L'Antipasto in Köln

Nice atmosphere, solid food. Very friendly service, but occasionally something is forgotten or mixed up. Sitting outside in the summer evenings is very relaxing.

As a neighbor and long-time customer of L'Antipasto, I had to be very surprised that the waiter loudly called my puppy a "rat" just because I was walking on the public sidewalk along the restaurant's outdoor terrace. Mutual respect in Veedel looks different.

A disappointment. I wanted to order a pizza and the waiter recommended lasagne. Unfortunately the lasagna was subpar - no hack between the plates. Then we got spaghetti Bolognese. €16.50 is overpriced. My girlfriend's pizza wasn't hot. Conclusion: Overpriced and bad cuisine.

La Dolce Vita from the ashtray. Chefs smoke outside, hands remain unwashed afterwards, pizza tastes like smoke. Tourist rip-off in Veedels costume, audience like at the fire department festival in Bergheim. Anyone who expects enjoyment here also believes in home-made garlic butter from the delivery service.

We ordered 2 gluten-free pizzas, but they didn't have any left and so we had to order other food. The salad was incredibly small and was supposed to have olives in it, there were only 2 olives to be found. The regular magariatas were good though. The gluten free pasta took 45 minutes & was told it was because they had to change the water. However, 45 minutes is unacceptable because the two of them had already finished the normal pizzas and then the salad came and 20 minutes later the gluten-free pasta. Would not recommend the store for gluten intolerant people as there were incredibly long waiting times. Service was sarcastic and not very accommodating.

We spontaneously decided on the restaurant and it was exactly the right decision. The service was super nice and very friendly. After a while of waiting our pizzas arrived and they were very tasty and a good size. Requests for changes were accepted easily! The music in the restaurant was also really great and sweetened the waiting time. Nice shop!

Hello! Yesterday we had a company party and ate at L'Antipasto with 11 people. It was perfect all around. The service was extremely attentive, the food was great, and the atmosphere was very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Every single one of us was thrilled. Many greetings, Veronika

Immer wieder SCHLECHT Warum ich diesem Restaurant alle Jahre wieder eine Chance gebe, liegt daran, dass ich gegenüber wohne. Ein guter Italiener direkt vor der Haustür, das wäre ein Traum - nur leider erfüllt sich dieser mit dem L‘Antipasto so gar nicht. Heute: Eine einfache Bestellung für eine Pizza zum Abholen, die am Feierabend ein einfaches, kleines „Glück“ bescheren könnte, scheitert daran, dass die erste komplett verbrannt war, da der Koch sie im Ofen vergessen hat und abwesend war. Die zweite eiskalt, da aus technischen Gründen keine Kartenzahlung möglich war, Sicherung war rausgesprungen, Strom weg. Weil man zunächst nicht wollte, dass ich am nächsten Tag zur Zahlung kommen dürfe, lag meine Pizza lange während der Diskussion auf der Theke. Am Ende habe ich zu Hause eine kalte, sehr blasse, lätschige Pizza im Karton vorgefunden die als wenig spektakuläre Salami/Zwiebel ganz sicher keine 15€ wert war, die ich dafür bezahlt habe. Der Rand war gerade so durchgebacken. Wiederholt überzeugt dieser Laden in Sachen Sevice und (hauptsächlich) Qualität der Speisen NICHT. Und ich werde auf jeden Fall ab jetzt standhaft bleiben und ihm keine weitere Chance geben.

There were four of us and we really enjoyed the food. Spaghetti carbonara, as it should be, great pizza. Overall a nice experience.

We opened the restaurant on: October 19th. Visited and it tasted really great. The waiter was very accommodating. The price is a bit more expensive, the ambience is not breathtaking, but you can really recommend the homemade fresh noodles!

We were in l last week. Antipasto and we felt very comfortable. The service staff was quite okay, they were simply excellent... However, the young lady at the counter, she seems to be new, was very, very polite and very attentive, an absolute asset to the l antipasto, we hope that she stays there for a long time, we are happy see you next time

Absolute impudence. You make a binding reservation for a table and it is simply given to another group. We received no call or information. Where is the decency of today's gastronomy? Just because the restaurant supposedly has good food (we couldn't try it) you can't treat your potential guests in this way. The chef is a very dubious guy. Hopefully that will change. Clear recommendation to give this store a wide berth.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to enjoy the food at all because our reservation was simply ignored. Very disappointing!

Very tasty pizza, very stressed waiters. It's a shame that there is no tap water at the table. A still 0.25 water costs €4. That's a bit disproportionately expensive.

