Wonderful Italian restaurant with fantastic cuisine and outstanding personal service. Both the owners and our waiter Luca were incredibly attentive and friendly. In the future, a visit to this restaurant will be planned for every visit to Dortmund.

The food was great! The service was super quick, courteous and very attentive. The ambience is very nice. I would definitely come back.. very nice people run this restaurant and the food was absolutely top, and it was also very nicely prepared 🥰. Keep it up!

Very tasty food, friendly atmosphere.

We were there on a Monday afternoon and it wasn't that crowded. It was also noted in the menu that wait times might be a little longer since everything is freshly prepared. The food came much quicker than expected and was extremely tasty. The waiters were all super friendly and attentive. We kept asking if we needed anything else and how we liked it. We were also served a recommendation from the waiter for dessert so we could choose. We really enjoyed it and would be happy to recommend it and come back. The ambience inside wasn't that great. But very cozy with candles and lights not too intrusive. What I would like, however, is that we could choose a seat, as many tables were still free at that time.

The atmosphere is very nice, but the tables are very narrow. This is probably about quantity, there is enough parking space in front of the house. The service is friendly. Delicious rolls with dip arrived, unfortunately they wanted to take them away from us when our food arrived two minutes later. After protests they were left standing. My husband ordered spaghetti carbonara for €13.30 with a little cream, which unfortunately didn't work out. I had a mini pizza with ham that tasted extremely like oregano and was really mini. Unfortunately the price of €9.80 is not. I was still chewing on my last bite when the waiter came to clear away the food. This has nothing to do with going out for a leisurely meal. I would have liked to eat another roll. With 2 drinks you paid 30€. I find that completely overpriced. Unfortunately for me the price/performance ratio has no relation. There are other pizzerias in Dortmund where it is better. We won't be coming back.

We came late, so dinner was not possible. But they welcomed us warmly we could have some drinks and the still served us a nice antipasti and bread. I am not often in Dortmund but if, we sure will go eat here!! Thanks guys for having us. LG From the Netherland

Ordered pizza 🍕 looked good Unfortunately not what was ordered.

On Monday afternoon my husband asked me where you could go for a good Italian meal. Of course I immediately thought of Nino :) And once again we were really impressed by the food and service from Luka :D. Since we are vegetarians, Luka offered us a really tasty dish, which we were also thrilled about So when it comes to Italian food, always Nino :)

Great food even apart from pizza and pasta. My steak was on point. The mixed starter platter is also recommended. All around great and has been for years! Why only 4 stars for the ambience? In summer it is scorching hot, so air conditioning would be recommended for employees and guests. Otherwise the ambience is very nice.

The food is great, the staff is also very nice and you can watch them cook live. Sauces are freshly made but often in a very noisy setting.

Wir haben einen Fischgerichte bestellt, verschiedene Edelfische, der Lachs war trocken gegart, viel zu lange gegart, die Reklamation wurde von der Inhaberin weggelächelt, man glaubte mir einfach nicht, und dies ist meiner Frau drei Wochen vorher mit dem gleichen Gericht genau so ergangen. Dieses Restaurant sieht mich nie wieder!

Great food, great service, reasonable prices for the high quality offered. Unfortunately, the acoustics are very loud the more crowded it gets. The architect probably slept there, but that doesn't stop us from having a great time there. Gladly again.

We were visiting Dortmund again. My aunt and uncle are regulars there. For me it is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten at. In addition, the service is a straight A! Very nice and funny waiters who fulfill your every wish. See you next time! Ciao!!!

We have had delicious meals there several times. Pasta and also pizza. Very good. The staff is very friendly and quick. Even sitting outside on the street didn't bother us at all.

We've been going to Nino's for years and are always satisfied with the food...only on the last visit the owner seemed to have had a bad day. To greet 2 little girls (watching the tablecloth), who are just coloring pictures and sitting peacefully at the table is not very hospitable. We were given large bottles of water without asking, no day ticket and had to wait a long time to be allowed to pay. It's a shame overall, we were there with guests and Nino didn't make the best impression.

My God, dear people, I don't know what other spheres you're in and of course I don't know the amount of your income either, but the prices aren't fair. If I pay 11.50 euros for a mini pizza with ham, tuna and maybe 5 onion rings, plus a glass of stale malt beer 3.50 euros, so a total of 15.10 euros without a tip, then I think to myself, where do your prices start? where it gets unfair. An Insalata Mista for 12.50 euros isn't exactly cheap either. Apart from that, the dough is slightly over-salted, which is certainly not unintentional. Okay, enough complaining, the pizza still tastes good, but in my opinion it's overpriced. I'll still grant the owner Nino a full booth, but he won't see me again.

