Schrecklicher Service! Unfreundliche Kellner, extrem hohe Preise und das Essen ist nichts Besonderes 🙁

Mein Besuch war leider nicht so wie erwartet. Die Trüffelpizza war sehr dünn, viel zu fettig und mit Trüffel wurde eher gespart. Außerdem wurden Getränke vergessen, mein Aperol kam ohne Eis. Besonders genervt hat mich, dass die Servietten so stark auf meine Hände abgefärbt haben – das sollte wirklich nicht passieren. Für diese Preise hätte ich deutlich mehr erwartet.

Weil man auf dem Weg von der Arbeit zurück nicht die angegebenen 35-40 Minuten einhalten kann schon komisch angeschaut werden - Antwort darauf, dass man aus Bonn gekommen ist war dann prompt und eindeutig: „Gibts in Bonn keine Restaurants?“ Dann für 17,90€ einen Salat anbieten, dessen Portionsgrösse die Gäste Fragen lässt, ob man ihn unterwegs schon gegessen habe - danke, das war das letzte Mal. Eine absolute Frechheit. Zudem noch die bestellte Pizza vergessen und einen zurück kommen lassen…

Leider hat man es in 25 Minuten im halb leeren Lokal nicht geschafft, einen Eisbecher zu servieren. Service Note 6

Das Essen war sehr lecker, das Dessert ebenfalls. Meine Pizza mit Aubergine und Zucchini war die Nummer 4 glaube ich und ich kann sie mit Herz empfehlen. Der Apfelstrudel war auch sehr gut. Die Bedienung war sehr schnell, bei Wind gibt es Decken. Ich komme immer wieder gerne zurück

Was für ein Idiot von Kellner! Mir hat's überhaupt nicht gefallen. Die Haut an den Schnitzeln war lose, und dafür zahlt man auch noch 32 Euro! Bezahlen war auch ein Albtraum; weder mein Freund noch ich konnten mit dem Handy bezahlen. Auch der Rückweg zum Auto, um eine Kreditkarte zu holen, hat nichts gebracht; das Problem war eindeutig seine Schuld. Wir sind eine halbe Stunde später gegangen, aber von einer Entschuldigung keine Spur… Ich komme da nicht wieder.

Nette Bedienung und das Essen war ganz okay.

Wir kamen her aufgrund der Empfehlung für Eggs Benedict von Köln mit Vergnügen. Leider wurde inzwischen die Karte geändert oder der Besitzer hat gewechselt. Das Essen sieht bei weitem nicht mehr so gut aus wie zuvor. Es ist sehr lieblos gestaltet und nichts besonderes (s. Fotos, Omelette mit Pilzen). Diese Rückmeldung haben wir auch so im Café kommuniziert.

Leider absolut keine Empfehlung. Hier scheinen auch neue Pächter zu sein !!! Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants wurden wir zunächst komplett ignoriert. Die Speisekarten wirkten unprofessionell – in meiner Karte waren handschriftlich Änderungen eingetragen. Nachdem wir um eine neue Karte gebeten hatten, wurde zwar die Bestellung aufgenommen, aber die Preise stehen in keinerlei Verhältnis zur Qualität. Ich habe zur Sicherheit ein einfaches Nudelgericht mit Gambas bestellt – für stolze 24,90 €. Auf dem Teller lagen gerade einmal vier offensichtlich tiefgekühlte Gambas. Aufgrund der ohnehin schon sehr hohen Preise haben wir bewusst auf Vorspeisen verzichtet. Das Essen selbst war geschmacklich extrem fad. Als wir zunächst nach Parmesan gefragt wurden, lehnten wir ab. Wegen des geschmacklosen Essens wollte ich später dann doch etwas Parmesan dazu – und dabei fiel sofort auf, dass der Löffel im Parmesanbehälter völlig speckig war. Kurz darauf sahen wir den Schimmel im Parmesan. Absolut unappetitlich. Das Essen wurde zwar neu gemacht, allerdings wurden einfach die bereits servierten Gambas vom alten Teller wieder auf das neue Gericht gelegt – unfassbar. Damit war der Abend leider noch nicht vorbei: Plötzlich hatten wir schwarze Finger und bemerkten, dass auch Mund und Lippen schwarz verfärbt waren. Ursache waren offenbar die Servietten, die extrem abgefärbt haben. Die Kellnerin war immerhin bemüht und freundlich, deshalb gibt es überhaupt noch einen Stern. Der ältere Herr, vermutlich der Restaurantleiter, zeigte hingegen keinerlei Interesse oder Einsicht. Keine Entschuldigung, kein freundliches Wort – das Essen wurde wortlos hingestellt und selbst beim Bezahlen hatte man eher das Gefühl, man sei unerwünscht. Für die aufgerufenen Preise erwartet man zumindest Hygiene, Qualität und professionellen Service. Schimmeliges Essen, abgefärbte Servietten und ein desinteressierter Restaurantleiter sind für uns absolut inakzeptabel.

