We really enjoy going to November. We always sit at the chef's table because it's incredibly exciting to watch the two sushi masters at work. The menu has a few Instagram classics that others come for, and otherwise changes regularly and is full of surprises! My personal tip for fine dining is that you have to take your pants off. PS: The team is super friendly, very well-groomed, and discreet.
We live in Köpenick and often see people sitting for hours with just a coffee. Today, at 16:30, my son wanted a Batura, so we stopped by. With only one customer inside, I decided to order two and even planned to tip.
But the waiter—who seemed like the boss with his bossy attitude—immediately gave us a rude look. When the Batura arrived, he loudly scolded us, saying, “Next time don’t just order Batura and sit here. We don’t make money from it, and others might copy you.” This public humiliation, in front of other customers, was shocking.
Eating the Batura took just 5 minutes, but those were the longest, most uncomfortable 5 minutes of my life. No tip. When my 4 y. son went to pay him, he didn’t even say goodbye—just started complaining loudly in Indian to the cooks with silly face saying “Batura, Batura.” which is mocking us obviously.
It was the worst service I’ve ever experienced. That rude attitude and “stinky” expression?
Never again as long as the male boss is there.
The guys behind the counter here are incredibly nice. Very kid-friendly. They serve freshly squeezed juice! I love the shawarma. The plates are generous. We always get our fill here.
Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was good, even if it wasn't really to my taste. The portions were quite large and generous. The ambiance fits the neighborhood.
Inexpensive, seemingly empty on weekends
Staff is mostly japanese, if you don't speak japanese may be a bit harder, idk.
Place is a bit cramped, tables are small, but quite comfortable if alone/duo
I would have loved to give it 5 stars, but the food brought the rating down a bit. Almost every dish was missing salt :/ and the Warenyky dough was a bit rubbery...
What I can definitely recommend, though, is the bacon plate (Salo) and the quark pancakes (Syrnyky) - they were great!!
Thank you for the excellent service ❤️
