Pinocchio Pizzeria - Ristorante in Lindau (Bodensee)

Pizza war okay, leider kam eine andere als bestellt. Beim 2ten Besuch war alles außer das Bier und die Pasta ungenügend. Fleisch wurde aufgetaut, wenn man Ahnung hat, dann fällt es auf! Meine Frau liess nach einer Reklamation ihr Gericht zurück gehen. Nach dem zweiten Versuch ließ sie das Essen nach anfänglichen probieren stehen. Keine Entschuldigung nichts. Haben für unseren Verzehr 70€ bezahlt. Für uns keine Empfehlung außer vielleicht Pizza, wenn man denn die gewünschte bekommt. Für das Geld ist es wohl nicht Zuviel verlangt. Anscheinend ist Name vom Restaurant wohl Programm.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im diesem Lokal. Beim ersten mal wollten wir Spaghetti Frutti di Mare und Pizza mit Meeresfrüchten, es kam die falsche ( Thunfisch ) Pizza und Meeresfrüchte musste man in den Nudeln suchen. Nun zum 2ten mal lief noch mehr daneben. Bestellt wurde Lammkotelett und Rumpsteak mit Bandnudeln laut Karte. Die Lammkotelett konnte man zwar verzehren, aber jeder Grieche bekommt das besser hin. Das Rumpsteak war aufgetautes Rindfleisch circa 0,5 cm wurde das Essen reklamiert und zurück gegeben. Nach erneutem servieren das gleiche Problem. Daraufhin wurde nochmals die Bestellung angesprochen und wir bekamen die Auskunft, dass ein normales Rumpsteak 70€ kosten würde. Wir haben mit beiden Gerichten und 4 Bier 70€ bezahlt und haben laut dem Kellner Geld gespart. Wir werden dieses Lokal nicht mehr Betreten. Wir fragen uns wo die Bewertung bei Google herkommt? Von uns keine Empfehlung!

Wir wollten Pizzas zum Mitnehmen bestellen, wurden jedoch während rund 30 Minuten komplett ignoriert. Als wir versuchten nachzufragen, wo wir bestellen können, wurde uns von einem Kellner lediglich mit einer Handbewegung signalisiert, zur Seite zu gehen. Das gesamte Auftreten wirkte auf uns sehr chaotisch und leider hatte man eher das Gefühl, bewusst nicht wahrgenommen zu werden. Selbstverständlich haben wir Verständnis dafür, wenn es bei hohem Gästeaufkommen zu längeren Wartezeiten kommt. Was wir jedoch nicht nachvollziehen können, ist der fehlende Umgang und die mangelnde Kommunikation gegenüber wartenden Gästen. Nach insgesamt rund 45 Minuten haben wir uns entschieden, zur Wurstbude nebenan zu gehen. Dort mussten wir keine 10 Minuten warten – nicht weil weniger los war, sondern weil der Ablauf organisiert und strukturiert wirkte.

Auch so kann essen auf einem Campingplatz sein. Sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung. Schöne Lokalität und seit langem mal wieder eine sehr gute Pizza (Pizza Capri) gegessen. Hier würde ich auch essen, wenn ich nicht Gast auf dem Campingplatz wäre. Dankeschön, es war sehr gut.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut – geschmacklich absolut top. Leider war der Service dafür eine komplette Enttäuschung. Wir waren kurz davor wieder aufzustehen und zu gehen, weil wir erst nach zweimaligem Nachfragen und rund 25 Minuten überhaupt Getränke und Essen bestellen konnten. Dasselbe Problem hatten während unseres Aufenthalts auch zwei andere Tische neben uns. Eine zweite Getränkerunde haben wir ebenfalls bestellt, diese kam aber auch nach 15–20 Minuten nicht. Am Ende haben wir bezahlt und sind gegangen. Der Service wirkt leider extrem unorganisiert und überfordert, dass obwohl nicht viel los war. (4 Bedingungen) Mein Fazit: Essen definitiv empfehlenswert, aber lieber zum Mitnehmen bestellen/abholen. Vor Ort sitzen würde ich nicht nochmal.

