Really nice Italian restaurant The menu is small, but with good ingredients The service was the nicest and the best, honestly - for that I would go back The entries were alright, but not crazy good in my opinion (but maybe it was because of the choice we made) The ravioli were amazing The pasta with truffle was a spectacle... But I think it was a bit "too liquid the sauce" for me. But good taste The vegan pasta was a bit "boring or plane" Nevertheless, I would go back to eat a really good pasta dish!

It's actually just a delivery service. Dine-in is only available to a limited extent.

Of course, before a Champions League it was relatively difficult to find a restaurant near the stadium that wasn't fully reserved. Nevertheless, with a bit of luck we managed to find Il Tappo. That was definitely the best decision of the day. An incredibly inviting, stylish and beautiful atmosphere. The waiters very friendly. We were served relatively quickly. As a starter there was bruschetta. By far the best I've had in a long time. Very well seasoned, perfect texture of the bread. The grated Parmesan also harmonized perfectly. The pizzas were also very good. The salmon is very tasty and ideal in combination with the spinach and garlic. Need for repetition. We also had dessert which was incredibly delicious. Puff pastry with red fruits and a cream filling. Highly recommended. On my next visit to Dortmund I will definitely pay another visit to Il Tappo.

The pizza was delivered on time BUT the pizzas were eclick. It was very wet and the cheese was disgusting. You couldn't even pick up the pizza, it just fell apart. The pizza was just runny. I had a caprese and maybe it got wet because of the tomatoes, which is still no excuse, but the other was a four cheese pizza and why it was so runny only God knows. Conclusion: Delivery was ok, but pizza was unacceptable.

After 40 years as a regular customer with consistently positive experiences regarding quality and friendliness, I unfortunately realized that the change of ownership resulted in a significant decline in both the quality of the food (charred lasagna – it happens) and the tone of the conversation (the "lady" was unfriendly and arrogant – that should never happen). You won't see me or my friends there again!!!

Excellent, top-quality food; you can feel that everything is made with love, as is typical in Italy. Even some Italian restaurants could learn a thing or two from this. I'm in Italy every week and can judge this very well. Thank you very much Andreas and Gabriele

Disappointing and disrespectful – absolutely not recommended! We had reserved a table at this restaurant for a very special occasion – our civil wedding. The reservation was even confirmed over the phone, including our explicit request for a quiet seat by the window. But when we arrived, our reservation seemed to be completely irrelevant. We were simply told to sit anywhere there was space – no sign of the promised table! When we asked, we were simply offered to wait until a seat by the window became available. This is not only poor service, but an absolute disgrace! Why does this restaurant even accept reservations if they then don't honor them? Our evening was ruined because finding an alternative at short notice was almost impossible. This is no way to treat guests – especially not when it comes to special occasions. If you value reliability, service, and hospitality, you should avoid this restaurant!

The food was very good. I had pizza, which was plentiful, crispy, and the vegetables were fresh. The service was very good; all in all, a pleasant lunch.
