What a wonderful restaurant at Südstern! Extremely attentive service, delicious food, and lovely seating both inside and outside, hence the many, many regular customers. In addition to the regular menu, there are excellent daily specials, with some experimental twists. Currently, for example, there's the marinated carpaccio with chanterelle mushrooms or a caramel mascarpone mousse with sea salt flakes. Plus, an excellent wine selection—what more could you want?

The average rating is, to put it mildly, a misconception. Maybe people in Berlin have no idea what real Italian pasta tastes like. I was looking for a good carbonara, but I found an abomination. This dish had nothing in common with carbonara. Even the Aperol was mediocre. Perhaps the worst part is that the place was packed, and on top of that, it tries to present itself at a higher level. I strongly advise against it.

This Italian restaurant is simply a dream for connoisseurs! The atmosphere is authentic and cozy – the moment you enter, you feel like you're on a mini-vacation in Italy. The team welcomes guests warmly and ensures that every wish is fulfilled with great attention. The food is outstanding: whether homemade pasta, crispy pizza, or fresh fish – everything is prepared with passion and high-quality ingredients. The wine selection is excellent and perfectly complements the dishes. The dessert – such as a light and airy tiramisu – is also not to be missed. The value for money is absolutely perfect. You always leave the restaurant full, happy, and with the firm intention of returning soon. A clear recommendation for all lovers of Italian cuisine!

This Italian restaurant impresses with its finesse, friendliness, and humor. I love coming here just for the people. But the food is so incredibly delicious. The tagliatelle al salmone was so flavorful. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the lobster cream sauce was perfect in both taste and consistency. To finish, the chocolate mousse... Fantastic... We've been here four times, and each time the food has been a heavenly delight and worth every cent.

In our opinion, some dishes are very well cooked, while others are rather boring.

A delight from start to finish! A visit that was absolutely worth it! The steak was tender as butter, cooked to perfection, and perfectly complemented by the melted butter. The accompanying vegetables were fresh, aromatic, and wonderfully complemented the meat. The salad was fresh and lovingly prepared, a wonderful complement to the main course. The fish soup appetizer was intensely flavorful, well-balanced, and rounded off the meal perfectly. The service was attentive and warm. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Anyone who enjoys delicious Italian cuisine will love Primo. I've never eaten a more delicious pizza. The rump steak is also highly recommended; so tender and perfectly cooked. I've celebrated friends' or family members' birthdays there a few times and arranged it with the owner. There was a sweet surprise with Happy Birthday music and a delicious dessert with a sparkler, and warm congratulations from the waiters. Very friendly staff and the most delicious food; highly recommended.

This small Italian restaurant impresses with its absolutely fantastic pizzas, fantastic service, and the wonderful little Südstern beer garden, a perfect place to linger. The staff are dedicated to their work. Special requests and extras are always readily accommodated.

Authentic, warm and simply delicious – our new favorite Italian restaurant in Berlin! The two of us have now been to this small Italian restaurant twice and absolutely loved it both times. We were warmly welcomed on our first visit - the staff is attentive, friendly and creates a relaxed and beautiful atmosphere. The menu is not overloaded but offers a well-selected mix of classic Italian dishes. We can particularly recommend the fresh pasta. Each guest is even given a slice of bruschetta in advance - very tasty! The wine selection is also perfect - you can tell that quality is important here. On the second visit we almost felt like regular guests - the team remembered us and again took a lot of time to give personal recommendations. Conclusion: If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine with heart in Berlin, you should definitely stop by here. We'll definitely be back!

An excellent place to go. It has very good value for money. The food was wonderful. We ordered two pasta dishes and they were wonderful, very authentic. They are also super detail-oriented, they give you a delicious complimentary appetizer. I ordered a delicious Aperol. The service is wonderful, as I said, very attentive, kind and friendly. In addition, the place is super well located, very quiet and pleasant. It is perfect for a romantic dinner as a couple, to go out to eat with friends or even with family.

We just managed to get a spot in the evening, so on a warm summer evening you should definitely make a reservation. I ate a Pizza Tonno and it was very good. You feel like you're in Italy. The staff is very friendly, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is also appropriate.

We ended up here spontaneously. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The restaurant has a nice, quiet outdoor area. The restaurant is also stylishly decorated inside. What is particularly positive is the excellent service. The staff was always friendly and very accommodating. We also really enjoyed the food. We also liked the well-designed menu. The selection is not too small or too large and the menu is very well maintained, which, in contrast, we increasingly notice negatively in various other restaurants. The only small point of criticism we have to mention is the toilets. Even though everything was very clean, the outdated design with chipped joints etc. doesn't fit with the modern and loving furnishings of the restaurant itself. There might be potential for optimization here. Overall, it was still a perfect evening for us with good value for money. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Berlin!

We were there for the public viewing.. The food is mediocre and tastes a bit better than cheap fast food, but definitely NOT authentic Italian. Service is very very very slow and actually not good. Pity. We would have to constantly look for the waiters, otherwise no one would come.

Super tasty and upscale Italian cuisine. A la carte and daily menu are constantly changing. Highly recommended...italiano vero...Renato's team is great and you get fantastic service and care. It is now being shown in the garden for the European Championships and the World Cup. Great!!!

The food -- I had a Pizza Quattro Stagioni and salad, my friend had Tagliatelle con Pollo -- was all delicious. But even better than the food was the service: friendly and extremely attentive without being overbearing, and overall just very professional and efficient. It was the small touches that made a real difference. Before this meal, I had never anywhere before been served a separate glass of ice, with tongs, to make my water exactly as cold (or not) as I liked. Plus we were surprised and delighted by complimentary mini bruschettas to start our meal and shots of limoncellos to cap it off. We both felt lucky to have wandered in and we would most definitely return if today weren't our last day here. A top-notch experience!
