A small, very cozy restaurant. The pizza is freshly prepared. You can watch it being made. We haven't enjoyed such delicious pizza in a long time. Crispy, not at all greasy, and absolutely delicious. The service was very attentive and friendly. The prices are very reasonable. We'll definitely be back – it's already on our list for our next visit to Berlin.

I was here with my class on a school trip and ordered a salami pizza. I was delighted by the great atmosphere and the hearty food – highly recommended! ☺️

On our last visit to Berlin, we fell head over heels in love with this little place. It's more the size of a snack bar, but it's absolutely authentic, cozy, warm, and tastefully decorated. You feel like you're in a different place, far away from the big city. The kitchen is integrated into the dining area, giving the whole place a special atmosphere. It's not intrusive, there are no unpleasant smells, and it's not loud. Most importantly: the food—it couldn't have been better. It tasted even better than we'd hoped. The chef used just the right amount of garlic, spices, truffle oil—everything. The owners complete the experience for me. They also make themselves comfortable in the dining area. And who can blame them, given this beautiful spot? As soon as guests arrive, they get right to work with genuine warmth. And once everyone has been served and eaten, the owners sit down at their own table again, drinking, eating, and enjoying themselves. Sometimes their family joins them, too. They've created a wonderful place where they love to gather and everyone is welcome. The dining room, the kitchen, the guests, the owners, the food, the atmosphere...it all feels like a great community.

Such an unexpectedly good experience. Best Bolognese of my life!! I want to be able to cook it like that for you, then we'll have it at least every week. Alternatively, I'd eat here regularly, but unfortunately it's too far away. Give me the Bolognese recipe, I can't live without it anymore.... 🥹

We were there for the first time today and will definitely be back! A small but excellent restaurant with a cozy and charming atmosphere. We were extremely happy with our pizzas – delicious and reasonably priced. We could even watch them being prepared! Everyone there was incredibly friendly, and we felt right at home. :) Highly recommended, we're looking forward to our next visit!

Only 3 stars? ...Even though it tasted good? ...Yes, only 3 stars! Anyone running a restaurant in the center of Berlin in 2025 that doesn't accept any cards as payment should rethink their strategy. The number of cashless consumers is constantly increasing. That's simply a fact.

The food was amazing, very delicious. Its a small and very cute place, definitely would recommend for an intimate meal. The service staff were also quite nice!

Despite having made a reservation a few weeks earlier, the restaurant was full and the table was unreserved… After a few minutes of waiting, we were seated by a manager who was visibly overwhelmed, as was the sole cook behind the counter, preparing pizzas/pasta/salads all by himself! The evening was very long…a wait for the menu, a wait for drinks, and a very long wait for a salad and a pasta dish… A 1 hour and 15 minute wait for our meals! Fortunately, the dishes served met our expectations: delicious salads and al dente pasta :) I don't recommend this establishment the day before the marathon…the managers were overwhelmed and clearly not making the effort to have extra staff for the occasion. Another negative point: no credit card payments…

Authentic, cozy and very atmospheric little restaurant. We had a wonderful meal on our first night in Berlin. We decided to come back again the following evening.

My sports group and I had dinner there on Friday evening before running the Berlin Marathon on Sunday. The pasta was very good (we tried it with various toppings, including gnocchi), the pizza was decent (for Germany), the service was attentive, and the staff was kind and friendly. Reservations are recommended, as it's not a very large place. Highly recommended.

Its only cash which is not clear at all! Se had to walk to an atm they pointed is to and we ended up paying 33% more than the original Price.

A very nice, rustic atmosphere in a great location, just a few steps from KaDeWe. The food was delicious, especially the pasta, which was rich in fresh ingredients. The service was also excellent, and the price/performance ratio was completely reasonable. Overall, an absolute recommendation; we will definitely visit again.

Fabulous food and so welcoming for our son who has numerous allergies. They made him a pizza which was delicious and the gnocchi was the best I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend this quaint little place and the staff were lovely.

We were given a very warm welcome. A waiter immediately came over, greeted us, showed us to a table, and served us sensational pizza and pasta. It's definitely worth a visit. See for yourself. I can only recommend this place. The atmosphere here is simply lovely. I'm completely blown away, to be honest.

The food was cold when it arrived. The portion was tiny, and there was barely a scrap of veal. The service wasn't exactly friendly. When I mentioned that I'd received the wrong pasta, she asked if we should change it, but she seemed annoyed. The food was also a bit cold. But it was still tasty.

A pleasant surprise, just walked past and the little place caught my attention. It was a bit late and they were clearing some tables from previous customers. I had a scampi pasta, very tasty with lots of flavor and fresh herbs. Very happy and looking forward to sampling some more later. Service so so… Thank you

The pasta with beef strips and mushroom and red wine sauce was truly exceptionally good. I love how cozy the small and manageable the restaurant is, and how the smells from the kitchen waft over. Unfortunately, it's right on the main road, and you can hear it.

