Caution. This restaurant is designed to be a complete tourist rip off. The staff is rushed and unfriendly. I advise everyone not to visit this restaurant. Drink prices (only 0.4 liters possible on the terrace - €6.20 for mineral water) and food leave a lot to be desired. Glasses are not really clean. Even one star is not even remotely justified.

We ate there with our adult children after Gamescom with 6 people. Very close to the Rhine and the cathedral. We were asked to sit down. Order taken. Up until then everything was very good. Then the food came. Burger with fries and noodles. The taste of the food was bland, the fries were glassy, ​​unsalted and the meat was dry. The pasta sauce was unseasoned. After dinner we sat in front of empty plates for 30 minutes. All glasses were empty. We didn't get a second drink. Were served fairly quickly. We just didn't get what we ordered, but no problem and we adjusted. When paying, the owner asked why we did not leave a tip (we were certainly from Belgium) and he clearly indicated that we did not have to come back to him again. Very customer friendly.....

If you are in Cologne, definitely stop there. The food was very good. We had a pizza with a small salad, tortellini in a cheese cream sauce and I had the salmon with rice and lettuce. It was super tasty. My culinary highlight was the tiramisu. I have to say, I love tiramisu and wherever I get it, I order it. But here, wouw, this was the best tiramisu I've ever eaten. The service there is absolutely professional, very polite. We were there when football was going on and despite the stress on site, the employees were in a good mood and super organized. If I come to Cologne again, I would love to eat here again.

Place was nice , unfortunately I can’t talk about the food or drinks as we were kicked out because “they only want to serve food” , I can’t be sure, because the waiter also said “we’re closing” , but they didn’t actually close. Service was good, food not so much. Growing up in NYC and having been to Italy, I can only say the food was fair. The biggest disappointment was getting Pillsbury bisquits as the bread for the meal. What's strange is that there are all stickers on the door from card payment providers, yet we were told straight away that we could only pay in cash. On April 27th we had dinner there as a group of girls (around 6 p.m.). The food was prepared very quickly upon request. However, the waiter (short brown hair) totally ripped off some of us when paying. We only noticed afterwards that he gave us €10 less in change each. Absolute mess! That was on purpose. Please pay attention to your change when paying, dear guests!! I remembered the waiter's face. I'll contact the boss too!

Came here on a beautiful afternoon in April. The lady there was absolutely the rudest and grumpiest person ever. The staff generally were not welcoming from the beginning. We decided to sit outside and they were rudely said you can only sit here if you’re eating - so we said yes we are. The waitress tells us the card machine is not working, so I go to the train station to draw money. Then it came to order, we wanted to order a round of beers first but she would simply not allow it and said that she will take the food and drink order together and dismissed us. We proceeded then to order everything together. This whole experience was not pleasant for us and the food was also just OK - nothing to write home about and nothing to return for. We ordered some pizzas - these were fine. The bruschetta was appalling though - don’t order that and waste your money. So when I asked for the cheque - as an absolutely courtesy I decided tip her 4 euros for her applaudable service. She then comes to get the money and VERY rudely says that the bill does not include tip and it was a 10% service charge (which was not even stated on the actually bill might I add). The bill was almost 90 euros which meant this lady was asking me for a 10 EURO tip… I actually wanted to laugh at the audacity she had to even say that. Since I was with friends and their children, I really decided not to make a scene and I paid it. This waitress with a pixie cut who virtually bullied me into a tip ruined my afternoon - Thank you Cosa Nostra! Do better please.

It's been my first spot to eat something in Cologne for several years. The direct location on the Rhine is simply great & the quality of the food is very good.

At first we were greeted very friendly, but when we couldn't decide straight away we had to wait. The "boss" then came and asked us to speak louder so he could enter it directly into the cash register. Then nothing happens for a long time. We received 2 cocktails and 1 coffee, Schweppes Bitter Lemon didn't come. The vanilla ice cream came beautifully presented. Instead, the dips and bread only came when requested, so I skipped the Schweppes. As I said, nice shop, clean toilets, but forgetting something with 4 drinks and 2 small snacks was a shame. And that for 35€.

Unfortunately we were completely ignored by all the waitresses and we don't know why. Unfortunately, no assessment of the food and the like.

Unfortunately, we were only informed when paying that card payment was not possible. That is not how it works. Food was good. Ordered a special dish without mushrooms. Apparently it wasn't supposed to be a problem, but the court came along. Bread was offered with the lasagna, but was missing. Unfortunately, the waiter knew the prices of the daily specials, so the prices were calculated according to the menu.

We had ordered antipasti for two people...unfortunately nothing was Italian...salami and cheese had nothing to do with Italian...hence the bad rating!!!

Because the restaurant had a high rating, expectations were high. Partly because of that it was very disappointing. We thought it was nothing more than an overpriced tourist restaurant. The Caprese I ordered had tasteless tomatoes and cheap tasteless mozzarella. The pizza dough rolls served with the starter were blackened, tough and cold. The Norwegian salmon was fine, but actually everything was not very refined, both in terms of layout and taste. The only dessert to order was Tiramisu and it really looked like nothing. A much too large jar with some ladyfingers at the bottom and a lot of whipped cream and virtually no mascarpone and liqueur or other alcohol, virtually impossible to taste. An Italian would be ashamed of it. Finally the wine, we wanted to order a bottle of Valpolicella Ripaso from the menu for €45, but it turned out they didn't have it. Then I ordered Quota29 Primitivo. This was okay but a bit overpriced at €33 and the wine was way too warm. We were forced to let the second bottle cool down first, you have to do something. The service consisted of an older lady behind the bar and 1 young man who actually did quite well, but because he was alone he was very busy all evening.

We went to Cosa Nostra for dinner. Honestly, the lasagna was too greasy and heavy and I can’t say we enjoyed it. The staff is really friendly and the location is nice.

Went here on our weekend trip. Wanted to go to a more traditional place, but due to the Christmas Markets that were happening, it was nearly impossible to get in. So we went here. Best. Lasagna. I. Had. Whenever I eat lasagna elsewhere it looks pale in comparison to what I had here. Wish I could come more often. Beat meal I had whilst I was in Germany. Servers were nice, friendly and quite fun. It was a nice cozy place with a great atmosphere. It is not big but big enough not to fewl cramped. Whenever we visit Cologne again I will certainly go back!

The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the “Drei Kronen” Hotel, located directly on the Rhine and not far from the cathedral. We dined outside on the terrace - in the middle of February. It's all ok!

Well-served dishes, without being abundant, are enough. Tasty food. They served me a portion of chicken prepared on the grill, but a couple more minutes on the heat would have been good. The other diners ate pasta and found it to be a very good choice. We had dinner two nights in a row and I would gladly return. We coincide with the Köln Carnival and the whole area is celebrating and a very good atmosphere is generated throughout the block and the surrounding area. Safe place to go at night from the Cathedral and it is really worth the walk and the few extra Euros that the place can cost, since it is much better food than fast food places and without a doubt, better atmosphere as well as tables more comfortable and much better service. We ate outside the place, under an awning but with radiant panels and blankets available and it felt cold at all.

We were happy to have found a place to sit and eat something in peace during the Weiberfastnacht. The prices match the location but I have never eaten a bacon burger (>14€) that tasted less. The patti from the burger wasn't really tasty, but we were starving... My friends had pizza and were quite happy. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio wasn't right.