Ich war früher öfters dort und es war ok.. Heute 20 Minuten kein Service in Sicht und dann kam sie aber nicht zu mir. Dabei hatte ich Hunger.. zum Glück gibt’s bessere 100 Meter weiter.. jetzt weiß ich warum die Terrasse leer war

Das Eiscafé ist wirklich schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Leider war der Service enttäuschend. Die Mitarbeiterin war sehr langsam, sodass wir über 20 Minuten auf einfache Eiskugeln warten mussten. Letztendlich sind wir aufgestanden und gegangen, weil es uns zu lange gedauert hat. Schade, denn das Ambiente hat uns eigentlich gut gefallen.

Möchtegern Schicki-Micki Italiener. Teuer und das Essen durchschnittlich. Rodenkirchen halt. Aber man kann schön am Platz draußen sitzen.

Das Eis ist wirklich gut, der Service leider schlecht. Oft wird man ignoriert. Heute war es besonders traurig, da wir im halb leeren Restaurant nicht sitzen durften. Zunächst hiess es sei reserviert (obwohl nirgends Schildchen standen). Dann stellte sich heraus, es lag daran, dass wir "nur Eis und Getränke" zu uns nehmen wollten. Hierzu darf man anscheinend nicht gemütlich sitzen, ausser vorne im vollen Bereich mit Sitzhöckern. Sehr traurig. Wir sind wieder gegangen.

Arroganter Service. Meine Schwiegermutter war zu Besuch in Köln und wir wollten das schöne Wetter am Maternusplatz genießen. Die Kellnerin war von Anfang an genervt und hat direkt gefragt ob wir was Essen möchten, bevor wir uns setzen durften. Angemerkt die Terasse war leer. Wir haben gesagt wir schauen, und haben uns für ein Gericht entschieden. Die Kellnerin rollte mit den Augen. Es hat sich angefühlt als wäre sie gezwungen uns zu bedienen. So geht man nicht mit Kunden um. Dieses Verhalten wiederholte sich bei jedem Gespräch mit ihr. Das Essen war lecker, das Ambiente auch. Aber der Service leider eine Katastrophe.

