vi vadi RUSTICO in München

Decided to have an evening meal here for my birthday last night. Had an amazing day in Munich and just wanted to finish it off with a nice meal. What a disappointing end to my birthday! When we entered we were sat down and given menus by the waiter in the white shirt. This was all fine. But then it went downhill…. Took approximately 15mins for anyone to even take a drinks order, even when we asked we were told to wait. The place wasn’t even busy. Just as our patience was ended and we were about to leave the waiter comes over and takes our drink and now food order. Drinks come a short time later and my mums tiny glass of prosecco was flat. Food came a worryingly quick time after. The food was just ok, nothing special, lacking in taste. ( this was the pasta btw ) Once we had eaten we just wanted to go, so tried to flag the waiter down for the bill. And again we waited, until he finally comes over and says he will get the bill. I then watch him for a further 10 minutes doing everything else but getting the bill…. Serving other tables, chatting to his mate sat at the bar and having a laugh. He eventually comes to a unit close to us where he then whips his phone out and begins texting someone….at this point we have had enough. My mum gets up puts her coat on and as do I. Walks up to him and says hello, can we have the bill, for the second time. He then goes and gets the bill, and plonks it on the table. Interesting that when others got the bill they had a tiny bowl or something with it (maybe mints or nuts), but not for us. He gets the card machine and we pay the €80 bill. He then gives us the most sarcastic smile and says byee. And we left! This has so far been our only bad experience in Munich, and it just happened to be for my birthday meal. What a shame! I don’t know what we did wrong from the start but we just did not feel wanted or welcome. Would not recommend!

Despite good service, the food really broke the experience. Dr Oetker have fresher cheese on their pizzas.

Wow! On a business trip to München, I just happened upon this place and boy, was i surprised. A genuine italian-german fusion (more italian food with german feel), excellent staff (the guy made me laugh wholeheatedly several times), perfect atmospere (given this is what you are after) and the food… oh my… I had grilled veal liver with garlic spinach and parmesan as a side. It was good, very good! Overall, highly recommended!

This restaurant also caters to Korean palates. Ordering spaghetti overseas isn't always easy, but here, it was a success. I ordered amatricia (tomato sauce) and gamberi (oil sauce), and both were delicious. However, the portions were so large I couldn't finish them all.

Great mix of German and Italian cuisine

The pizza and pasta didn't impress us. The pizza tasted a bit like a frozen pizza, and the spaghetti carbonara wasn't very authentic (there was cream in the sauce). The prices were very high, though.

Very tasty, good food and friendly staff

I chose this restaurant Vi Vardi hoping they would change some things in their menu and basically allow me to design my own pizza due to allergies, I was pleasantly surprised that they were extremely friendly, polite and were more than happy & obliging to my request, the pizza was absolutely delicious. The waiters were very friendly and jovial which made it all even more of a pleasant experience.

A very good pizzeria with authentic Italian dishes. We had the ravioli special from the specials board and a pizza. For dessert, of course, we had tiramisu. Everything was excellent!

We stumbled upon this restaurant yesterday by chance – and were delighted! Incredibly friendly and fast service. I had a salami pizza, my mother had pasta with salmon – both were excellent. I've rarely eaten such a good pizza: the tomato sauce was full of flavor, the base was perfectly cooked – neither too thin nor too thick. The pasta was also perfectly al dente. We had a truly lovely evening – many thanks to the entire team!

The food was really delicious, the table was a little dirty, but otherwise everything was great!

Beautiful food. One of the best Italian meals I have had in Europe. I loved that it was authentic Italian restaurant run by lovely Italian gentleman. Friendly staff and the service was fast and the food hot.

Food, service, price, all words of praise!

A bit more expensive. The beef carpaccio starter for 21.90 was beautifully presented and tasted very good, as did the Vitello Tonnato Piemontese for 20.90. I was rather disappointed that the salmon with lemon sauce for 31.90 required an extra 4.90 for side dishes. For three rather small pieces of fish, I find the price-performance ratio unbalanced. The pizzas Capricciosa for 18.99 and Pizza Casa for 22.90 tasted good, but I also find the price-performance ratio unbalanced. Service was friendly.

