Unfortunately you can't order online here if you want your food quickly. The first time, okay. Now with the second order, we thought, yes, it was definitely an exception. Think. We've been waiting for over an hour now and the time in the app keeps increasing. Previously it was 5 minutes, now it's back to 13 minutes. 7 minutes, then again 15. We are now at 1.5 hours after ordering, it now says 8 minutes. YAY! Let's wait and it's 12 minutes again. He's on his way... 1 hour and 37 minutes. But the food was delicious. Sorry, but that doesn't work at all!

Ordered a delivery via Lieferando at 21:10. They said delivery would take 90 minutes. Waited, and then the order was cancelled by the restaurant after 80 minutes. Its now 22:30 and most places are closed. Unacceptable, disgraceful approach to customers.

Tacos Birria has a different price on the menu and I paid more. I didn't order the salsa sauces, I thought they were reserved with the dish, but that wasn't the case. This restaurant is simply amazing! From the moment you enter, you can feel the wonderful ambiance – warm, inviting, and full of charm. The atmosphere immediately put us in a vacation mood, and the super friendly service only enhanced this feeling. From the very first moment, we felt completely at home! And then the food… simply incredible! After the first bite, I was blown away – the flavors, the freshness, the perfectly balanced spices. I couldn't get enough and never wanted to stop eating! All in all: An absolute must for anyone who loves Mexican cuisine. Perfect food, a wonderful ambiance, and a team that is truly passionate about their work. We will definitely be back!

You had to wait 45 minutes for the food, which wasn't great because it wasn't anything big. The cocktails were very tasty. The atmosphere itself is very nice 😍 the waiters forget to pass on information to each other. Had to wait 15 minutes for the bill to arrive even though we told the waitress, when we reminded her repeatedly the bill came.

Based on the many good reviews and the external impression, our visit was quite disappointing. The positive first: The food is mostly delicious and there is a lot to choose from, including vegan options. The decor is really original. But: The portions are too small and the prices for the food are excessive. The starter is served with the main course. Some of the food was only lukewarm and cold by the time you ate the starter. The salsa verde tastes like nothing. The staff is sometimes quite listless. When paying cashless, a tip of 10, 15 or 20% is "expected", a no-go in my opinion. All in all no more than 2 stars, I wouldn't come back.

An einem Samstag Abend für 9 Personen ab 18.00 Uhr einen Tisch reserviert. Leider gibt es nur feste Reservierungsslots, so dass wir dann gegen kurz vor halb neun auch deutlichst aufgefordert wurden zu gehen, weil andere Gäste erwartet wurden. Nun gut, das weiß man ja schon bei der Reservierung, aber wenn man dann doch quasi „rauskomplementiert“ wird, fühlt es sich irgendwie nicht so schön an. Das Essen hat allen gut geschmeckt, auch mit den Getränken waren wir zufrieden. Ich war aber scheinbar für diesen Abend als der auserkoren, der keine Wünsche erfüllt bekommt. Die Getränke wurden aufgenommen und ich bestellte das alkoholfreie Pils, so wie es in der Karte steht. Ach, das tut uns leid, wir führen nur alkoholfreies Weizen. Meine Frage, warum das dann nicht so in der Karte steht, wurde weggelächelt. Naja, kann passieren dachte ich. Dann kam es irgendwann zur Essensbestellung und ich hatte mich nach reiflicher Überlegung für Lamm entschieden. Die Enttäuschung folgte sofort. Lamm wäre leider für diesen Abend aus. Meine Frage, warum das dann nicht vor der Speisenauswahl den Gästen mitgeteilt wird, wurde erneut weggelächelt. Tja, irgendwie wollte es nicht so rund laufen. Gesessen hat man auch irgendwie nicht wirklich gemütlich. Und beim Bezahlen gab es dann diese unangenehme Trinkgeldvorgabe auf dem Bezahlgerät, die einem bei einer Gesamtrechnung > 300 € auch mal schnell entgleisen kann, sollte man zu voreilig die falsche Taste drücken. Ich finde dieses Vorgehen, auch wenn es das jetzt immer öfter gibt, eher stimmungssenkend und mich animiert es nicht zu üppigen Trinkgeldgaben. Fazit: Essen ok, Getränke gut, Service bemüht, der Rest ist bekannt. Wiederholungsgefahr für mich eher gering. Da gehe ich doch lieber wieder zum Mexikaner in Bad Homburg. Aber das sollte dort niemanden stören, es sah so aus als ob der Laden ganz ordentlich läuft.

