CASH ONLY! Food ok, nothing great. Service is quite bad, one waitress (in a bad mood), but the unacceptable is to only take cash in the center of Berlin. Ca'mon, you are not in a village in the middle of nowhere. The same problem happened to the table next to mine. At least you should put a MAJOR SIGN saying you only take cash.

It’s fine. Nice people and friendly service. Probably should have chosen the specials but was not in the mood for gnocchi. Spaghetti were cooked to perfection, arrabbiata sauce wasn’t hot at all. Pino Grigio was the only open wine option for a white wine, and it was meh. Bruschetta tasted like they were designed with a German patronage in mind. So much potential here, and I’ll try again when I am back in the town.

We visited Berlin for 2 days. On the first evening we (2 adults 3 children) visited this small and charming Italian restaurant. We were very satisfied with the quality of the food and the friendly nature of the staff. So much so that our children urged us to eat here again on the second evening. On the second evening we were immediately recognized again, and the chef came straight to me and pointed out that he had the lasagne today, which had been sold out the night before. I didn't expect that and it makes you feel like you're coming home. I would be happy to give this a full rating. Thank you dear Vapori team for two lovely evenings with you.

Nice little Italian restaurant on a side street. The owners brought out two extra tables for us so we could sit outside even though we didn't have a reservation. The food was also extremely good and fairly priced. There is also enough choice for vegetarians. I deducted one star because you couldn't pay by card (as of May 23, 2024), alcoholic drinks weren't on the menu (but they were) and a pizza was incorrectly priced.

I went there with some of my friends while we were at a class trip and the food was so so delicious and everyone was soooo super nice to us! It was awesome!

Nice restaurant and nice staff. Pizza was tasty, but average for the price. I ordered carbonara myself, the pasta itself was delicious, but it was a far cry from carbonara with guanciale, pecorino romano and the traditional egg sauce.

They fixed a table for us despite it being late at night and many guests. Everyone in the party ordered pizza and everyone was happy with their choices. Can be highly recommended for the simple evening meal!

Tourist trap, not coming back. All the ordered food (pizza, pasta & lasagne) seemed like pre-made and frozen. The cherry on the top was the "bill" - random amount shown on the calculator app on a phone screen.

Absolutely 5 stars. Me and my friend are on a schooltrip to Berlin and were looking for a Italian place, we defenitely found it! It was easily the best pasta we have had in a while. The service was great, the people working there were so sweet too. Would defenitely recommend!

I was looking for a great pizza around Zoologischer Garten and I found it in Vapori! Danke und grazie mille! Pizza was soo Italian. As all magnificient things, Vapori's pizza looks so simple and humble, but with the first bite you feel the burst of flavour. It is soo tasty and it is huge. The atmosphere feels so Italian too. It was such a lovely place to be.

Sad pizza Frutti di Mare for "courageous" €14.90...the garlic/tomato sauce pasta with 3 beautiful mussels and toppings for €2.50 should be a decent pizza when it's big. The pizza was rather embarrassing, but the ambience was actually very nice.

Strange, the varying and also very negative reviews. Small Italian restaurant where we found the atmosphere pleasant. Service from the owner and I think his wife was good and the food (we had pizza and lasagna) was the same. The price didn't seem to exactly match the menu, but there was no more than 10%, so they could have that tip from me.

Very cozy little restaurant! I would definitely make a reservation for the evening, otherwise it can get very crowded. The food was very good and there is usually a daily menu with seasonal recommendations. The service is also very attentive! The only thing I complain about is that you can only pay with cash. Extremely slow service. The dishes all arrived at different times. We ordered pasta carbonara and it didn't have bacon. My salad never had parmesan cheese. Half of the food was junk, like French fries and fried calamari, never cooked in a restaurant. The explanation was that in Germany the dishes are different 🤷‍♀️

The food, starter and salad, bread, pizza, penne with very tasty tomato pesto, was all very good. What wasn't so good was that our jackets and clothes smelled terribly like food and you couldn't pay cashless.