Wir waren schon in der Vergangenheit einige Mal hier essen aber irgendwas muss sich in den letzten Jahren geändert haben. Das Carpaccio meiner Frau kam erst auf Nachfrage 15 später wie meines. Aus Höflichkeit habe ich gewartet und als es meiner Frau reserviert wurde sah es nicht im entferntesten so aus wie meins. Kein Rucola und das Öl war ein anderes wie meins. Meins konnte man essen (3) das meiner Frau war ungenießbar (glatte 6). Selbst der Kellner meinte sieht komisch bei ihnen aus. Da fragt man sich, warum sieht er das nicht bevor er es serviert. Das Carpaccio meiner Frau mussten wir auch nicht zahlen. Meine Pizza war sehr dünn aber ok (3) die Nudeln meiner Frau waren sehr bissfest 🤣(5). Meine Frau hat zum Schluss eigentlich so gut wie nichts gegessen. Auch die Nudeln gingen zu 3/4 wieder zurück. Preis abzüglich Carpaccio lag bei 75,00 €. , was ok war. Jedoch die Qualität war eher schlecht. Die Zubereitung war eine Zumutung und sehr enttäuschend. Ich bin nur ehrlich und übertreibe nicht. Ich möchte dem Restaurant auch nicht schaden aber es wäre gut hier dringend dran zu arbeiten. Jedes L Osteria ist ein Geinschmeck-Restaurant gegen dieses Erlebnis. Ich habe mich den ganzen Abend darüber aufgeregt. Die Bauchschmerzen die wir beide noch hatten und noch dazu kamen und Fenchel behandelt werden musst, unterstützten natürlich unseren Eindruck. Wirklich sehr schade und im Augenblick nicht zu empfehlen.

Ich treffe mich regelmäßig mit einer Freundin dort. Wir finden das Frühstück und Mittagessen sehr lecker. Nettes Ambiente.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker .Service perfekt!Aber der Preis wenn man versucht von Pommes auf Nudeln umzugestalten ist einfach unverschämt. Ich persönlich bin in ganz Deutschland unterwegs und habe so etwas noch nie erlebt.

Guten Tag, trotz Mehrwertsteuersenkung von 19% auf 7% wurde die Steuerermässigung nicht an die Preisliste weitergeleitet. Auch nicht ansatzweise. Dass gehört sich nicht. Diese Steuerersparnis wird von uns allen, welche Steuer zahlen, mitgetragen. Schämt euch.

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at the Palladium restaurant in Rodenkirchen. A few days ago, I was there with a friend, and we sat on the terrace to have a coffee. Despite making eye contact with the server, we weren't served at all. This isn't an isolated incident, unfortunately—I've experienced this behavior on several occasions. It's noticeable that this happened every time the female servers were on duty. This kind of treatment of guests is disrespectful and unprofessional. You simply feel ignored and unwelcome. It's a real shame, because the restaurant's location is actually lovely—but the service ruins everything.

Even a simple Caesar salad was very bad. The bruschetta was… let’s say a very creative interpretation. It was a good place in the past but now it isn’t at all.

The food is good. The service is friendly, but sometimes a bit slow. It's very noisy inside. Nice large terrace.

Everything was fine. But at 9:20 p.m. all the table lamps were removed – even at our table, although we were still sitting there. Several other tables were also occupied. You can't just remove decorations like that!

We had reserved a table for breakfast. Unfortunately, we then discovered that the (extensive) breakfast menu still listed on the website had been replaced by a new, very limited one. Since we didn't fancy grilled toast, we went to Epi's around the corner.

Disgusting. This is supposed to be a Wiener Schnitzel. 28.50 euros. It wasn't a schnitzel, but thick pieces of pork with inedible meat. Pure tourist trap.

Unfriendly welcome. We had a table reservation. The waiter simply pointed to a table in the far corner of the restaurant. Next to us sat guests who were obviously drunk and had arrived after us, already intoxicated. They were talking loudly on their cell phones and filming us. A disaster!!! The food was served rudely, and the cooking oil was rancid!!! The waiter also had language difficulties. Palladio used to be better, but now it's at rock bottom!!! Not recommended!!!

Unfortunately, the coffee wasn't anything special for the price…

The first impression of the restaurant is very good: a large, well-designed bar and counter, creating an open and spacious feel. The welcome from the waiter was also friendly. Unfortunately, things got more difficult afterward: Ordering proved difficult, probably due to a language barrier. Then, when distributing the finished dishes, there was a mix-up. The meal itself was quite decent, but a bit too rich for me. When paying, there were separate bills for food and drinks!?! Cash only!?! The event ended at 10 p.m.!?! Oh well...

