Very nice excursion on Monday evening _ we had a delicious meal

Very good food at star level. 🤗 friendly service and short waiting times. We'd love to come back.

We ate there with four couples (with reservation). The starter plates and main courses were good, but neither exceptional and the portions were too small for us. The drink supply was really slow. Overall we were disappointed for this price.

We had dinner there with 4 people on Saturday evening. The staff was friendly. The couperto, however, is more than poor and very careless. The price-performance ratio is unreasonably high. The spaghetti with Gamberis was tasty, but nothing special - I've eaten better. I would say a restaurant for a very high budget. Even if I could afford it, I wouldn't go there again

There was nothing wrong with the antipasti plate. Size and quality appropriate for the price. The terrace is beautifully located in the countryside with traffic calming and there is easy parking directly in front of the restaurant. Service rather lackluster. The drink prices shocked me! 8.90 for a glass of 0.2 white wine spritzer that wasn't even well made! The glass of open rosé 0.2 at 10.90! Neither was on the menu. Bottom line: I felt ripped off!

This was our second time at the Scuderia. Even the first time, the service seemed stressed or listless to us. This may certainly happen on busy days - but given the price range, the guest shouldn't be able to notice it. The food partially impressed us the first time and actually not at all the second time, which will probably have been our last visit to the restaurant. Aperol Spritz 9.90 euros - with lemon instead of orange. The food seems to be appreciated by many visitors and is not bad. But I wouldn't allow myself to be carried away with more praise. The fish was more than dead. The octopus was not soft, but at best crispy. The potatoes passed more as fried potatoes. The teriyaki sauce was identical on the arugula for each course. I would have hoped for more creativity. So all the aisles appeared almost identical. The quality of the food was certainly fresh - but the taste couldn't be compared with other restaurants in the price range. The plates weren't cleared for a long time. But I would like to highlight the bread and the dip on a positive note. These components were very good and at least offered a nice introduction. The service did not convince us. No smiles or good evenings from the ladies at the counter, who were the only staff visible to us in the restaurant at the time of entry. Our conclusion: The restaurant is certainly suitable for some people in the area to grab something to eat or order a drink after work, especially since there are only a few alternative restaurants in the immediate area. However, the few that are available convince us more in all respects, both in the same price range and cheaper.

I recently visited the Scuderia restaurant in Dortmund and was mostly satisfied. The food was satisfactory and the atmosphere was pleasant. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed on Saturday. Unfortunately the beef fillet wasn't cooked through and the red wine sauce didn't taste that good. I didn't find the price-performance ratio to be appropriate. Nevertheless, I give the Scuderia restaurant in Dortmund four stars and would still recommend it.

It was really tasty, but very little. This means that in our opinion the price-performance ratio is not right. In the porcini mushroom pasta dish with beef fillet tips, the fillet was a bit too cooked; it felt like there was almost no porcini mushroom on the plate. The fillet with braised onions and hash browns was delicious and beautifully presented. Sitting indoors is really comfortable. Recommended with a few caveats!

Very good food in an upscale atmosphere.

We were there once, in a good mood and with anticipation, when the Scuderia had just opened and unfortunately I can't make a recommendation because we were simply not greeted, served or taken into account (there were no other guests on site). The name says it all here and we didn't look solvent enough. We weren't even given a glance when we entered the place, no questions, nothing. Although there were several waiters/employees at the counter, there were only bad looks in the other direction and people pointedly looked away. After 5 minutes we turned around and left. If you as a staff are on top of your game like that, others are happy to pay the excessive prices. It was a bit too much for us, so we left the restaurant in a bad mood. It's a shame, because the atmosphere looked nice and we've eaten at Mama Leone's (in Wellinghofen) several times.

Scuderia by Mama Leone is simply fantastic! The food is delicious, the staff is really nice, and I can only recommend it. A great place for a great time!

