The owners are quite young and incredibly motivated to rock the place, you can tell. You will be served very politely and quickly. The prices are very fair according to the quality 👌. I can really warmly recommend the store. 👍

This was by far the best kebab I've ever eaten!! This freshly tapped Ayran, which is available on an all you can drink basis... simply an unforgettable experience for the fine palate. The service team is very nice and committed...and visually they only lacked the height to become Germany's next top models. Many thanks to the entire team for this special experience!!! I really liked the restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The menu had a good selection and the food was tasty and beautifully presented. We had a wonderful evening with great food. The two boys are doing everything right after the reopening. Very nice atmosphere, great courteous service and no matter whether pizza or pasta, everything tasted very good. The price-performance ratio is also very good.

On site today with 8 people who had reserved. The table was not prepared. Then we should push it together ourselves! Instead of the vegetable starter I ordered (ordered twice as a small appetizer for 4), much more expensive antipasti was served for 69 euros! Wasn't worth it and so unrecognizable. Food arrived completely delayed (more than 10, more like 15 minutes). The last two pizzas were delivered incorrectly, were returned because they were not accepted, but in the end they were of course on the bill! This is fraud, we won't go there anymore! Oh yes, and by the way, even though we asked for it when paying, we only received the bill when we were explicitly asked to do so! We got the money back for the uneaten pizzas upon request! No go at all!!!

My absolute favorite Italian! The pizza is incomparably good, and the pizza creations are unique and inviting. The ingredients are fresh and high quality. When I'm in Cologne I have to go there every time.

Unfortunately, despite a reservation, the evening was marred because after almost an hour we were asked to pay because the table had already been re-reserved. There was no option to order additional drinks or food. Neither when we made the reservation nor when we entered the restaurant were we informed that we would only have the table for 1 hour. The bottom line is that we won't be visiting the restaurant again!

Pizza was very tasty, unfortunately we had to remind the staff to bring us the drinks. Difficult to communicate with the waiter, unfortunately we got the wrong food despite trying. There was no arugula for my Parma pizza, but I had arugula for another pizza. In addition to the good pizza, we also had something to smile about :)

The pizza tasted good. Unfortunately, the board on which it was served was dirty and had many cracks in which food residue had accumulated. As a starter we had Vitello Tonnato which was ok. Unfortunately, the bread that was served was not homemade. The ambience can still be improved. Plastic flowers, sticky tables and torn QR codes for the menu were not very inviting. Service was good and friendly. But there was nothing more than a “sorry” for the dirty boards. Unfortunately, when paying by card there was no option not to tip and 10% was a minimum.

Bonsoir, dear friends of culinary art. At a recent soir, Arno and I decided to be guests at an Italian restaurant. After a few minutes of research, we came across this eatery with the strange name "The Italian". The restaurant was at its peak for evening dining, but quite sparsely attended, which, as a true connoisseur, surprised me. Arno and I both ordered a proscioutto pizza and water. Even though the restaurant was so sparsely attended, it took the kitchen a full half hour to serve the food! There was nothing wrong with the pizzas, apart from the fairly advanced charring on Arno's pizza. As I know with many years of experience, the water was good and tasty. Finally, we rounded off the evening with a good portion of tiramisu. This was high quality and exuded lots of tasty flavors. The faux pas that evening, however, was the landlady's extremely revealing work clothes. In my opinion, the clothes as such were clearly too revealing, but when paying, Arno had to, in all seriousness, see her BARE breasts. Poor Arno! Arno and I think that something like that doesn't belong in a restaurant, you wonder what would have happened if there were children present! After all, the experience in this location was characterized by positive culinary experiences, although the ambience could have been significantly improved by a different dress code from the staff. The pizza wasn't bad but nothing special either. The prices are well above average, the tiramisu afterwards for 9 euros was anything but tiramisu, very much with sorbet. I personally find it rude and intrusive to be actively asked for a tip when paying. To be honest, I didn't think the service was particularly good. We wanted to order drinks with our meal, but the waiter tried to persuade us to drink something first and then order it afterwards. The shop was too small and noisy, you couldn't have a quiet conversation. I won't use this place anymore.

Food was good but service was very long. We got our main about 2h after arriving at the place. Can understand it happens but you need to tell customers in advance.

The portions are perfect and the prices are very humane. The service was excellent and the staff very accommodating. An absolute must for all lovers of Italian cuisine! What's special are the incredibly delicious pizzas, which simply taste fantastic. I can only recommend it ⭐️

The pizza was - and that's why I came here - rather average. No good olives (Qualità Taggiasche), the anchovies were completely over-salted and the dough lacked the typical texture. I was in Naples. I know what it actually has to be like. However, the service was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was very stylish.

Service not professional. I asked the waiter for water and said that I needed it quickly. After 10 minutes I had to ask him again and he had the opportunity to put a bottle of water down. Only then did the water come. When he saw my medication, he understood. It didn't matter why. That was probably the beginning. Then we had to wait a whopping hour for the pizzas. Compared to Pizza Napoli, it tasted like a regular pizza shop around your corner. I won't go there again.