I love coming here, with friends and family alike. We appreciate the friendly service and the excellent food. Unfortunately, my stomach is too small for all the delicacies. Thank you for the wonderful time every time. Of course, I'd love to come back 🤗

The pizza was okay. The fries were a disaster. Both were delivered lukewarm.

We came here again after 13 years, and the food was an absolute disaster. I haven't had such bad food for this price in a long time. It's absolutely outrageous. The restrooms are terrible. The server was very friendly, which is unfortunately the only positive thing I can say about this restaurant. I can only advise everyone to steer clear of this place.

Dining as a family with three adults, two pizzas arrived reasonably well (40 minutes). The third pizza was forgotten. After everyone else had eaten, the third pizza arrived, uncooked and out of the oven too early, returned, and served again. Aside from a verbal apology from the waitress, this is a sign of a lack of customer service. I'm expected to pay full price for at least a third of the service. - Terrible. - Not recommended.

We wanted to eat there, but the service was very unfriendly. The price was completely overpriced...the milkshake was tasteless, too expensive, and again, very unfriendly. When preparing the food, the packaging isn't opened with scissors or a knife, but rather put in the mouth and torn open with the teeth...really delicious.

I ordered spaghetti Bolognese (€16.90). The pasta wasn't al dente, not at all... The sauce, as always at almost every Italian restaurant in Germany, was a disaster. Too many tomatoes, the vegetables (carrots, celery, etc.) not chopped enough, it didn't taste like Bolognese because it lacked the bitter taste (e.g., chicken liver), and the whole thing wasn't spicy at all. It was a sauce you could have made better at home without paying €16.90.

A lovely restaurant located right on Maternussplatz in the heart of Rodenkirchen. In the summer, the ambiance is very pleasant for outdoor seating. It's very loud inside when it's full, making it difficult to have a conversation. The food is okay but nothing outstanding. The prices are a bit high for the mediocre quality of the food, in my opinion, which is obviously due to the ambiance. All in all, a nice place for occasional get-togethers, but not for a candlelit dinner.

It was our first time there. The wait for the food seemed a bit long. The food was quite good, but the price is definitely too high. A modest tiramisu for €10 is a hefty price tag. Service was friendly.

Unfortunately, our visit to Palladio was anything but enjoyable. The dishes we were looking forward to were below the taste and quality of what we would expect from an Italian restaurant. We were particularly negatively affected by the service: long wait times, a lack of oversight within the team, and several times we had to actively ask to be served. We find the restaurant's handling of criticism even more worrying. Friends have told us that negative reviews were reported and deleted by the restaurant – allegedly for legal reasons. We are therefore also considering making our experience public, as the impression is that this place is trying to suppress critical voices instead of addressing legitimate criticism. This place may have been popular in Rodenkirchen in the past – but things have changed significantly since then. It's a shame about its potential, but we won't be coming back.

We recently ate at the Palladio in Rodenkirchen and were unfortunately very dissatisfied. The food didn't impress us in terms of taste or quality. The service was noticeably slow, and we had to call for a waiter several times – the team seemed inattentive and overwhelmed. This made our entire stay unpleasantly long. What's particularly irritating to us: We've heard from friends several times that the restaurant is apparently trying to have critical reviews removed – accusing them of defamation. A friend of mine also had his objectively worded, negative review deleted. This unfortunately doesn't reflect well on how the restaurant handles feedback. Especially because we're from Rodenkirchen, it's a shame to see how a formerly popular restaurant has declined so sharply – both in terms of food and in its handling of criticism. If this review is also removed without a comprehensible reason, we reserve the right to take legal action. Conclusion: The visit was disappointing. Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend the Palladio.

No, you have to wait a long time if you want to pay. They're not cheap either. The toilets need a good cleaning, and a new toilet seat in the women's restroom would be nice, too.

