Pizza good, house good, service also good.

Very family friendly and great atmosphere. Pizza very good, thin dough, and the tomato sauce is really to die for. I can only recommend bruschetta, I haven't had such good bruschetta in a long time. Came with our 10 week old baby and they really took care of everything so we could eat in a relaxed manner. Always my pleasure

Very bad service. Refused to set to tables outside, said they will not serve and inside restaurant very cold. Napkins and forks for 4 person although we were 8 persons, we asked twice. Pizza didn't cut to slices.never will come back. Not recommended.

Definitely the first and last visit to this restaurant. We were there as a family and ordered spagetti carabonara. We got spaghetti with egg and a little cream. That wasn't even close to what we ordered and were fobbed off with that being the German version. We let the food go back. Of course we were allowed to pay the bill in full and no alternative was even offered or proper carabonara was brought to us. This is what Italians complain about? We've rarely been so fooled. You'll definitely never see us here again.

Leider war das Essen wirklich miserabel! Die bestellten Vorspeisen für 12,90€ sahen aus wie Supermarkt Fertigware und schmeckten alt und ranzig. Der Spinat und die Meeresfrüchte auf den Pizzen waren teilweise nicht richtig aufgetaut,was die Pizza extrem wässrig machte. Und dann für 14,90€ auch noch ziemlich teuer. Der Service war nicht sonderlich umsichtig oder freundlich. Man sitzt auf unbequemen Plastikstühlen. Dafür ist das Ambiente auf dem Platz vor dem Brunnen wirklich ganz schön. Nur macht es das grauenvolle Abendessen auch nicht besser! Ich wundere mich sehr über die teils positiven Bewertungen!

The spaghetti carbonara wasn't good, pizza wasn't cut, which would be ok if the knives were also sharp enough, which wasn't the case. Service is poor, only two waiters for the full terrace. So I expected much better quality and taste of the food from the Italians. Nothing to recommend. The view of Lindau old town was nice :)

Unfortunately the food was really bad! The starters we ordered for €12.90 looked like supermarket ready-made products and tasted old and rancid. Some of the spinach and seafood on the pizzas were not properly thawed, which made the pizza extremely watery. And at €14.90 it’s also pretty expensive. The service wasn't particularly attentive or friendly. You sit on uncomfortable plastic chairs. The atmosphere in the square in front of the fountain is really nice. But it doesn't make the horrible dinner any better! I'm very surprised at the partly positive reviews!

The antipasti plate comes out of the canning jar and tastes accordingly. The pizzas taste bland because they are watery (from defrosting?). Unfortunately no recommendation.

The pizza was good, but the prices weren't — pasta with mushrooms €14.90? Excuse me... And then you have to pay €1.90 for an extra plate, what? — that really doesn't exceed anything in terms of impudence.

The starter, bruschetta, was good and came very quickly. Unfortunately, things only went downhill after that. The service was a disaster. Super inattentive and also rather ignorant or rude. We had to wait a good 75 minutes for our food. Meanwhile, the neighboring tables, some of which arrived after us, had already finished their food. There was no apology, no request, no thank you or bon appetit. The pizza was OK, but nothing special. The pasta was quite good, but there was a lack of parmesan and the portion size was also very skimpy. This was actually the first time that I wasn't full after visiting an Italian restaurant. Unfortunately no recommendation.

Everything is bland, unseasoned and made from cheap ingredients. On top of that you get poor and arrogant service and all of this at ridiculously high prices. If I were you, I would face the criticism and work on my offer and service. No lawyer who forces you to delete your review will help.

Without exaggeration, the worst restaurant dining experience I or my wife have ever had, here in Deutschland, or anywhere else. We chose to sit inside, due to the wasps. Big..BIG….mistake! Will come to this later. My wife chose gnocchi in a tomato sauce, with mozzarella. I went for pizza, for ‘safety’ reasons, being already sceptical about what was to follow, from the appearance and attitude of the waiter who approached us as if he couldn’t care less. The food arrived. The gnocchi looked and tasted as if it had been served from a tin of budget supermarket produce. It was dreadful. The mozzarella looked as if it had left out in the open from the lunchtime session. Truly awful! The pizza was totally uninviting to look at, and appeared to have shared the same fate as the mozzarella. We sat inside, adjacent to a room off which the toilets were located. On entering the room, one was immediately aware of a strong odour that indicated a lack of adequate and regular hygiene. The door to the room would not close on its own, allowing the odour into the immediate dining area. The staffs’ attitudes indicated that they were only there as favour to the diners. Leider ganz schlechter Service, nach allem muss man fragen. Das Risotto war so wenig, das es eigentlich nur eine Vorspeise war. Preislich zu teuer, falsches Essen gebracht. Ist leider nicht mehr zu empfehlen. Schade!

