Great atmosphere Very tasty food And great staff Always happy :)

The restaurant cannot do anything about the loud air conditioning and the truck traffic from the neighboring supermarket. But why is the "garden" so cluttered (junk in the corner, cigarette butts, napkins and old leaves on the floor...) and the tables not wiped down? Although there was little going on (1 other guest), none of the three employees cared. The portions were okay for the price.

I ordered mixed tacos, expressed interest in barbacoa at the counter and said that I like spicy and fresh herbs. I was asked to sit down. Even though it says "of your choice", I wasn't asked what I wanted in it, barbacoa wasn't included, there were no fresh herbs and it wasn't very spicy. Very few authentic flavors, more like grandma's bolo in the taco + cheese. Would have helped to ask me and not send me away from the counter. 🙈

The food was sweet and bland, which does not represent Tex-Mex food in any way. If you are looking for Mexican or Tex-Mex, this place is very far away from it. As a note the restaurant owner has been trying to remove negative reviews with the pretext that the person reviewing them never ate there... This is probably the reason why they have been managing a 4+ rating on their reviews.

The tacos are really, really delicious. Spicy tacos are also recommended, especially for those who like spicy food🔥 Last time I visited, the tacos were so delicious that I decided to try other menu items this time. The ingredients are diverse and fresh. Once again, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.👍👍👍 Not only the food, but I also highly recommend their homemade lemonade! It's really refreshing and tasty.👍👍👍 I will definitely visit again. This is the best restaurant in Frankfurt.

The service was rather disappointing

This restaurant has very rude waiters. Definetly not recommended, if you like to be treated with respect.

We ordered quesadillas, tacos and enchilada, it had no Mexican taste, too much oil, tasteless rice and vegetables. Bland meat. Also they have a rude waiter who looks down on the customers!

I visited here on the recommendation of a family member who has been here several times. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. The fresh tacos and various food options were attractive, and most of all, they tasted really great. Especially the owner is friendly. If I come to Germany again I will definitely visit this place again.

Recommended for to-go orders. The atmosphere in the restaurant is not particularly inviting and it didn't seem cleaned. The meal came quickly because no one else was there. The cheese tacos and burrito were tasty but not particularly flavorful like other Mexican restaurants. All in all, we didn't like it that much.

The food was so delicious! We also ordered cocktails which I forgot to take a picture of. I had a mohito and compared to other places, it was very good.

Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite a confirmed reservation, our table was not prepared, which left a bad first impression. The quality of the food left a lot to be desired. It completely lacked flavor, the beans were hard and the salad ingredients were not fresh but appeared to be at least five hours old and were dry. The dish was in no way TexMex or Mexican cuisine. Just because corn and beans are used doesn't automatically make a dish Mexican. Unfortunately, the service wasn't any better either. The staff was unfriendly and in some cases even rude. Given the good location of the restaurant, I expected much more. The prices were also far too high for the quality offered. It would be nice if the restaurant improved, but personally I won't review this again.

We ordered two vegan dishes. The food was not very spicy and not particularly tasty. The filling in the wrap was then served again 1 to 1 as a side dish. We paid €14 for this. Unfortunately. I wouldn't eat there again.

The waiter and the food were great. The facilities were old and there was only one toilet. But you have to say that it is difficult to get nice restaurant space in the Frankfurt area. We'll definitely be back and the food was impressive.

Great taste and great service! We recently visited the Chichilas Tex Mex Restaurant in Frankfurt and absolutely loved it! The food was incredibly tasty and freshly prepared. We ordered a burrito and an enchilada and both were simply delicious. The service was extremely nice and accommodating - she even kindly lent us a charging cable and surprised us with an additional dip on the house! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine.

I had the vegetarian enchilada, didn't taste good at all. Vegetables were completely overcooked and had nothing Mexican at all. Guacamole tasted like a convenience store mix (and probably is).

The shop attracted my friends due to its charming atmosphere, and we were craving Mexican food. However, it turned out to be one of the worst tasting Mexican meals I've ever had. The flavor was off, somehow both salty and bland. The side salad was disappointing, consisting only of lettuce and a few kernels of corn. Overall, the meal fell short of expectations. On the bright side, the fries were good.