We had a "Goodbye" breakfast for a friend. There were 14 of us. The waitress was excellent and managed this large group extremely well. 👏🏻👏🏻

We were greeted upon arrival and were free to choose our table outside. However, we then sat for around 20 minutes without anyone approaching us. Only after we had made our presence known did a service person come. Overall, the service was still not attentive. The food wasn't convincing either - nothing special in terms of taste. In our opinion, service and quality of the food are not in harmony. The stylish interior design should be highlighted positively, but it does not significantly improve the overall impression. The service should be improved and more attentive. Other people who have already visited the restaurant also write this. We won't be coming back.

Super hip restaurant. Food super tasty. Service from the young, friendly waitress was as you would expect, always attentive and very, very polite. Excellent Italian restaurant/café on a large square in Rodenkirchen. The terrace is large and cozy. You can eat pizzas, pasta and meat dishes here. There is also a good wine list with plenty of choice!

If you are looking for authentic cuisine in the Palladio restaurant, then "WE" were out of place today! The service was a complete zero!! The oil bottle that was handed to us too!! We are extremely disappointed! We really wish the Palladio team a ❤️ recovery!!

The restaurant is very nice. The service was very friendly and attentive. Very good service! Unfortunately one of two pasta dishes was only lukewarm but otherwise good. The selection of food and drinks is well chosen. I can also recommend the breakfast. And the location is perfect (right on Maternusplatz).

If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine, the Café Palladio restaurant is highly recommended! This wonderful Italian restaurant has everything your heart desires - from the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the exquisite dishes that we enjoy again and again! Ambiance: The restaurant exudes a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The decor is tastefully chosen and the service creates a friendly atmosphere that makes the experience even better. Food: The real highlight of the evening, however, is the food. Every bite is a delight! All main courses tried so far offer a perfect balance between fresh and high-quality ingredients. But it's not just the main courses that are a delight - the starters and desserts are also excellent. Service: The staff is extremely attentive, friendly and knows their way around the menu. The recommendations were always to the point and you could feel that the work here was done with passion and dedication.

It's a shame, unfortunately we weren't served here twice. Although at 4 p.m. I was sitting alone on the terrace. Well visible. Everything else is actually good here.

Very tasty food. The pizza and the crepe taste best

It was our first time here and the service was very friendly. Our meals were prepared very tasty. Our drinks were quickly at the table. All in all, we were very satisfied and are already looking forward to the next time.

We had 2 different pasta dishes. However, both dishes had the same sauce. There were mushrooms in one. It still tasted good but we were a bit surprised. The service was mixed.

Unfortunately, the first impression we had some time ago, which was entirely positive, could not be confirmed on our last visit. The service was simply overwhelmed, but still friendly. This suggests that it is not the staff, but the management. In a restaurant that charges such high prices, the service should be excellent. We'll be happy to be convinced otherwise, because the food is really good (kudos to the kitchen).

Tasty but very expensive for what you get. Service varies. From totally unfriendly to very nice (in the coffee area).

The food and deserts are really good for the price. But for the staff cant say the same. Except the lady welcomes at the door rest of them are with extreme make-up and bad attitude, almost offensive. Tough to find a parking space around though. Just to keep in mind.

Very strange breakfast menu, only eggs (organic after all) in countless variations. Not even croissants, bread or anything similar. Vegetarians and vegans can find almost nothing.

Nice, good service. Good value for money for Rodenkirchen. A nice large terrace, and there is enough space between the tables inside so you can enjoy your stay.

We were there with a registered larger group. One waiter seemed to be responsible for the entire large restaurant and was completely overwhelmed. Some of the group waited half an hour until they got a drink, the others waited over an hour for food, which came when the first ones had already finished eating. But it was extremely expensive! A 0.4l apple spritzer costs €6.70!!! The ambience and food quality were nice and good. Nevertheless: never again.

Übel! Ewige Wartezeiten, unverschämtes Personal, Minimalportionen zu irren Preisen. Ich war fasziniert, das so schlechte Restaurants existieren.

