Nice ambience, delicious food, great outdoor terrace and a great view ✌

The restaurant overlooks a lake and has a beautiful, friendly dining room and a large outdoor terrace and winter garden. The service is good, friendly and fast, at least in the dining room outside of the beer garden season. The antipasti platters are recommended, as are the salmon salad and the pollo al forno. The spaghetti with tomato sauce is also very tasty. As is the case everywhere in the catering industry, the prices are very high, but still within reasonable limits. We paid 75 euros for two people with drinks. All in all, recommended.

I always enjoy going there. No matter whether breakfast or dinner. The location, the service and the food are top!

The Mezzomar in Duisburg offers a wonderful combination of delicious food, stylish ambience and attentive service. As soon as you enter the restaurant you feel welcome. The modern yet cozy atmosphere creates the ideal setting for a relaxing evening. The menu offers a varied selection of Mediterranean dishes that are freshly prepared. The service is attentive and friendly. Another highlight is the beautiful terrace with a view of the water. Especially on warm days it is a pleasure to sit there and enjoy the food. Absolute recommendation for everyone who loves Mediterranean cuisine in a stylish ambience.

Food could be better. Tasteless and boring.

Unfortunately, from the food to the general service, it was an absolute disaster. At first we stood like stupid in the waiting area without any of the countless employees speaking to us. We couldn't sit outside because everything was full - it wasn't possible to move afterwards, otherwise "everything would get mixed up" - so you either sit inside or go home. We didn't like the food at all. We both had the veal schnitzel with fries and salad. The schnitzel looked like a ready-made schnitzel from the discount store. Above all There were two small schnitzels each - I've never seen anything like that with a real veal schnitzel before. Taste wise it was also a disappointment. The fries were the same - just two handfuls of which were slapped onto the plate. Despite the dressing, the salad didn't taste like anything. After we had drinks and food we were no longer noticed. We weren't asked if we wanted anything else. This didn't even happen after our dishes were cleared away. In a good restaurant you will be asked for a coffee, dessert or something similar. asked - unfortunately not available in the Mezzomar. We also had to ask for the bill several times. In total we waited about 30 minutes for the bill without anyone being interested. Finally, the waiter asked for the bill, threw it on the table and waited patiently to build up pressure for us to tip. Only the ambience is pleasant. Kindly, a bowl of water was brought to our dogs immediately after we sat down. One star for that. We're definitely not coming back.

Very nice restaurant, good food

Very large restaurant, well attended. We wouldn't choose this location for a romantic candlelight dinner ;-) The service was friendly and attentive, and the selection on the menu was varied. We were impressed by the presentation and quality of the food. When the weather is good, it is certainly very nice to sit on the terrace by the lake.

We celebrated our wedding there and it was the best location for it. The food and service deserve 10 out of 5 stars. You are in great hands there and Daniel ensures that the planning is completely stress-free. All questions are always answered and everything is taken care of, so you can simply celebrate without any worries. I would choose the location again and again. P.S. Great location in a top location.. Very good menu.. Something for every taste... Aaabut... I ordered a pizza with peppers and onions and it was a disaster. No trace of peppers or onions... A margarita plus... Unfortunately, savings were made at the wrong end... That's why only three ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service is always very friendly...

We arrived there spontaneously one weekday evening at 9 o'clock. Even though the kitchen closes at 9 a.m., we were able to order our food.

The food menu is manageable, which reflects the quality. This means the focus is on the individual dish.

So far I've been to Mezzomar more often, although I've found it quite expensive for a while now (e.g. salad for €19). However, we were dissatisfied for the third time in a row. Once I ordered a non-alcoholic shandy and got one with alcohol, I once got spaghetti carbonara, which was far too peppery in contrast to previous experiences and today the pasta in both pasta dishes was more than al dente, in dish 1 the edge of the goat cheese was far too hard , in dish 2 (Tagliatelle al salmone) the amount of salmon was significantly reduced compared to many previous times. Service was also rather difficult. The food was cleared away without asking whether it was tasty. When I called the waiter again to point out the points of criticism, also in view of the fact that the quality of the food had decreased and the price-performance ratio was no longer right, I was told that I could write a review. Mmh, in my opinion that's not the way to deal with feedback like that. I then asked if I could please pass on the criticism. But I am now following the recommendation to write a review that is no longer good. We won't come back again.

Courteous service, unfortunately a bit overwhelmed at times. The Gnocchi Genovese were very tasty, although very garlic-laden. However, the Salami Italiano pizza was disappointing. Size is very very good but taste is okay. The cheese was very salty and the salami didn't taste like anything, unfortunately miles away from Italiano.

The food is okay, the price is not. You get two small slices of bread extra for 2 euros. If you want your food spicy: 1.50 euros. Pizza will soon be 20 euros. Completely overpriced. It's a nice place to sit and there's loud techno music coming from next door. Never again.

The food when a waiter comes and serves you is delicious. The portions are very large and tasty. The conditions leave something to be desired, it takes a long time for someone to get the drinks and then it usually takes even longer before you can order something to eat. The employees are rarely friendly or attentive If you sit outside you have a nice view of the regatta track, but inside the atmosphere is rather loud and restless

The waiters were all super nice, the drinks and food came super quickly. We had a nice seat and the food tasted fantastic. We would love to come back.

It was a pleasant atmosphere even though it was quite crowded outside. The service was quick and friendly.

The food was very tasty, we had Bruscetta as a starter and Piazza Semu A Mari and Fritto Di Calamari & Gamberi. The food and drinks came quickly, the service was okay, but still had potential. The ambience in the Seehaus is great, but you sit tight and involuntarily witness what is being said at the next table.