Die Pasta war sehr gut, auch die pizza war super, geführt von einer wirklich freundlichen Familie.

Wir haben uns 3 Pizzen zum Abholen bestellt, die Bestellung lief absolut problemlos, die Sonderwünsche wurden gerne gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis berücksichtigt. Die Pizzen waren pünktlich zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt abholbereit. Geschmacklich waren sie super und gut belegt. Preislich auch voll okay. Gerne wieder!

Seit der Renovierung im letzten Jahr hat sich das Ristorante Pizzeria Pinocchio wirklich toll entwickelt. Nicht nur das Ambiente ist deutlich schöner geworden, auch der Service überzeugt mit Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit. Das Essen war super lecker – besonders die Pizza aus dem Steinbackofen ist ein echtes Highlight! Ein kleines Stück Italien direkt am Campingplatz. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Die Leute, die uns mit ihrer Gruppe zu Pinocchio mitgenommen haben, kommen oft hierher, weil es ein wirklich authentisch italienisches Erlebnis ist. 😍 Seit die Familie Caprio das Restaurant übernommen hat, hat sich viel getan. Sehr freundlicher, schneller Service. Die Spaghetti waren sehr lecker und die Pizza schön dünn, knusprig und gut belegt. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an sehr guten Weiß- und Rotweinen. Zum Abschluss noch ein Hausgemachtes Tiramisu als i- Tüpfelchen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr leckere Pizza,aufmerksames , freundliches Personal. AMBIENTE könnte man ein wenig verbessern, aber das ist Geschmackssache, wir haben uns trotzdem wohl gefühlt.

The pizzas are really good, and we also really enjoyed the desserts. The staff is very friendly. Even if some of them don't speak German very well, I personally don't think that's a problem. The atmosphere is a bit simple and lackluster. We've never tried pasta before. A friend once ordered pasta and it was missing an ingredient, but she said it still tasted okay. The prices are also perfectly reasonable. There's even a special children's menu.

"Restaurant with an identity problem" Is it really a restaurant? Or is it more like a pizza-to-go? We ate at Pinocchio today because we knew from our last visit that the pizza there tastes great. Today we had the special. Very tasty and the quality was good. What's not right, however, is the service and processes. We arrived at the restaurant around 6:45 p.m., where we were asked if we had a reservation. Unfortunately, we didn't. However, we were allowed to find a table inside and were told it could take 20-30 minutes. Unfortunately, we – and the table next to us – had to wait almost an hour before even our drinks were brought. Meanwhile, you can watch other guests simply pick up their pizzas. You go to the waiter and order to go. Your order is taken, and you receive a receipt. You then simply pick up your pizza with this receipt. The problem with this: Many of those who arrived after us already had their pizzas in their hands before we were even allowed to order. As a guest in the restaurant, it feels as if this is a pizza-to-go place with a restaurant attached to it – not like a restaurant that also offers a pickup service. The priority here is clearly on the pickup service, and as a restaurant guest, you feel absolutely second-rate and completely ripped off. More and more guests came to order a pizza to go – while we had to wait longer. You sit there and think, "It's a topsy-turvy world"... we'd even leave money for the already expensive drinks and tips... but no... we weren't high on that priority list. Only when the crowds died down were our drinks taken, and even then, it took a long time to get them. The order is still taken the old-fashioned way, with pen and paper. This, of course, costs extra time for the already understaffed restaurant, as the payment then has to be entered again later at the cash register. When you finally get your food, however, you can truly savor the taste, because it's top-notch! On the subject of staff, Pinocchio now also operates an ice cream truck downstairs on the campsite. This, of course, ties up additional staff. However, the quality is also top-notch here. The ice cream is also top-notch! I always find it a shame when a shop doesn't utilize its potential. Processes urgently need to be revised, and you have to be clear about what you want to be. Anyone who is already struggling with understaffing should focus even more on properly functioning processes and automation wherever possible. Currently, we can only recommend that every camper avoid eating on site and pick up their pizza – it's much faster.