Very nice restaurant, stopped by spontaneously after a stroll. It wasn't too crowded and the service was quick and friendly. We had fish soup and bruschetta, portion sizes quite suitable for the main course and very tasty

Spaghetti aglio e olio nach der neuen Karte (ohnehin schon weniger Zutaten, aber teurer): lauwarm aufgewärmte (im Nachhinhein nach meiner Beschwerde bestätigt), labbrige Spaghetti, etwas Öl und Ecken von gefrorenem Spinat mit Käse. Knoblauch? Fehlanzeige! Diesen Küchenabfall bekam ich nach 70 Minuten Wartezeit allen Ernstes serviert - ungenießbar! Ein alternatives Angebot? Nein, das hat man hier nicht nötig. Die Vorspeise wurde noch schnell nachbestellt und kam zeitgleich mit durchschnittlichen Pizzen, nachdem erst ein nicht bestellter Burger serviert werden sollte. Der Kellner fand uns zunächst nicht für die Getränke. Das Wasser war mit statt ohne Kohklensäure. Die Begründung für eine so lange Wartezeit, so schlechtes Essen und schlechten Service, es sei zu voll, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, da wir reserviert hatten und man gleichzeitg Gäste an anderen Tischen bedienen konnte und Pizza to go für die Polizei aushändigte. So stellt man sich die typische Touristenfalle vor.

Very nice and friendly service. Vitello Tonato very tasty but also very clear. Ambiance is nice but unfortunately also very loud.

Seit Jahren war ich Gast des Palladios, aber dies hat jetzt ein Ende. Die Preise sind mittlerweile inakzeptabel, 8 Euro für eine Flasche Wasser ist unverschämt. Die Karte wurde verkleinert, die Qualität ist dramatisch gesunken, jetzt muss man 4,50 € für 4 Scheiben Brot bezahlen, das gab es jahrelang kostenlos vorab. Die Toilletten war noch nie berauschend aber heute war der Wasserhahn defekt und es gibt kein Papier , unzumutbar. Man munkelt,es hat einen Besitzerwechsel gegeben, das frühere Personal ist jedenfalls nicht mehr da. Schade, früher war es nett und lecker, jetzt ist es überteuert und massig.

Catastrophic! Expensive and absolutely not worth it. We were seven. The service was friendly, but not very competent. Half of the menu wasn't available (fish and seafood). After 1.5 hours the Wsswn was served. The rump steak for just under €40 was totally tasteless and with frozen fries, the mushroom ragout was very simple. Way too expensive. The table was not cleared when dessert was served. There was a fly stuck to the wine glass and the glass was also dirty. Bread crumbs from the bread basket were spilled onto the table. Just catastrophic. Never again!!! We spent a total of just under €350.

Moderate service and mediocre food. Clean toilets and clean guest room with comfortable furniture.

The atmosphere was very pleasant - neither too loud nor too quiet, with good lighting creating a relaxed mood. The food was solid. However, it was a bit expensive relative to the quality. The service was rather unusual: the waitress asked directly for a tip. Unfortunately I couldn't give one as the service was significantly affected by the lack of staff and the large number of guests.

Hallo,ich habe mein ganzes Leben noch nie so schlecht gegessen,meine,Freundin hat dies genau so empfunden . Als wir unser Ärger vorgebracht haben.wurde uns gesagt sozusagen selbst schuld, sie haben es ja gegessen. Stimmt haben wir uns ist beide schlecht. I was here for the third time because of the beautiful and large outdoor area, but unfortunately it was probably the last time. Each time I had to wait a noticeably long time to be served, and each time the service wasn't particularly friendly or attentive. For me, with the prices not exactly cheap, good service is a must - what a shame!

Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the best dish: The Polipissimo (Octopus Bruschetta) was a blast 👍👏🤩; So tasty and the combination of ingredients is simply brilliant! The marinated vegetables and the pizza verdura were also very tasty, the calzone was nice and crispy, but seasoned a bit boringly. The service was very nice and it's nice to be able to sit outside! We were very satisfied and are already looking forward to the next time!
