The food was very good, especially the pizza.

The food was actually good. However, at the beginning of our visit, we were addressed effusively as "professor" and "senior." When we pointed out the hairs in our food, the feigned friendliness vanished. Although the plate wasn't charged, he denied responsibility, and from then on, we were no longer welcome.

Trattoria Da Francesco – Reliable Quality for Years We have been eating regularly at Trattoria Da Francesco for many years – and the quality of the food has remained consistently excellent. The huge pizzas, which are perfect for sharing, are particularly noteworthy. But we are even more impressed by the fish dishes, which are always fresh and deliciously prepared. The service is friendly and attentive; we always feel well looked after here. The restaurant's prices are also absolutely fair. If you want to be sure of a table, you should definitely make a reservation – Da Francesco is popular, and rightly so.

Outrageously unfriendly just upon entering the restaurant; for that reason alone, not recommended at all. There is no reason why he wants to scare away his customers.

We were here today and were completely ripped off. We actually wanted to spend a nice evening with our friends, but in the end, we were left with nothing but trouble. This is the bill for two people: We were suddenly charged €54 instead of €45. After paying (€60 including tip), we realized the total couldn't be right. When we asked, they simply said, "Coke costs €5" – but the total still didn't add up. They didn't want to show us the bill and refused to do the math. The owner apparently didn't even know the prices for other dishes. Very unprofessional. Tip: Be sure to check the bill first!

I ordered through Lieferando, but unfortunately, the delivery was significantly delayed. After more than an hour and a half, I decided to drive to the pizzeria myself. I received a very friendly welcome there. The employee immediately had my order freshly prepared again – at an impressive speed – and even refunded me the full amount. Then, at home, I was in for a surprise: the food was truly delicious! The penne arrabiata – beautifully seasoned and perfectly balanced – was a real highlight. The two pizzas were also top-notch: fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I'd happily come back in person to eat there again. I highly recommend it!

Haven't been here for a while and was totally disappointed. I was super shocked by the food. Had a penne al forno, it was supposed to be with rump steak. There was meat in it, but there was hardly any indefinably cedary sauce and it didn't taste good. Left everything behind. The asparagus salad with goat cheese. Was no goat cheese and 3 ruccola leaves. The asparagus was hard and brown. The olives and bread that were served at the beginning were moldy. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Ordered 4 pizzas to take away. The shock at home. Hardly any toppings....4 slices of salami, hardly any cheese and as thin as a sheet of paper. Francesco has slacked off a lot. Spend 40 euros for nothing. If I had looked at them first...he could have kept them. We ate with him for years...Always satisfied. But that was a real joke and a joke. We'll never go there again. The pizzeria has lost good customers!!!

Under no circumstances order anything for delivery. After 2 hours nothing had been delivered. Restaurant does not accept telephone calls (only answering machine) and does not return calls. When you go there in person, they tell you that you haven't ordered anything for pickup and that delivery is on the way. Of course you get excited and want to know when the delivery is coming. The boss then said that you wouldn't get anything more and instructed the driver not to deliver. We got money back, but the fact that there was no apology and no awareness of injustice makes me really sad. Apparently the store no longer needs paying delivery customers.

Sunday we go to the tavern, we ask whether it is open, yes, everything is ok. Let's sit at the table, t we look at the menu, order, the host comes, takes the cards away and says that there will be no food and leaves. I asked why, what's going on, to which the waiter, frightened, replies that it's the boss and if that's what he's saying. It's incomprehensible, but we went here for the first time and definitely for the last time.

At 7:08 p.m. we ordered for over 50 euros. The delivery time according to Lieferando was 20-55 minutes, after 2 hours I called at 8:58 p.m. to ask where the order was. The answer was “in a few minutes”. After 30 minutes at 9:28 p.m. we decided to call and cancel. All I got on the phone was “okay, we know”.

It took a long time until we got the card. We had to call the waiter to order. The food came relatively quickly. The food is really good. Nicely prepared, very well seasoned. Two stars deducted for service because my plate was dirty, not sticky, but rough when I reached over it. As if there were starch residues from the pasta all over the plate. It doesn't work at all!!!

Schmutziges und kaputtes Geschirr, langweiliges Essen, kaum Gewürzt, Ungepflegter Garten- Terrassensitzplatz, inkompetente Bedienung, Antipasti Vitrine war leer und nicht gefüllt wie auf Trip Advisor geschrieben Es ist keinen Besuch wert!!! 4,5 Sterne sind nicht gerechtfertigt.

Es war durchgehend eine Enttäuschung, Terasse runtergekommen, rostig, Kippenstummel auf dem Boden. Bedienung läuft in Leggings, Nikeschuhen und schmutzigen T-Shirt rum. Ewig auf die Frage der Getränke gewartet. Wein und Wassergläser schmutzig und Reste vom Lippenstift dran, Weinkaraffe sah schlimm aus, überall abgeplatzt und diese Stellen dunkel verfärbt . Als man die Bedienung gebeten hat, nimmt sie das Glas, keine Entschuldigung nichts. Das Essen war nicht gut, wird daheim besser zubereitet. Und als beim abräumen die Frage kam wie es war und man ihr sagte was wirklich unpassend war sagte sie nur „Wenn sie meinen und ging“. Ein Paradebeispiel dafür das sie von Gastronomie sowie den Umgang mit Kritik und Gästen leider ungeeignet ist und schadhaft für das Geschäft ist. Nie wieder und absolut unglaublich wie die im TripAdvisor so gelistet sein kann.