Worst pizzeria ever, they only take debit cards and just want to maximize their profits! I find that below par for a pizzeria on a campsite! They accept all cards everywhere, not even at all. The main thing is that the profit is right! Fresh

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. First, they dropped the pizza on the table, then forgot the salami. The pizza was immediately taken away with the promise that we'd make a new one. Then the same pizza arrived again with raw salami on top...

I highly recommend this pizzeria. The staff is very friendly, and the pizza is absolutely delicious 😋. The pasta and sauce were also very good and fruity and fresh. My highlight was the garlic oil :) that you get as an extra.

After seafood salad and lemon schnitzel, I spent the next few days with fever, chills, and diarrhea. It definitely tasted good, and the service was top-notch.

Not enough staff for the large campsite. It's a shame, because the food is reasonably priced and really good. Camping should be spontaneous, and not require a reservation. Four people wanted to go out to eat at 6:45 p.m. but were told to wait until 8:00 p.m. There were no people sitting in the restaurant, only about 40-50 people on the terrace.

First of all, we ate here on a holiday/long weekend. There seemed to be a lot of guests considering it was still off-season. However, only three tables were occupied inside. We waited an hour before our order was even taken! Even though we asked several times. Unfortunately, there were no alternatives in the meantime, otherwise we probably would have left. It took another 30 minutes for a cup of tea and pizza bread to arrive. The water was forgotten. When we ran to the pizza oven because the kids were bored, it was running without a pizza in it, yet five people were waiting for their ordered food. The pizza chef was completely relaxed. In general, the service staff didn't seem very organized, and there were no staff at the bar. An hour after placing our order, the rest of the food arrived (pasta with tomato sauce for the kids, lasagna warmed in the pizza oven). One star for the good taste! Four stars deducted for the lack of service and the poor ambiance inside, as well as unmotivated and poorly organized staff. We left shortly before 10pm as almost the last table, very disappointing unfortunately.

After the restaurant next door received rather negative reviews, we decided on the campsite's pizzeria and were very positively surprised: very pleasant service and the calzone pizza was simply outstanding - the best I've ever eaten! Both the dough and the filling were very tasty. A Quattro Stagione pizza was also the finest. It's nice (unfortunately rare) that there is something like this on a campsite!

We waited 20 minutes for a table or an order. People were sent away again, we then left voluntarily and ordered from Lieferando. The place was only half full and it was already 7:30 p.m.

Absolute recommendation. You have to bring some time, especially when there is a lot going on. But it's definitely worth it. We ordered pizza and it was absolutely excellent and super tasty. The terrace looked freshly done. The staff is very nice and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Today, on our way back from Italy, we had dinner at the pizzeria at the Gitzenweiler Hof campsite. The pizza surpassed anything we've ever had. It was very large and generously tossed. Simply perfect. The meals served at the other tables also looked delicious. The service was perfect and extremely friendly. We'll be back.

July 2024 Food, the pasta came 5 minutes earlier than the pizza. They looked more like children's porridge, the noodles were very bland, calling them pasta would be an insult of the first order. Pizza so-so. Save yourself the whole thing at the pizzeria. I would have liked to drink a second wheat, but no one noticed the empty glass. You always don't see twice in life with Pinocchio. Oh yes, credit cards are not accepted either!

Unfortunately, the ambience had a bit of a dining room feel, otherwise there is nothing to complain about: the bruschetta was particularly good, as was the tiramisu. Both prepared tastefully and with a lot of effort. For the main course we had pizza and I have to say it was one of the better ones when you go to an Italian restaurant. Good dough, good ingredients, well-rounded taste experience. Courteous nice staff. We felt very well looked after. However, it was no longer high season, so it was a very subjective impression. In any case, we really enjoy going here again.

