Very tasty pizzas, very friendly service, and a pleasantly cool space on the ground floor. We'd gladly go back.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. One of the best pizzas you'll find outside of Italy is here. The location, both inside and out, is pleasant.

The food was decent, average, and the atmosphere was nothing special. Nowhere was it possible to pay with cash. The town of Lindau itself is very nice. A beautiful day.

There's nothing Italian about it at all. The chairs inside are recycled from an office. The pizza... is NOT pizza. They only accept cash for payment! Crazy! Not recommended.

I had a very good experience at this restaurant. The waiters are polite and friendly, and the food is truly delicious.

The food was okay for an Italian. However, there was no salt, pepper, or olive oil on the table. Our order wasn't understood. And even the cutlery only came upon request. And even then, only half came, and we had to seriously ask for cutlery again to even eat. On top of that, they simply didn't accept card payments. And the restrooms were disgusting.

Every modern business in the 21st century must strive to provide good and convenient customer service, which is unfortunately lacking here. Card payments are not possible!🙈

Unfortunately, I couldn't eat the bruschetta at all—it was probably left over from the day before. The lettuce had rotten leaves in it. I was charged the full amount, even though I returned the bruschetta and the rotten salad!

The service was unfriendly, and they stood next to us the whole time. The dough tasted raw, and the pepperoni tasted like it had been in storage since 2020. I would prefer a frozen pizza 10/10 times.

That's totally unacceptable. I wanted spicy salami and it yelled at me. My pizza was full of wood! Frozen pizza would be better and cheaper.

Slatkta with chicken is supposedly nice but without croutons and chicken in small pieces Chef pasta has little flavor, drinks are very good but don't get carbonated because they are simply diluted with carbonated water

Honestly, it's an imposition. The fact that my 90-year-old grandfather has to climb stairs to get to a restaurant is not only inconvenient but also strange. The atmosphere upstairs wasn't any better. Wobbly tables, uncomfortable benches, and outdated furnishings. We would have put up with all that for a good meal. But what we were served was truly outrageous. The pizza had a soggy crust and tasted of nothing at all; what you could taste was really not tasty. The schnitzel was even worse. The meat was inedible, just totally cheap and weird, and the fries tasted like they came from the Netto freezer. The salad was the only thing that was halfway decent. Also a bit inconvenient is that you can only pay in cash. The service was okay. Not overly friendly, but fine. Nevertheless, I would unfortunately advise against a visit here :(

Very disappointing! The staff was very superficial. Like other guests, we had to move tables throughout the evening so that they could optimize our tables. No mention of cash only. We had to go to the nearest ATM, which charged us a €5.95 fee! Annoying! Not recommended!

orrible and abusive experience. The waiter in red (I don’t know his name) told us the place was cash-only only when we were about to take our pizza to go—never mentioned it before. That would’ve been fine if it weren’t for how he handled the situation: instead of calmly explaining, he immediately started yelling, asked where we were from, and when we said we were Brazilian, he threateningly said my girlfriend couldn’t leave until I went to find an ATM to get cash. All of this over €13, because he didn’t trust we’d come back to pay. On top of that, a couple who came in just after closing time got cursed at and treated horribly. The waiter was rude, disrespectful, and clearly xenophobic. Avoid this place at all costs. Terrible people. And also, the Pizza is very average at best.

Unfortunately, nothing is right here. The taste of the food was absolutely bland and almost inedible. All ingredients were obviously canned - otherwise simply prepared and without any real seasoning. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is also unpleasant, wobbly tables and absolutely uncomfortable plastic chairs. We were seated at a table near the toilet - unfortunately you could smell this smell continuously. I also found the toilet itself to be extremely unkempt. The service was very unfriendly and overwhelmed despite there being fewer customers in the restaurant. Payment was only possible after asking twice and waiting over 15 minutes.

Italian pizzeria in the center of Lindau, but it has very little Italian. The dough and filling are nothing exceptional, and the pizza is not sufficiently cooked, so that it is heavy. The salads are also nothing special. There is only one beer, although more are indicated on the menu. The bill was positive, the prices were very honest, and the tables were outside in the warm sun. Was very disappointing! Salad didn't taste good at all, pizza wasn't cooked through and it was far too expensive for 4 people for the ambience and for the food anyway! We definitely won't be coming back!!

