Fantastic place to go. Exceeded service, friendly and accommodating staff. The food is incredible and very authentic. The portion sizes are perfect, especially if you are hungry. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, we discovered that the kitchen was already closed when we arrived at 10:05 PM – despite the opening hours posted both on the door and on Google. This was disappointing, as we had been looking forward to a visit.

We were in Lindau, as we had been throughout our entire vacation, looking for something to eat after 8:00 PM. Since the sidewalks in Lindau are apparently rolled up at 9:00 PM, We were greeted warmly and got food at 8:45 PM. The food was good (pizza & salad) and reasonably priced. It's a nice place to sit, a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the main street. We liked it and enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

Italian restaurant on the island of Lindau – located a few meters from the pedestrian zone in a quiet square. Tables are available inside and outside. Reservations are not required outside. The menu has everything you'd expect from an Italian restaurant. The pizza is large and delicious. Prices are reasonable and reasonable. The tiramisu is delicious and fresh. We had to wait a bit on this Saturday evening...which isn't necessarily a problem. The place was full, which is understandable. We can recommend this restaurant.

No, my wife ordered a fish platter today. For €29.90 with salmon, scampi, and salad. What arrived was an unadorned plate, no salmon, no side salad, no dressing. They didn't even provide oil and vinegar. Never again for that price.

The almost 5-star rating is completely incomprehensible. The food is pretty bad. The lasagna was swimming in oil (almost more oil than lasagna), but it still had no flavor, so it was extremely bland (however you manage that). The same fate befell the pasta – bathing season in oil. The staff was friendly, but still not recommended.

I had a great time; the pizza was as good as the ones made in Italy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Since we don't speak German, we used English, which the staff had no problem understanding. Furthermore, the staff also speaks Italian, which we had no problem using to pay the bill.

Delicious pizza, friendly service – highly recommended! We were cycling and stopped at this pizzeria for a break – and it was the perfect decision! We had two vegetarian pizzas: one with spinach and Gorgonzola, the other with fresh vegetables, and a large mixed salad. Everything was freshly prepared, the pizza was nice and thin, crispy, and simply delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We sat outside, and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant – we felt completely at home. A definite recommendation!

A very cozy, tastefully decorated restaurant. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. The Prosecco wasn't really cold, the pizza was large and delicious, the pasta wasn't particularly seasoned, and the sauce wasn't my taste, but that's something to be debated. Very nice outdoor area, definitely a dream in good weather.

Authentic Italian restaurant with good service. The tagliatelle with mushroom sauce and beef was very good, however, a few more pieces of meat would have been appreciated.

We wanted to eat dinner on my birthday—the stained tablecloths alone should have made us leave. But we were fooled by the reviews here, and the location is quite nice. Spaghetti aglio e olio is probably the simplest Italian dish there is. That it's possible to absolutely not get even this one right is just a shame. It essentially consisted of perfectly cooked spaghetti, a few pale, tasteless pieces of tomato, the necessary—but unfortunately completely tasteless—garlic, probably chili powder, and olive oil. And lots of it. Basically, it was a piping hot olive oil soup with a spicy, otherwise completely tasteless garnish. Ps. The pizza was okay—but nothing more. Ps. I was offered the opportunity to make the same dish again—I'm just wondering why? An espresso or grappa was also offered—which is nice, but it doesn't solve the real problem, and it would have been appropriate to remove this dish from the bill. I don't know why I'm taking so much time on my birthday to write such a page-long review, but I was simply incredibly disappointed in you.

Cozy atmosphere at Paradiesplatz! Delicious, freshly prepared pizza and pasta in a central location by the fountain. The outdoor area is particularly charming – ideal for relaxed evenings. Solid value for money. Overall, a recommended address for an Italian treat in the heart of Lindau.

Absolutely fair prices – especially for this quality and location. Plus the Mediterranean flair in the middle of your vacation… perfect! Thanks for the lovely stopover – we'd love to come back!

Very tasty food with nice ambience and friendly staff

Food was okay. But pizza didn't taste Italian. Pasta was okay. Coke was with no fizz. Service was not initially good. The only lady was so nice though. The whole vibe was not so welcoming. We wanted to finish eating and leave.

We ate outside the restaurant and had tortellini and penne al forno. The tortellini portion was a bit small but very good. The penne was also very good.

The staff is not friendly at all, the pizza sauce is too salty, they are not interested in explaining the ingredients of the food to the guests if they do not speak German.

We've never had such a bad pizza, but the pasta dishes are very good! Sitting outside by the fountain is lovely.

Unfortunately, it was very disappointing... we had chosen dishes that were not available after all, but we were only told about this later. The newly selected dishes were also not available, which made us feel a bit ripped off. If we had been told this before we chose, it wouldn't have been a problem, but this was a bit cheeky. Then the salad (not a starter) was just a bit of rocket with tomato and mozzarella, which was really meager. Then a carpacio as a starter was simply forgotten. The rest of the meal was okay, but nothing more. Unfortunately, there wasn't even a small gift or a discount as an apology.