We stumbled upon this gem by chance near our accommodation. Great selection of delicious Italian dishes – including a few unusual variations that not only sounded great, but were (Pizza Vitello Tonnato, for example). There was also plenty of pasta and it was absolutely spot on. It looked relatively expensive on the menu at first, but in the end, considering how full we were and the amount of drinks we consumed, it was surprisingly good value. The limoncello was on the house. Service was attentive and friendly. Overall, it was great – we'd love to come back!

The food was delicious (pizza and pasta), the service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. BUT: The €4.90 surcharge for gluten-free pasta or pizza is simply outrageous!!! Such a shame!

A really nice, classic Italian restaurant with a well-stocked menu and high standards. Some pasta and pizza dishes are a bit more creative or traditionally of higher quality. Top-notch pizza oven and beautiful interior.

Excellent restaurant, kind and friendly staff. I recommend the saffron rice and tagliatelle Bolognese.

I had dinner at this restaurant and I had a great time, the staff was kind and the owner was attentive to all our needs, they accommodated all our requests and above all they are very attentive to intolerances and have everything gluten-free. I rarely find so much variety without gluten. I was able to have dinner eating the same dishes as the other diners but without gluten! Everything was excellent and delicious. If you go to Munich I highly recommend it!

I ate an incredible pizza here, the Verde Sicilia. An explosion of authentic flavors, with excellent ingredients and a perfect balance between taste and creativity. I have never tasted anything similar, not even in Italy! The place is Italian, welcoming, with kind and attentive staff. If you are in Munich and you love real Italian pizza, this place is a must-see 10/10

Vi Vadi rustico is worth a visit!

Die Pizza Casa und die Spaghetti aglio olio waren einfach typisch italienisch d.h. das Essen war genau so wie man es sich in Italien wünscht und vorstellt. Der freundliche junge Italiener bemühte sich sehr, dass unser Rotwein nicht zu warm war.

Being celiac I looked for a gluten-free restaurant and I found this restaurant that has a fantastic gluten-free pizza. Even with the appetizer with the writing Gluten Free so you can't go wrong. Water in a carafe €3.90. Well done. Around here it costs at least €8.

The food is okay, but the service isn't good (very bad, in my opinion). Five of us went there for lunch. Neither the appetizer nor the main course came at the same time; they were extremely different, so someone always had to eat alone. There were no more than 15 guests in the restaurant.

I had a gluten-free pizza because I couldn't eat anything else for health reasons! It was delicious, and I had no problems afterward!

Whenever I'm in Munich, I eat here. This evening I had tomato soup and a Regina pizza, which I requested with salami and as a calzone. My request was immediately fulfilled. The food was simply outstanding, and the service was excellent and attentive. I wish you continued success! I'll be back.

Very good pizzas, also gluten-free available

Thanks to the excellent service and very tasty pizza, you can immerse yourself in a chic Italian atmosphere right in the center of Munich. Friendly waiters will be happy to recommend you the best dishes and drinks. By the way, the pizza is baked right in the hall and you can watch the whole process yourself.

Este restaurante está justo enfrente de Kings Center Hotel donde nos alojamos. Las críticas eran buenas, así que fuimos a cenar después de un largo día de tours. Pedimos un plato de pasta Penne y una pizza Caprase junto con una pequeña ensalada mixta. El servicio fue genial y se proporciona pan con aceites y balsámico. . El pedido llegó rápido, la pasta se cocinó perfectamente, sabores fantásticos y gran porción. . La ensalada era muy agradable. . La pizza era excelente, muy bueno, corteza fina, grandes ingredientes y sabores. . Realmente disfruté de la comida y el ambiente con música ligera y una “mejor” presencia gastronómica. . gran elección para la comida italiana en esta zona!

Pasamos en este restaurante después de un tour, y estábamos TAN contentos de haberlo hecho. Tomé la Tagliatelle Salmone, uno de mis hijos tomó una pizza, y el otro tomó espagueti carbonara. Todos pensamos que era la mejor comida italiana que hemos probado. Mi marido tenía una pasta de 4 quesos, que era bueno, pero nada especial (pero ese es el plato. ) Si alguna vez volvemos a Munich, iremos a Vi Vadi Rustico varias veces durante el viaje; fue fácilmente la mejor comida que tuvimos mientras estuvimos en Europa.

Excellently authentic and above all delicious antipasta, pasta, pinsa and pizza. Together you can order almost everything gluten-free. Service is very attentive and not intrusive. Nice, cozy and elegant atmosphere in an old Spaten restaurant. The pizza oven is already a highlight in the entrance. Price-performance ratio is absolutely right here. Would love to come back.

