Antica Roma Treptow in Berlin

It was a very pleasant evening with good food and friendly service.

Delicious 36cm pizzas, pasta, and meat with fresh vegetables. Owner "on the ball."

The restaurant looks inviting and invites you. However, we had to speak to a waiter 5 times and wait 20 minutes before we could place the order...point deducted I ordered my food from the table next door because of the way it looked and was then negatively surprised at my plate...The mountain of vegetables on the "sample plate" was high, manageable for me and my friend: 4 half mini rosemary potatoes, 2 cold cauliflower florets and about 10 green beans... Upon request, we were immediately given some of the beans...WHY so different? Not enough vegetables cooked, and then reduced? The finale: after we had eaten and had to wait what felt like an eternity before we could express our desire to pay, we actually had to justify that we wanted to pay separately...!¡! After another 10 minutes we were able to pay and at the end the sentence was pressed in: the table is already reserved, we should hurry up....WTF... Was the waiter trying to kid us?!? I then spoke to a colleague and complained on site! The delay is on the part of the company because 2-3 employees were not able to serve the terrace, and we still have to apologize for that... Nevertheless, the food was very tasty and recommended! So if you like bad service with really good food, this is the place for you!

In the realm of Donni The round dish that lovely Donni served me was absolutely delicious - a sun wheel made of dough, so hot as if it had been baked in dragon fire! The cheese melted like a maiden's heart at Minnesong, the topping was richer than the king's treasure. Donni, a squire with the smile of a saint and the speed of a messenger on horseback, was very fond of me. I left the tavern full, happy - and with five sparkling stars in my hand!

Great pizza with a crispy base and my highlight is the salt at the bottom of the dough. The salt sits on the tongue and makes the pizza super flavorful.

We were there spontaneously on May 1st in a large group and not only were we served very nicely and quickly, we also all received the main course at the same time. Gladly again! Only recommended

We were here for lunch yesterday (April 28th, 2025) with our tour group. It was freshly prepared, tasty and appetizingly presented. The service fulfilled our wishes promptly and in a friendly manner.

We were there with a large number of guests on a company outing. The food was okay, the service was a bit overwhelmed given the number of guests, even though the visit had been announced and planned.

Went to the trattoria with a group of 20 students. Despite a few failures (no/only a drink ordered, etc.), the landlord was very understanding. We ate well for a fair price.

Unfortunately we have to pay EXTRA if we want to eat olive oil for that.

Unfortunately, the food was nothing special, tomato mozzarella was very tasteless and felt like it came from a discount store, beef was good, unfortunately a bit drowned in the cream sauce. The scampi unfortunately had some intestines and individual tails in the sauce. Price was reasonable.

The side dishes for the pork medallion were quite cold. Service was good, though, except for one dish that came too few, and the person had to wait. The pizza was a bit light on toppings.

While looking for an Italian restaurant near the train station and Treptower Park, I came across Antica Romana. Of course I had already driven past... Overall, I am very positively surprised and very satisfied. My guest was also happy. Successful premiere. Of course I will come by again...

If you want a salami pizza, you'll get a very spicy salami pizza. The facilities were okay. When the place is full, it's quite loud.

The two of us were at Antica Roma this evening. Although there were seats available, we were seated at a table right in front of the entrance gate. When asked to get another table, they said everything was reserved. After us, other guests arrived who had not made reservations and another waiter assigned them two-man seats in the inner area. I told the waiter that I didn't think it was okay since we came earlier. He claimed that the guests had made reservations, which wasn't true because we overheard the conversation at the door. When we ordered a pizza to share, we were given a breakfast plate as a second place setting. Probably revenge because we said something. The food was very good, but the service was not. :-(

This is how I imagine Italian hospitality, it was great, the food was delicious!

We stopped here by chance and were 100% positively surprised. The very courteous waiter explained every question to us and so we decided on homemade pasta with porcini mushrooms and homemade pasta with wild boar and were overwhelmed by the taste. For dessert we had a creme brûlée for two... We will definitely come back!!!! Thank you for your hospitality!!!

