The El Pacifico is a real pearl in Frankfurt! As soon as you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a wonderful and authentic ambience that immediately gives you a feeling of vacation. The furnishings, music and atmosphere are lovingly designed down to the last detail - you just feel comfortable. The staff deserves a special mention: super friendly, attentive and warm. From the greeting to the farewell, you as a guest feel well looked after. What is particularly positive is that the employees take the time to explain the dishes and make recommendations, which makes the selection very pleasant. The food itself is a highlight! All dishes were not only delicious, but also clearly made with fresh ingredients. We were particularly impressed by the authentic Mexican flavors. There are also great cocktails that are perfectly mixed and offer an additional moment of enjoyment. The crowd is mixed and pleasant, which further enriches the experience. Whether for a relaxed evening with friends, a romantic dinner or a celebration - El Pacifico is the perfect place for it. I can only warmly recommend the restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit! 🎉

Really good mexican restaurant a with great atmosphere

Delicious food, portions could be larger. Restaurant otherwise very nicely decorated, but very loud.

Extremely mediocre. We went last week at 7 p.m. and were initially quite impressed by the beautifully colorful location. The map looked really cool too. I was particularly impressed by one offer of the month - the birria tacos. When I ordered, however, I was told that they had already run out - at 7 p.m., even though the store was just filling up? Really? Well, then just choose something else. We ordered guacamole (typical guacamole, it was good) and salsa de molcajete (very tasty!) as starters. Plus two types of tacos, one with chicken and one with soy chorizo. The tacos in both versions were the definition of mediocre - not excitingly seasoned, and the portion was also quite small. The waiting time for this was particularly irritating - it was about 40 minutes until the main course came. We wanted to end the whole meal with churros and immediately regretted it - they didn't do justice to our memories from trips abroad either. Conclusion: Thank you, never again :-)

Very good food in a nice place in Frankfurt!

Leak as always. :) the fajita are really yummy and a good portion. To start we had the mixed appetizer platter - the nachos with cheese sauce are amazing - after that we basically rolled out. Our service mouse was really great! Cocktails only came after the starter, but the service was great and there was extra water and a shot at the end. The margaritas are also very tasty. The only point deducted is the price - we don't think the veggie fajitas cost exactly the same as the chicken ones at over 23 euros, and the starter platter was also a bit too expensive. Deduction in the ambience only for the unbelievable heat and noise in the store. Not for a date night but great for a fun evening with friends! And a huge drawback: the electronic menu. It's really really bad, processed. For a resto in this price range you should really go for it again. Super confusing - but otherwise always worth a visit! :)

When it comes to authentic Mexican food in Frankfurt, this El Pacifico is without question my absolute favorite! It has impressed us again and again for years with its consistent quality - the food is simply fantastic and always consistently delicious. The spices, the flavors, the presentation of the dishes - you can tell that there is a lot of passion and attention to detail at play here. The drinks are also excellent. Whether it's the fresh margaritas or the homemade lemonades - every order is a treat in itself. The cocktails in particular go perfectly with the Mexican specialties and round off the experience. The staff are always extremely friendly and manage to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere every time. You just feel comfortable and welcome. For us, every visit here is a little highlight that we always look forward to. It's not just a restaurant, but a special experience that is always worth it. For anyone who appreciates authentic Mexican cuisine and an all-round great ambience, this El Pacifico is definitely a must.

It's been a long time since we've been to El Pacifico and based on some of the reviews here we were a little panicked that it wouldn't be that good. Well, all I can say is that the entire evening was an absolute success. From our service (thank you very much Iryna!) to the starters and drinks to the main courses, everything was really great! We had the recommended appetizer platter, Strawberry Margaritas, the Taco Salad, Tacos con Pollo and - in my opinion the best part - the Fajitas. A pleasure. The whole thing is then rounded off with churros and espresso. As an old Frankfurter who hasn't been there for a long time, I can only warmly recommend El Pacifico. Apparently they took the criticism to heart and acted accordingly. The food was delicious and arrived quickly despite the “handcraft” and a full shop on Friday evening. This is how I imagine going to a restaurant. Point. Out of. 😊