I was very disappointed with my last visit to this restaurant. First of all we had to wait a long time before the menu was even brought to us. The service was extremely slow and inattentive. To make matters worse, we discovered an incorrect and overpriced amount on the bill. The staff was rude and unhelpful. Overall, the price-performance ratio was absolutely unreasonable. This is particularly unfortunate because we used to be guests here often and were always satisfied with the food and service. Unfortunately we won't be coming back in the future.

Very mixed visit. Guests who arrived after us finished eating before we had ours on the table. We got drinks 25 minutes after we sat down. Eating (3x pasta, 1x pizza) took far too long with really moderate occupancy on a Wednesday evening. The staff seemed largely uninterested. The food itself was tasty, but not enough to make up for the poor service or justify the very high prices.

Food came 30 minutes apart and we had to eat separately. And then the food came wrong too. Drinks also had a wait of 30 minutes. After we raised it, the rudest boss told us never to come back. Absolute disaster. Never again!!

Absolutely disappointing! - Never again! We had the wild herb salad with goat cheese and the wild herb salad with scampi. However, there was no trace of wild herbs! Both salads were completely carelessly prepared, tasted like nothing and the dressing was also missing. Upon request, a bottle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar was placed on the table. Far too expensive for a few mixed lettuce leaves (from the bag), white onions, radishes, two pieces of tomato and olives. The owner responded to our constructive feedback with arrogance and incomprehension. He became really rude and showed no customer focus. We left the restaurant super disappointed and won't be coming back!

Ordered with delivery service and received an absolute disaster. The bruschetta came in a pizza box and the tomatoes were exactly where they weren't supposed to be: NEXT TO THE BREAD! And we also received a completely wrong pizza that was too spicy for us to eat. We won't order from there again.

Today I had the pleasure of visiting L'Antipasto at Antwerpener Str. 39 in Cologne and treating myself to a delicious Fungi pizza to take away. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and a terrace that is perfect for relaxed al fresco dining. The pizza was simply heavenly! The dough was nice and thin and crispy, and the topping of fresh mushrooms and cheese was just perfect. I could literally taste the quality of the ingredients used here. Added to this was the friendly service, which made my visit even more pleasant. It was interesting to see that other visitors were similarly enthusiastic. Some also praised the authentic Italian cuisine and cozy atmosphere. It seems like L'Antipasto is really an insider tip that you should definitely try. All in all, my visit to L'Antipasto was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and I look forward to visiting again soon and trying more delicacies. I can definitely recommend this place!

Since the restaurant looks very nice from the outside and you are practically a neighbor, I went there for a drink with my business partner this evening. We sat at a table for two outside by the window. Unfortunately, we had to watch as the person behind the counter responsible for the drinks took out his dentures and calmly emptied his cheek pouches with his fingers in his mouth. Then he spit with relish into the sink, put his teeth back in and then, WITHOUT washing his hands, picked up a blue cloth and continued polishing the glasses. We were more than served. When the owner of the restaurant was asked about the situation, there was only reassurance. His teeth allegedly fell out. There was no apology and nothing on the house. The proud bill was allowed to be paid in full. Hygiene seems to be very important there and doesn't really seem to be of interest. Once and never again! I'm still fighting nausea.

It's nice to sit outside, the service is friendly but chaotic. Unfortunately, the food wasn't anything special and the prices were a bit too high. The Vitello Tonnato is ok. The penne with eggplant was completely swimming in oil. The pizza was ok, the dough was a bit stiff and we didn't like the cheese that much.

Sehr sehr schwaches Essen! Trüffelnudeln war ein einziger Reinfall, mindestens die Hälfte zurückgegeben und niemanden hat es interessiert!

Quantity and quality have dropped significantly... Starter was good but the lasagna was really bad. No taste and the meat had to be searched for, something came between the bechamel and pasta… What a shame!

Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're unlucky... On my first visit the pizza was excellent and the other dishes I ordered were good. Today the same pizza was either kept warm for too long or a pizza from a previous, incorrect order was brought to me warmed up. I could barely cut the edge, which was far too dry, let alone eat it. The middle of the pizza was swimming in excess oil. The pizza maker probably tried to save the pizza with an overdose of oil. The salmon was fried OK, but the small salad that came with it would have benefited from a dressing. The saltimbocca with rosemary potatoes and fried zucchini was hardly seasoned, but was also swimming in oil. A glass of white wine that was ordered didn't even come to the table, but it did appear on the bill. The service was a bit erratic, the tone towards the hard-working staff was rough, the seating was anything but comfortable and the tables were really squeezed together. I'm happy to give the store another chance because I know it can be better. We gladly accepted the limoncello that was brought as an apology. Unfortunately, today the price-performance ratio was anything but balanced.

