Our favorite Italian restaurant has closed after 31 years and we are looking for a new one nearby. The first attempt in the area failed. Today it was the turn of the dolce vita. I was there every now and then 10 years ago.
Today again after a long time. The menu has everything I love. The restaurant is very pleasant and makes you feel good.
The pizzas were great, the mixed salad was a good mix, the house wine was good. We ate part of the menu, parmesan truffle crusted pork tenderloin with gnocci. That tasted fantastic.
The waiter, a very humorous Sicilian, is also called Giuseppe, like our lost host.
All in all, we were very satisfied and found our new favorite Italian restaurant. We'll be back! That's a threat!
Very nice atmosphere and good cuisine. Maybe you shouldn't be in a rush, but it's rare to find a restaurant like this. Italian restaurant or not - there are also excellent microbreweries in Italy. A small selection of beers would top off the overall impression.
There is only bottled beer (bad in my opinion), which is served in a bottle with a glass. For €5.50 I expected more.
The service was otherwise a bit overwhelmed, which was probably due to the large group of 30 people.
The pizza itself was good, but nothing special.
Modern and beautifully furnished Italian restaurant in a central location near the main train station.
Although it was very full after a while, the acoustics remained pleasant and people could continue to have a good conversation.
The food was very good, but also quite expensive and I had to deduct a point based on the price.
What was unfortunately negative about the evening was the service. What wasn't particularly attentive at the beginning of the evening developed over time into a feeling of being deliberately ignored. This spoiled the experience and makes it unlikely to happen again.
We were here for a team dinner, celebrating a birthday and a new colleague, and we really left a lot of money behind. In the price range of the Ottantanove you can expect more hospitality and service. Too bad.
Very good food
And friendly staff won a voucher for €10 at the Christmas market. The employee who was there was so nice that he gave me a pizza worth €15 and a drink without me having to pay anything extra
All in all a very nice pizzeria with good pizza that was of good quality.
Today at 5:16 p.m. we ordered two pizzas through Lieferando, which were not delivered until 7:05 p.m. When I contacted the pizzeria by phone, I was told that it doesn't open until 5:45 p.m. and that it takes additional time for the oven to be ready for use. There was no information about this on Lieferando, only a stated delivery time of 60 minutes. The pizzas delivered were tough, tasteless and a disappointment - especially considering the price of 30 euros. Such quality and the treatment of customers is outrageous. One thing is certain for us: never again!