Very nice restaurant with excellent food and great service

So, I'm actually giving my very first negative review! Unfortunately, I have to say... I'm not a fan of bad reviews, but we were extremely annoyed by some things, so we would like to tell others about them. My partner and I spontaneously went there at around 6 p.m. to try it out. We were really looking forward to the shop, the food and the atmosphere. After we entered the restaurant, only two tables were occupied, so we were able to choose a nice spot by the window. Very nicely furnished, attractive interior, but two young waiters who probably had no sympathy for visitors... no nice smile or gesture as a welcome greeting! After ordering the water, we chose a starter, i.e. the carpaccio, with a bottle of Gavi di Gavi and as a main course the sea bream with spinach and my partner the game fish plate. At first the bread was like from the supermarket, instead of a crispy crust and delicious stone bread, we got limp bread with no taste. Well, that was harmless! Then came the starter, which wasn't presented nicely. Simply with far too little rocket and parmesan, quite spartan for €19.90 and the taste also left a lot to be desired. After one of the young waiters poured the wine with an unfriendly expression without speaking, I asked for a cooler! His ignorance towards women was very evident as he only spoke to me partner and completely overlooked me. It continued that not even a refill was given and the waiters were probably watching a football game at the counter. When the main course came I didn't say anything at first because I wanted to give the kitchen a chance and try it first. The sea bream fillet was fried incorrectly, the skin was sagging on the underside of the fish and the parmesan breading was far too hard... the spinach couldn't be more disgusting. The fish was swimming in the spinach water, the frozen food and was so mushy that I lost my hunger! It really wasn't nice. Too bad about the fish! My anger continued to grow. When the waiter asked my almost full plate, "Did it taste good?" and I criticized that the fish wasn't fried properly and the spinach wasn't tasty either, he ignored me again and looked up at my partner Eyebrow raised without offering me anything to calm me down or me To vote mildly! My partner poured me more wine and ordered the bill. His meal was therefore no pleasure either! Both meals cost over €30 per person. My husband couldn't leave it like that without commenting, he said that it wasn't nice, that there wasn't even a gift, that three couples wasn't too much, and that the BVB game wasn't so obvious in front of the guests and the meal was a tragedy without anyone asking for coffee or dessert. I would have liked it to be different! That was a failure, which I'm only sharing now because I was so disappointed! I hope that all the other guests were really happy and we were just very unlucky!

For me the best Italian in Dortmund! Every dish tastes fantastic and service is first class. The family atmosphere helps to bring the evening to a perfect end.

We had a business lunch there yesterday and had both meat and fish. Very well prepared and very fresh. Very good ambience and plenty of parking spaces available. Definitely our recommendation!

We had a very nice evening with delicious food and good service.

We enjoyed an excellent culinary evening today. Both the starters - vitello tonnato and carpaccio with porcini mushrooms as well as the subsequent beef fillet with giant scampi and the roast beef with rösti and lamb's lettuce and the accompanying Barbera completely convinced us. The desserts - panna cotta and creme brûle were excellent. The whole thing was rounded off by very attentive service. More is not possible!

Tried the “other” Mama Leone for the first time. Table reserved for 4 people and all seats were already occupied at 7 p.m. The distance between the tables was large enough so that conversations from the neighboring table did not disturb. Aperitifs were brought quickly and the order was then taken. With so much on offer, it wasn't easy to choose the main course. The timing was ideal, the aperitif was (almost) empty and starters were served. We ordered beef carpaccio once and beetroot once. Both well prepared and very tasty. The tuna sashimi was excellent, very good tuna and only a small sesame crust that was no longer raw. The other two dishes were also very tasty and large portions. Tried tiramisu and panna cotta as dessert, good ending. The fact that it is not an original Italian became noticeable when ordering the coffee, where the ristretto was served as an expresso with additional water instead of almost no water. Prices are cheap compared to other restaurants of comparable quality. Hence the first but definitely not the last visit.

We found our way here based on a recommendation. One visit was enough for us to realize that we will come back with time and leisure. It was simply delicious!

Das Essen war köstlich. Obwohl wir kurz vor Restaurant Schließung ankamen hat man uns sehr freundlich noch schnell köstliche Nudeln gezaubert.

Sehr nettes Ambiente, sehr nette Bedienung. Der Italiener um die Ecke. Das Essen ist gut mit Luft nach oben.

Super schönes Ambiente, Essen top. Wir waren als größere Gesellschaft da, gerne wieder. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Die Preise sind der Qualität entsprechend.