Wir waren nun zum zweiten Mal im El Pacifico. Das erste Mal kam ein falsches Essen, die Reaktion des Service war aber suboptimal. Aber wir haben gedacht, wir geben dem Ganzen noch mal eine Chance. Wir saßen - trotz Reservierung für drei Personen - zu dritt in eine Ecke gequetscht und ziemlich unbequem (unsere Knie stießen ständig aneinander, man konnte sich kaum bewegen, der Po tat uns irgendwann mal weh). Das Essen war ok, es war aber nicht der totale Hit. Der Service war sehr sehr nett und aufmerksam. Leider gibt es wenige Mexikaner in Frankfurt. Eigentlich schade...

We came to El Pacifico on national margarita day and ordered a pitcher of margarita and some dinner. The pitcher wasn’t on the menu, we didn’t ask for the price because how much could a pitcher cost. Big mistake, it ended up being €80! I’ve never paid that much for a pitcher, and the worst part was they told us they use 1800 tequila (a €25 bottle). We made friends with the locals at the table next to us and they told us that the waiter warned them that it is cheaper to buy the margaritas individually. He didn’t say a word to us. The owner was there and offered us an additional 2 margaritas on the house and he was kind about the situation but still it wasn’t the best experience. Food was good and margaritas were tasty, but not for €80.

Food is good but the service is really bad! The waitress gets the orders wrong, avoids any eye contact and does not want to take any orders! Food takes too long! We had a starter for 2 and 3 main courses and sat for 2 hours! Asking for the bill is also not possible! Drinks also came after the food! It’s a shame because the food is good!

I had coffee with my girlfriend. My girlfriend was allowed to grab a candy from the bowl without knowing it. The operations manager started yelling and being rude. He said that the sweets are only for children, and as a joke, I said, I am a child too. He didn't hear me and just kept arguing with me. He wanted to call the police because I took sweets out of the bowl. He called me outside and all the time provoked me to fight with him, and I didn't let myself be provoked. I was very calm, he threatened to ban me from the house. Such behavior is not at all unprofessional from a manager. I would like to be fired very much, he said out loud to all the guests, he is the operations manager, he has something to say here and if he says you have to tell him everything, just ask.

Based on a recommendation, I went for coffee with my friend on site. The bartender offered me a candy from the vase full of candy to go with my coffee. Whenever I was about to take one out, I would be shouted at by the manager (strong, long gray beard, with a cap) - which I thought I would take without asking and that it was just for the children. Then me and my friend said as a joke - we are children too. He got loud and angry and started humiliating us in front of all the guests. That we are impudent and will ban us from the house. When we asked who he was that he was banning us from the house because of something like that, he said he was the operations manager and would immediately call the police and said to my friend several times - let's go out and sort this out! So he provoked a fight. As a manager, I find it impossible to be so cheeky and loud towards a woman and towards guests in general. I'm very disappointed with the local.

Unfortunately very disappointing. We had reserved, but there was no table. They didn't want to give us two empty tables for two (also reserved) - we were only allowed to sit down after complaining - after waiting 10 minutes at the entrance. Digital menu is confusing, starts with drinks – a matter of taste. The cocktail was good, my beer was poured with pure foam. The food? Shocking. For €17 I got tacos with pulled pork, which seemed more like an appetizer - tiny portion and lackluster in taste, takos "presented" in a paper bag. A total of €53 for two small dishes, a beer & a cocktail - absolutely disproportionate. No recommendation!