Rude staff. As soon as we gave the order, the waiter asked us in a way we couldn't understand if we were going to pay with cash or credit card. Then they wanted to charge us extra because we asked for balsamic vinegar twice to put on the bruschetta. I have never had such a humiliating restaurant experience in my life. Never again👎👎👎

Nice outdoor patio. Antipasti della casa finely prepared with high-quality ingredients. White wine way too warm! When I criticized this, I was offered ice cubes. Service is different. Too bad!

Very nice restaurant right at the entrance to Treptower Park. The pizza with ham was good, just a little too big for me. The scaloppina with wine sauce was wonderful. We will come back.

Food was okay and tasted good, had liver, but for this price I was expecting a larger portion, there was so little so I had to go get a pizza on the way home, very strong need to catch up, looked like a children's portion, beer It was OK and the service was always quick.

After a pedal boat trip on the Spree, we stopped here at lunchtime because others wrote comments about the “best pizzeria”. I can only rate two items on the menu, “Mixed Salad Pollo” and Lasagna. Both were mega... The salad is crisp and fresh, with a creamy and fruity dressing. The chicken strips were fried/seasoned very tasty. The lasagna impressed with its creamy sauce and the fine balance of the ingredients. The neat layering of the whole thing completed the enjoyment. Thanks to the kitchen… 👍

No good service on the phone, barely understand German. We wanted to rent the restaurant for a group of 60 people and asked about the large parking lot opposite the restaurant, but were rudely refused. That doesn't work at all. 👎

Nice outside tables and friendly staff. The lasagne was still cold in the center and it was very busy so difficult to get the waiters attention to remedy the dish issues.

Today we spontaneously decided to visit the Italian restaurant Trattoria Antica Roma, Am Treptower Park. We arrived at 1:45 p.m. and were warmly welcomed. There was a reasonably priced lunch menu, we weren't disappointed!!!!.....on the contrary. My Nocciolina pizza for 10€ was soooo big and very tasty!!!!, for 1.50m€ extra there was super fresh ruccola.....and Pollo al Pepe Verde...chicken breast fillet with green pepper etc. - also great , €13.90. We paid by card, which many restaurants "avoid"...and - of course the tip was "cash" - given in cash. It's definitely not the last time we've had a delicious meal there. Try it out yourself!

My daughter wanted to cook for me. And since I like to drink red wine and she has just had a baby and doesn't have any wine at home, she went to the Antica Roma restaurant and wanted to buy a good bottle of red wine to take away. The waiter looked at her and said: the wine is expensive! My daughter then said, how much is he? He said 32.50 euros and added: not like Netto!! Ah ok. Even though it was a bit expensive, she still wanted to buy it. Then he turns around and returns and says he doesn't have any red wine! Huh?? No red wine at the Italian restaurant? I have to say that my daughter is dark-skinned - and I suspect that's why she was treated like that. She also helped the store with its homepage and owns restaurants herself. A tip to the waiter: No matter what someone looks like, you should treat everyone the same...

Horrible experience. The place was full, I get it, but we ordered sparkling water to drink and still it took the waiter around 30 min to bring that (after being reminded of it, of course). Then we waited for another 20 minutes to get the food we ordered. The pasta I ordered was honestly terrible. Tasteless. Very bland. Then another 10-15 minutes to get the check and pay. I'll never set foot on the place again. The only good thing about this place is the location :( (right in front of Treptower Park).

Coffee is from the automated machine. Design of the restaurant outside is more German than Italian. Check the invoice before you pay.

Well, what can I say. The young lady who was supposed to serve us was extremely rude. First spoke in bad German and then got angry that we couldn't understand them. We wanted to order immediately because it was hot and we were traveling with children, grandma and grandpa and knew what we wanted. Then this cheeky girl told us that we had to wait. Instead of saying sweetly "I'll be with you in a moment" such a cheeky answer, even to my mother, an older person. After being ignored for twenty minutes, we left without ordering anything. On the way out the waitress came towards us and was visibly happy. Well, the way you hire and train is how you earn. With an experience like this, I prefer to order. Never again Antica Roma!

Very friendly, quick service. Large selection of dishes including several children's meals. There are several children's chairs for the little ones. Food is always great here! Decent portions, reasonable price. I will gladly come again.

I can't imagine a better place to stop off with your hunchbacked relatives for a few pleasant hours. The three ladies from the service were so incredibly welcoming and warm to our family celebration that I will have fond memories of the store for a long time. Our birthday “child” was very happy about the spontaneous surprise <3 The food was also really good, all dishes (with or without meat) tasted very good.