We entered the restaurant in a good mood and left disappointed. There were many minor things that weren't ideal, but generally didn't bother me (cash only, tables a bit small, no wine, waitresses sitting in the dining room eating and drinking alcohol). The food came quickly and was delicious, and I think the prices are also reasonable (for Berlin Mitte). However, I do think it's a shame that we had to ask every time we wanted to order a drink, etc. The final straw was just at the end. We really wanted to order dessert. The waitress brought us the menu and then disappeared. We waited 15 minutes, and when we looked around, the two ladies were sitting at the table eating and drinking. Everyone has to eat, and as a former waitress, I completely understand. But the fact that no one even came to the table to check and ask if we needed anything else, etc., is simply unprofessional. Especially the fact that the waitress brought us a menu and then simply didn't even glance at it was absolutely outrageous. Even when we looked around several times, no one responded. That was the first time in my life that I didn't tip AT ALL. A real shame

We were a larger group, very nice atmosphere, which compensates a bit for the fact that it is quite tight there, tasty food and nice service, a small minus for drinks like cola - served in glasses (without original bottles). Overall I recommend it

Cash only…which is very unfriendly to non-locals(no signs outside, only one small “no cash” sticker on their ordering machine)… I didn’t have a local card to withdraw money, and they let me and my friend wait for half an hour for payment while serving all the other guests. In the end, they told me to pay with PayPal after 30 minutes waiting 😓😓😓 RIDICULOUS 🤯

The food is good but the staff is very angry

Yesterday I ate here with my family for the first time and I have to say, it was delicious and the food was beautifully prepared. Had to share a pizza with my 3 year old granddaughter because the restaurant didn't have a children's menu. But this was also brought to us beautifully cut on our plates, with heart. Magnificent Italian restaurant. Nice, but small, we were lucky. They don't charge by card, only cash. The gnocci with asparagus were exceptional. Abundant portions. Highly recommended.

You feel welcome, like you're a regular, even if it's your first time there. The prices? Appropriate and fair – this is about quality rather than show, which is what I miss back home in Hanover. A small note: only cash payment is accepted, which was not obvious at first glance. No drama, because there is an ATM nearby and the team also finds individual solutions. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine without compromise, you've come to the right place. We'll definitely be back!

We were in the restaurant today at 3 p.m., the Bolognese sauce was the worst I've ever eaten. I have no idea why, but that shouldn't happen to an Italian.

I have never been to a better Italian restaurant. I really love it!!!🥰🥰🥰The waiters were very nice and we hardly had to wait for them. Many classics of Italian cuisine, such as pizza and pasta, were also on offer. The atmosphere among the guests was great and everyone had a lot of fun. I personally ordered a pizza salami piccante and I can only say one thing. It was really good 😋😋😋. The guests also found the dishes to be something very special. In conclusion, only one thing can be said: I am sure you will experience the authentic Italian cuisine in this restaurant.

We were looking for a quiet place and we found it, despite it being just a few meters from the busy Ku'damm. Pizza, pasta, environment, music and hospitality… all Italian! And of excellent quality! Highly recommended for those who want to feel at home.

We were there as a group of 4 on Monday for a late lunch. The meal (pasta and pizza) was served to us in about 10 minutes. The food was very tasty. Great! The service is not intrusive, so sometimes you have to remind them of your existence.

Four of us (2 adults and two children) ate at Vapori today and I have to say that I have never had such good Italian food as here!! We had several pizzas, pasta, bruschetta and tiramisu. Everything was super delicious and at a very fair price in such a central location. The service was very friendly and attentive and the restaurant was very clean. I am completely satisfied and will definitely come back. Thank you!!

Super friendly service and really good food, almost like in Italy, but unfortunately the weather in Berlin wasn't comparable. They have a great, not too big map with enough variety. For our children it was the best pizza they have ever eaten. So a visit is definitely worth it. Great ambience, great food and great prices. We'll definitely be back

At first impression it looks nice, until the food and with it the disappointment comes to the table (unfortunately not enough cutlery): our loveless starter plate consisted 100% of the cheapest offer from Aldi (!), with the dollop of pesto from the jar and the pickled tomatoes were definitely past their sell-by date. But it went well with the lukewarm Prosecco without bubbles at a proud price. On the way to the toilet you catch a glimpse of the storage room, which you don't want either. Disappointing.

SOOOO SWEET PEOPLE. So delicious food and so clean would give 10 stars but unfortunately that's not possible.

Unfortunately not a great experience. There were four of us. We ordered four Prosecco and antipasto platter. The Prosecco took already quite some time and was not fresh, no bubbles. Our antipasto platter took half an hour, it was really no warm food. The tomato pesto was off, so was the other pesto. The Salamis were obviously from a supermarket packet and looked really cheap. The place was so hot and stuffy, no ventilation at all. And they were cooking just two metres from you. I can't unfortunately recommend it.

I won't go there again: chicken breast leathery, portion of penne manageable, house wine ok, but the prices are way too high. 6.90 for 1 bottle. Water - a joke! You sit close together, too many tables in a small space. There are many better restaurants. No card payment: so again “pocket placement” from the boss. I hate that!

I WARN YOU: you can't pay by card and the staff speaks very little English. JENDKAZE is easy to communicate with. The food is delicious, I really recommend the pasta, cooked perfectly al dente, so perfect!!! While I took an average dish which I don't really recommend (capres3 on bread, yo yo, one slice of tomato, one slice of mozzarella baked on bread), the capresse or bruschetta that my dad took was amazing!!!

Been here for the second time exactly after a year for a conference. And again I wasn't disappointed. The mezzelune with porcini mushrooms and truffles was very good, the family running it was very friendly and the espresso was on the house! I'd love to come back next time!

So I can't understand the reviews regarding the food. At least for us, the food was consistently very tasty. I can recommend the spinach sauce with gnocchi! And the portions are big enough. The staff was very friendly, although we had to invest a lot of time after placing our order. It probably took over 30 minutes. Our neighbor at the table also said that you would have to take some time if you wanted to eat here, but it would taste very good. I can only confirm that it was really worth it.