Hallo, das kurzfristige Essen mit telefonischer Reservierung hat echt gut geklappt. Leider haben wir feststellen müssen, dass das mit dem Ambiente und der Freundlichkeit der Bedienung auch das einzige Gute war. Pizza war ok, jedoch nach dem dritten Stück auch schon echt kalt (kein langsamer Esser). Mit einer Zusatzgebühr von 3.50€ für 5 kleine Garnelen auch echt teuer. Tagliatelle bestellt, mit der Auswahl von zweier Nudelsorten als Antwort bekommen… Nudeln rausgesucht und auch für 1.90€ auf der Rechnung erschienen. Dazu wie üblich bei einem Italiener Parmesan bestellt und auch für das 1.90€ bezahlt. Alles in einem ein kleines Stübchen mit vielen Zusatzgebühren und nicht viel Getränkeauswahl… In Berlin…

Ich hatte Pizza Trüffel Carpaccio und es war sensationell. Selten eine so leckere Pizza gegessen. Das Lokal ist klein, aber sehr authentisch und gemütlich. Würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

Im Restaurant kann man leider mit GAR keiner Karte zahlen. Die pizza war gut, mit einem dünnen feinen Teig. Alles in allem ist das Restaurant ok, aber mitten in Berlin und keine Kartenzahlung ist schon ganz schön frech.

Wir konnten trotz Ende September noch draußen sitzen. Der Service und die Bedienung waren wirklich gut! Für unser Baby wurde direkt ein Hochstuhl organisiert und zwei Bücher als Beschäftigung gebracht, sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen war lecker. Hier gibt es einen Punkt Abzug, weil zwei der bestellten Gerichte nicht wie bestellt bzw wie vorgestellt waren. Eine Pizza wurde mit Champignons zubereitet, obwohl extra ohne bestellt. Und die Gemüsepizza ist mit Peperoni und Oliven belegt, während in der Beschreibung lediglich "Gemüse" steht. Kenne ich bislang so nicht. Aber die Pizzen generell sind sehr lecker. Das Restaurant an sich ist hübsch, leider steht es direkt an der Straße und man schaut direkt auf eine Großbaustelle.

Sehr lecker! Habe die Tortelini gegessen und vorab eine Tomaten Creme Suppe. War wirklich gut, komme sehr gerne wieder!

First thing - cash only. Second, I am basing my review on the positives of my experience because I dined here the night before the marathon and everywhere was so busy and understaffed. The service was outstanding. The only lady serving, taking orders etc deserves a round of applause because despite the madness, she remained so lovely and efficient. The chefs, who you can see from your table, worked tirelessly all night to deliver good food. I had the arrabiata and I can highly recommend. Pasta cooked to perfection (still had that bite) and the sauce was delicious. The restaurant is so cosy, with photos decorating the walls. Overall, despite the pre-marathon madness and long wait time for food, I would still come back.

Service really trying but don’t get in when they are busy. Food is as lame as ot can get. Industrial pasta and over cooked (i make better barilla at home), herbs and tastes were not formed . Simply not good.

Wir waren abends auf der Suche nach einem italienischem Restaurant und sind hier eher zufällig gelandet. Treffer!!! Sehr nettes kleines Restaurant mit leckerem Essen. Nudelgerichte und Pizza waren top! Prompter Service, nettes Ambiente nur ein paar Meter vom großen Trubel entfernt Wir sind am nächsten Abend gleich nochmal hin 👍 und haben das Lokal an Freunde weiterempfohlen. Beim nächsten Berlin-Besuch kommen wir auch wieder!

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Vom Salat bis zur Pizza war alles sehr sehr gut. Auch der Service und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und unterhaltsam. Die Location, genauso wie die Ambiente verschafften eine schöne Atmosphere. Sehr sehr zu empfelen.

Habe bei Lieferando bestellt, einen großen Salat 10,90€ die Schale minimal, 4 geviertelte Tomatenscheiben, 4 Gurkenscheiben, 3 romagna Salatblätter Hand voll Rucola öl drüber und die hänchenstreifen drauf die nicht ganz durch waren. Dazu Spagetti schinken Sahnesauce in der Tüte ausgelaufen, für ca. 10,50€ plus lieferkosten 3,99€ und servicegebühr 0,99€. sorry aber das ist eine Frechheit würde niemandem empfehlen dort zu bestellen.

Si ! At last! Just when Escobar was losing faith with the food in Berlin, Vapori comes to the rescue! We didn't have a reservation but we're warmly invited to take a table. I don't even think they knew how famous I am. Conversing in Italian was an added bonus. (I speak many languages, but Italian is I've of my favourites and one of my better ones) What did I choose to eat? Pizza Vapori of course. How could I go wrong. It was heaven. I make my own homemade pizzas at least once a week and have never thought of putting Creme Fraische on one before. It is genius! How lovely also to see the family eating together at their restaurant. A pleasant surprise also when the very reasonable bill came. Next time Escobar is in Berlin, Vapori is first on the list for a nice meal. I really don't understand why people are going to any of the other restaurants around here as most are rubbish by comparison. Thank you, Vapori, for welcoming me and my family and feeding us great food in your lovely restaurant.

