We have been going to Portobello regularly for many years and are always completely happy and satisfied! You can simply tell that there are professionals at work in this family business who have been running this restaurant for generations. The changing menu, the great wines and the excellent service keep us coming here again and again. Highly recommended!

Eaten ice cream sundae. It was still easy to sit outside. Sundae was delicious.

Food was very tasty. But the service was absolutely inattentive. The cold white lighting is uncomfortable, which is a real shame since the ambience is otherwise quite nice.

Best restaurant in Ratzeburg…. It has a very cozy atmosphere and a creative menu. The food is great, the ingredients are fresh and you don't have to wait long for the food. The service is attentive and friendly, so you immediately feel at home.

If you want Italian cuisine, don't come here!

We were in the restaurant in a large group and had our own room. Of course, reservations had been made beforehand and the desired dishes were even listed beforehand so that they did not have to be recorded separately. However, the staff was overwhelmed in every way by the number of guests. It should simply have been pointed out that there was no capacity for so many guests (approx. 40 people). The drinks came after about 80 minutes (!). The first meal came after over 2 hours and then little by little over a period of about 20 minutes. That is beyond reasonable. Communication with guests was a disaster; no greeting from the kitchen, no apology or information. While distributing the food, one of the waiters commented whether they didn't know what they had ordered. Overall, I have never experienced such an unpleasant situation in a restaurant. Some members of our group had their food packed straight away because it was simply too late. When paying with the card, people then asked whether it really wasn't possible to pay in cash, for small amounts. That doesn't exactly show tact after waiting over 2 hours. The food itself was good but not exceptional. What was strange was that the vegetables on the pizza included carrots. In addition, the vegetables such as zucchini were apparently not baked in the oven before being put on the pizza. So it was a bit muddy.

Once again a very nice evening with great service and delicious food! We'll meet Again.

Dies ist eine Bewertung für das Restaurant poi napoletana, nicht den Lieferservice. Ich lese gerade, dass das poi napoletana einen neuen Betriebsleiter sucht und denke, dass das nach unserem gestrigen Abend eine gute Idee ist. Zunächst: Pizza und Pasta sind gut, deshalb gehen wir dort immer gerne hin. Aber: der Service ist relativ langsam und offenbar ungeschult, dabei in Teilen muffelig. Die Tische wurden nach den Gästen nicht abgewischt, immer erst, wenn neue Gäste kamen, die dann an dreckigen Tischen Platz nahmen (es war nicht viel zu tun). Bei sehr eng gestellten Tischen wird den Gästen das Essen von hinten rübergereicht, von da, wo man es nicht sieht und sich undrehen muss. Und leider gab es keine adäquate Lösung oder Reaktion auf einen kleinen Fehler der Küche. Dann muss man aber auch nicht an den Tisch kommen und fragen, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Was uns aber Anfang/Mitte Juni am meisten irritierte: in den Karten (Zettel) findet sich immer noch die Winterkarte! Die Begründung: einige der Sachen haben wir ja noch - wie wäre es dann mal mit neu gedruckten Karten? Dazu passten aber die Weihnachtskugeln und der Panettonekarton auf der Fensterbank. Befremdlich im Sommer. Hier fehlt eindeutig eine ordnende , strukturierende Hand.

Food has always been good, today we had to wait an hour for our food. When we called and asked where our food was, they said it was on the way. After an hour the food finally arrived. It's a shame, we really enjoyed ordering there, but now it was the last time. Pasta didn't taste good, mushrooms tasted like they came from a can. It's a real shame.

The first 2 times ordering pizza were great. Pizza was very tasty; however, last week we ordered pizza and it was gross. It tasted like old/expired ham. So sad.

Food and service are OK Prices are now quite expensive

9/16/24 9:15 a.m.! The word breakfast “buffet” is a huge exaggeration! 1 type of (simplest) roll, 1 type of brown bread, honey, jam and chocolate cream! 2 types of cheese, sausage and cornflakes - that was it! Orange juice and coffee! Normally I wouldn't eat anything here! BUT: The lady in service makes it special! Discreet friendliness, the actually obvious menu explained, the obvious interaction with other guests - that was THE pleasure! It's nice that there are still service(!) employees who enjoy what they do! Therefore 5***** and only 2** for the “buffet” – which doesn’t deserve the name! But coffee and scrambled eggs were great 🔝!

This review rates the restaurant after the change of operator in summer 2024, because it has improved since then! It's a nice little restaurant with Indian and Italian dishes. This is an unusual combination but it works very well here. The food is always delicious and well prepared. The service is also very hospitable and customer-oriented. I can only recommend eating or ordering here!