After church visit, we decided to eat something mouth-watering but affordable. So we tried this CHICHILAS TexMex cozy restaurant. The food has the best combination of sweet, salty, piquant, and hot. Has a variety of textures which makes the food appetizing and mouth-watering. I love tacos and quesadillas so, I ordered one and my friends love the burritos, and was really suprised how big and worth the price. It is more than just eating a good meal, it's an experience that brings family and friends together. So, yes! thumbs-up for this! Absolutely scrumptious and affordable. The only good thing about this place is that the employees are nice but food is so bad. I have no idea how this place is 4 stars, or how people can stand to eat it! Every item we got was literally drenched in oil. I don’t expect the food to be completely healthy but it was literally inedible and tasteless! This is probably the worst food I’ve had in Frankfurt and I don’t recommend anyone to come if you have an appetite, especially for “Tex-mex.” I wish I had more positive things to say.

Were here with our B My Frankfurt vouchers. Through this we found out that the food was Halal. Vouchers could be used without any problems. Had enchiladas which were delicious. Decent portion with rice, vegetables and salad.

Gestern essen bestellt und war einfach maßlos enttäuscht !!!! Enchilada war schon eine Katastrophe die aber vom Chilli Con Carne bei weitem übertroffen wurde! Deckel aufgemacht und es kam mir ein unangenehmer Geruch hoch... kleinen löffel probiert und dann leider sowie das Enchilada in den Mülleimer gewandert.. 20 Euro Lehrgeld gezahlt , hier esse ich wohl niewieder und kann jedem nur empfehlen das chilli nicht zu probieren

Wir haben uns auf mexikanisches Essen gefreut. Die Enchiladas waren zwar stark gefüllt und an Fleisch wurde definitiv nicht gespart, allerdings war das Essen sehr trocken und recht langweilig. Sour Cream dazu hätte für eine gute Abwechslung und milde gesorgt. Ansonsten darf man kein Restaurant feeling erwarten, es handelt sich eher um ein Schnellrestaurant feeling. Was gut war, war die Bio Limonade. Diese war frisch, viel und sehr günstig. Preislich ist auch alles im Rahmen, allerdings könnte noch an den Füllungen gearbeitet werden.

Die Location ist von der Zeil sehr gut erreichbar und ganz ok. Es sieht ungemütlicher aus als es ist. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett. Das Essen war sehr gut. Ich hab mich rundum wohlgefühlt. Empfehlenswert.

Für auf die Schnell mal was anderes ist es echt top. Haut am Ende keinen vom Hocker, aber beschweren wird sich auch keiner.

Unpretentious high quality food… The way it should be. great take on Tex-Mex food style with many unique dishes to choose from. Also - great guys working there!

Overall disappointing. The flavor was nothing like any Tex Mex I've ever had. My order of spicy was mild, I could barely tell there was spice in it at all. They also forgot any guac or sour cream with the order.

Haben eben per Uber Eats bestellt, vorneweg Lieferung kam überpünktlich, da gab's nichts zu meckern. Was die Qualität des Essens angeht leider schon, sämtliche Toppings kamen in einer Schale, die Guacamole wurde über den Salat gekippt, der Käse auf das Fleisch, war daher schon komplett geschmolzen. Somit war ein belegen nach Wunsch nicht mehr möglich, nicht jeder mag alles in seinem Taco, wir hatten scharfe Salsa bestellt, bekommen haben wir genau das Gegenteil! Dazu gab es drei winzige Tacos, die eiskalt ankamen und vor dem Belegen erst mal eine Runde in den Ofen mussten. Die Wedges waren wie gewohnt heiß und lecker, das reist das schlechte Gesamtbild aber leider nicht mehr raus Wir haben schon mehrfach bei euch bestellt und waren bisher immer zufrieden, aber diesmal war's rausgeschmissenes Geld, echt schade und satt ist auch was anderes 😕 Und da bei Bestellungen zum Liefern gerne der schwarze Peter dem Lieferanten zugeschoben wird, dieses Mal seid definitiv Ihr als Restaurant schuld, denn Ihr packt das Essen ein! Halale und mexikanische Küche. Einmalig in Frankfurt. Quesadillas waren sehr lecker und leicht scharf. Ansonsten solides und schlichtes Menü. Freundliche Mitarbeiter und sehr schnell in der Bedienung. Preis Leistung ist hier fair. Ambiente passt, sehr viele Details. Allerdings ist das Lokal eher klein.

Die Portionen sind riesig und schmecken sehr lecker. Vom Ambiente würde ich das Chichlas als Imbiss-Restaurant bezeichnen.