Ich hab noch nie eine schlechte Rezension hinterlassen, aber bei dem Service muss ich es machen. Ich hatte mit zwei KellnerInnen und Hostess Kontakt alle waren so unglaublich schlecht gelaunt. Der Kellner hat versucht das wir teurere Gerichte bestellen und am ende behauptet das man nicht mit Karte bezahlen kann, obwohl der Tisch neben uns mit Karte bezahlt hat. Erst nachmehrfachem diskutieren durften wir mit Karte zahlen. Das Restaurant war sehr laut man konnte sich nur schwer mit anderen unterhalten und das essen das hier gelobt wird war gemacklos und langweilig nicht wie man die mexikanische Küche kennt und dazu super überteuert für die kleine Portion die man am ende bekommt.

I've never left a bad review, but with this service I have to. I had contact with two waiters and hostess and they were all in such an incredibly bad mood. The waiter tried to get us to order more expensive dishes and in the end claimed that you couldn't pay with a card, even though the table next to us had paid with a card. Only after several discussions were we allowed to pay by card. The restaurant was very loud, it was difficult to talk to others and the food that was praised here was tasteless and boring, not like you would expect from Mexican cuisine, and super overpriced for the small portion you get at the end.

I recently visited El Pacifico in Frankfurt and was overall satisfied, but there were some aspects that bothered me. The food was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. However, the volume in the restaurant was very high, making it difficult to have a conversation. While the music was appealing, it could be distracting for guests who prefer a quieter atmosphere. Overall it was a good visit.

Visitamos el restaurante después de aproximadamente 5 - 6 años de nuevo. Parece que hay un nuevo propietario con el efecto de que el restaurante no se desarrolló en una buena dirección: La comida ya no es tan “auténtica” (al lado de los nachos y la masa de tortilla). Incluso no tienen sangrita, el aperitivo tradicional mexicano junto con un trago de tequila. La salsa roja era algo rojo, es decir, con una extraña mezcla de varias especias que en realidad saben más india (pero no buena india ☝️). La salsa verde era verde, pero no podía probar los tomates verdes y los jalapeños, sin especias. Realmente me pregunto qué pusieron. En total una completa decepción para alguien que tuvo la oportunidad de comer comida mexicana real. Sin embargo, es difícil encontrar un buen restaurante mexicano en la región de Frankfurt en términos generales. Por último, pero no menos importante: El interior antiguo también está ligeramente cambiado. Ahora están usando lámparas de energía no atenuada que crean un ambiente de una vieja estación de espera de los años setenta con estas famosas “lámparas de neón”... 😵‍💫.

We visited the restaurant after approximately 5-6 years again. It looks like there is a new owner with the effect that the restaurant developed not in a good direction: The food is not so “authentic” anymore (beside the nachos and the tortilla dough). They even don’t have sangrita - THE traditional Mexican aperitif together with a tequila shot. Salsa roja was something red-ish with a strange mixture of several spices which actually taste more Indian (but not good Indian ☝️). Salsa verde was green but I couldn’t taste green tomatoes and jalapeños - no spice. I am really wondering what they put in. In total a complete disappointment for someone who had the chance to ate real Mexican food. However it is difficult to find a good Mexican restaurant in the Frankfurt region generally speaking. Last but not least: The old interior is also slightly changed. They are using not dimmed energy lamps now which create an atmosphere of an old station waiting room from the seventies with these famous “neon glow lamps”…😵‍💫.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, a bit tight though, but I really loved the colorful walls. The food was ok, I was expecting a bit more, for example the taco toppings, but the taste was good. If I ever need a Sombrero I know where to buy one 😁

All in all, a really nice evening with authentic style and cuisine.

first of all attitude of owner or manager who has big tattoo on arms was really really rude. he forced us to order drinks for everyone even though just one of us didnt order drink. he shouldnt have done that cause we also ordered food. it really made us pissed off. taco was not bad but meat was dry, lack of tenderness and moisture. portion was small for its price. chidoba is definitely better choice if u want mexican foods. the best option is just dont go there.