The staff was super nice and you could pay by card. The food was average. The pizza and the pasta were okay but not a highlight. The prices are good. Already cheap.

Actually zero stars, unfortunately that's not possible. Rude to no end. You get yelled at and told not to come back. If you ask what the names on the bill should be, you will also be shouted at. Food is not allowed to be shared. I used to enjoy going there, but the last two times have become increasingly rude. Problems with the business are not surprising. I have no idea what happened to the boss that made him like this. Unfortunately, we can also confirm the reviews about smoking.

I don't usually write reviews, but this time it's serious: it's about serious fraud and discrimination against deaf people (audism). My father, who only knows sign language, wanted to make us happy for my baby's birthday and take our little family (5 people) to a restaurant. The food was mediocre (the potatoes were undercooked) but when my father went to the checkout to secretly pay, the bill was €275, which shocked him. He needed my help and asked if the price was normal. When I walked in the bill only said €175 instead of €275. The employee tried to excuse it that it was a system error etc and I paid. Then I examined the invoice closely and discovered that there was indeed fraud. We had ordered a Dolci Misto as per the menu which costs €12. However, the bill showed €12 twice for dolci misto and a dessert. The restaurant tried to use both names, once in Italian and once in German. When I asked the waiter about it, he yelled at us because we were deaf. We asked him several times to respond in writing, but he refused and continued to scream. The whole situation hurt us a lot and we left the restaurant. At home we were deeply hurt. We had never experienced such discrimination and fraud, especially on this special day for my baby. It was really a shame. A few months ago I picked up a pizza there in the evening and saw an older man smoking in the restaurant, close to the food and cutlery. This didn't seem hygienic or legal to me and we would report it to the health department if necessary.

I discovered pizza with gorgonzola and chanterelles. My idea was soft mushrooms on a pizza. Not even close. A pleasure. The mushrooms were fresh, crunchy and large, nestled in the gorgonzola. You have to try it, super tasty. Afterwards a long-lasting treat....... We are already looking forward to the next visit. If you want to enjoy delicious, typical Italian cuisine in a friendly atmosphere, Francesco is the perfect place for you. The dishes are not only a delight in terms of taste, but also visually. The changing daily menu is also special. In summer we recommend reserving a table for the terrace. In the restaurant you should take the time to look at the many Italian retro photos on the walls. Man spürt, dass man dort gerne ein guter Gastgeber ist. Sehr gute Arrabiata Penne! Ein gutes Stück Italien in Berlin-Staaken.

We ordered through Lieferando and very disappointing, the pizza would certainly have been good if it hadn't been cold. But the lasagne was the worst thing I have tasted and seen in the last 50 years. A solid, muddled, barely identifiable mass with a terrible taste. A dry slice drowned in sauce, served like dog food. It seemed like everything was old and warmed up in the microwave. The broccoli also tasted like everything but broccoli.

We tried to eat there twice. Unfortunately in vain. The opening times mentioned are not correct. At one point everything was locked and barricaded. On the second attempt at 1:50 p.m. everything was locked and it wasn't opened for us. We won't try it again now.

The food was tasteless and burnt, after complaining about a burnt dish we were brought a burnt pizza! We really didn't feel like it anymore and complained about it. When I asked if it would otherwise be ok, I also complained about the carbonara (which only consisted of cream and pasta). We were then completely ignored! The boss walked past and I touched his arm because I wanted the bill, whereupon he slapped my hand away and insulted us with the words: Leave and never come back!!!!!! Aggressive and uncritical!!! My adult son was standing at the counter watching this and he also wanted the bill but he was completely ignored!!! Even one star is still too many!!!! My daughter-in-law and I got up and went towards the exit to my son, the boss was standing in the counter area and yelled at the waiter that he wasn't allowed to take any money from us!!! I was and am completely shocked!!! We gave the waiter 20 euros and left!! Never again will anyone from our family set foot in this trattoria!!!!!

Pizza ist super. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis beim Essen passt absolut. Nur das Ambiente ist nicht berauschend. Fleckige Tischdecken, dreckige Wände, man fühlt sich nicht so wohl. Der Service ist o.k.

Kamen hungrig aus Schweden zurück und wollten gut essen. Obwohl wir außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten kamen, wurden wir herzlich empfangen und bekamen ein super leckeres Essen. Alle italienischen Klassiker waren zu wirklich zivilen Preisen auf der Karte zu finden: riesige Pizzen, Pasta und Fleisch- und Fischgerichte. Das Ambiente ist klassisch und rustikal - insgesamt sehr gemütlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Zu Stoßzeiten voll, ohne Reservierung geht nix. Aber das ist das Essen und das Ambiente allemal wert! Italienisches Essen wie es sein sollte.