I've been eating at Nino's for over 30 years now. A small stand-up pizzeria became an Italian restaurant as the quality got better and better. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. The quality was once again very weak, especially with regard to the high prices. The Gnocchi Gorgonzola are basically just gnocchi in cream with a touch of Gorgonzola, Pasta Al Forno, which has always impressed with its delicious meat sauce, is now just dry pasta gratinated with cheese and the Pizza Margherita is like a fresher baked pizza with a little cheese . I think it is very sad. It sounds harsh and I'm sorry but unfortunately that's how I feel after all these years. There really are other, better alternatives. Younger pizzerias that still have to prove themselves and are trying harder. With Nino, quality may have fallen by the wayside due to success. 👎🏻

Incredibly delicious food. We were there in a large group and yet we were all served our dishes one after the other and everything was fresh, hot and delicious. Special requests were taken into account, questions were answered and the price was justified given the service. Always happy and highly recommended.

Good morning, I just don't understand how the store can be rated so well. We were there today to break our fast, a pizza exotica was extremely small, carelessly topped and the dough was soggy but the highlight was the noodles. No salt, no pepper, nothing so bland, no taste, nothing, every shisha café makes better noodles, the waitress was nice and said that the boss meant that the kitchen shouldn't add so many spices anymore, but I think they don't have any more spices in the kitchen and the third dish It was just broccoli gratinated with cheese and cream sauce for 13.50, it was more of a soup, no salt, no pepper and with the pasta we wanted spinach but asparagus. As an apology we were given creme brulee. Very nice but it wasn't enjoyable. It only tasted like eggs. The waitress was nice but forgot the drink and instead of spinach she had asparagus. I understand anything can happen but for 70 euros I expect more. I don't understand why the place is so full is and I did the math and we were charged 7 euros more. I usually never write reviews but because it was a disaster I had to write it if you really want to eat well, not here. Kind regards

Everything I've eaten at DaNino so far has been very, very tasty, even though I'm quite picky and demanding. The restaurant is also nice and the waitresses are friendly. Highly recommended.

Freundlicher Service, Tageskarte und Standardgerichte im mittleren Preissegment, ausreichend Parkplätze vor dem Lokal vorhanden. Essen war ok, nichts besonderes. Ambiente für ein schnelles Mittagessen ok, Abends würde ich hier nicht einkehren (kein Charme).

Today we were in Dortmund, 250 km away, because we had an appointment. Without a reservation, we were kindly assigned a table even though the shop was full. The pizza was really incredibly tasty. From the house there was kl. Rolls with dip. Delicious. We were served in a friendly and courteous manner. We'll be in Dortmund more often in the near future and will definitely come back. Thanks

We had dinner here with 3 adults and 3 children on a Sunday at 2:00 p.m. The food was super tasty. Both pizza and lasagna tasted very good and extra toppings were no problem. The service was friendly, but under a lot of time pressure. Instead of herb butter we got aioli, which was also eaten. The restaurant was clean, unfortunately you had to go up a stairwell with access to the street to use the toilet, which meant you couldn't send the children alone. The toilet could have been checked more often.

Hello, we like to order from time to time but we will definitely never order here again. Unfortunately, the service is very poor. Unfriendly and insulting, we ordered for almost 50 euros and got nothing. They delivered it to the wrong address. The driver called me. I said it was wrong. I probably gave him the right address 5 times. He supposedly took it back to the restaurant to leave The restaurant called me, I probably discussed it with them for an hour but nothing could be done, they are scammers and don't even want to refund the money 💰. They become unfriendly and insulting, I'm sorry, no one should go out to eat or even order anything here anymore. Dany

A great restaurant that is personally run with a lot of passion by the owner Nino. Here you can enjoy unusual, upscale Italian cuisine as well as rustic classics such as pizza and lasagne. The service staff is great and the prices are more than fair. The only drawback is the slightly higher volume at peak times. But the positive aspects more than make up for this.

Really good restaurant. But unfortunately I didn't like it that much on my last visit. Tables placed very close together. Very loud and warm. Recommended wine cost 45 euros a bottle. I call that a proud price for Aplerbeck.

Was at Da Nino for the first time. A great feeling as soon as you enter. The ambience is amazing. The menu has a wide range of offerings. You need time to fight your way through it. We were there today with 5 people. Ordered wildly from the menu, pizza, meat and fish. Pizza rolls were served beforehand, very tasty. Then came the main courses. All 5 at the same time, which is no longer a given these days. Already visually a feast for the eyes, it was topped by the taste. My steak was perfectly medium rare. The service was very friendly & attentive. We felt very comfortable and will come back. The store is busy, so a reservation would be a good idea.