Went here as two couples for dinner based on a voucher. You probably can't redeem it at the weekend, but then you could, but only one of the two. A voucher had already been redeemed but could not be used that evening. So we have to come here again. That really bothered us because the restaurant obviously wanted us to only be able to redeem one voucher. The prices here are really steep and the food is quite tasty, but not huge portions or incredible gourmet dishes. There are actually hardly any main courses here for less than 16 euros. The American tipping system is also used here, which I'm not a fan of. Cocktails could be quite good, but unfortunately we didn't try them during our visit. This will probably happen the next time we have to redeem our remaining voucher.

The food was quite good but quite expensive. The service was rather unfriendly. Vouchers can probably only be redeemed during the week, but this is not written anywhere. In addition, you can only redeem one voucher per table, which was not explained to us in a particularly friendly manner. I wouldn't necessarily go there again.

The four of us spontaneously went there, booking online was super quick and uncomplicated. The food was excellent and there was a lot of fresh stuff! Service was warm, courteous and quick. Food and drinks came very quickly despite being busy. Changes and repeat orders were also handled in a professional, friendly manner. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. Mini disappointment: It was very cold in the women's toilets and we sat at the window, which was a bit cool (but there were blankets to keep warm, which was great!) :)

El Pacifico offers simple Mexican cuisine in a very stylish and authentic atmosphere. The food ranges from tacos to burritos and quesadillas to bowls. The food is prepared fresh and quickly. The staff was attentive and very friendly. The food tastes very good. The selection for children and vegetarians/vegans is also fine.

Excellent ambience with an authentic selection of Mexican dishes. There are also local beers and other typical drink specialties. My favorite was the Sinaloa tacos with shrimp. But all other dishes were also very tasty. The churros and espresso rounded everything off perfectly. Payment by card is possible without any problems. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience at El Pacifico. We wanted to spend our Christmas party here with 13 people and asked in advance whether we could order several dishes for the center of the table so that everyone could try everything. Instead of responding to our request, we were treated quite rudely and dismissively by the bosses themselves. Apparently it was not possible to give advice and we were only supposed to make a reservation if everyone ordered their own main course. This not only seemed arrogant and unprofessional, but also spoiled the overall impression in advance. We still went because there was no other option for 13 people two days before the celebration. Unfortunately, our reservation was not stored correctly, so we were initially assigned a table for only 8 people. After some back and forth we were finally implemented. The organization was chaotic. The service staff really made an effort, especially the waitress (temp) was very friendly. Of all the evenings, a consultation was suddenly possible, but it was too late because we ended up ordering the main courses individually as requested - which ironically resulted in less sales for the restaurant. The food was average, the cocktails unfortunately bad. The wine was okay and the beer selection was good, but the volume in the restaurant was so loud that conversation was almost impossible. A thank you to the dedicated service staff - unfortunately the evening was overshadowed by the unprofessional and arrogant attitude of the management. We're definitely not coming back.