The service was definitely tried. Mexican flair? Not at all. The quality of the food? 30% of Worth the price. Ordered fajitas de pollo, maybe I have a “spoiled” comparison, I have been to Mexico several times. It came: three small bowls, 1 x simple sour cream, 1 x guaca and 1 x some kind of salsa, a heaped teaspoon of grated cheese and iceberg lettuce. A dream. There was enough for three small fajitas. I would say there were about 150g of chicken strips marinated in oil. Oh yes with peppers. And onions. For the price? Thanks, but that's enough. I have no idea why the store was so busy. We were on Everyone at the table agrees. Do it yourself or save a lot of money. For that price I would have preferred a US entrecôte and fifteen Coors light. Anyhow, it was worth a try.

I had a bad experience, we went for a birthday and even though I asked if the dish was spicy, the waitress said no, it had chili and I'm allergic and not only in tacos with chicken but the sauce was spicy, and Even though they changed the dish for one without spices, a waiter accidentally passed behind me and burned my back with one of the small pots where they serve the tapas. And just quickly that I show him the burning of the apology and no longer happen. I'm surprised at the lack of customer service, when they burn a customer the least they can do is a courtesy of the house that day or another day, a voucher or free food, but no. I walked away with the burn mark and paid for everything as usual. I won't come back for such poor service. Can I sue the restaurant and they do nothing to stop this?

An authentic, beautiful shop. If you have more than an hour to wait for the starter, you'll get your money's worth here. Even with a lot of time, completely unreasonable waiting times. The tortured looks from the other guests also speak volumes.

See delicious food, but make sure you make a reservation as it gets very loud...

A good Mexican restaurant in downtown Frankfurt. The food was good and the service was also very helpful. The portions were okay and the prices were reasonable for the amount you received. I recommend it if you like Mexican cuisine.

There are better Mexican restaurants by far. Our service lady was nice, but we had the feeling that she had "sold" us on the expensive food/drinks. The payment situation with the EC device was very strange, where with a separate bill for 6 people it was pointed out to each person that they should please choose at least 10% in the tip display... they felt pressured to do so and the wish The individual tip entry in the EC device was copied over by the service person and the 10% was pointed out again. The food was okay but overpriced, I've had better things for less money. In general, the shop is getting old and the table was already "glued" (probably from the previous owner) when we sat down. Conclusion: It was a nice evening, but next time we'll go somewhere else.

We were there for a party. The service was great even when the restaurant was slammed. Cocktails are really good. Food is good too.

The place is great and the service is outstanding. I had recently organised a party for my wife's birthday with 15 people and the waiter took great care of our every need. The friendly service, great food and great vibe definitely will bring us back again.

The restaurant is definitely overrated. Our food was very dry. For the starter we didn't get the sauces that were on the menu. The burrito for the main course was dry, mostly rice & beans. The cheese inside wasn't melted properly. And the burrito dough still felt raw. The staff was ok, but if you pay by card they pay very close attention to how much you tip. It's actually a disgrace for the fact that they aren't particularly friendly. We went somewhere else for dessert. Price performance is absolutely not justified. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Actually: for me 'the' Mexican in Frankfurt! The lively, colorful Latin American atmosphere is great for eating and drinking. Up front we had three guacamole for ourselves with 2 salsas and nachos and maxi allitas (6 chicken wings with very spicy tomato sauce, ranch dressing and vegetable sticks), very tasty and fresh, accompanied by 3 different margeritas: classic, mallow and mango, hard to decide which was the best... Then there were tacos pulled pork cochinita pibil , Fajita de Pollo and Quesadilla con Pollo, all a real treat! We were actually full, but a portion of churros accompanied by strawberry, coconut and mango margerita was supposed to be the finishing touch...should have been! But since there was still time and the evening was young: Frozen strawberry, classic and mango margerita! Buen provecho!

Good experience, food was very tasty. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. He did accommodate to our request to change a drinks recipe to our liking. We tried most of the food in the menu. We will go back again for that good experience.

