Sehr urig. Essen und Bier sehr gut.

Das Essen war nahezu Perfekt! Frische Gerichte und Diverse Köstlichkeiten die man unbedingt sehen muss. Mehr gefällt mir aber der Service, auf Anfrage für 2 Personen vor Ort, hat uns der Kellnerchef direkt ein romantisches Zimmer im historischen Stil überlassen was unsere Date natürlich auf ein andere Level gebracht hat. Vielen Dank dafür nochmal 🙏

Eines unserer Lieblingslokale. Service absolut top. Wir durften mittags auch mal länger bleiben, als wir die Zeit übersehen hatten. Nächster Besuch ist schon eingeplant.

Tolle Atmosphäre und super Essen

Ein rundum tolles Restaurant! Freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service und eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Das Gericht war ein echtes Highlight.Zartes Fleisch, perfekt gegarter Spargel und eine unglaublich leckere Sauce. Alles geschmacklich top abgestimmt absolut empfehlenswert! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Im Prinzip ist es dort wirklich sehr sehr schön. Tolles Ambiente. Und manchmal hat man auch einen richtig netten Kellner. Ich wohne erst seit Anfang des Jahres hier in Rosenheim und muss sagen der erste Besuch war wirklich super das Essen ebenfalls. Beim zweiten Besuch hatten wir eine Dame die wirklich sehr daran interessiert irgendwas etwas zu verkaufen.. Sehr stoisch, gelangweilt wirkte sie, naja vielleicht hat es ja einen schlechten Tag.. Leider war an diesem Tag auf das Essen irgendwie nicht wie beim ersten Mal. Ich hatte mir Spaghetti mit Vongole bestellt. Da war frische Chili drin, das stand definitiv nicht dabei und ich konnte es kaum essen weil es echt scharf war. Also das muss vorher irgendwo stehen oder gesagt werden denn das kann ja einfach nicht jeder Essen und möchte vielleicht auch nicht jeder essen?! Die Käseauswahl zum Dessert fand ich jetzt auch etwas übersichtlich und wenig einfallsreich angerichtet. Aber ich möchte hier nicht nur schlechtes berichten denn es ist eigentlich wirklich immer gut auch von anderen die ich kenne sagen es ist immer gut. Bevor man sein Essen bekommt bekommt man immer ein paar Oliven mit Weißbrot das ist wirklich immer sehr sehr lecker! Als Tipp für den Gastgeber - es wäre Olivenöl noch ganz praktisch zum dippen..? Ist aber vermutlich zu teuer. Ich habe zum Beispiel auch schon eine Fischsuppe gegessen die war wirklich unglaublich gut!! Und der Tiramisu ist auch sehr lecker! Ein Freund hatte ein Rindersteak im Menü. Das war wohl hervorragend. Als Vorspeise gab es irgendwas mit Trüffel das wurde auch sehr gelobt. Wir waren dann noch ein andermal und haben einen Antipasti Teller gegessen das war wirklich super lecker - wie gesagt vielleicht war das an einem Tag einfach schlecht getroffen... Aber wir sind alle nur Menschen Ich komme auf alle Fälle wieder 👋🏻😊

Ein ausgezeichnetes Restaurant! In der Speisekarte finden sich nicht nur die üblichen Pizzen/Pasta sondern auch italienische Fleischgerichte sowie Fisch und ein paar wechselnde Gerichte. Wir aßen als Vorspeise Vitello Tonnato & Penne Arabiatta, danach Kalbsleber Veniziana und als Dessert Tiramisu. Alles war exzellent - eines der besten italienischen Lokale in denen ich je war. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Ambiente ist einmalig!!! Der Service sehr nett und hilfsbereit und das Essen war sehr gut im Geschmack! Das Fleisch sehr zart und die Dekoration schön!!! Wir werden wieder kommen! Das Lokal ist sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Den Service müssen wir auf 6 Sterne dank Salvatore ändern. Das 7-Gänge-Menü, ein einziger Traum. Die gesamte Belegschaft war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hoch professionell. Sie alle machten den Aufenthalt im Il Convento zu einem einzigartigen Erlebnis. "Wir kommen wieder" - Drohung und Versprechen...;-)

Netter Service, sehr netter Chef,tolles Ambiente,....