Vibración mexicana completa con sombreros mexicanos tradicionales, música mexicana y comida mexicana. Si usted está buscando buena comida mexicana y una buena noche con amigos o familiares, entonces este es su lugar. Tienen un montón de opciones de bebidas alcohólicas y no alcohólicas. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht und sehr verärgert über den Service und die Behandlung der Gäste. Wir mussten den Kellner holen, um zu bestellen, was wir noch trinken wollten. In Deutschland ist es logisch, dass man getrennt oder zusammen bezahlt. Wir waren zu viert beim Essen. Mein Partner hat gesagt, dass er die Rechnung zusammen bezahlt. An unserem Tisch saßen noch andere Personen, die auch getrunken und gegessen haben. Der Kellner brachte mein Partner die Rechnung von uns aber auch von den anderenPersonen, die an unserem Tisch getrunken und gegessen hatten. Ich fand die Rechnung übertrieben, 251 Euro für 3 Hauptgerichte und einige Getränke. Als ich den Kellner nach der Beleg fragte, stellte ich fest, dass es Speisen und Getränke gab, die wir nicht konsumiert hatten. Als ich ihn darauf ansprach, antwortete der Kellner dummerweise, mein Partner habe ihm gesagt, er will die Rechnung "zusammen" bezahlt. Nach einer Diskussion kam es zu keiner Einigung. Die Chefin wollte die Situation bereinigen, aber da war sie schon außer Kontrolle geraten. Der Kellner war das Schlimmste, kein Service und uns dazu falsch berechnet. Wir kommen nie wieder.

The El Pacifico is a real pearl in Frankfurt! As soon as you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a wonderful and authentic ambience that immediately gives you a feeling of vacation. The furnishings, music and atmosphere are lovingly designed down to the last detail - you just feel comfortable. The staff deserves a special mention: super friendly, attentive and warm. From the greeting to the farewell, you as a guest feel well looked after. What is particularly positive is that the employees take the time to explain the dishes and make recommendations, which makes the selection very pleasant. The food itself is a highlight! All dishes were not only delicious, but also clearly made with fresh ingredients. We were particularly impressed by the authentic Mexican flavors. There are also great cocktails that are perfectly mixed and offer an additional moment of enjoyment. The crowd is mixed and pleasant, which further enriches the experience. Whether for a relaxed evening with friends, a romantic dinner or a celebration - El Pacifico is the perfect place for it. I can only warmly recommend the restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit! 🎉

Eines der schlechtesten Preis- Leistung-Verhältnisse die ich jemals erlebt habe. Man zahlt 17€ für einen mickrigen Burrito der nicht sättigt. 17€ für drei mickrige Tacos die so groß sind wie ein Babyhandschuh. Meine Limo bestand zu 95% aus Eisstückchen… 2 Schlücke Limo und der Rest ist eis. Wirklich ein sehr sehr Schlechter Laden. Ich frage mich wie so etwas Kunden haben kann.

Extremely mediocre. We went last week at 7 p.m. and were initially quite impressed by the beautifully colorful location. The map looked really cool too. I was particularly impressed by one offer of the month - the birria tacos. When I ordered, however, I was told that they had already run out - at 7 p.m., even though the store was just filling up? Really? Well, then just choose something else. We ordered guacamole (typical guacamole, it was good) and salsa de molcajete (very tasty!) as starters. Plus two types of tacos, one with chicken and one with soy chorizo. The tacos in both versions were the definition of mediocre - not excitingly seasoned, and the portion was also quite small. The waiting time for this was particularly irritating - it was about 40 minutes until the main course came. We wanted to end the whole meal with churros and immediately regretted it - they didn't do justice to our memories from trips abroad either. Conclusion: Thank you, never again :-)

Very good food in a nice place in Frankfurt!

Leak as always. :) the fajita are really yummy and a good portion. To start we had the mixed appetizer platter - the nachos with cheese sauce are amazing - after that we basically rolled out. Our service mouse was really great! Cocktails only came after the starter, but the service was great and there was extra water and a shot at the end. The margaritas are also very tasty. The only point deducted is the price - we don't think the veggie fajitas cost exactly the same as the chicken ones at over 23 euros, and the starter platter was also a bit too expensive. Deduction in the ambience only for the unbelievable heat and noise in the store. Not for a date night but great for a fun evening with friends! And a huge drawback: the electronic menu. It's really really bad, processed. For a resto in this price range you should really go for it again. Super confusing - but otherwise always worth a visit! :)