Our drinks were delicious. The food quite good. Unfortunately the service was sometimes disinterested. They walked past us several times without clearing the table. It was a bit difficult to eat the desert on the full table after the fajitas.

I’m hesitant to post how much I enjoyed this place only because I don’t want to compete for reservations. But truth be told if you’re in Frankfurt and you’re craving Mexican food this is the place to go. The staff is friendly & the delicious food reminds you of sitting on a beach in Mexico. 🇲🇽

I’m giving this 2 stars because it’s a “Mexican” restaurant in Frankfurt Germany. Otherwise it would have been a solid 1 star. I ordered a “Michelada” to quench my thirst, instead I received a beer in a slender glass with a single tear drop of tomato juice and half a bottle of tapatio (hot sauce). There was enough salt in this drink to season the rest of my food. The tortilla chips taste like someone is back there licking all the seasoning off Doritos and then baking them with a dash of salt. The quesadilla looked promising, but unfortunately not to my surprise was bland. I was going to get a burrito, but after being informed that “burritos are 80% rice” I got a quinoa bowl instead because “they can’t mess up a bowl right?” Boy was I wrong. The chipotle overpowered all other flavors. The cherry tomatoes did nothing for the dish and the bay leaves left in the dish were unpleasant. I ordered a soft drink and typically the waiter brings a can so that the customer can pour the drink but that wasn’t the case here which was odd. The space itself was cringe. It felt like whoever made the design decisions went shopping at the Mexico City airport and quickly grabbed discounted stereotypical Mexican souvenirs to decorate every little corner of the interior. Service was ok. The waitress was kind but looked like she could use some help. All that being said, I’m fully aware I am currently IN Germany. However, that shouldn’t be an excuse to give people food that not only is over priced, but under or over seasoned. If you’re going to do something, do it right. Otherwise, don’t do it. This is my honest review, as a Mexican, with a culinary and architectural background. Respectfully, please, do better not only for my culture, but for your customers. Gracias.

After we were looking for a restaurant late yesterday and it was close to closing time everywhere, we called and quickly got a table and a menu. Even though we were one of the last to order, we weren't stressed when ordering or eating. The food was authentically delicious and the portions were generous. We had the tacos cochinita, fajita de gambas and flautas, of which we took some with us. Great ambience, food and service. You're happy to give 5 stars for that :)

Drinks were delicious. The food - OK. When we walked in, no one greeted us, even though 2 people were at the bar and saw us. There was nothing going on in the store yet). We stood there and waited until someone finally paid attention to us. But the conditions at the table were friendly and helpful.

Guys, you can't serve tortillas like that! Tortillas are the heart of Mexican cuisine. Dry, cracked tortillas are impossible to make a good taco.

When our food came I was very disappointed. The burritos were only covered with a 5cm long tortilla and weren't even rolled up. The dishes had little taste and were extremely dry. Super dear employees!!! I don't think you can complain about anything. We visited on a summer evening and it was very hot so we didn't feel like eating anything heavy and decided on nachos. We initially wanted to order 2 portions for two people and there was still something left over! The employee warned us that the portions were large and recommended that we only order one first.

Unfortunately, my visit to El Pacifico Restaurant was a huge disappointment. The fajitas were not at all authentic and had little sophistication. You could literally tell that the Flaver had been saved here. The drinks also left a lot to be desired. Both the frozen margarita and the classic margarita were miserable - far too watery without ice + 30 minute wait an absolute disaster. Overall the food and drinks were anything but what you would expect from a good Spaniard. Unfortunately not recommended.

Tex-Mex, not Mexican but ingredients very fresh as always. And best of all, there is a corn tortilla. So not the wheat stuff from the supermarket.

Super nice easy going place at the Berger Straße! Love the food they serve even if it sometimes takes a while. Make sure to reserve some seats as this will almost always be fully booked! Other than this it is nice to sit on their outside terrace as it gets pretty loud inside...