Wer Nudeln in pampiger Sauce mag, ist hier richtig, vor allem, wenn es richtig teuer sein soll. Zum 2. Mal wurde ich enttäsucht, als ich es noch mal hier im Mezzomar versuchte. Wieder klang es toll, was in der Karte stand, aber die Ausführung war mangelhaft. Statt freundlicher Entschuldigung reagierte die Bedienung pampig.

Delicious breakfast. After the Corona break, breakfast à la carte will be offered again. The "Stulle" turned out to be white bread, but was generously topped with an omelet, and we ate deliciously again, just like 5 years ago. Like everywhere else, prices have risen here too. Why only 4 stars for the ambience? There are ashtrays on the covered terrace. Smoking should only be allowed on the open terrace.

The ambience on the terrace is simply breathtakingly beautiful. There are also many shady places. Unfortunately, the Pamcekes were very compact and the “fruit” was very clear. The sandwich was very tasty. The service was super friendly

So really bad breakfast. We wait 45min for this… only the bread and the eggs needs to be cooked… its not acceptable to wait 45min for this. And each plate cost 13€. So expensive for this. And also in my dish, they forgot to put the schincken. At least for breakfast, I dont recommend this place at all.

Sehr gute Auswahl der Speisen auf der Speisekarte. Freundliches Personal. Die bestellten Antipasti waren sehr lecker. Nudeln, Pizza und die bestellten Salate wirklich schmackhaft. Die Auswahl an Wein könnte etwas besser sein. Die Preise für das Essen sind angemessen, jedoch für Getränke überzogen. Das scheint mittlerweile üblich zu sein……Insgesamt kommen wir sehr gerne wieder.

Moderate salad: too much lettuce, some corn, 3-4 quartered mushrooms and a few strips of steak, simple yogurt dressing. That was nothing for just under 19 euros. Staff overwhelmed: sparkling water instead of still water, 1L of wine instead of 0.5L of wine were brought. There were also complaints about a forgotten meal at the next table. A beer was on the house for the bad salad.

Positiv: Schöner Laden, tolle Lage, generell freundliche Bedienung und leckere Getränke. Negativ: Die Nudeln Arrabiata meiner Freundin waren sehr al denke (zu fest) und die Sosse wohl leider kein bisschen scharf. Mein Hähnchenfleisch mit zwei Tomatenscheiben und Käse überbacken schmeckte ungewürzt. Die Rosmarinkartoffeln waren ölig, schmeckten nicht nach Rosmarin und hatten so gar keinen Geschmack. Die Salatbeilage sah optisch gut aus. Jedoch muss die Salatschale schon sehr lange herumgestanden haben, denn die Gurke, die Tomate sowie Möhren waren sehr trocken und das Dressing war nach ganz unten versackert. Schade, Zuhause hätte man die beiden Essen selber wohl besser hinbekommen! Und jetzt das Schlimmste: Als der Kellner unsere Bestellung erfragen wollte, baten wir noch um ein wenig Zeit zum Entscheiden und meine Freundin hatte eine Frage zu einem Dipp auf der Karte. Sie wollte wissen, was das genau für ein Dipp sei. Er antwortete so etwas in der Art wie:" Ach, wisst Ihr was? Ich kann Euch gerne mal ein bisschen von dem Dipp mit ein wenig Brot bringen. Dann könnt Ihr den ja probieren und habt direkt was zu Knabbern, bis Ihr Euch entschieden habt!" Das fanden wir total nett. Wir freuten uns über diese Geste und bedanken uns herzlich dafür. Der Dipp hatte geschmeckt. Jedoch war das Brot (4 halbe, dicke Scheiben) am Rand schon recht verbrannt. Kurz darauf kam es anscheinend zum Schichtwechsel. Unser ursprünglicher Kellner wünschte noch einen schönen Abend und dann begrüßte uns der neue Kellner. Irgendwann baten wir um die Rechnung. Auf der Rechnung standen dann überraschend auch 7,50 Euro für den Probierteller Dipp mit dem Brot . Der Kellner bemerkte unsere Verwirrung darüber und fragte nach, ob wir das denn nicht bestellt hätten? Nach einer kurzen, verdutzten Pause antwortete ich:" Na ja, man hatte uns den Teller halt hierhin gestellt..." Er realisierte, dass da was komisch war und erliess uns 1,50 oder 2,50 Euro. Da hat uns der erste Kellner ja ganz schön reingelegt gehabt. Das ist echt ein absolutes No-Go für uns!

So it was delicious, the shop was very full, in my opinion not enough staff, after waiting 30 minutes for the plates to be cleared, unfortunately no one came. I actually wanted another espresso but no one came. Then I got up and paid at the front, as I said everything was great except the service. ( UNFORTUNATELY )

Zwei von drei Gerichten waren richtig schlecht. Wir hatten einen Curry Hähnchen Nudelgericht mit ungelösten Currypulver, eine sehr trockene Spaghetti Carbonara mit Fett anstatt Fleisch und eine passable Lasagne (deshalb 2 Sterne anstatt 1) . Mit einem Fanta, einem Aperolspritz, einem Glas Weißwein & einem 0,7l Wasser war der Spaß auch teuer - €88. Wirklich nicht zu empfehlen.

Das Essen war ein Traum. Der Kellner bzw alle Kellner sind seeeeehr freundlich und sehr höflich. Der Kellner der für unseren Tisch zuständig war, hat immer wieder gefragt ob alles ok ist und ob wir noch wünsche haben. Das Restaurante bekommt von mir 5 von 5 Sterne. Besser kann ein Abend nicht sein. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder. Sogar unsere 2 Hunde durften mit kommen wir saßen draußen auf der Terasse .