Als Vorspeise Sashimi-Variationen außerhalb der Karte, super. Hauptspeisen in der Gruppe gemischt mit Fisch und Fleisch, alle waren begeistert. Mein Thunfischsteak im Sesammantel mit Teriyaki-Gemüse war sensationell gut. Service und Weinbegleitung ebenso. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

So schön, dass es endlich wieder einen tollen Laden „um die Ecke“ gibt. Der Inhaber, seine liebe Frau und die bekannten Gesichter in Service und Küche haben diesen ersten Abend so besonders gemacht. Mille grazie, wir waren sehr zufrieden und sind glücklich, dass wir einen so schönen Abend bei euch verbringen durften. Bevor eine Bewertung abgegeben wird, sollte ein Restaurant doch öfter besucht werden. Wir waren am Sonntag wieder in der Scuderia by Mamma Leone. Leider waren wir heute mit den ausgesuchten Speisen und dem Service überhaupt nicht zufrieden..... Vielleicht war es ein anderer Koch, wie bei unserem ersten Mal. Die ausgesuchten Speisen waren heute nämlich nur mittelmäßig!!!! Auch der Service konnte nicht überzeugen. Ich muss leider meine Bewertung von 5 Sterne auf 3 Sterne korrigieren!!!! Beste Empfehlung erhalten. Es ist unser erster Besuch in der Scuderia by Mamma Leone. Sehr leckere Speisen und beste Wein-Empfehlung. Der Service sehr freundlich und gut organisiert. Wir haben zu viert die Scuderia besucht und sind alle sehr zufrieden!!!!!

Männerabend mit für alles sehr leckerem Essen, sehr guten Grappa und flotten aufmerksamen Service. Ambiente ist hervorragend.

Ausreichend Parkplätze direkt am Restaurant. Der Empfang war nicht übermässig freundlich oder so, dass er mir positiv in Erinnerung bleiben wird, aber er war ok. Wir bekamen einen schönen Platz im Außenbereich angeboten und die Karte ausgehändigt. Nach Aufgabe der Bestellung folgten schnell ein paar Scheiben warmes Weißbrot mit Kräuterbutter, allerdings waren die Teller schmutzig, weshalb wir sie nicht nutzten sondern das Brot nur über dem Teller bestrichen. Die warmen Speisen kamen zügig und waren durchaus lecker und hübsch angerichtet, wenngleich die Portion "überschaubar" war. Bestellt waren Jacobsmuscheln und große Waldpilztortellinis. Beide Gerichte hatten vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis noch Luft nach oben. Die Getränke waren verhältnismässig teuer. Der Lillet für 9,90 EUR wurde mit frischen Früchten serviert, das Glas 0,20 l Luganer für 9,20 Eur. Vom Empfinden her durchaus ambitioniert. Nach Abräumen der Teller hat es 15 Minuten gedauert, bis das ein Heißgetränk angeboten wurde. Beim Zusammenspiel von Servicenivau und Preis gibt es noch Potential, Portionsgrößen recht überschaubar, geschmacklich gut. Preislich ne Spur "drüber"

Alles TOP wir kommen gern wieder

Wir hatten zum Glück reserviert, ansonsten wäre es vermutlich schwer gewesen einen Tisch zu bekommen. Das Essen war wirklich super und weit jenseits der klassischen "Pizzeria" Dementsprechend sind dann natürlich auch die Preise. Wir empfanden sie aber als angemessen. Der Service war gut und nicht aufdringlich. Wir würden wieder kommen!

Essen war Durchschnitt. Ich hatte Nudeln - möglicherweise keine Spezialität des Hauses. Aber die Portion war auskömmlich. Der Service war aufmerksam. Dass ich eines der günstigeren Gerichte gewählt hatte, hat man mich nicht spüren lassen. Die Atmosphäre ist nicht großartig. Man merkt, dass die Räumlichkeiten nicht als Restaurant konzipiert worden sind. Es war bei meinem Besuch auch arg duster. Wer auf ein stimmiges Lichtkonzept Wert legt, kommt nicht auf seine Kosten. Die Preise sind sehr ambitioniert. Vermutlich verspricht man sich an dem Standort Gäste, die entweder nicht mobil sind, aber Essen wollen, oder einfach keinen großen Wert auf das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis legen. Fazit: Es gibt, insbesondere bei diesen Preisen, zahlreiche bessere italienische Restaurants.