A very nice restaurant with very harmonious decor. The walls are paneled with dark wood, the furniture is in a tavern style. The staff is courteous, but not intrusive, just calm. We were served quickly and efficiently. The food here is very good and the portions are of sufficient size. The Quattro Formaggi, the pizza and the pinsa were really delicious! What should be emphasized above all is that many of the dishes here can also be ordered gluten-free, which is unfortunately rarely the case. All in all a very nice evening, thank you for that.

Fine di una 3 giorni lavorativa a Monaco, devo cenare prima di tornare a Milano. Pur non mangiando quasi mai italiano all’ estero, quando vuoi della pasta per esperienza in giro per il mondo una carbonara ti salva la vita. Non mangi mai una carbonara; spesso ti capitano paste alla panna e prosciutto, ma alla fine quasi ovunque piatti accettabili, da non chiamare carbonara. Entro da Vivadi e chiedo una carbonara da camionista, che mi faccia arrivare a Milano. Il cuoco lancia la sfida: non la mangi così neppure e Roma. Assiduo frequentatore di trattorie romane, con me perdi sicuro, ma accetto la sfida. Ebbene, carbonara con guanciale croccante, senza panna e che finalmente si guadagna il suo nome. Meglio che a Roma? Diciamo meglio che in molti posti a Roma. Bravi! Alla prossima a Monaco so dove andare.

The food is amazing, Hugh portions. The service was a little slow especially to clear finished plates, but it was late so fewer staff.

Nice restaurant in itself and very nice service(s).. unfortunately the food was a 0/5 star for me. Unfortunately, the truffle pizza was quite hard and was difficult to cut, the cheese tasted like normal grated cheese from a discount store, and the buffalla, like normal mozzarella balls...the gluten-free pizza was said to be very good, but unfortunately I can't recommend the normal one! And well, for the quality, the price is unfortunately not justified!

A good choice for gatherings, especially the risotto and pizza. If you have the budget, don’t forget to order appetizers and seafood.

The worst burger I had in my entire life. It was so disgusting, I had to through it away, grilled onions and meat turned into charcoal. BBQ sauce was bitter and tasted burnt. Oversalted soup and semi-baked pizza to top it off. Will never order here again.

The best italian in a heart of germany

Delicious pizza, friendly service.

Went here because of the gluten free options (which were good) but the risotto was extremely salty and lacked any other taste and the carpaccio was still partly frozen and watery. We usually always tip but this time the waiter had added his own tip of 16 euro, which I thought was extremely rude. I paid it, perhaps foolishly, but we will never be back.

The food is very tasty, the staff are very friendly and what I liked is that the waiters know what's on the menu and what variations there are. They also know who can tolerate what. All in all, I can recommend it.

En mi mejor (y único! ) Alemán Solicité una mesa para dos antes de darme cuenta de que el propietario era italiano tan perfectamente (? ) en mi italiano limitado pedí una mesa. Funcionó! El servicio era excelente, la comida buena, pero el postre... mi italiano limitado era totalmente inadecuado para expresar lo bueno que era!

Best whole grain pizza in town!!!

I can't understand the good reviews. I was served a pizza containing gluten even though I ordered a gluten-free one. I noticed it after the first bite and asked. The waiter seemed shocked, but there was no apology and no accomodation for the bill. In addition, the same pizza peel was used for the gluten-free pizza as for the gluten-containing one. Absolutely not suitable for celiac disease. The waiter generally seemed completely uninterested and preferred to take a private break at the neighboring table. Substandard service and inconsistent value for money.

Very, very tasty pizzas with spicy tomato sauce. Large gluten-free selection with an additional charge. Very tasty gluten-free vegetarian pizza. Incredibly delicious gluten-free dough. One of the best gluten-free pizzas so far and the best gluten-free pizza in Munich! Highly recommended. Very nice and courteous staff. Not a long wait and a nice, simple atmosphere. Have been there several times and will definitely come back for the gluten-free selection. Thank you!

this is legitimately some of the best food i’ve ever had!! i was in munich for a few days and happened to go here for dinner, and it was life changing.. i ended up ordering two entrees just to experience more of the menu.. i love the staff here too, what a great restaurant