Overall everything was great 👍 except for the one guy with a white hat who was very unfriendly and ruined the mood! Churros look like yesterday 🤮

Insgesamt finde ich das Restaurant mittelmäßig. Die Speisen sind okay, die Portionsgrößen auch. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Man muss aber schon sehr gerne mexikanisch essen, um dieses Restaurant öfter zu besuchen.

The food was really oily and kind of expensive for what you get

I don't know why the store is rated so well. The food is semi-tasty. Enchiladas looked like they were filled with overcooked goulash, oversalted, coriander in almost every dish 😕 and or cinnamon. The toilets were not decently clean, toilet paper and towels were all left out. But the drinks were delicious and the service was nice. I do not come anymore. There are better ones.

Really very tasty Mexican food. I really enjoyed the Michelada (beer with Tabasco). Service was also great, but be careful: it's best to reserve a table, it's often really full.

Good food at normal prices. Unfortunately, the staff was once again completely overwhelmed. Although we arrived without a reservation, there were still seats available and we were told to wait at the bar and have a drink. After about 20 minutes the waitress came and said she hadn't forgotten us, but we still couldn't order anything to drink. Keine Ahnung ob es nur auf das laute, ungemütliche Ambiente zurückzuführen ist, dass der Laden immer voll ist. Am Essen kann es meiner Meinung nach nicht liegen! Heute hatte ich mit Käse überbackene TortillaChips zum mitnehmen bestellt. Zuhause angekommen ist von Käse weit und breit keine Spur. Nur irgend eine Pampe in der die Chips aufgeweicht waren. Wollte weder Bohnen noch ne Pampe obendrauf, sondern NUR Käse…leider nicht geschafft und somit durchgefallen!

The worst experience I ever had. When we arrived, we were completely ignored. When someone finally came, the waiter was rude and took an additional 10 minutes to take our order. He greeted us in German, but when we responded in English, he told us we were in Germany and needed to speak German. He then left and continued to ignore us, so we decided to leave.

Great Mexican cuisine. I have to say the tacos were superb (chicken & pork), definitely up there as some of the best I’ve had in the states. The staff were pleasant and attentive.

The bad points: It took about 10 minutes before we were even served at the table (despite having a reservation). A wonderful short vacation in the middle of the city ❤️

Nestled in the heart of Nordend cuisine, EL Pacifico is a vibrant gem offering a delightful variety of Mexican dishes as well as tasteful cocktails complementing their colorful and cozy ambiance. If you find yourself on the wild side of piquant, make sure to try out their spicy chicken wings (good to share). The service staff is friendly and open to help you find your taste match. Make sure to bring your phone as the menu is available via QR-code. I would also recommend to make a reservation ahead as the place is usually fully booked. During the warmer months you can also use their lovely outdoor area to enjoy a classic margherita al fresco.

It used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately, the last time was an absolute disaster. The nachos, which were actually supposed to be gratinated, came from the kitchen cold and not gratinated. After the complaint, we were told the chef didn't have time and whether we could cancel the starter. The lemon that I asked for several times was also not brought. The food was lukewarm and tasteless. For me that was it. A pity

Our last visit to El Pacifico in Frankfurt last Sunday was an absolute pleasure! As soon as we entered the restaurant we immediately felt welcome. The atmosphere was welcoming and authentic, with a touch of Mexican flair that completed the whole experience perfectly. We chose the TACOS PASTOR ORIGINAL and the BURRITO CARNE DE RES - both excellent choices! The Tacos Pastor were simply delicious. The juicy, perfectly seasoned meat was accompanied by fresh, crunchy ingredients that gave the whole thing a wonderful texture. The BURRITO CARNE DE RES was also a highlight. The combination of tender beef, flavorful beans and fresh vegetables in a perfectly wrapped tortilla was simply amazing. The portion was generous and each bite was a feast for the senses. A particular highlight, however, was the Spicy Margarita. Although it wasn't on the menu, it was cooked perfectly upon our request. The margarita had a balanced acidity that was complemented by an excellently balanced spiciness. This combination made it a real taste experience and rounded off our evening perfectly. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Overall, our evening at El Pacifico was an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food in Frankfurt. We will definitely come back! Muchas gracias, El Pacifico, for this wonderful evening!