Das Essen war sehr enttäuschend. Langweilig gewürzt und lieblos zubereitet bzw. angerichtet. Der gemischte Salat bestand aus nur grünem Salat, einer halben Tomate in Scheiben geschnitten und 3 Oliven. Dafür fast 10 Euro. Alles zusammen war viel zu teuer für liebloses Essen. Sehr schade!

Best spaghetti carbonara I've ever eaten. Absolute recommendation.

Service inattentive, bottle of water forgotten, wrong cutlery, food served cold, but friendly. Pasta dishes were only ok in taste.

Today we (2 people) walked past it with our dog and spontaneously decided to have dinner outside. The order was taken quickly - we also ordered some water for our dog. Drinks came quickly (except the water for our dog), the food came relatively quickly (except the water again). After I asked 4 times if we could have the water, I was insulted in a very unfriendly manner with the words - “Should I serve dogs now?” The tone, the statement itself and the pizza, which unfortunately doesn't taste like anything, make me avoid the shop in the future and only give it one star.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience. We sat down and asked beforehand if we could just drink something. This was answered in the affirmative. Then we waited a long time to order, only to be told in an unfriendly tone; that we have to eat something. And there were more than enough tables available, we didn't take anything away from anyone. It's a shame, it was an unpleasant experience!

Not recommendable! There were a lot of guests on site due to the warm outside temperatures, luckily we got a table and a bottle of water relatively quickly. Afterwards, however, it took an hour until more drinks arrived. After almost two hours of ordering the food and repeatedly asking (neighboring tables also asked), I wanted to cancel my main course because I no longer had an appetite and even the starters hadn't been served yet. The rather unfriendly boss then came, visibly stressed. He apologized, but two hours of waiting was within his limits. They were overrun (the forecast seems to be rather uninteresting in advance) and the cook was - literally "on the A...". I couldn't cancel my order on my own because he gave me the choice: "Either everyone cancels or no one cancels" - how can a guest put me in such a situation where I have to decide for my friends at that moment! But I quickly saw the line of guests waiting for a table and knew the explanation: €€€. The tone of voice left a lot to be desired, no accommodation at all - a shame. We left disappointed.

Unfortunately the pizza is different every time. I ordered a Margherita with onions, I got a pizza with spring onions??? Unfortunately this was really inedible and for €12.50. I had a good pizza with normal onions there six months ago, but apparently they changed the chef.

Das Essen ist gut, aber wenn man als Kölscher Jung keinen Wein trinken möchte, verschlägt es einem bei den Kölschpreisen die Sprache: 3,50 € für 0,2 l Sionkölsch! Das ist einfach unglaublich!

Enttäuschend! Wir waren hier am 11.11. und haben uns vor Ort hingesetzt. Es war nicht voll und wir wurden nicht über die lange Wartezeit informiert, mussten jedoch im voraus bezahlen und dann über 1h auf unsere Pizzen warten, die dann auch noch nicht mal durch waren. Im Laden sahen wir, wie regelmäßig Pizzen an Lieferservices rausgingen. Nur leider wurden dadurch die Kunden drinnen vernachlässigt. Für mich ist das ein No-Go...

Ich war jetzt in den letzten Monaten bestimmt 4-5 mal hier und muss sagen ich bin wirklich ein Fan geworden! Das Personal ist super gut drauf- sympathisch, lustig und aufmerksam. Die Pizzen schmecken mir wirklich überdurchschnittlich gut und die Weine sind auch super.

Inkompetenter überforderter Service, der warten lässt nicht zuhört und Sachen vergisst. Damit ist nicht nur der Junge gemeint, der seinen ersten Tag hat. Essen war dafür sehr lecker.

Die Pizza ist lecker, aber eher durchschnittlich. Der Service war gut, aber wir musste mehrmals anfragen Bezahlen zu können.

