What an Italian Italian restaurant… it was like stepping into an Italian fairytale. The food was amazing, and the way the waiters spoke was simply Italian… Just to be here, 300 km is a worthwhile trip. Thank you to this team for our wonderful experience.

The food was wonderful, the ambiance in this beautiful restaurant was fantastic, and the service was impeccable. You can spend a very pleasant evening here, and the value for money is perfect.

I've been coming here regularly for a year now. The team, both in service and in the kitchen, is fantastic. The food is of a very high standard, and that doesn't just apply to pizza and pasta. My little daughter loves it here, too, especially because of the attentive and child-friendly staff. You can sit inside or on the terrace.

Disappointing Experience with 60 People – Chaos Instead of Hospitality We were at the Trattoria Toscana in Berlin-Grunewald with around 60 people as part of a choir tour – actually a restaurant that, according to the website, "seats approximately 120 guests." To ease the pressure on the kitchen, we had made advance reservations: About half of the group opted for communal platters (vegetarian or meat), while the other half ordered à la carte, some of them also in advance. However, once we got there, only the à la carte guests were promptly invited in. The rest of the group – around 30 people – had to wait outside the restaurant for over 40 minutes, hungry and without any information. There was no communication from the staff during this time. When we were finally invited in, the others had already received drinks and some of their food. The table allocation seemed to be the problem – but still no reason for such poor organization. The drink prices were extremely high (e.g., soft drinks only in 0.2l), and tap water wasn't offered at all. After more than 1.5 hours, the first meat platters arrived, followed by another half hour of the "vegetarian" platters, each with three dishes – one of which turned out to contain mussels, another a beef sauce. An absolute no-go for an explicitly vegetarian order! Only much later – by which time most people were already full or had long since left – did the proper vegetarian pasta dishes finally arrive. The quality was disappointing: carelessly prepared penne with tomato sauce and a strange-smelling vegetable dish. The platters cost 3x20€ each, so-so... The service seemed consistently overwhelmed; questions were either left unanswered or dismissed with a "I don't know, is this vegetarian?" An apology or even a discount for the chaos? None. The crowning glory, at some point, arrived the dessert platter (pre-ordered – otherwise I would have left long ago). The taste was okay, but again, three small portions for €21 were completely unjustified. Conclusion: A complete mess with poor organization, a lack of communication, and completely overpriced prices. It's a shame to ruin a lovely evening – something like this shouldn't happen to a restaurant of this size.

A super delicious, authentic, and friendly Italian restaurant. They tempt you with every course, and every course is worth it. The homemade bread, bruschetta, pizza Toscana, and dessert schnapps/liqueurs are especially recommended.

We sat outside under the beautiful trees on a Saturday. At first, we were a little worried about the noise from the street, but this was completely unfounded. The service was quick and attentive. The pizzas were delicious. We'll be back!

I was invited to dinner and didn't know YVONNE Trattoria Pizzeria Toscana before. As soon as you leafed through the menu, it became clear that professionals were at work here - a whole page full of awards from gourmet food competitions. Of course that raised expectations. I then decided on the “Pizza Italiana” – the most expensive on the menu and with ingredients such as thinly sliced ​​Argentine beef fillet, truffles, truffle oil, parmesan, rocket… really the finest. When the waiter brought the pizza, I had the feeling that he was really happy that I had chosen this pizza - as if he wanted to say: "You made the right decision." And that's exactly what it was. The pizza was simply incredibly good. In terms of taste, it's a real stunner, perfectly balanced, the highest quality ingredients - I was seriously thinking about ordering a second one straight away. Conclusion: The pizza convinced me across the board. If you're looking for top-level Italian cuisine, this is the place for you.

I recommend this to anyone looking for a homely, cozy, non-pretentious authentic Italian experience. We decided to grab a quick meal on Valentines day and the restaurant accommodated us even though we had no reservation. And how lucky were we! It is just the most cozy, friendly, warm and authentic Italian restaurant ever. All the staff are Italian and it just seems like you entered their home. They are extremely kind, professional and fast. You can tell they put a lot of care into the food! We ordered soup and pizza and everything was so fresh and delicious! 10/10!

Very good cuisine. A bit expensive, but authentic and not convenient food

The service was extremely unprofessional and poorly organized. We had to wait far too long for our order, while guests who arrived after us were served faster. The staff didn't seem serious and didn't seem to care about us. The wait was unreasonable and the entire experience was frustrating. Such behavior is unacceptable in the catering industry and unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. I hope the management takes measures to improve the service.

Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Abend in der Trattoria Toscana. Unser Besuch in Berlin dauerte nur 2 Tage und wir suchten nach einem Restaurant in der Nähe unseres Hotels. Es war ein richtiger Glücksfall für uns 5 hier gelandet zu sein: nicht nur das Essen war köstlich und appetitlich zubereitet, auch der sizilianische Keller war super freundlich und humorvoll und ließ keinen unserer speziellen Wünsche offen. Die Krönung des Abends war dann ein kleines Restaurant-Konzert aus dem Stand heraus, denn der Kellner war auch ein wunderbarer italienischer Sänger! 5 von 5 Punkten von uns 5!!!

