PLEASE NOTE CASH PAYMENTS ONLY! A very small fish restaurant in a side street in Düsseldorf. You can walk right past it. It only has six tables in total for about 20 people. In the front there is a display case with fresh fish, there is a mini kitchen with a bar next to it. Nice to see the chef busy with the preparations. We went to eat here based on previous reviews. Because it is such a small restaurant, we made reservations in advance, although it was not busy when we were there. Service very friendly and willing to help you with explanations about the menu. We first got a piece of toast with smoked salmon fillet on the house. As a starter we started with a shrimp cocktail and lobster soup, which was really delicious. As a main course we both had the halibut which had a mild taste and all the herbs went well together. The food is more than worth your money. It is all carefully coordinated. Only the wine was very expensive at €14.50 for a normal glass of Pinot Gricio. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not state that you can only pay in cash, but there is an ATM two meters next to the restaurant. We didn't have a problem with this because we had no cash and had to use the debit card. Would definitely come back here again.

Absolutely fantastic French restaurant! Highly recommended. The food is excellent and of great quality, and the wine list is top-notch!

food so good but terrible service. we’ve waited over 1:30 hrs to receive the starters and still waiting for our main courses while I am writing this review. not to mention that I had to ask three times to get my drink. so sad they’re overshadowing the good taste with such slow and careless service. imma definitely not go back.

Yesterday's buffet was disastrous...I was very disappointed, and after 30 minutes, the food was gone (the leftovers from two containers were transferred to one; fish? Only one type and almost nothing in it... sad 😢 If you sit by the gate, it's too cold and you only get a draft. Super friendly staff
