have to say that first of all the staff is not very friendly here in Germany. Secondly, the portions of the protein are not even close to the other branches around the world (you feel robbed with the amount they serve). I’m definitely not coming back to the ones in Germany.

I told the guy I wanted extra rice and he looked at me and said. In Europe we have smaller sizes. I’m from Portugal. They didn’t give me half my food I wanted. There is another chipotle about 15 minutes away. Go to that one. Much better.

The steak was really chewy. Absolutely overpriced (we paid almost 60€ for 2 people). Would not recommend.

In just 20 seconds you can have a really tasty and fresh-looking burrito/taco etc. Honestly, it would be cool if you were in DE more often.

I was here with some colleagues after visiting a trade fair. The food was very good. I took tacos so I could try different versions. The service was a bit hectic, so I didn't feel well advised. It was so crowded that we initially sat with our backs to each other.
