Pizza was better than in Naples. Well topped, crosser and tasty base and very aromatic. Not dripping with grease at all.
We even had sharp knives, which is not the case in many other Italian restaurants.
Tiramisu is highly recommended and the service staff (short blonde hair) was very friendly and attentive.
We have known the business as Mezzomar for at least 10 years and were weekly regulars. After Corona we weren't there anymore and when we visited 3 weeks ago we discovered that the Mezzomar is now called Sciacca. It was Saturday evening around 8 p.m. and the store was empty. Before, nothing worked without a reservation. We became suspicious. A lot has changed. Interior equipment top. But... staff slow and chat more than attending to guests' needs. No comparison to before. Some of the food was inedible. Complaint to the boss. Salad with wilted leaves (not fresh at all), the sauce indefinable, the second meal a world away from the previous quality. Answer: "Everything is fresh, but my cooks are not equally good. Man
Can't it please everyone?!?" Aha, but that worked before and the food is still sold at a hefty price. We left the shop without the compensation coffee on the house. No more recommendation!
Very nice atmosphere, delicious food and friendly staff. There is a great playground opposite so that even the little ones get their money's worth. The only negative point is the few parking spaces around the restaurant
I had imagined the restaurant to be a bit more rustic, the ambience is very modern and cool - as is the service: instead of a "good evening" you get incoherent words thrown at your head and as a guest you get the impression that you are a nuisance. The only friendly and attentive service was the lady who, according to the imprint, is probably the owner - but that's just speculation. For the second waiter, it was almost nonsense that you would want to try a wine before consuming it - including rolling your eyes and groaning. The food was okay, but not a pleasant surprise and a bit too cold. For us the last time we were there.
I recommend it. I became aware of the restaurant through a voucher booklet. We were there shortly after 6 p.m. and were the only ones there. guests at this time. We were advised and served by the head of the house. Food was delicious. We chose pork medallions with orange sauce and one pizza Borussia. Price performance completely OK.
Friendly and delicious. Ambience well designed. Gladly again .
Last night I spontaneously looked for a restaurant nearby to have something to eat.
At first we were surprised that there was so little going on.
The quality of the food is definitely convincing, both the pizzas and the pasta were very tasty.
It's definitely worth a visit, we'll be happy to come back.
Wonderful location in a great environment, opposite the MSV Duisburg stadium on the regatta course.
Good restaurant, super friendly staff and a select menu guarantee wonderful hours. Whether as a couple or with friends, you will be treated well here and feel like you are in good hands.
We'll definitely be back.