Wir waren gestern zu viert dort essen und waren gänzlich begeistert. Das Ambiente ist einmalig, das Essen qualitativ hochwertig, super lecker und der Service exzellent. Leider weiß ich den Namen unseres Kellners nicht mehr, aber trotzdem möchte ich ein besonderes Lob für den Herren aussprechen. So aufmerksam und freundlich wird man nicht immer bedient. Ich wurde auch gefragt, ob der Fisch für mich filetiert werden soll. Wirklich klasse. Dieses Restaurant ist wirklich eine 10/10 und wir werden sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal da gewesen sein.

Kurz und knapp einfach genial und 5 Sterne zu wenig!! Wir haben lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen und hatten einen wunderschönen Abend. Wir kannten dieses Restaurant noch nicht und sind absolut begeistert! Unser Kellner war so aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend, das hat man selten. Ein Besuch ist hier ein "muss" wenn man gutes Essen und perfekten Service schätzt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, vielen Dank für diesen super schönen Abend! Reservierung per E-Mail über den Link funktioniert nicht, als ich dann per Telefon reserviert habe und die angesprochen habe, wurde ich nicht so freundlich darauf hingewiesen, dass E-Mail funktioniert und sie den ganzen Tag haufenweise E-Mails bekommen und ich nicht recht habe (auf einen Link klicken bei dem sich das E-Mail Programm öffnet und man nach der Texteingabe auf senden drückt sollte eigentlich machbar sein) Essen war ok, geschmacklich durchschnittlich; beim Salat war eine Gurke mit grauem Pelz dabei. Service wirkt eher unaufmerksam für dieses Ambiente (mussten für die Bestellung der Getränke sehr lange warten; bei Nachbestellung der Getränke kam lange nichts, dann kam es doppelt). Ambiente ist sehr toll - schade, dass es das Il Monastero nicht mehr gibt.

Waren mit der ganzen Familie ( 3Kinder zwischen 6 und 8) hier beim Essen. Die Location ist wirklich einzigartig. In diesem Stil sieht man heutzutage nicht mehr viele Restaurants und die Kids sind aus dem staunen gar nicht mehr raus gekommen. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt auf jeden Fall. Das absolute Highlight für uns war der Service. Vom Abnehmen der Mäntel bis zur kleinen Aufmerksamkeit für unsere Kinder absolut top. Das Personal lässt einen mit seinem italienischen Charm den Alltag vergessen. Wer will kann im angrenzenden Hotel auch übernachten. Alles in allem ein gelungener Besuch mit sehr leckerem Essen und top Service!!

Was für ein wunderbarer Geheimtipp! Wir haben auf dem Weg nach Innsbruck dort zu Mittag gegessen und waren begeistert! Die Pasta war hervorragend und die Atmosphäre mit den überall brennenden Kerzen romantisch und mittelalterlich.

Romantic Evening at "Il Contento" The "Il Contento" in Rosenheim was an absolute revelation for me. I had a romantic dinner here with my girlfriend, and the entire location is simply magnificent. The building, the decor, and the staff – everything is so lovingly designed. Even though it's in the middle of Rosenheim's commercial district, you feel like you're in Tuscany. The food and service were outstanding. If you want to spend a few relaxing hours with loved ones and enjoy excellent food, this is the place to be. My girlfriend and I will definitely be back again. Thank you for a fantastic evening!

It is always an experience to eat here.

We were passing through and stumbled upon this lovely and excellent restaurant by chance (our accommodation recommended it to us). We shared a fantastic starter between the two of us, followed by delicious pasta with beef, mushrooms, and arugula, and for dessert, a combination of three specialties (shared between us). The food was cooked with such love, served with such care, and the whole atmosphere complemented it all. We'll be back and highly recommend this restaurant.

Historic restaurant, excellent Italian cuisine, very friendly staff!

From the outside, the well-filled restaurant looked quaint and cozy. Unfortunately, the waiter didn't inform us that he would no longer be serving the terrace at 9:00 PM (even though he saw us). That was a shame, because after the long journey, we would have been looking forward to some refreshing drinks.

We had a very pleasant evening in a lovely atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the service was very friendly, competent, and prompt. Highly recommended!

We visited this beautiful restaurant yesterday. Our pasta dishes were excellent and delicious. The service was very attentive.