The two of us ate here today. We waited 10 minutes for our order to be taken. Drinks and appetizers came a little later. Then ordered drinks again and waited for the main course. This came 40 minutes after the starter. The food was really good! Unfortunately, the waiting times are simply too long and the volume of the music is too much. Unfortunately it wasn't an isolated case as all the tables around us had to wait forever. The waiter was really nice (if you understood him because of the loud music) but he felt like he was alone & that made everything drag on.

Went to the "Italian" yesterday for the first and definitely last time. The food: there is hardly anything to complain about here. Bruschetta was good, pizza too. Not great, but good. Neapolitan, after all. Seems very fashionable right now. However, the reason for the bad rating lies elsewhere: service (primarily) and ambience. Ambience: here I limit myself to the loud music and the sticky tables. The former was so loud at first that you almost had to shout at each other. Accordingly, the noise level was quite high. As the evening progressed, people came to an understanding and the music was turned down a bit. Still, this is a restaurant and not a club. Our table was unpleasantly sticky. When asked, they also said that the table had been wiped and that was just the way it was. Well then. The biggest disappointment: the service. We waited exactly one hour and 20 minutes (!) for our pizzas. A sad record. Well after us, five people sat down at the neighboring table and had their entire dishes in front of us. We were obviously forgotten. When asked, something like "I'm alone, there's a lot to do". I didn't understand everything because, exactly, it was too loud. However, I couldn't hear an apology and we weren't offered anything to make amends. No go. There were also at least two service ladies walking through the restaurant. On top of that, I sat at my table with an empty beer glass for about an hour. Nobody seemed to care. Conclusion: both me and my girlfriend simply felt uncomfortable here and will not be coming back. Next.

Nice personal, didn't waiting long time for a food. 4⭐️ only because in "Rigatoni Crazy Chicken " we find only 1 peace of chicken.

I had a table reservation for 15 people on the occasion of my birthday. When we arrived, only tables for 10 people were available. All other tables were occupied. After waiting for 30 minutes and repeatedly proactively asking when a table would be available, whether there were at least chairs available and whether we could at least order drinks, we were still standing around without enough tables and chairs and we always had drinks not yet ordered. Not to mention an apology for the mistake. We then left the restaurant after 30 minutes.

I had high expectations, but unfortunately I was disappointed. First of all, it took a long time before we were even served. Then we waited 1 hour 10 minutes for the food. The food came cold and you had the feeling it had been sitting there for a while. In general the waiter seemed a bit overwhelmed. We then decided to order dessert. Unfortunately, we waited here again for almost 40 minutes. The ambience itself is very nice. However, I would not visit the restaurant again because of the service.

Due to the many good reviews, we had very high expectations of the Neapolitan pizza. Unfortunately, the pizzas lacked a lot of what makes a Neapolitan pizza. The salami pizza was baked very unevenly, one side was nice and the other was completely pale. The crust that we love so much on the Neapolitan pizza was very high, but not really airy, but rather doughy and heavy. We weren't impressed with the taste of the dough either; we've eaten better ones. Unfortunately, San Marzano tomatoes were saved on, wafer-thin tomato sauce that you could hardly taste. The Nduja was layered with thick chili rings with seeds (the rings could have been cut thinner), which made the pizza so spicy that you could hardly taste the actual topping. The carpaccio was positive, very tasty. When you call yourself The Italian you expect a perfect product

We went here for dinner with a small family group. First of all, we were welcomed very nicely. We were also looked after in a friendly and humorous way. The pizzas we ordered were well above average. What more could you want to celebrate a nice end to the day? See you next time.

We reserved a table for New Year's Eve and trusted the reviews. The employees greeted us very friendly and we had a nice window seat. The order was taken quickly and served quickly. The two pizzas were very different. One was good the other was bad. She was badly burned. Unfortunately, no one was interested and although the service staff continually walked past our table, they didn't even ask if everything was OK. After we finished one pizza quite quickly and couldn't really eat the other, we had to ask the service staff to clear the table and bring us the bill after quite a long time. Unfortunately, no one was open to criticism and we paid the entire price. We won't eat here anymore.

Erste mal dort habe Pizza bestellt war lecker und Personal freundlich dazu für Preis nicht teuer

Bei unserem Besuch in diesem trendigen Restaurant empfing uns eine warme und einladende Atmosphäre, die von einem vorwiegend jungen Publikum geprägt war. Die Pizza, die wir probierten, überraschte uns mit einem dickeren Rand. Aber dieser dickere Rand war überraschend lecker und gut gebacken. Der Belag war frisch und schmackhaft. Auch die Pasta war ein Highlight, perfekt al dente zubereitet und mit einer köstlichen Sauce serviert, die jeden Bissen zu einem Genuss machte. Das dazu getrunkene Starnberger Hell war erfrischend und rundete das Essen perfekt ab. Alles in allem bot das Restaurant eine wunderbare Kombination aus klassischer italienischer Küche mit einer eigenen Note. Für Liebhaber der italienischen Küche, die offen für neue Interpretationen sind, auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Der Inhaber ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend, wir essen hier gerne unsere Pizza.