It has impressed us again and again for years with its consistent quality - the food is simply fantastic and always consistently delicious. The spices, the flavors, the presentation of the dishes - you can tell that there is a lot of passion and attention to detail at play here. The drinks are also excellent. Whether it's the fresh margaritas or the homemade lemonades - every order is a treat in itself. The cocktails in particular go perfectly with the Mexican specialties and round off the experience. The staff are always extremely friendly and manage to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere every time. You just feel comfortable and welcome. For us, every visit here is a little highlight that we always look forward to. It's not just a restaurant, but a special experience that is always worth it. For anyone who appreciates authentic Mexican cuisine and an all-round great ambience, this El Pacifico is definitely a must.

It's been a long time since we've been to El Pacifico and based on some of the reviews here we were a little panicked that it wouldn't be that good. Well, all I can say is that the entire evening was an absolute success. From our service (thank you very much Iryna!) to the starters and drinks to the main courses, everything was really great! We had the recommended appetizer platter, Strawberry Margaritas, the Taco Salad, Tacos con Pollo and - in my opinion the best part - the Fajitas. A pleasure. The whole thing is then rounded off with churros and espresso. As an old Frankfurter who hasn't been there for a long time, I can only warmly recommend El Pacifico. Apparently they took the criticism to heart and acted accordingly. The food was delicious and arrived quickly despite the “handcraft” and a full shop on Friday evening. This is how I imagine going to a restaurant. Point. Out of. 😊

The service was definitely tried. Mexican flair? Not at all. The quality of the food? 30% of Worth the price. Ordered fajitas de pollo, maybe I have a “spoiled” comparison, I have been to Mexico several times. It came: three small bowls, 1 x simple sour cream, 1 x guaca and 1 x some kind of salsa, a heaped teaspoon of grated cheese and iceberg lettuce. A dream. There was enough for three small fajitas. I would say there were about 150g of chicken strips marinated in oil. Oh yes with peppers. And onions. For the price? Thanks, but that's enough. I have no idea why the store was so busy. We were on Everyone at the table agrees. Do it yourself or save a lot of money. For that price I would have preferred a US entrecôte and fifteen Coors light. Anyhow, it was worth a try.

I had a bad experience, we went for a birthday and even though I asked if the dish was spicy, the waitress said no, it had chili and I'm allergic and not only in tacos with chicken but the sauce was spicy, and Even though they changed the dish for one without spices, a waiter accidentally passed behind me and burned my back with one of the small pots where they serve the tapas. And just quickly that I show him the burning of the apology and no longer happen. I'm surprised at the lack of customer service, when they burn a customer the least they can do is a courtesy of the house that day or another day, a voucher or free food, but no. I walked away with the burn mark and paid for everything as usual. I won't come back for such poor service. Can I sue the restaurant and they do nothing to stop this?

An authentic, beautiful shop. If you have more than an hour to wait for the starter, you'll get your money's worth here. Even with a lot of time, completely unreasonable waiting times. The tortured looks from the other guests also speak volumes.

See delicious food, but make sure you make a reservation as it gets very loud...

There are better Mexican restaurants by far. Our service lady was nice, but we had the feeling that she had "sold" us on the expensive food/drinks. The payment situation with the EC device was very strange, where with a separate bill for 6 people it was pointed out to each person that they should please choose at least 10% in the tip display... they felt pressured to do so and the wish The individual tip entry in the EC device was copied over by the service person and the 10% was pointed out again. The food was okay but overpriced, I've had better things for less money. In general, the shop is getting old and the table was already "glued" (probably from the previous owner) when we sat down. Conclusion: It was a nice evening, but next time we'll go somewhere else.

A good Mexican restaurant in downtown Frankfurt. The food was good and the service was also very helpful. The portions were okay and the prices were reasonable for the amount you received. I recommend it if you like Mexican cuisine.