Every year when we are at Lake Constance, we have a fixed item on the agenda: a visit to Lindo. And every time we feel completely comfortable there. The food is not only incredibly tasty, but also prepared with real passion. You notice that immediately. The staff is super warm and attentive - and what made us particularly happy: our dog was also welcomed like a little VIP! The shop is lovingly furnished, cozy and tasteful - you can just feel that the heart is put into the work here. Thank you for this great moment – ​​we are already looking forward to the next time!

Where do I start….? Originally I wanted to go out for Indian food - but the restaurant was closed so we took the first best alternative... service was a bit rough. Regardless of whether you order a light beer or a pilsner, the same bottle always arrives. Fanta is on the menu - some "house brand" orange soda comes. Pizzas were there in no time. Sorry, that has nothing to do with Italy for me...absolutely Germanized, carelessly topped pizza and, above all, absolutely tasteless...I actually don't need any more...chips either. And yes, Fanta was ordered with ice cubes - of course they didn't come either

The pizza was good! Nice thin base and well covered. The wall paneling with the coats of arms and an old woodcut from Lake Constance were great, but didn't fit in with the rest. But it's absolutely a matter of taste!

The service is very bad, the pizza is average at best, far from crispy, the salad is also just normal, the dressing is not special, additional orders don't come, you have to go to the counter, the bill is simply slapped on the table without an order. Look for something else in Lindau!!!

Pizza war aus einem fertigen Rohling gefertigt. Das Restaurant hat bis auf das Ambiente rein gar nichts mit einem italienischem Restaurant zu tun. Beim Nebentisch wurde das Essen vergessen. Ein Tisch wurde nicht wahr genommen. Die Leute sind aufgestanden und gegangen. Nicht zu empfehlen. Um die Ecke auf dem Marktplatz ist ein super Italiener mit ordentlicher Qualität.

We were in the Pizzeria Lindo for the second time today on April 6th, 2025. Ate in the restaurant for the first time and today we got 4 pizzas to go. The pizzas only took 13 minutes from when we ordered them to when they were brought outside (which was great since we were traveling with the kids). Taste delicious and fresh as it should be. Service was super friendly and accommodating from start to finish. Both times there was nothing to complain about! Price per pizza is around €10, which is great for Lindau.

Hello everyone! There were four of us dining and we had high expectations, but unfortunately they were not met. The quality of the dishes wasn't great, and there wasn't much going on either. The worst part, however, was the pay. Only cash was accepted and when we didn't have cash we had to walk to the ATM to withdraw money. This cost us a lot of time and was very annoying. Overall, we were not satisfied with our visit to this restaurant and unfortunately cannot recommend it.

A real insider tip on the island of Lindau! The restaurant is somewhat hidden on the second floor, but definitely worth a visit! Top-notch pizza with super fluffy yet crispy dough, an exceptionally friendly chef who also serves, and fair prices! Plus, historic premises with interesting listed wood paneling. We recommend this restaurant to everyone!

The food was good. But the staff lacks training and oversight. If I carry two sets of cutlery, I might as well take two menus for the new guests. I ran three times to get things done for three tables. First, the espresso was served. Okay, I didn't specifically order it for last. Then a pizza, and finally a large antipasti. The manager stands at the top of the door and doesn't see anything. He's probably not a trained waiter either. We sat outside. The seats, covered in stripes of fabric, were surprisingly comfortable. Geared towards mass tourism, most guests probably don't notice. I'm not complaining, I'm just pointing it out. No mansplaining intended.

I don’t understand good reviews for this restaurant. We had two different types of pasta, both no good. We ended up here because most restaurants were in mittags pause. Not recommended

Food was ok. It can be better but also worse. Ambiance - nice in itself but the aquarium was so dirty that we could only feel sorry for the fish. You could also dust off once a quarter... Now to the service: We came with twins (9mon)... since they were a bit impatient I took them to the aquarium and stuff, then we were rudely insulted by the waiter. Then the second high chair was rudely taken away from us because we had already finished eating and another family came. He didn't come to pay for ages - with 5 guests an indictment. There was no changing table.

There is only bottled beer (bad in my opinion), which is served in a bottle with a glass. For €5.50 I expected more. The service was otherwise a bit overwhelmed, which was probably due to the large group of 30 people. The pizza itself was good, but nothing special.