Da ich seit über 20 Jahren in Hessen wohne, war ich nach vielen jahren mal wieder bei Nino Essen. Das Essen, Pizza, Gemüse al Al Forno und die Gnocci mit Tomatensoße waren super lecker.. Allerdings wurde ich nicht nach Parmesan gefragt…., auf meine Nachrage hin, wurde gesagt, ich kann Parmesan bekommen, müsste den aber extra bezahlen. 🙆‍♀️ Habe diesen dann natürlich bestellt aber so etwas habe ich noch bei keinem einzigen Italiener erlebt. Deshalb gibt es etwas Abzug in den Punkten. Aber der Laden läuft gut, da hat man das wohl nicht nötig.

Sehr schönes, ruhiges und sehr einladendes Ambiebte, das Essen war sehr lecker und kann man bedenkenlos empfehlen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Der Salat war in Sauce, die nach Supermarkt schmeckte, ertränkt. Die Zwiebel war extrem grob geschnitten. Der Boden der Pizza war unten durchweicht und oben mit den gleichen groben Zwiebeln bedeckt. Das Ambiente ist in Ordnung, der Service höflich. Für mich steht das Essen allerdings im Mittelpunkt. Die Gerichte der anderen waren leider ähnlich enttäuschend.

Leider alles mit Eier, Oder Laktose ,echt schade. Machen die Italiener Pizza mit Ei? Ich habe schon paar mal echte italienische Pizza gegessen, da waren keine Eier drin?

Gemischte Vorspeise bestand nur aus Gemüse , leider schon etwas abgerannst und einer Scheibe Tomate mit Mozzarella...das noch ohne Brot.. von der Spaghetti Frutti di Mare möchte ich garnichts sagen...Pluspunkte für den ausgegebenen Espresso für Alle nachdem ich mich beschwert hatte.... einen Versuch haben sie trotzdem noch...vielleicht war es ja Tagesform

Man sollte nur einen Tisch bestellt haben, sonst hat man am Wochenende keine Chance. Wir hatten einen Tisch bestellt und musste trotzdem 15 min am Tresen warten. Bekamen aber ein Getränk aufs Haus

Vorspeise antipasti mit kleinen Brötchen total lecker Super Weißwein und ein wirklich auf den Punkt getroffenes Rinderfilet. Wir waren mit 13 Personen da Das Essen kam echt zügig Hauptgang kam auch alles top hinter einander her Egal ob Fisch Fleisch Nudeln oder Pizza alles sah super aus und kam gut an Lediglich wurde zweimal vergessen die bestellten Wasserflaschen zu bringen aber das ist echt nicht der Rede wert. Gerne wieder

This Restaurant is located in Dortmund City in Nordrhein-Westfalen State of Germany. Next to a Mcfit gym. We ordered take away Pizzas. They were very tasty . The Restaurant has a very good ambience. Good for a quiet Date Night.

Wir waren jetzt zwei Mal da und wir finden es super. Hatten Pasta (für mich hervorragend) , Pizza und Kalbsleber und alles war richtig, richtig gut. Toller Service, wirklich schöner Laden, in dem wir auch gern mal mit ein paar Gläsern Wein versacken würden, wenn wir denn aus Dortmund kämen. Da wird das nicht tun, ist es dann doch schwierig und allein auf die Essensaufnahme reduziert. Die allein macht aber schon Freude in dem Laden.

Nach langer Zeit hatte ich mich auf einen Besuch gefreut. Leider war es nicht empfehlenswert. Das Essen verbrannt, sehr lange Wartezeit (1std.) Das Lokal war nicht sehr voll. Man wurde immer wieder vertröstet. Sogar das Getränk zur Überbrückung kam für 4Personen zeitversetzt. Ich bin extrem enttäuscht und werde von weiteren Besuchen Abstand nehmen.

Es wird sich höflich um die Gäste gekümmert. Ich habe einen großen Salat bestellt, der wirklich sehr lecker war. Ich bekam Pizza Brötchen sonst immer dazu. Jetzt bekommt man Pizza Brötchen zum Salat für 3 Euro Extra. Das fand ich sehr enttäuschend. Das wurde mir erst gesagt, als wir die Rechnung begleichen wollten!

Wir sind nicht aus Dortmund und nur per Zufall über dieses Restaurant gestolpert und sind begeistert!!! Essen, Service, Preise: Alles top!!! Und zum Geburtstag gabs ein Tischfeuerwerk und ein Ständchen!!! Absolut wunderbar!! 🥳🥳🥳 Das einzig blöde war, dass es keinen Ferrari-Epress-Lieferservice ins Saarland gibt 🤷🏻‍♀️

Abzug nur beim Ambiente, da es dort immer rappelvoll und daher für mich zu laut ist. Nino ist ein Typ und das Essen ist einfach nur klasse. Es ist möglich auch Speisen abzuholen.
