The food was very good, and so was the service. However, the noise from the surrounding tables was very loud, and my tinnitus flared up, which was very unpleasant. Unfortunately, I had to leave the company Christmas party early. If you don't have tinnitus problems, you can manage it.

It was alright, the waiters just didn't realize that a speech was being given and interrupted it twice. But hey, busy guys, always hustling, so all good.

Eines der besten Restaurants mit Ital. Küche in Dortmund. Man sollte lediglich ein bis zwei Tage vorher reservieren sonst bekommt man kein Bein an die Erde. Gibt auch alles zum Mitnehmen. Preise sind für die gebotene Qualität auch vollkommen ok.

Far too loud, and if you can't sit in a cozy corner, the doors that are across the room are regularly opened, leaving you sitting in a draft.

My visit today was a truly special culinary experience: Trattoria da Nino in Dortmund impresses with its excellent food, authentic atmosphere, and exceptionally friendly team. Michele and Chef Da Nino deserve special praise – attentive, warm, and always with a smile. Open kitchen, exquisite flavors, and impeccable service – it doesn't get much better than this. Only 2 stars 😞 I tried to reserve a table by phone a week in advance, but was told they don't reserve tables before 5 pm. I explicitly mentioned that we intended to do more than just eat; we planned to stay longer that evening. The owner himself replied that it wouldn't be a problem at all and we didn't need to reserve a table. Yesterday, we arrived at 3 pm and were told we could choose our own table. We picked a nice one without a reservation sign. At 5 pm, we were asked if we were finished because our table was reserved. When we said no, we were still asked to leave and had to move to a bar table. This was very inconveniently located, half in the way, and I was bumped into several times by the server without a single apology. When an elderly woman with a walker had to get through, the server very roughly pushed me halfway off my chair, trapping my foot. Although I cried out, again there was no apology. Yes, it was Saturday night and yes, the place was packed, but that's no excuse for treating customers like that. Unfortunately, I was also very disappointed with the quality of the pizza, especially considering the exorbitant price. I was a regular customer for years back in the '90s, but after yesterday's unpleasant experience, I won't be going back.

A lovely Italian restaurant in a beautiful location with ample parking. The food was delicious, the portion size was perfect, and the service was friendly and attentive. The price was right, and we felt very comfortable. I would recommend it.

Everything was actually very nice and delicious. There was just a bit of a lack of space. I had to keep making room when the waiter came or someone wanted to come after me.

Terrible food, average service, pizza with mushrooms that looked like they were canned, cannelloni so cooked it looked like it was fused with the spinach and ricotta, a terrible experience for 50 euros.

Back after 10 years (due to moving to Münsterland), and once again impressed. The restaurant was packed – so there's really nothing to say about the quality and taste – outstanding! And the staff are super friendly and very attentive. You definitely feel welcome here. All in all, a solid 1. And for the first time in a pizzeria, a little garlic was really a little – very good 👍. We'll be back very soon ☺️

A good Italian trattoria in Dortmund. The conchiglie with mushrooms and octopus were very good! The warm bread was delicious... the service was attentive and fast. The other dish was the burrata with scampi. Everything was good.

It was very loud and hectic during our visit to the restaurant. About 30 minutes passed between the starter and the main course – unfortunately, too long. The pizza we ordered had a very dry base and edges that hadn't risen – also too hard. Our pasta dish was lukewarm at first (it was then reheated), but as a result, we didn't eat together. The dish that was served didn't match the description on the menu. Of course, we gave feedback. The staff simply said the chef wasn't in the restaurant and nothing could be done. We won't be coming back...

It's always a pleasure to stop by Nino and his team. Italian delicacies prepared with love and served by cheerful staff. We're happy to have found our regular Italian restaurant in Dortmund.

The food was truly delicious. The waiters and servers were extremely friendly! The restaurant was beautifully decorated and cozy. Drinks were a bit overpriced, though. The heat and humidity inside were truly unpleasant. Air conditioning would probably be better. Especially since the open kitchen is located in the corner of the dining area. This, of course, makes it even hotter. The poor waiters.

I went there yesterday, spontaneously, for the first time with eight people. We received a very friendly welcome. The atmosphere was very harmonious. The staff and the chef are very personable. They even joke around and the food was a delight for everyone! I can only say: I'll be back!

We were here today and it was delicious. Both the cannelloni and the pizza, which they offer in gluten-free form, were delicious. The restaurant design is really cool with the open kitchen, because you can watch who and, above all, how the dishes are being prepared. We'd love to come back.

Bottomless. It was always one of our favorite restaurants. But da Nino has unfortunately developed for the worse in recent years. The service and friendliness of the employees has deteriorated extremely. We ordered pizzas over the phone to pick up but when we got there the wrong pizzas were prepared. When we asked the gentleman at the counter about it, he reacted very rudely and accused us of ordering incorrectly, but then reluctantly prepared the pizzas again and slammed them on the counter without asking or saying goodbye and without even looking at us. At home we discovered that two of the vegan pizzas we ordered had ham put on them. So I called again and drove over. While the pizzas were being prepared a third time, we were able to listen to a lecture from two employees on how to “correctly order a pizza” from da Nino. There was no apology, no understanding and absolutely no service orientation. We have never been treated so condescendingly and bitchy, so unfortunately we can no longer recommend Nino. We were guests here for the last time.

It is without a doubt one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted! The wine list also offers an excellent selection that perfectly complements the food. I can highly recommend Trattoria da Nino! Incredibly disrespectful! We wanted to invite my parents and have a nice evening. After my father got a raw pizza (not bad at first, can happen anywhere and anytime) and politely refused a new pizza, the boss's wife became very disrespectful and abusive! She made a big fuss and threw us out of the restaurant. She often uttered the words Vaffanculo to us and shouted at us. The boss personally didn't comment on it and didn't stop the discussion, but wanted to cash in as quickly as possible. We have never experienced such a terrible evening!

The best thing about the evening was the waiter. Funny, accommodating and nice. I had a spaghetti Bolognese which was mediocre for me. The atmosphere in the restaurant itself was good but the men's toilet was terrible. You should clean it more often.

This was our second time there, it's a shame we didn't discover the place sooner. Starting with the extremely friendly, courteous service, through to delicious, fresh food. There are also current special features on the board on the wall, really great. Even if we drive a little longer for the restaurant, we now come more often. Oh yes, and the Primitivo is really good too.