Pizza was good, ambience a bit atypical. But something different. What was really bad was the service. After eating I was told that card payment was not possible. I am tortured. Had lunch at this restaurant today. I ordered the grilled salmon, expecting it to be a dish similar to the one pictured. Unfortunately, they brought me 2 pieces of dry, baked, not grilled fish. The fish was thawed and dried. I do not recommend ordering fish here! The potatoes were also stale. I told the waiter that the fish was neither juicy nor tasty. This man made fun of me at the top of his voice in front of other customers, saying that I ate fish, so there was no problem. There are two Lindos in the same house. Once downstairs, where you have to go down a few steps, and once up on the first floor. Unfortunately we were in the lower part. Ambiance: Horrible. Neon lights, plastic decorations and all in all very uncomfortable. Has no flair of an Italian. Service: The young man was alone and completely overwhelmed. Apparently his colleague got sick. But he tried more or less. Food/Drink: We had to wait forty minutes for our food. A supposed Pils (beer), according to the menu, was a light one from the bottle. We had two pizzas and two pasta dishes. I would like to spare the details here. We hadn't eaten so badly in a long time. One pasta dish was just greasy and the other had an indefinable taste. The pizzas were awful. For the lower part of the restaurant, even one star is still too much.

After ordering it said it would take about 15-20 minutes, it took 45 minutes. Only one service person, who was mostly missing. Never, never again. Fast food stall would be the correct name.

Food was boring and greasy, cheap ingredients. My food arrived lukewarm, but was warmed up immediately after complaining 👍. The atmosphere downstairs is quite uncomfortable (plastic decorations, mismatched chairs). You can't pay by card, that's outdated.

Can't understand what's supposed to be Italian about the pizza. Ingredients typically German. Greasy cheese, not real mozzarella, tasteless tomatoes. Oregano also on the pizza, even though it wasn't on the menu. It is probably mainly visited by tourists from Asia who unfortunately have not yet been able to enjoy Italian cuisine. Ultimately like an overpriced pizza that is available at every kebab shop. You can save yourself. Service ok.

Ordered a takeaway pizza on June 3rd, 2021 and waited more than an hour. My order was taken by a colleague who could no longer be found afterwards. Several guests who ordered after me received their pizzas while I waited. I informed the colleague who was apparently responsible for the process several times that my order had apparently been overlooked. However, without checking, he assured that the pizza was on the way. After a while I found the colleague who had taken my order and informed her directly. She quickly went to the kitchen and brought out the pizza after about five minutes. The entire process was disappointing for me and my child who was hungry waiting for the pizza. I would like to see such misunderstandings handled better in the future. To my surprise, I received a notice that my original post was to be removed, allegedly due to "defamation." However, this was a description of my actual experience.

The food was very tasty, we were here 2 years ago and remembered the pizza very well. Were not disappointed.

First of all: The super stressed waiter (lack of staff) was still very friendly and did everything he could to get the best out of it BUT otherwise it was subterranean. The pizza was at best sufficient, the base was fluffy but not crispy, the tomato sauce tasted like a tetra pack, the panna cotta was so firm that I could barely pierce it with a spoon and the very sour berry mush on top was still half frozen. My husband's pasta was completely different than advertised on the menu. Half a cherry tomato and otherwise just tomato sauce. No parmesan shavings, no fresh tomatoes, no chili. We sat in the lower part and the atmosphere there is more factory-like, but not consistent either. It would have been better to leave out cheap plastic flowers as decoration, and the bright neon light from the naked neon tubes didn't create a feel-good atmosphere. It was a scary restaurant visit and the prices were really too high for this lousy quality.

The atmosphere is inviting and clean. The food we had was delicious and beautifully prepared, value for money for a tourist region was absolutely fine. What's not working at all is the service, the waiters don't take any time and constantly run past you even though we drew attention to us several times. Payment also only worked with several attempts.

The food itself was good, the staff could be a bit friendlier and the food ordered was sometimes forgotten.

With the spaghetti Bolognese you had to look for the minced meat and the spagetti aglio e olio was not recognizable as such. Without garlic but with vegetable broth that tastes like nothing. Unfortunately everything wasn't tasty at all and the drinks were from a bottle....disappointing dinner :(

Wir haben uns auch aufgrund der Bewertungen bewusst für dieses Restaurant entschieden. Der Kellner war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente ist auch schön. Auch wurden unsere Wünsche umgesetzt. Die Zutaten der Pizza waren frisch. Allerdings war diese nichts besonderes und nicht ganz durch. Alles in allem ok.