The pizza isn't particularly good for the price, and the staff was overworked, so the service was really poor. Later in the evening, however, the staff warned new customers about longer wait times.

Unfortunately, some of the salad was no longer fresh, so I sent some back. They only served pizza and salad that day; it was busy, and the staff were stressed. The pizza was very good.

We got a table outside at around 1:30 p.m. this afternoon when the weather was great. We were told by the waiter that it was busy and that we could only order pizza 🍕... given the fact that the restaurant closes at 2.30 p.m., that was fine with us. Other guests weren't exactly sent away in a friendly manner after 2 p.m....or recommended another restaurant...hmm... Our pizzas were very tasty, came very quickly and the price was right too.

Went to this restaurant for dinner on May 4th, 2025. We were warmly welcomed and allowed to choose a nice table. After a quick look at the menu, we ordered two pizzas (wood-fired oven) and a salad. I had a Margherita pizza made by Mohammed, and it was absolutely delicious—warm, fresh, and just what I needed to shake off the cold. The rest of the staff were just as impressive—kind, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Their warmth created such a cozy atmosphere that made my dining experience even more enjoyable.

Food was good. But unfortunately not the day after. I think it was the mussels.

The food tastes really homemade and was delicious, but the wait for two pasta dishes was extremely long—over 40 minutes. When I asked why it was taking so long, the waiter said that pizza takes less time to prepare. That explanation didn’t really make sense, especially since customers who arrived after us received their pasta dishes before we did.

It was actually good but the base of the Prosciutto pizza was thick and soggy. With the Penne Amatriciana there was suddenly a small piece of spaghetti. The Penne Monte Rose was an indefinably hard piece. Everything about the pizza bread was good and as it should be. In the tomato mozzarella salad, a piece of tomato was still green and unripe, otherwise it was good. Everything about the tomato onion salad was very good. Both salads came after the main course. The waiter apologized for that. At the end there was grappa on the house. Everything together was so, well, good. 😐

We went to the counter in the restaurant to ask for a table. We weren't greeted, a waitress then stormed out of the kitchen and almost ran over us without even looking at us. After several minutes a waiter came and made us wait at the counter. We were then seated and when after 15 minutes there was still no service, we didn't even have a menu, we left again and had a wonderful evening at another Italian restaurant. It was noticeable that the staff were not restaurateurs. No recommendation.

Good food, but horribly long waiting time.

Appalling!! I have gone to dinner and they have treated us with bad manners. Pressing because the kitchen was supposedly closing, which was still working when we left, it was impossible not to notice the difference in treatment towards us (Spain) with the rest. The food is nothing exceptional. The pasta looked like it was microwaved. It was a mistake to have entered that restaurant and I wouldn't wish that feeling on anyone. There are better options for sure! I put a star because there is no option of 0.

Desde luego no lo recomiendo. Fue imposible no contemplar la diferencia de trato con “locales” que conmigo (España). La comida (pasta) parecía descongelada en el micro!

Rustic atmosphere, beautifully Italian. Unfortunately, the service seemed very stressed and initially unfriendly. The pizza was very tasty, but Spaghetti Vongole was unfortunately very tasteless. In our opinion, the tortellini were not homemade either. Definitely has room for improvement.

Were on vacation in Lindau and were looking forward to the pizza. That day there was only pizza, no salad etc. which seemed strange to us, but the greeting was friendly at first then my pizza arrived, the edge was completely burnt and there should have been parmesan shavings on the pizza.. there was EMMENTALER on the pizza.. upon request The waiter (he then looked at the menu but didn't give it to me) said no no, that's parmesan in strips. I eat a pizza with rocket, parma ham and parmesan in every pizzeria... I can't be kidding myself! Unfortunately not recommended.

Delicious wood-fired pizzas, nice, friendly service. You are served straight away and get your food without a long wait. Quaint, cozy atmosphere. The price is still ok, only the mixed salad can be improved (types of lettuce, dressing)

Very family friendly and great atmosphere. Pizza very good, thin dough, and the tomato sauce is really to die for. I can only recommend bruschetta, I haven't had such good bruschetta in a long time. Came with our 10 week old baby and they really took care of everything so we could eat in a relaxed manner. Always my pleasure

Very bad service. Refused to set to tables outside, said they will not serve and inside restaurant very cold. Napkins and forks for 4 person although we were 8 persons, we asked twice. Pizza didn't cut to slices.never will come back. Not recommended.

Tell me, what era do you actually live in? There are too few staff, ever heard of it?

Excellent pizzas with thin dough and fresh ingredients. Special mention for the Pana Cotta for dessert which is exceptional! A treat, I recommend!