Ein Versuch war es wert aber hat mich nicht beeindruckt. Die Pizza war geschmacklich okey aber der Teig war nicht fluffig uns frisch. Der Kellner also der Service war sehr Amateurhaft.

Wir waren gestern Abend im Restaurant Der Italiener in Köln essen. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und einladend. Wir haben Pizza und Nudeln bestellt. Die Pizzen waren gut, aber die Nudeln waren die besten die wir je gegessen haben. Die Pasta war leicht al dente und die Sauce war köstlich! Der Service war freundlich, aber der Kellner war etwas überfordert. Er hat uns nicht immer direkt bedient und wir mussten manchmal etwas warten. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen und dem Ambiente. Wir würden das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und wieder besuchen

Kaffee kalt und wässerig ! Wechselgeld stimmte nicht ! Unmöglicher Laden, nicht zu empfehlen !

Für mich die beste neapolitanische Pizza 🍕 Eigentlich mag ich lieber die traditionelle italienische Pizza. Aber hier bei diesem „Italiener“ bin ich wirklich angenehm überrascht worden. Die frisch zubereitete neapolitanische Version schmeckt hervorragend. Das Personal war mehr als aufmerksam!!!. Das Ambiente sehr gemütlich. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Pizza sehr lecker.... Service gut und freundlich... Wir saßen draußen und dort ist es so wie es ist.... Straße und Verkehr halt.

Angekommen im fast leeren Restaurant wurden wir schnell bedient, genauso schnell kamen die Getränken. Auf die Vorspeise (Bruschetta) musste man dann schon ca. 15 Minuten warten, zudem war dies eher wie ein tomatenbrot ohne Herz. Auf das restliche Essen durfte man dann ca.60 Minuten warten, die Lasagne leider komplett wässerig und kaum Gemüse vorhanden, Nudeln mit Trüffeln waren ok aber auch nicht das beste in Köln. Daher dass, viele Kommentare über die Bedienung herziehen werde ich genau das Gegenteil tun. Sehr nett und zuvorkommend, immer für Fragen offen und zuverlässig. Alle sagen das Essen war lecker doch die Wartezeit zu lange. Das essen war insgesamt eine 3/10 und die Wartezeit eine -1/10.

Die beste Pizzeria im Kölner Umkreis. Schöne Form und ein extrem leckerer Teig. Auch die Zutaten wirken alle super frisch und Runden die Gerichte perfekt ab.

Dieser Pizzateig ist 1+ mit ** Die Ausbildung beim Weltbesten Pizzabäcker, spiegelt sich in der mit Abstand rundesten Pizza Kölns wieder. Trotz des zerbrechen eines Tellers, wurde wir vom sehr netten Service Personal mit einem "Limoncello" verabschiedet. Auf den nächsten Teller..ähäm Pizza!!

Positive Kritik fällt ja bekanntlich immer kürzer aus als Kritik mit Beanstandungen und ich versuche es mal anders. ☺️ Ich war insgesamt 4 mal Gast und war mit den unterschiedlichen Gerichten sehr zufrieden. Meinen Geschmack trifft es. Es sind Kreative und gut angestimmte Zutaten die das Restaurant von anderen unterscheidet. Zum Service: Genau mein Geschmack! Humorvoll, teils sarkastisch mit einem Lächeln. Klar, muss man mögen aber ich meine beobachtet zu haben, dass sie dir Bedienung den Gästen anpasst. Ambiente gefällt mir gut - bis auf eine Wand. Da ich aber meist mit dem Rücken zu dieser sitze, ist es mir egal 🤷‍♂️ Preise: Kreativität und gute Zutaten kosten auch was mehr. Also aus meiner Sicht vollkommen in Ordnung. Publikum: Eine bunte Mischung bei der sich jeder wiederfinden kann. Ich werde auf jeden Fall gerne wiederkommen! Tipp: am Wochenende besser reservieren - sonst wäre ich bestimmt öfter da gewesen. Bin vom Typ her leider zu spontan 😆

Wir kamen 45 min vor dem Ladenschluss. Der junge Mann meinte das wir Zuspät sind und die Küche schon zu hat - obwohl man unschwer erkennen konnte, dass sie nicht zu hat. Dennoch kam ein Kunde nach uns und hat sein Essen bestellen können (dies konnte ich ebenso unschwer erkennen, da ich vor dem Laden noch genüsslich eine Zigarette geraucht habe).

Pizzateig war sehr gut, ebenfalls der Käse, der verwendet wird. Es mangelt lediglich an der Qualität der Salami. Das Restaurant ist gut gelegen. Jedoch keine/schwierige Parksituation. Tolles Ambiente.

Freundliche Bedienung und gute Pizza, nicht von Fett triefend und angemessen belegt. Gerne wieder.