We visited you for the first time today and would come more often if we lived here. We had the bruschetta - super tasty, crispy and well seasoned The salad with chicken breast - fresh ingredients, good quantity, sophisticated marinade perfect. 2 Aperol that didn't taste watered down (as is often the case in Italy) A very delicate pizza that tastes absolutely perfect. Well topped, fresh and the pizza dough was really tasty. And then a panna cotta and the most delicious tiramisu I have ever eaten. Everything tasted so delicious, so authentic. Bravo.The staff were attentive and very friendly. Everything went quickly and discreetly. Card payment was no problem. Unfortunately, the tip could not be paid by card. One more thing... Dear visitors: If you are dissatisfied, have the courage to clarify everything on site. That's fair. The toilets were clean but the staff is responsible for the kitchen not the toilets you use. I don't think it's okay to talk about language skills.

The pizza is so soft in the middle that when you pick it up, the entire topping slides off and the tomato sauce tastes like it comes from a ready-made package. The food is prepared with high efficiency and freshness. The pizzas and pastas are characterized by an intense flavor and correspond to the preferences of the customers. The portions are generous, also with regard to the children's portions. Particularly noteworthy is the attractive price level. Hot and garlic oil are provided at the table.

Food was catastrophic, the pizza 🍕 was baked too hot. That means the bottom is black from the bottom and the dough doesn't get through, especially since it hardly had any taste. The spaghetti Bolognese was totally over salted and had what felt like 5 crumbs of minced meat. If you could give 0 stars I would give it, especially since it was the second time with the pizza. Never again, I can't recommend it to anyone.

The atmosphere is not inviting, everything is dirty on the floor and there is even a cleaning rag lying around. The service staff was completely overwhelmed by the guests. In my opinion, you have to be a little more prepared in high season. The food wasn't bad for the price.

First we wanted to pre-order by phone to take away. No one could be reached by phone, so we went to the restaurant and wanted to order there, after 20 minutes nobody came and the queue got longer. We gave it another chance and sat down and wanted to eat there. After another 15 minutes the menu arrived and 30 minutes later we were able to order. The food came relatively quickly and unfortunately only tasted average. Communication was difficult because the staff spoke little or only poor German. All in all you can say that it is very disorganized and the food is just so bad.

In a hurry, didn't reserve but still got a table. Staff so friendly. One pizza good, one pizza (with egg) not good. Egg white was still liquid. Staff were made aware of this, pizza went into the oven for another 2 minutes. Oh okay, unfortunately the bottom is raw. This pizza was nothing. Staff asked about the raw floor, he saw it, grimaced and…..not a word. The bill was full, no half price for the obviously raw pizza, no small ice cream for the child, no “sorry”, no nothing. A sentence with an X, there will only be a reunion from a distance.

We were there at the beginning of June and could sit outside on the terrace. The service was attentive. The food came quickly. The quality was very mixed. Changes were not implemented in the kitchen, whether it was due to the communication of the service or the kitchen itself, I cannot judge. Requests for missing changes remained open due to unavailable service personnel. Of course, the changes were accounted for. Overall, you can say that there are enough staff and the quality needs to be improved urgently. At all positions.

You don't have to go to Italy to eat authentic Italian food. It's been a long time since I've had such a tasty and rich Italian meal. So definitely inexpensive. “Scaloppine al Limone” with a great, slightly buttery lemon sauce; plus tagliatelle - that's it - you don't need anything else. The spaghetti with salmon in tomato sauce also tasted delicious - just like "Mama". Everything is a bit rustic with classic dishes and not so clear portions with huge plates and a lot of decoration on the edge for a lot of money, which is unfortunately often the trend in the "in restaurants". This is the typical Italian cuisine that you know from the past and that is still cooked in Italy today if you ask the locals where they go out to eat. Compliments for the kitchen - grazie mille!!!

The staff doesn't understand German. You can only place normal orders, they don't understand other things. A waiter speaks German. And that one was particularly pissy. My Al-Forno was very pale and only baked well after sending it back twice, but it tasted pretty neutral. They had completely forgotten my husband's food. Our conclusion: Not a second time.