I found this place by chance, and I'd say "luckily." The charm is evident from the outside, with a medieval style that extends throughout the restaurant, even the bathrooms! Superlative dishes; among the ones we tried, the lasagna even surpassed Italian lasagna. Very friendly staff; we were warmly welcomed by Salvatore, who delighted us with his presence and made us feel right at home. The food is high quality, justifying the price. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat Italian food in Germany!

The Italian restaurant is part of the Hotel San Gabriele. The monastery setting has something special, even if it's a "fake," a modern replica. During our visit to the hotel, we chose a seat outside under the arcades. The absolute highlight of this restaurant is without question the service. Salvatore, our server for that evening, looked after all the tables and guests outside simultaneously, demonstrating his entertainer's qualities while providing first-class service: Chapeau. The restaurant also boasts excellent cuisine. The Vitello Tonnato was one of the best we've ever eaten and we highly recommend it.

We had the 4-course menu, which was truly delicious. Super friendly service and a beautiful and unique ambiance. We'd love to come back :)

A culinary experience of the highest caliber! We booked the "Our Day" package, including a 7-course dinner menu at Ristorante Il Convento – and it was simply fantastic. Every single dish was finely balanced, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. You feel like you're dining in Southern Italy – a true highlight. We were accompanied throughout the evening by Mr. Salvatore, who provided perfect service with heart, attention, and just the right mix of professionalism and relaxedness. You can tell he's truly passionate about his work – we felt completely at ease and well looked after. The ambience in the restaurant is stylish and fits wonderfully with the special flair of the entire hotel. An evening we won't soon forget. A table for 6 people was quickly provided for us without a reservation. The food was delicious and refreshing, and we were impressed by the quality. The portion sizes were just right – especially if you order an appetizer or dessert. The service was friendly and had a pleasant, humorous tone. My only minor criticism: drinks and bread could have arrived a little earlier. We were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance. It's very cozy and beautifully decorated, albeit a bit dark. It was nice that they brought us small table lamps – a nice touch that added more light and atmosphere.

First of all, we were passing through here on our way from Croatia to Saxony and stayed overnight at the hotel (which is in the same building). A very nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Very friendly service. All in all, we spent a lovely evening here. The only drawback was the portion size. The price-performance ratio here is not at all right. The price is excessive for the portions served. High-quality cuisine, but the price is still too high for the portion size. Despite everything, we spent a very lovely evening here!

Great restaurant with exceptionally good service and very good food.

I called twice, and both times they simply hung up on me in the middle of the conversation. I was also passed from one employee to another, and none of them was able to take my order. When I asked how long it would take to pick up, they simply hung up. If you didn't want it, you could have just said so. I ended up getting food somewhere else. It's a shame.

In my opinion, the value for money is average – the quality justifies the prices, even if they are a bit higher. The only drawback: finding parking can sometimes be difficult, which requires some patience, especially during peak times. Overall, however, this is a recommended restaurant for anyone who wants to enjoy good food in a stylish setting.

Fake monastery and eternally boring menu.

Is this kind of weird to find a convent on a parking spot of a kaufland but the rest of my visit was nice. The food was delicious and I must say everyone who comes around should eat at least a bit of spaghetti.

Unique ambience, great service with individual and authentic wine selection and cuisine. The beef fillet in particular was perfect. Absolute recommendation!

A very special and unique restaurant. The waiters are dressed as monks and the interior is just like an old convent, just like the rest of the hotel, simply amazing. The food is Italian and really delicious, the restaurant is run by Italians, the staff speaks Italian, English and German. This time we brought our small dog with us, she was served water and was made very welcome. It’s the second time we were there, and just like the first time, the food was amazing and the service top class and very friendly. We will definitely eat there very time we stay in the San Gabriele Hotel, which will be 6-8 times a year.

Very nice atmosphere and good cuisine. Maybe you shouldn't be in a rush, but it's rare to find a restaurant like this. Italian restaurant or not - there are also excellent microbreweries in Italy. A small selection of beers would top off the overall impression.

Very unfortunate that the food was not good. The ambience is great. Very nice restaurant in the style of a medieval monastery, just like the hotel in which it is located. But unfortunately we didn't have any good Italian food. The salmon was overcooked, the pasta with vegetables had a watery tomato sauce with no taste, the antipasti were ice cold and therefore tasted of nothing, and the tomato salad consisted of two sliced ​​tomatoes with half a red onion. The only dishes that tasted okay were the minestrone soup and the grilled piece of meat. We thought it was insufficient quality for too much money (3 starters, 3 main courses, 1 beer, 2 wine 130 euros). I would like to recommend that they prepare the dishes they currently have on the menu in a different way and add pizza to the menu. Simple, affordable, and - if prepared properly - very tasty, and above all less room for error. Especially because the place deserves a better restaurant.