Definitely the first and last visit to this restaurant. We were there as a family and ordered spagetti carabonara. We got spaghetti with egg and a little cream. That wasn't even close to what we ordered and were fobbed off with that being the German version. We let the food go back. Of course we were allowed to pay the bill in full and no alternative was even offered or proper carabonara was brought to us. This is what Italians complain about? We've rarely been so fooled. You'll definitely never see us here again.

Leider war das Essen wirklich miserabel! Die bestellten Vorspeisen für 12,90€ sahen aus wie Supermarkt Fertigware und schmeckten alt und ranzig. Der Spinat und die Meeresfrüchte auf den Pizzen waren teilweise nicht richtig aufgetaut,was die Pizza extrem wässrig machte. Und dann für 14,90€ auch noch ziemlich teuer. Der Service war nicht sonderlich umsichtig oder freundlich. Man sitzt auf unbequemen Plastikstühlen. Dafür ist das Ambiente auf dem Platz vor dem Brunnen wirklich ganz schön. Nur macht es das grauenvolle Abendessen auch nicht besser! Ich wundere mich sehr über die teils positiven Bewertungen!

Unfortunately the food was really bad! The starters we ordered for €12.90 looked like supermarket ready-made products and tasted old and rancid. Some of the spinach and seafood on the pizzas were not properly thawed, which made the pizza extremely watery. And at €14.90 it’s also pretty expensive. The service wasn't particularly attentive or friendly. You sit on uncomfortable plastic chairs. The atmosphere in the square in front of the fountain is really nice. But it doesn't make the horrible dinner any better! I'm very surprised at the partly positive reviews!

A real insider tip on the island of Lindau! The small pizzeria impressed us with its cozy atmosphere and absolutely delicious pizzas. The dough is perfectly crispy, the ingredients are fresh and tasty. Added to this is the friendly service that made us feel really welcome. We will definitely come back – absolutely recommended!

The spaghetti carbonara wasn't good, pizza wasn't cut, which would be ok if the knives were also sharp enough, which wasn't the case. Service is poor, only two waiters for the full terrace. So I expected much better quality and taste of the food from the Italians. Nothing to recommend. The view of Lindau old town was nice :)

The antipasti plate comes out of the canning jar and tastes accordingly. The pizzas taste bland because they are watery (from defrosting?). Unfortunately no recommendation.

The starter, bruschetta, was good and came very quickly. Unfortunately, things only went downhill after that. The service was a disaster. Super inattentive and also rather ignorant or rude. We had to wait a good 75 minutes for our food. Meanwhile, the neighboring tables, some of which arrived after us, had already finished their food. There was no apology, no request, no thank you or bon appetit. The pizza was OK, but nothing special. The pasta was quite good, but there was a lack of parmesan and the portion size was also very skimpy. This was actually the first time that I wasn't full after visiting an Italian restaurant. Unfortunately no recommendation.

After I had to delete my previous review (apparently you can't deal with legitimate criticism), I'm writing a new one today: Dear operators, I've been to your place several times in the past, but your food is just bad now. Everything is bland, unseasoned and made from cheap ingredients. On top of that you get poor and arrogant service and all of this at ridiculously high prices. If I were you, I would face the criticism and work on my offer and service. No lawyer who forces you to delete your review will help.

We were there for lunch and had three types of bruschetta in addition to three pizzas. Everything was very tasty and quickly at the table. It's nice to sit outside by a fountain without any traffic. Service was attentive.

There were not many customers, but the waiters were not active, the food arrived cold and lacked condiments. I think it is one of the worst services I have ever experienced

Without exaggeration, the worst restaurant dining experience I or my wife have ever had, here in Deutschland, or anywhere else. We chose to sit inside, due to the wasps. Big..BIG….mistake! Will come to this later. My wife chose gnocchi in a tomato sauce, with mozzarella. I went for pizza, for ‘safety’ reasons, being already sceptical about what was to follow, from the appearance and attitude of the waiter who approached us as if he couldn’t care less. The food arrived. The gnocchi looked and tasted as if it had been served from a tin of budget supermarket produce. It was dreadful. The mozzarella looked as if it had left out in the open from the lunchtime session. Truly awful! The pizza was totally uninviting to look at, and appeared to have shared the same fate as the mozzarella. We sat inside, adjacent to a room off which the toilets were located. On entering the room, one was immediately aware of a strong odour that indicated a lack of adequate and regular hygiene. The door to the room would not close on its own, allowing the odour into the immediate dining area. The staffs’ attitudes indicated that they were only there as favour to the diners. I’ll end it there

Leider ganz schlechter Service, nach allem muss man fragen. Das Risotto war so wenig, das es eigentlich nur eine Vorspeise war. Preislich zu teuer, falsches Essen gebracht. Ist leider nicht mehr zu empfehlen. Schade!

A really great restaurant! Simply recommended! The food is a dream, no matter what is ordered😋 The service is very friendly and warm and the atmosphere is very cozy. Highly recommend the tartufo and the homemade tiramisu! If you want to spend a nice evening, you definitely have to come here.