We were there for a party. The service was great even when the restaurant was slammed. Cocktails are really good. Food is good too.

The place is great and the service is outstanding. I had recently organised a party for my wife's birthday with 15 people and the waiter took great care of our every need. The friendly service, great food and great vibe definitely will bring us back again.

The restaurant is definitely overrated. Our food was very dry. For the starter we didn't get the sauces that were on the menu. The burrito for the main course was dry, mostly rice & beans. The cheese inside wasn't melted properly. And the burrito dough still felt raw. The staff was ok, but if you pay by card they pay very close attention to how much you tip. It's actually a disgrace for the fact that they aren't particularly friendly. We went somewhere else for dessert. Price performance is absolutely not justified. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

We ate there in a larger group and overall our stay there was very good. The food was delicious and the atmosphere and customers were very pleasant. There were a few small problems with certain orders, but it wasn't a major problem

Super delicious food! Had the shrimp tacos, and they definitely satisfied my craving. Very colorful restaurant, decorated with sombreros and Frida Khalo. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Actually: for me 'the' Mexican in Frankfurt! The lively, colorful Latin American atmosphere is great for eating and drinking. Up front we had three guacamole for ourselves with 2 salsas and nachos and maxi allitas (6 chicken wings with very spicy tomato sauce, ranch dressing and vegetable sticks), very tasty and fresh, accompanied by 3 different margeritas: classic, mallow and mango, hard to decide which was the best... Then there were tacos pulled pork cochinita pibil , Fajita de Pollo and Quesadilla con Pollo, all a real treat! We were actually full, but a portion of churros accompanied by strawberry, coconut and mango margerita was supposed to be the finishing touch...should have been! But since there was still time and the evening was young: Frozen strawberry, classic and mango margerita! Buen provecho!

Good experience, food was very tasty. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. He did accommodate to our request to change a drinks recipe to our liking. We tried most of the food in the menu. We will go back again for that good experience.

Our drinks were delicious. The food quite good. Unfortunately the service was sometimes disinterested. They walked past us several times without clearing the table. It was a bit difficult to eat the desert on the full table after the fajitas.

I’m hesitant to post how much I enjoyed this place only because I don’t want to compete for reservations. But truth be told if you’re in Frankfurt and you’re craving Mexican food this is the place to go. The staff is friendly & the delicious food reminds you of sitting on a beach in Mexico. 🇲🇽

I’m giving this 2 stars because it’s a “Mexican” restaurant in Frankfurt Germany. Otherwise it would have been a solid 1 star. I ordered a “Michelada” to quench my thirst, instead I received a beer in a slender glass with a single tear drop of tomato juice and half a bottle of tapatio (hot sauce). There was enough salt in this drink to season the rest of my food. The tortilla chips taste like someone is back there licking all the seasoning off Doritos and then baking them with a dash of salt. The quesadilla looked promising, but unfortunately not to my surprise was bland. I was going to get a burrito, but after being informed that “burritos are 80% rice” I got a quinoa bowl instead because “they can’t mess up a bowl right?” Boy was I wrong. The chipotle overpowered all other flavors. The cherry tomatoes did nothing for the dish and the bay leaves left in the dish were unpleasant. I ordered a soft drink and typically the waiter brings a can so that the customer can pour the drink but that wasn’t the case here which was odd. The space itself was cringe. It felt like whoever made the design decisions went shopping at the Mexico City airport and quickly grabbed discounted stereotypical Mexican souvenirs to decorate every little corner of the interior. Service was ok. The waitress was kind but looked like she could use some help. All that being said, I’m fully aware I am currently IN Germany. However, that shouldn’t be an excuse to give people food that not only is over priced, but under or over seasoned. If you’re going to do something, do it right. Otherwise, don’t do it. This is my honest review, as a Mexican, with a culinary and architectural background. Respectfully, please, do better not only for my culture, but for your customers. Gracias.
