The food was very good. I had pizza, which was plentiful, crispy, and the vegetables were fresh. The service was very good; all in all, a pleasant lunch.

Six of us spontaneously arrived on a Saturday afternoon. We received a very friendly welcome and were served promptly. The service was excellent. Accommodating and always with a friendly smile. The highlight, however, was the food. Both the pizzas and pasta were delicious. The selection of homemade desserts was also excellent. The menu is straightforward, yet everyone easily found several dishes to suit their taste. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. I highly recommend it.

Truly Italian, everything tastes good here: perfect pizza, amazing pasta. A new seasonal menu every week. Make reservations well in advance.

First of all, we have often ordered and picked up food there by phone and the price/performance was completely okay. We also decided to eat on site and were amazed at the significantly increased prices and now smaller portion sizes. One dish was billed at €30 instead of €22.90 as stated (unfortunately we didn't notice until we got home.) I was able to stabilize the table with beer mats so that the drink didn't spill over every time. Card payment is possible on site and is also shown at the entrance, but at the table they said cash payment was preferred, and when the tip wasn't generous enough, "energetic" words were used in Italian. In the end, a friendly farewell from the gentleman who served us was unsuccessful.

I have known this restaurant for a very long time. When I discovered it for the first time, I was immediately excited. I've enjoyed coming by every now and then for almost 30 years.

The last time I had pizza this good was in Italy. The pizza dough was 100% how pizza dough should be. The prices match the performance. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of my pizza. But I had Pizza Italia!!! And I can recommend it!!! Just a fantastic pizzeria!!!

So the price-performance ratio was okay for the pizzas, but paying €18-22 for a plate of pasta is pretty steep. Otherwise, the food tasted good but it also left many of us feeling sore. Our table was only available for an hour. After class we were rudely kicked out. But since the food came very late, we only had 15 minutes to eat it. There will be no further visit.

Service to fall in love with. Pasta was okay, far too large a portion for me with far too much pasta in relation to the vegetables. Unfortunately parking is a disaster.

We were there today with friends. Thanks to the friendly, helpful and recommended staff. As usual, the starter platter was of very good quality and tasty. The main course, homemade pasta with porcini mushroom sauce and two other pasta dishes disappointed us. I don't know if the chef changed or had a bad evening. The food was not recommended with three different pasta dishes. Bland, lukewarm and simply not tasty. Very unfortunate. We will continue to eat there, but after this not good meal we won't recommend it to anyone.

Simply great! Fantastic Italian restaurant with fresh ingredients and authentic taste. The dishes were excellent, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was very inviting.

We were there quite spontaneously with 9 people and found space. The food was great and the service was attentive. It was a bit noisy due to the abundance of people.

We were warmly greeted at reception. After ordering the dishes, we noticed that the apple spritzer does not contain any carbon dioxide. We asked the waiter to bring us a new one and he twisted his hair so it was totally rude. Then the new apple spritzer came again without carbon dioxide. We then accepted it and after eating we asked for the bill. We then had to wait 15 minutes for the bill. The bill was €50 for three pizzas and three soft drinks. And the pizzas were average and nothing special. Price performance is terrible. Never again😡😡😡

Great place, friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere.

A very atmospheric place. What adds charm is the fact that the people working there are Italian and they speak Italian among themselves. Very nice people. Very hospitable. Pizza phenomenal. I've never eaten such good pizza in my life. Tagliatelle Tachini - good, but a bit sterile, and I would even say tasteless. Parmesan saved the day. Tiramisu won everything! I recommend.

The food is of a high standard with authentic Italian cuisine and the service as a guest is super accommodating with a dash of humor.

Very authentic, traditional Italian cuisine. Very good value for money. Fine beer garden and easy to reach. Parking spaces are limited. A little tip: you will never be towed in the parking lots of the student residence around the corner (I lived there for years)

The food is really tasty and well prepared. But it's not great. The staff is nice and friendly. When it comes to paying, however, the moon prices quoted significantly reduce the enjoyment. Lasangne, Maccaroni Gorgonzola etc. for €18? That's definitely not going to make you many friends. There is no longer a reasonable relationship between price and performance, which is a shame. We won't be going there again.

Went to La Gazzetta for the first time yesterday. Ate pizza and pasta. Everything was super delicious! The service was super nice. We will definitely come back.

The pizza tastes good. The salads aren't that good... rather boring. Yoghurt dressing tasted like it was bought cheaply. Wouldn't order a salad again.

Food is tasty but very slow service. Especially, takeaway time is very high and when asked on call they say to come early and make us wait. Please be aware that the menu prices in Google and the actual prices are different. The prices are a bit higher. Also, there is a huge difference between dine-in and takeaway.