Ich verstehe wirklich nicht wieso dieses Restaurant 4 Sterne hat. Ich nehme einmal an, dass es sich dabei zum größten Teil um die Bewertung von Freunden handelt....Sitzen kann man draußen wirklich sehr nett, wenn man einmal von dem muffigen Kellergeruch absieht (wir saßen direkt an einem Tisch an der Hauswand) Eigentlich hätten wir direkt am Anfang schon gehen müssen, aber die Hoffnung stirbt leider manchmal doch zuletzt. Wir haben eine nicht gerade billige Flasche Wein bestellt und schon die Farbe beim Eingießen ließ einen stutzig werden ganz zu schweigen von dem Geschmack. Der Wein war schon gekippt. Der Kellner hat uns noch zwei weitere Weine kosten lassen, aber wir haben uns nur für Wasser entschieden. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Salat, der weder Salz, Pfeffer, Öl oder Essig hatte. Eigentlich war es nur ein Gemisch aus Salaten mit einem gebackenen Ziegenkäse, der OK war. Das Brot war warm und auch lecker. Die Nudeln waren langweilig und lieblos zubereitet. Ich glaube so gut wie jeder kann sich eine bessere Sauce zubereiten. Mein Parmesankäse, den ich dazu haben wollte, wurde vergessen. Sowieso hat uns der Kellner nach der Wein Nummer eher ignoriert. Ich werde bestimmt nicht wieder kommen und rate jedem einen Bogen um diesen Laden zu machen.

Wollten aufgrund des netten Ambientes den Laden einmal ausprobieren. Wir sassen auch sehr schön draussen :) Leider liess der Service zu wünschen übrig. Die ersten Getränke und die Vorspeisen kamen schnell - diese waren geschmacklich gut. Trotz viel Personal dauerte es jedoch eine geraume Zeit bis unsere Teller abgeräumt wurden - Nachbestellung der Getränke war nur auf Nachfrage möglich. Wir warteten daraufhin knapp 1 Stunde auf unsere 2 Pizzen, obwohl andere Gäste die deutlich nach uns kamen bereits ihr Essen erhalten hatten. Nach Nachfrage dauerte es nochmal 20 Minuten bis unsere Pizzen ankamen - diese hätten leider aber auch noch 2 bis 3 Momente länger im Ofen bleiben können. Tolles Ambiente. Für den Service und den Preis jedoch nicht zu empfehlen.

Tolles Restaurant! Der Service ist klasse und sehr zuvorkommend. Eine sehr große Auswahl an Pizza und Pasta. Draußen ist es sehr gemütlich und man hat das Gefühl man ist in Italien.

Der Service, sowie das Essen lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig, Allgemein auch ein sehr angenehmes und entspanntes Ambiente.

45 Minuten auf das Essen gewartet, als wir das zweite mal nachfragten, stellte sich heraus, dass die Bestellung untergegangen war und wir wurden von Chef, der uns erzählen wollte, dass eine Pizza 45 Minuten braucht, aus dem Lokal gebeten.

Ich habe das L'Antipasto vor kurzem besucht und war sehr beeindruckt von dem Essen, dem Service und dem Ambiente. Das Restaurant ist klein und gemütlich, und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl an traditionellen italienischen Gerichten, die alle frisch und köstlich zubereitet sind.

The pasta was delicious but service was dire. During the same meal, the same waitress was supposed to bring another beer and the dessert menu. Neither arrived. Still not sure if she knew what she was supposed to be doing there though!! :)))....

Antipasti sehr empfehlenswert. Service sehr freundlich. Gute und ruhige Location.

Beautiful setting and decor but the food really lets the place down. I tried eating here three times while living locally and each time the pizza was unfortunately rather bad.

Pizza und Pasta waren nichts besonderes und schlecht gewürzt. War enttäuscht. Man sitzt allerdings ganz nett.

Restaurant mit viel Charme und nettem Personal. Pizza war jedoch sehr teigig und geschmacklos. Leider daher von mir keine Empfehlung.

Nettes Lokal mit Charme. Pizza war gut, zwar nicht berauschend aber auch nicht schlecht. Die kleine Vorspeise mit Weißbrot, Olivenöl und Balsamico hat mir gut gefallen.

Mehrmals Pizza bestellt. Schmeckt mal okay gut mal extrem schlecht. Die letzte Pizza hat uns dann beiden den Magen verdorben. Die Konkurrenz ist einfach deutlich besser. Update: Heute hat der Service gestimmt. Wurde sehr herzlich empfangen und die Pizza war das zweite mal in Folge okay. Daher passe ich die Sterne von 1 auf 3 an. Mal sehen wie es mit dem Laden weitergeht.

Gute Lage, freundliches und aufmerksames Personal aber vor allem, sehr leckeres Essen.
