Unfortunately we have to pay EXTRA if we want olive oil for the food.

The restaurant is located on an inconspicuous street. We would never have normally entered here, as we live somewhere completely different. We were meeting up with friends here. The owner of the pizzeria won the German Professional Pizza Baking Champion title this year. We've been here twice now. We started with impeccable bruschetta, and finished with a schnapps. The vegetarian pizza with Gorgonzola, pears, and walnuts, or the asparagus pizza with mozzarella and ham, aren't something you'll find on every street corner. The place is quite manageable, with no fancy chairs; you pay at the counter. We'll be back.

Addendum March 2025: We ate here several times in 2024/2025. I usually ordered a pizza, almost always the same. There are also two delicious oils (garlic herb oil and chili oil). On February 28th I had dinner here with two friends. It was very crowded and unpleasantly loud. All three of us ordered a pizza (mainly because I had previously praised the pizza). And then the disappointment: My pizza wasn't baked through and wasn't even remotely round in shape. There was no topping on one side, the other side had too much. There were no sauces either. Nobody came to the table to ask if we were happy. When we wanted to pay I mentioned that my pizza wasn't ok (there was still 80% of it on my plate). The waiter said he was sorry and would pass it on. Nothing more happened. There was no discount on the pizza or a reasonable apology. Something like that can always happen. But then you should respond appropriately. In any case, they lost me as a customer. I went to dinner here with my parents 30 years ago. At the time it was one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. I recently had a spontaneous meal there again for a very long time. The owner will be different now, and I think the shop was just called “Arcinos” back then. The food was still very good. There are various pizza and pasta dishes, as well as a seasonal menu. We had pizza, risotto and a meat dish and were happy with everything. The staff was very friendly.

In my opinion the aroma is overrated. The food is ok, but far from a culinary delight. I expected a lot more based on the many good reviews and won't go there again

We wanted to have dinner here. An inline reservation would not be confirmed twice. No one has been reachable by phone for weeks - the number is temporarily unreachable, that's the cancellation. It's a shame, because otherwise the reviews here are good, but no accessibility is a no-go.

First of all: the food is really delicious! It is a small open kitchen with a few selected dishes. To drink there is, among other things, Peroni, no further wishes. The only drawback is that the furnishings are sometimes very uncomfortable, especially for taller people. It's all very loud and cramped, but that seems to be part of the concept. The waitress was alone and really made a big effort.

We hadn't made a reservation but a spot was found for us straight away. The restaurant was packed because it was Saturday evening and yet both waitresses were quick, very attentive and courteous. The food was absolutely delicious. I would like the recipe for the spreads that came with the bruschetta, please. Terrific! Preus performance is top! If we are in the area again, we will stop there again.