We arrived at the restaurant in the evening with 16 people without prior reservation. Despite the well-filled restaurant, we were warmly greeted and, thanks to the extremely friendly service, from taking the order to having eaten our fill, we were completely satisfied within less than an hour. The pizzas are very tasty, various pasta dishes were also found to be good and the portions were also found to be sufficient. The staff tried very hard and were also up for a joke or two. Even picking up food at the campsite was possible with advance payment in a very short time despite the large quantity and everyone enjoyed it. We can absolutely recommend the place as a camping restaurant (here, as a tent camper, you won't be looked at strangely if, for example, you don't come out of the tent to eat in rainy weather) We'll definitely come back. Hungry after arriving and setting up, we stopped at the pizzeria. The ambience has something of a train station hall and you feel a little being watched by the large number of staff. The terrace is definitely nice when the weather is nice, but unfortunately we didn't find it very comfortable inside. We had a pizza that was ready very quickly, but could have stayed in the oven for another 2 minutes. In terms of taste it wasn't an experience. The spaghetti ala chef came shortly after the pizza, unfortunately the pasta was totally watery and overcooked. The sauce wasn't great either. Our conclusion: it filled you up, but it doesn't need a repeat.

During the off-season, the service is really good, people ask regularly but not in a harassing manner whether everything is OK, there is 1 staff who doesn't speak good German but warm Italian, which is very authentic to me, this staff can take orders and understands exactly what they're doing If you want to order there were no problems, this staff doesn't charge anything, so I don't understand the other reviews about it at all and don't think they are justified. The other waitresses are also very friendly and you feel very comfortable. The only point of criticism is that there are 5 employees there even in the off-season, but I explain that by saying that last year there was a massive staff shortage during the season and that the restaurant wants to avoid that. I understand the criticism of the others, because the employees really look at you and you are literally waiting for work. Not only does it look unpleasant, but you also have to pay. For me, the black-haired employee speaks the least German and is the most superfluous. She stands at the front the whole time and watches everything, but she doesn't do any work. The blonde woman gives you the cards and clears the table. In my opinion, it couldn't be more unnecessary since the 2 or 3 men do everything anyway. During the season it must be a little more disorganized, but you have now increased your staff. I have to agree that the pizza wasn't quite cooked through, but the pasta was very tasty.

It's been a long time since I've eaten such good pizza 🍕. When we are on the Gitz it is a MUST stop here. The people at Pinoccio are all nice and friendly. The menu is extensive, not only pizza but also meat dishes, various pastas, fish and salads... Everything is wonderful and served quite quickly. GRACE

Were at the campsite for the first time and got pizza today. In 10 minutes 6 pizzas and tortellini were ready. They were hot and good. Can't find anything negative about it. Absolutely sufficient at the campsite. Next time we'll get them again 👍🏼

We were guests at the campsite last week and visited the pizzeria there. We ordered different dishes across the menu. The base of one pizza was borderline burnt. My son had a pasta dish in such a small portion that the price was extortionate! Of course everyone has to live, but if the child isn't satisfied with the portion >you might have to think about it. My wife ordered a pizza bread. They wanted extra money for this, for the tomato sauce on the menu... lack of knowledge of their own menu! In terms of taste, it was in the lower third for our palate. The service seemed overwhelmed to me, there were a total of 10 guests at the time. One had the impression that no one knew what they were doing and felt like they were being watched. It wasn't our first time there, but probably our last time in the pizzeria. Unfortunately, the long-term campers at the site with whom I spoke didn't have anything good to say either. It's a shame that the tenant has changed.

Unfortunately, the quality and taste of the food is not comparable to the previous tenant. There was so little pasta dish (tortellini panna) to take away that a 6 year old was just full. The price-performance ratio is not right here. As regular customers at the Gitz, we enjoyed eating there on every holiday for years. Now a disappointment.

During our stay at Gitz we ate here three times. It was simply fantastic and delicious. The service was friendly and accommodating. Keep it up. We will be back definitely.