A very successful visit. Service was very friendly and attentive, we never had to wait too long. Atmosphere is super cosy. Portions are HUGE. They have actual bread in Florentine style - no salt. So, pretty authentic. And the food tastes amazing. I highly recommend their fish a soup to everyone.

The atmosphere here is very good. We were here with a larger group. The service was OK, but there were minor language difficulties. The food came at the same time for everyone and my scampi pizza was really tasty and worth the €20. What I didn't like was the prices for the drinks. €7 for a 05l beer is a new high for me.

Great pizza, light, crispy dough and never the feeling of having eaten a cartwheel. Happy service and love for dogs. I was very happy when it reopened after the Corona period ❤️

Recommended Italian restaurant with very nice waiters.

Great food – I had caprese salad with buratta and pasta with gorgonzola and beef. I can especially note the soft somewhat sweet buratta very similar to what you would find in Italy. The portions are enormous – despite all attractiveness of the desert list, we really could not finish our mains. The interior is slightly old-fashioned and clearly rustic, but it is authentic enough to actually be an advantage. Unlike many places in the wealthier areas of Berlin, we felt comfortable as younger non-local guests and the service was totally friendly. Does not come cheap (pizza starts at 12.5 euro, pasta was 26 euro, buratta was 16 euro), but that is Grunewald for you.

I recently ate at an Italian restaurant in Berlin and it was an amazing experience. The freshness and quality of the food rivals the best restaurants in the city. The location is quiet and exceptional, providing a peaceful atmosphere for dining. The restaurant's decoration is unique and something rarely seen these days

Good bye. I like this business so much. I came across this Italian rather by chance. To my surprise, I immediately felt at ease when I noticed on the menu that they actually offer real spaghetti carbonara. If you try the calzone on your next visit you will understand why my rating can only be perfect.

We can only recommend the trattoria and enjoy coming to eat at regular intervals. The food is very tasty, coffee specialties are tastefully prepared here and the tiramisu still deserves its name here. Particularly noteworthy is the Pizza Italiana, the taste is simply outstanding! The service is very good and always in a good mood, which always rounded off our visits positively. There is always a place for our dog with some water provided.

Nice service, but unimaginatively put together and bland tasting pizza, where every extra (chilli, capers) is charged at 1.20 euros. The terrace, located on a large street, offers only moderate enjoyment due to noise and exhaust fumes. In the end, far too expensive for what is offered.

I have been a customer here for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. The quality of the food is always very high and of consistent quality. This applies to all pizza, pasta and meat dishes. The closure of the restaurant due to Corona was difficult to bear. Even if the pizza is not baked in a forno di legno, or wood-fired oven, as is often the case in Italy, it is still a traditionally made pizza. The basis is the handmade yeast dough. You can be upset about the prices complained about here, but it's probably not justified. The ingredients are of high quality and the prices for them have risen extremely in Italy and Germany. The operator cannot be blamed for the fact that this is reflected in the offer price.

Ich freue mich, daß dieses Lokal wieder in alter Qualität offen ist. Für mich wie ein nach Hause kommen. Bin seitdem wieder öfter da. Werde gut bedient. Alle sehr freundlich und die verschiedensten Gerichte schmecken sehr gut!! Es ist einfach schön dort zu sitzen und zu geniessen. Jetzt sind einige Monate vergangen und ich bin immer wieder sehr freundlich bedient worden. Alles, ob von der Speisekarte oder besonderen Tagesgerichten, hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Jeder hat ein anderen Geschmack. Mein Favorit zur Weihnachtszeit waren Jakobsmuscheln auf Blattspinat in Safransauce und dazu einen Lugani Wein. Es hat mir so gut geschmeckt, daß ich es gleich zweimal an zwei Tagen bestellt habe. Für die Kinder wird vor Ort Zuckerwatte zubereitet. Ansonsten, ob Spaghetti oder Steinofenpizza alles schmeckt gut. Mein Favorit: Pizza mit Scampi z.B. oder Spaghetti mit Öl, Knoblauch und Chilli z.B. Wenn zum guten Essen auch noch die Athmosphäre stimmt auch unter dem Personal ist es wunderbar.

Sobald man das Restaurant betritt, fühlt man sich wohl. Es ist urig und gemütlich eingerichtet und die Begrüßung durch das Personal ist herzlich. Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich und die Speisen waren super lecker. Neben allem Lob muss aber auch erwähnt werden, daß das gesamte Angebot recht hochpreisig angesiedelt ist. Die Pizza hier ist zwar super lecker. Aber das gibt es woanders auch für gut 5€ weniger. Dennoch, für einen Abend mit guten Freunden werden wir gerne wieder kommen!

Das Restaurant ist gut. Netter, aufmerksamer Service und die Pizza schmeckt auch. Jedoch: Exzessiv teuer. Für zwei Pizzen mit Schinken und zwei Softdrinks überschreitet man die 50€. Eine einfache Pizza mit Schinken und Rucola liegt hier bei knappen 20€… Am Ende des Tages bleibt es hauptsächlich Teig mit Tomatensauce. Und ja, bestimmt guter Teig und gute Tomatensauce aber dennoch m.E unverhältnismäßig. Übrigens auch im Vergleich zum restlichen Angebot in der Gegend. Da bekommt man teilweise richtige Fleisch- und Fischgerichte für den Preis einer Pizza hier.