We werden snel geholpen en het eten was lekker. We konden enkel niet met onze Nederlandse pas betalen, maar een stukje verder in de straat zit een pinautomaat.

Ein echter Geheimtipp in Berlin. Wer Pizza und Pasta liebt muss unbedingt hier her. Die Pizza ist ein Traum, wie im Urlaub. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich eingerichtet und das Personal ist vom Fach,sehr freundlich und flink. Das war mit Sicherheit nicht mein letzter Besuch. Ich habe noch nie so gut in Berlin gegessen, vielen Dank für den tollen Abend .

Klein und absolut gemütlich, ein sehr netter und zuvorkommender Chef sowie sehr aufmerksames Personal. Das Essen ist hervorragend, der Pizzateig kaum zu toppen! Absolut empfehlenswert. Angenehmes Ambiente und ein erholsam entschleunigender Flair, ein perfektes Kontra zu dieser hektischen Stadt, man fühlt sich wirklich wie in Italien. Es gibt sogar ein Aperitif, wenn kein Espresso, weil zu spät, dann sogar einen qualitativ hoch angesiedelten Tafelwein ;-) Sollte ich noch einmal nach Berlin kommen, dann ganz sicher wieder hier her. Wer hier herkommt macht nichts falsch! Alles Liebe an dieses wundervolle Team

Ich war kürzlich in diesem Lokal zu Gast und muss leider sagen, dass mein erster Eindruck nicht mit der Realität übereinstimmte. Obwohl der Ort viel Potenzial aufgrund seiner zentralen Lage zu haben scheint, konnte er mich letztendlich nicht überzeugen. Zunächst einmal vergingen ganze 15 Minuten, bis wir unsere Bestellungen aufgeben konnten, obwohl das Lokal nicht sonderlich überfüllt war. Diese Wartezeit allein ließ mich bereits an der Effizienz des Servicepersonals zweifeln. Doch damit nicht genug, denn als die Getränke endlich serviert wurden, vergingen weitere 25 Minuten. Eine solche Verzögerung ist inakzeptabel, insbesondere wenn die Gäste nicht darüber im Vorfeld informiert werden. Neben der enttäuschenden Servicequalität fielen mir auch die schmutzigen Tischdecken auf. Es ist bedauerlich, dass das Lokal nicht die nötige Sorgfalt aufbringt, um seine Tische angemessen zu präsentieren. Eine dreckige Tischdecke hinterlässt einen äußerst unhygienischen Eindruck und mindert das Gesamterlebnis erheblich. Auch geschmacklich konnte mich das Lokal nicht überzeugen. Der Campari Spritz, den ich bestellte, war alles andere als gelungen. Er schmeckte lediglich nach Wasser und enttäuschte mit seinem fehlenden Aroma. Darüber hinaus entpuppte sich auch die Pizza als enttäuschend. Im Vergleich zu einer einfachen Fertigpizza für 3,50 € hätte ich mir definitiv eine bessere Qualität erhofft. Alles in allem war mein Besuch in diesem Lokal enttäuschend. Die längeren Wartezeiten, fehlende Kommunikation seitens des Personals, schmutzige Tischdecken und enttäuschende Geschmackserlebnisse haben dazu beigetragen, dass ich meine Erfahrung hier als negativ empfinde. Angesichts des Potenzials, das dieses Lokal aufgrund seiner zentralen Lage hat, hoffe ich aufrichtig, dass Verbesserungen in Bezug auf den Service und die Qualität der Speisen vorgenommen werden, damit zukünftige Gäste ein angenehmeres Erlebnis haben können.

La comida buena, la pizza estaba rica , la carbonara buena pero no se acerca a la que comes en Italia aún siendo italiano el dueño y la lasaña buena. El local acogedor. Los precios un poco altos, pero sobre todo en las bebidas, un agua con gas 4'50 una barbaridad.

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend hier im gemütlichen Restaurant. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, bedient und beraten. Zudem war das Essen mehr als lecker! Leider kommen wir nicht aus Berlin, aber bei unserem nächsten Besuch in der Hauptstadt werden wir hier garantiert wieder hinkommen.

Das beste Bruschetta was ich bisher gegessen habe, die Calamari waren unglaublich frisch so wie der Salat. Sehr sauber!