There were three of us on April 2nd. We ate in the restaurant unannounced and were totally thrilled. The service was great, the food tasted delicious and we would like to give even more stars if we could. We would particularly like to highlight the friendly and cool service, and the ambience also met our expectations. When a birthday surprise came, that was the cherry on top. We'll definitely come back, all in all it was great.

Please don't eat here!!! The boss/waiter was terrible. He greeted us very rudely and made us feel very uncomfortable. After he insulted us, he followed my companion to the toilet and harassed him while(!) he was using the toilet. We had to argue loudly in front of customers. We left because of the disrespect.

There were three of us in the trattoria today, we had a table reservation and were served very friendly and courteously. For the starters, there was even a recommendation that the desired version was very extensive and would therefore be recommended as a main course, so a smaller replacement version was offered, which then turned out to be exactly the right fit. The main courses were optimal in quantity and excellent in taste, presentation and price. We would love to come back. Thank you.

We went again as a larger group of 7 people because we liked it on the first visit. Now, the second time around, we feel like we've been ripped off. Because we needed some time to choose the food, the waiter recommended antipasti as a starter. My wife said: “Yes, but only one plate.” Then they came with two large antipasti starter plates and I thought: “Okay, then two times 13.90 euros.” That’s about as far as it would have gone. The sad highlight was the bill, where we were charged 10.90 euros times 7 people (including two children who didn't eat much starter). If a child pays around 7 euros for a children's meal, but 10.90 euros for the starter - is that fair? Is the price transparent? When we complained, we were told that we had already been given the 10.90 euros because the menu said 13.90 euros and that we had finished eating, so we would have enjoyed it. Have a good meal. That's why - even if the food is good overall - I still have an extremely negative aftertaste. Unfortunately that was my last visit!

We came here spontaneously, even though we didn't find the restaurant that appealing from the outside. We were even more surprised at how pretty the restaurant is inside! Totally lovingly furnished. The waiter was very nice and accommodating. I ate the best beef liver of my life here and the pizzas are also highly recommended! We can 100% recommend this restaurant.

Nice decor, not so kitschy Italian but elegant. Service was very nice, although our waiter made one or two mistakes. But it wasn't half as wild. Unfortunately, the food was more typical "let's cook something that the Germans understand as Italian" Anyone who has ever been to any restaurant in Italy can immediately see that the food here has nothing to do with Italy. Bruschetta was prepared carelessly - I know it with bread toasted in olive oil, perhaps spread with garlic to make it nice and hearty. Here it was a bit of bread with tomato salad. Ragut was also more cream than ragut. Ragut is actually left to cook in a pot for hours until it is bursting with flavor. Here was some beef with cream and an alibi of tomatoes. So unfortunately unfortunately unfortunately the food was very mediocre. But unfortunately somehow standard for German conditions. Therefore, if you like the normal Italian restaurant around the corner, you will be satisfied here.

Wow to było naprawdę wyjątkowe miejsce. Zupa rybna była naprawdę przepyszna. Reszta dan tez nam smakowało. Kelner który nas obsługiwał był bardzo miły, przyjazny i uśmiechnięty. Naprawdę czuliśmy się jak w domu. Polecam!

We did a spur of the moment 2nd Christmas Day late lunch here and it didn't disappoint. Really welcoming my little dog, ans brought her some water as well. Super nice and delicious food!! 10/10 recommend!

Sehr lecker und authentisch. Alles frisch gemacht und in sehr gutem preislichen Rahmen. Die Bedienung ist herzlich und das Ambiente sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Man ist nicht zu eingepfercht und auch die Belüftung erscheint ordentlich, so dass die Kleidung hinterher nicht nach Küche riecht. Ich empfehle Linguini con Scampi :-)

Es ist immer wieder eine Freude, in ein Restaurant einzukehren, das es schafft, einen gelungenen Tag perfekt ausklingen zu lassen. Das Antica Roma Treptow ist eines dieser Restaurants. Perfektes Ambiente, noch perfekterer und freundlicher Service und natürlich super leckeres Essen! Ich selbst hatte Ravioli gefüllt mit Kürbis und Kartoffeln in Salbei-Zitronen-Sauce, eine absolute Gaumenfreude!