From the incredibly good cuisine, which has so much love, to our waiter, Alessandro, who lightened up the evening with his charming manner. We look forward to the next perfect evening here! :)

Food was ok but nothing special. But service was subpar. We were eating with a group of 7 people. Unfortunately the waiter/kitchen forgot a meal. Instead of apologizing, the waiter yelled at us that he now had to pay for this out of his own pocket. (For whatever reason. We didn't think it was logical) The parking situation is also very bad. Nice location in a vaulted cellar. Everything is a bit cramped in order to generate more space. Service was friendly. The starter (antipasti) was very well prepared, but very “clear”. For the main course I had the "large portion" - there is also a small one - of ravioli with ricotta and spinach filling in a butter and sage sauce. When the plate arrived, everyone at the table became quiet and then laughter ensued from everyone. There were 3 of them!!! Ravioli on the plate. For a price of €15.50 it's absolutely outrageous for me. When I asked the waiter what the small portion was, I shrugged my shoulders. I'm willing to pay more for good food, but if you get up hungry... Unfortunately for me/us it's a really shameless rip-off - what a shame!

Hier kann man sich fühlen wie in einem mittelalterlichen Kloster, der Ober kommt sogar mit Kutte an den Tisch. Küche und Keller erfreuen den Gast, im Sommer ist die überdachte Terrasse der Hit. Für unvorhergesehene Alkoholgenüsse kann man auch ein Zimmer im angeschlossenen Hotel buchen.

As always... the food was excellent, very fresh local fish, very special and the staff were friendly and nice.

Our experience was ok. We rated 3 because (we were 4 persons). Two ordered baby calamari and it was good. One ordered Brodetto Di Peace, and it was lukewarm, almost cold and it felt like it had been prepared for a long time. Another person ordered pasta with meat and it was a lit bit greasy. A little overpriced.

Until yesterday I was in Rome Lazio, Abruzzo and Toscana for 5 days. I have never eaten as well or had a nicer atmosphere anywhere than here in San Gabriele. Seafood salad super fresh and attractively presented, veal liver in a wonderful sage and white wine sauce and fried to perfection. (Not dry) Great service! Everything is just perfect! Thanks!

Il Convento is a very romantic, beautiful restaurant that you should definitely see. The standard here is very high and you get first-class dishes, the finest quality and great service. We got a wonderful place in a small room with a great ambience, medieval elements, candlelight and great service. We decided on the 4 course menu and were pleasantly surprised. The first course of antipasti from the display case was very tasty, served with white bread. Courses 2 and 3 were each a pasta dish and, depending on the choice, meat or fish. The desert was absolutely amazing. The best chocolate mousse I've ever eaten. Panna cotta and tiramisu also absolutely delicious. For such great quality, the price is absolutely reasonable. We'd love to come back when we're nearby.

We visited the restaurant during our stay at the hotel. The service was friendly and attentive - the dinner we chose was very tasty and in good edible portions. We sat in the small outdoor area, which is absolutely preferable to the very crowded and cramped interior...

Had pasta with seafood and scampi + pasta with crab meat and scampi, unfortunately 1 scampi was present for 1 person + 4 mussels and for the other only 2 + crab meat was not present. The flavors were good, but 17.50 euros for pasta with 4 mussels + 1 scampi and other pasta was also 17.50 euros for pasta with zucchini and 2 scampi without crab, still expensive... Cola was large for 3.50 euros but no gas + husband's red wine was perfectly ok. Nicely decorated, clean and service dressed as an abbot friendly.

First impression is that it is a rather interesting concept, monastery style and waiters in monk suits. But the meeting with this Italian-speaking waiter was unpleasant, arrogant and cold. You didn't feel welcome. When we had to pay by credit card, the waiter had a threatening attitude and asked if we wanted to tip. I answered no, as it is not exactly an experience we want to pay extra for. He then became even more uncomfortable and we hurried away. The food was ok by the way.

Sehr guter Italiener, location nicht 0815 sondern etwas ausgefallen und toll. Also, wer gut essen und trinken will und gleichzeitig ein tolles feeling möchte, ist hier richtig.