A really great restaurant! Simply recommended! The food is a dream, no matter what is ordered😋 The service is very friendly and warm and the atmosphere is very cozy. Highly recommend the tartufo and the homemade tiramisu! If you want to spend a nice evening, you definitely have to come here.

We ate there a few days ago with several adults and children and had put the two small tables together to form a larger one. The only answer was that it couldn't be done, seats would be lost. All right, then just 2 smaller tables. We also had to wait longer until someone came and served us, and the wrong food was delivered, whereupon the waiter checked his input on the device and also apologized for the wrong food. We also had the feeling that children were not welcome there. The atmosphere outside is very nice, the food was good but nothing special and the toilets were also very clean.

Nice spot and atmosphere. The first table we were offered had a lingering smell of trash around it. Insalata caprese was clearly straight out of a fridge. It was too cold and the quality of the tomatoes and mozzarella was average at best. For the main course I had a pasta dish that was likely heated in a microwave as it was partly cold and partly hot. The large bottle of mineral water was warm. My partner had a green pepper steak which was edible. The cream sauce was tasteless aside from the peppers. They didn’t ask about how I wanted it to be cooked but it was medium nevertheless. The service was overall minimalistic and to the point which I wouldn’t usually mind but here it gave an impression of general lack of enthusiasm. At least it was swift. No check was given when asked for, only the final amount. Disappointing.

Tourist trap: a very beautiful setting, a beautiful menu, unpleasant service, average food and an excessive price.

The food came very quickly! I ordered appetizers and hot vegetables, but the ones that came later were all the same, one had extra cantaloupe. So there is nothing we can do if we don’t see it clearly and don’t ask. The spaghetti bolognese is a bit more ordinary. The pizza was pretty good and the crust was baked well. The service is relatively basic.

The three of us were there late at lunchtime. Food very good. Salad came almost at the same time as the main course, even though it was expressly ordered as a starter. But then: The waiter came to the table while we were eating and asked if he could collect money. Because there is a lunch break. That alone doesn't work at all. But then we got even more annoyed because he didn't cash in at other tables until a good quarter of an hour later. After he had cashed in on us, he also cleared away tables that had been left and messed around on his cell phone. He could have done that beforehand and let us eat in peace. Finally we were allowed to watch the staff eat. Elbow on the table, cell phone in one hand, food shoveled in with the other hand, there's no other way to put it. All of this couldn't really make up for the good food. After our irritation was clearly registered, we then hypocritically asked (when the plate was almost empty) whether we would like another piece of bread. Otherwise the staff isn't that friendly either. A waiter did manage to smile, but only after we asked him to.

The pizzas were really good and the boss of the pizzeria was really fond of children. They even got a piece of candy from him for dessert 😊 And after eating they were able to jump around in the courtyard between the houses while we adults were able to finish our meal in peace. The only drawback is the small terrace outside with only 4 tables. So be sure to reserve in advance!

We were there while passing through and were looking forward to a delicious dinner, but were unfortunately disappointed. The salad wasn't cleaned properly and the dressing wasn't good either. The pizza bread was just average.

Aperol Spritz wasn't tasty, it barely bubbled and why isn't parmesan served with the pasta. Pizza bread with salad is at least delicious. Otherwise the food was boring, although the pasta did a little better than the pizza.

Well, it is a shame. It was the First Pizza/restaurant in my life that could have 5*****, but waiters did all to prevent that. The style of the Pizza/restaurant is good, it good place, romantic Venezia atmosphere, and perfect food…. But that's all… then waiters come with hate on you…. 2 times asking: Where is my main meal after 40 minutes of waiting? 3 times asking: Could I pay, please? Another 30minutes nothing happen…. But why?🤷‍♂️ Cuisine is good, but prepare yourself for the rest…Good luck

Food was really fine but the way how waiters (at least four at place) behaved was at least strange. One had to ask them repeatedly for a dish, to get a bill etc. What a pity!!!

The pizza was actually quite tasty, but the service was subpar. You don't feel welcome here. But the big thing was the 1.50 euro surcharge because our children shared a pizza. Without words.

The experience at this establishment was overall a negative one. First of all there is only cash payment, which is perfectly fine if it is mentioned before ordering. The staff was arrogant and unfriendly. When I asked for a glass of tap water that I ordered together with food and coffee I was refused it not nice way. The food was average at best. I recommend choosing any other restaurant around.

We were there yesterday and ordered bruschetta and pizza. We also told the rather unfriendly waiter that we had time and wanted to end the evening comfortably. Unfortunately, right after the starter came the main course - the pizzas. However, both pizzas were cold!! After a complaint, pizzas were remade and then brought to the table hot. We then ordered a tiramisu, which in our opinion had a bite and was therefore inedible. Due to the indifferent reaction of the waiter, who didn't even offer an apology, we just paid and left despite the downpour...