Used to be my favorite Italian restaurant. Super tasty, nice service. Unfortunately, the price is now completely excessive, that's just outrageous and has nothing to do with inflation compensation (normal lasagna is now 18 euros, previously 9.90 euros!!!). Incredible, rarely seen such a growth.

A great restaurant with really good food. Unfortunately, on the second visit, I had to wait a long time after the starter for the main course. But the food was fresh and appetizingly prepared.

Today on the second visit, because yesterday was so great, there was again excellent food. The drinks were on the table quite quickly, but the starter took a long time and the main course took forever to arrive. I almost wanted to leave. I didn't like that so much today.

Reservation by telephone worked well, no table reservation outside possible. But we also know this from other restaurants. I find the atmosphere good and relaxed. The food, appetizer and pizza, was super tasty. Service takes a little too long, after the indoor shop has filled up with guests, it takes even longer to be served outside. Unfortunately, I discovered pieces of paper with printing on it underneath or in my pizza. If you're not careful, you'll eat it. After I pointed this out to the waiter, it was only explained to me that this was a receipt and that it could happen with a knife or pizza peel when serving on the plate, apparently this is a known problem. There was no apology and it was waved off like just shut up and keep eating. It seemed as if this would happen often, dear waiter, then you have to be very careful that this doesn't happen. From this point onwards the appetite disappears. Furthermore, you never know if someone from the health authority happens to be eating on site.

Affordable and delicious: a successful restaurant visit! Cuisine & menu (1 out of 1 star): After visiting an exhibition in Dortmund, we asked ourselves where we could find something for lunch. We came across this restaurant that we had previously researched on the internet. The restaurant's diverse menu delighted us with a good portion of Italian delicacies. The creative dishes reflect the culinary expertise of the kitchen team. From delicate appetizers to tempting desserts, the selection offers a gastronomic experience to suit every taste. A real treat that increased our anticipation of visiting a restaurant. Quality of the food (1 out of 1 star): The quality of the food in this restaurant exceeded our expectations. I ordered the “Penne Fantasia” while my friend chose the “Pizza Rucola e Parma” which we shared between us. Honestly, both dishes were outstanding, each bite a symphony of flavors and freshness. The carefully selected ingredients and the very good preparation are evidence of culinary know-how. At no point did we have the impression that something “just” came out of the freezer and was warmed up. One of the few pizzas with a black crust that I never eat - I was able to fully enjoy my share of the pizza here. Both dishes were attractively presented and the portion size was generous. Cleanliness & Hygiene (1 out of 1 star): The cleanliness and hygiene in this restaurant made our visit a thoroughly pleasant experience. The tables and the entire area were spotlessly clean, which immediately gave a positive feeling. The attentive staff ensured regular cleaning and disinfection, including in the other places, which strengthened our confidence in the hygiene standards. The consistently clean environment contributed significantly to making us feel comfortable and safe - a fundamental requirement for us! Atmosphere & ambience (1 out of 1 star): We walked to the restaurant, although a vehicle or public transport would be preferable. Arriving at the restaurant, we found a tasteful decor at the back of the restaurant, which contributed to a relaxed ambience. Unfortunately, with the nice weather, we only had a place by the window as there is no outdoor area available. We read complaints about the staff on the Internet years ago, but we cannot confirm them. The attentiveness of the staff, without being intrusive, completes the overall picture. Here you can not only dine excellently, but also enjoy your time in a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. Value for money (1 out of 1 star): Although the prices on the Internet were lower than on site, the quality and quantity of the food on offer was in good balance with the prices. Every euro is reflected in delicious flavors and generous portions. A place where you can not only dine excellently, but also feel like you are getting full value for your money. Conclusion (5 out of 5 stars): An all-round successful visit to the restaurant. The diverse menu impressed with culinary excellence. Cleanliness and ambience created a pleasant atmosphere. The attentive staff and impressive value for money made the experience unforgettable. Perfect symbiosis of taste and hospitality.

I've been coming here for over 14 years. It's my all-time favorite Italian restaurant in Germany. Great atmosphere. The owner/servers are so friendly and welcoming. We come here for all our important dates and celebrations. They have delicious options for vegetarians, seafood lovers and carnivores. 100% would recommend!

Unabhängig davon, dass dieser Ort mich und meine Frau an unsere sehr schöne Studentenzeit erinnert als diese Location noch 'Nachrichtentreff' hieß, ist ein Besuch hier sehr empfehlenswert. Insbesondere die sehr zuvorkommenden Servicekräfte stechen hervor aber auch das leckere Essen und die gemütliche Atmosphäre.

Original italienische Küche, absolut hervorragend. Faire Preise für diese Spitzenqualität. Es wird jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Lecker!

Wir waren bei unserem letzten Aufenthalt in Dortmund bei diesem Italiener und es hat uns so überzeugt, daß wir dieses mal wieder dort waren. Man fühlt sich einfach willkommen und hat einen schönen Abend.