This Italian brings Italian flair to Lindau. Thanks to an attentive waiter, we were quickly provided with drinks and food. The pizza was to die for, as was the authentic bruschetta. Definitely worth a visit!

We went there for lunch today after - as is often the case - the sometimes very contradictory reviews were only partially helpful. We cannot understand some of the recent bad reviews. We both decided on a pizza and were very pleasantly surprised! Firstly, it was on the table very quickly and was perfect in every way and extremely tasty. The service was completely ok and it was very pleasant to sit in the square in front of the restaurant, as there was almost no traffic and not as crowded as on the main streets. We'd love to come back again at any time!

The visit to "La Fontana" (around 9:20 in the evening) was a complete disappointment in terms of service. The waitress (Luan) literally threw the missing cutlery into the middle of the table; The order was taken very quickly and we were given the impression that we would soon be calling it a day - our group was processed accordingly quickly by the waitress. We had barely taken three bites of our pizzas, which actually tasted quite solid, when waiter Luan announced that he wanted to cash in. Card payment didn't work (that wasn't apparent anywhere beforehand). There was no question as to whether we wanted to order anything else or anything like that. Conclusion: Service: 0 points; Price-performance ratio: no relation to each other; Politeness: Can negative points be awarded?

Absolutely not recommended! Bad food & bad service: Very unfriendly waiter. Not enough cutlery was brought and the main course came before the starter. In addition, the main courses came 20 minutes apart, which of course isn't possible at all. The salad was mini and came without dressing. The food wasn't good and especially the portion of noodles was an absolute disgrace. My father's beef meal was completely tough. Generally rather rip off, unfriendly and no love for Italian cuisine.

Arriving at midday, after 35km around the lake by bike, we wanted to eat a good pizza. When we arrived, the waiter told us that there were only pizzas.... OK, no worries, that's fine with us. Looking at the other customers on the way out, we noticed that the other customers had other dishes... Surprise when leaving they demand that we pay in cash... 152€... Brief... Otherwise the pizzas were delicious...

Update from April 2024: The restaurant is attempting to have this review deleted via Google after 11 months! Attention, negative reviews will probably be consistently deleted here!!! Rating from April 2023: Huge discrepancy between appearance and reality. You can probably eat a pizza here, but you shouldn't have any expectations about your food. As a starter we had an "antipasti platter" for 2, on which there was not a single antipasti to be found. That was simply pizza toppings (salami, ham, etc.) arranged on a plate...for €20! When the same topping appeared on the pizza we ordered as the main course, we could only laugh. I myself had tagliatelle in what was supposed to be a lobster white wine sauce, which, despite adding what felt like half a kilo of salt, simply tasted like nothing. We hadn't eaten anything all day and were very hungry, so we didn't let anything go back that we should have done. Definitely not recommended. The food is beautifully prepared, which you can also see in the photos. But the quality just isn't right.

I'm only giving this restaurant one star because it's not possible for me to give zero. My visit to this restaurant was a deep disappointment. After waiting over an hour and a half for our food, the frustration was compounded when we discovered that, although we were initially told that we had run out of pizzas, other tables after us had ordered and received exactly that. To make the situation even worse, the waiter who served us was extremely rude and rude, which made the entire experience even more unpleasant. We had a tuna salad, pasta with mushrooms and crabs and a salmon fillet with potatoes. The tuna salad had several chunks of tuna in it. It was also very dry. The noodles, mushrooms and shrimp tasted like they came from a can and were swimming in a sauce that tasted like water and oil. The fillet was served on a lettuce leaf without dressing. The potatoes were very small and lacked salt. We sat in the back and the door kept opening and being opened. Accordingly, it was very drafty. An absolute flop for 90 euros.

Wir waren vor einiger Zeit mit unserem Besuch hier. Pizza war okay. 3 Personen hatten Nudelgerichte, alle schmeckten nach nichts, selbst Nudeln mit Gorgonzola. Nudeln waren verkocht. Der Oberhammer war aber: auf Nachfrage nach Parmesan, kam Streukäse aus der Tüte. Wir haben uns geschämt, so eine Wirtschaft ausgewählt zu haben. Nie wieder!

We were there in the evening and each ordered pasta. The Penne Amatriciana is really tasty, even though the ham is served in very large slices (!!!). However, the salmon noodles were beyond my imagination: the skin and oil still stuck to the bottom of the salmon. The pieces were completely fried to death. Just not tasty. Prices are okay; the wine too

We were there on New Year's Eve, the food was very tasty. The starter, main course and dessert were great. We were served very nicely and the atmosphere is also great when we are in Lindau again. We'd love to go there again.