Wir waren ohne Reservierung dort, und haben mit etwas Glück noch einen Tisch bekommen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Pizza, und auch das Nudelgericht war sehr schmackhaft . Kurz und knapp, wir waren rundum zufrieden,und kommen gerne wieder.

Essen und Ambiente top. Der Kellner hat auf jeden Fall seine Passion gefunden! Immer einen lockeren Spruch drauf, lieben wir :)!

Haben eine Fahrradtour gemacht und hier einen Zwischenstopp!Nudeln mit verschiedenen Muschelarten gegessen,dazu traumhaften Rotwein,vorweg einen Aperol Spritz .Wir haben auf der Terrasse gesessen!Einfach nur schön!!Wir kommen wieder!

Obwohl der Laden brechend voll war, so eine tolle Stimmung.

Auch wenn man nicht im schönen Garten sitzen kann, drinnen geht auch. Im Schankraum die Tische etwas weiter auseinander und in der Gaststube den Hall dämpfen, dann wäre es perfekt. Die Pizzen waren sehr gut wie immer. Auch den Holländern am Nebentisch (Freundschaftsspiel BVB) hats geschmeckt - trotz Niederlage!

Preis-/Leistung war Top! Das Brot für das Bruschetta war selbstgemacht und beim Servieren warm und knusprig - wirklich spitze! Auch die Lasagne war sehr reichhaltig, sehr heiß und sehr schmackhaft. Auch der Service war trotz der zahlreichen Gäste sehr aufmerksam und flott. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste mal! Einziger Wermutstropfen waren die wenigen Parkmöglichkeiten.

Die Pizza Mageritha schmeckt sehr. Jedoch wenn ihr es zum Abholen bestellt ,kommt lieber etwas später statt die dauer die euch am Telefon gesagt wird. Wird euch 15-20min euerer Zeit sparen.

Eigentlich seit den letzten ca. 10 Jahren mein bevorzugter Italiener. Besonders begeistert von der Pizza. Habe sie auch immer wieder in meinen Bekannten Kreis empfohlen. Aber diese Woche war meine Pizza, die ich hier immer esse und somit Vergleichsmöglichkeiten habe, nur noch gerade so mittelmäßig. Abgesehen von der Optik und die reduzierte Größe, kam sie geschmacklich nicht mehr an die Pizza, die ich hier sonst gewohnt war ran. Besonders der Teig hatte meiner Meinung nicht mehr die Qualität. Vielleicht ein neuer Pizza Bäcker, oder eine andere Zubereitung. Vielleicht war es ja nur ein schlechter Tag seitens der Küche. Werde es nochmal ausprobieren.

Ich habe außergewöhnlich viel für eine normal große Pizza bezahlt. Es muss wohl eine Maxi gewesen sein, obwohl ich einfach nur eine Pizza bestellte ohne genaue Größenangabe. Die war jedoch leider nur so groß wie anderswo halb so teure Pizzen. Sie schmeckte dennoch gut. Zudem wurden wir sehr bestimmt darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass wir etwas essen sollten, da dies ein Restaurant und kein Café sei. Dabei war es jedoch sehr leer. Wir nahmen keinen Platz 'weg'

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Schöner Biergarten. Nettes Personal und leckeres Essen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wunderbares essen mit tollem Ambiente und sehr sehr guten, freundlichen und zuvorkommend Service. Die Terrasse draußen ist ebenfalls groß genug für größere Gruppen, sowie kleinere Tische für kleinere Gruppen. Essen kam schnell und dad Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist mehr als fair. Parken ist momentan aufgrund von Baustellen schwierig, jedoch kann das Restaurant dafür nichts, daher bleibt es bei 5 Sternen. Persönliche Empfehlung: Ravioli mit Spinat in Gorgonzola-Sauce.

Beste Pizza die je gegessen habe. Hier lebt und schmeckt man Bella Italia. Unglaublich lecker und ein super Service. Danke an dieser Stelle.

Leckeres Essen, gehobenes Preisniveau, guter Service.

Viel zu teuer und dafür zu wenig aber lecker. Auf der Terrasse sitzt man abends im Schatten. Für eine gemüse Pizza zahlt man hier 15 Euro. Die war zwar sehr lecker aber so klein das ich hungrig aus dem Restaurant gegangen bin. Bei dem Nudelgericht von meinem Mann war es noch schlimmer. Die konnte man zählen. Wenn man noch eine Vorspeise und Nachtisch nimmt ist man sicher gut gesättigt aber auf Grund der geringen Menge dazu gezwungen zu werden finde ich nicht gut. Wenn man sich Pizza liefern lässt bezahlt man übrigens nur ungefähr die Hälfte

Es macht immer wieder Spaß hier essen zu gehen. Gemütlich, lecker, faire Preise. Was will man mehr? 😀
