Absolute favorite pub! The decor is lovingly put together, the staff is very welcoming and the selection of drinks and food is great. Another plus point: you can take your dog with you as there is no smoking in the front.

We had a lovely evening, it was incredibly cozy.

Gemütliches Pub mit schönem Biergarten – dank Decken und Heizstrahlern auch bei kühlerem Wetter top. Drinnen urig und mit Liebe gemacht. Kellnerin und Chef: herzlich, aufmerksam, einfach klasse.

Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed due to illness when I visited. But the waitress gave me permission to get food elsewhere and eat it in the ballroom. It wasn't necessary for me because my other guest didn't come or couldn't find the place. But I'm already looking forward to April, because I'll be there again then at the latest and also attend a concert at the location.

Als Besucher der ersten Stunde, des pubs, waren wir nach über 20 Jahren jetzt 2 mal in 6 Monaten zu Gast mit Freunden. Leider muss ich sagen, dass die Freundlichkeit des Personals nicht wirklich berauschend ist! Vorallem gestern(24.05.25) nicht!!! Der Kellner war tatsächlich ziemlich arrogant und anmaßend! Hab es tatsächlich noch nie erlebt, dass man vom Personal gemaßregelt wird, weil wir uns bei ihm (O-Ton) nicht angemeldet und uns sofort an einen Tisch setzten! Hätte man uns als unwissenden Gast auch im normalen, nicht schnippischen Ton sagen können. Zudem verstehe ich die Logik nicht, wenn die Öffnungszeiten bis 23 Uhr ausgeschrieben sind, bei noch guter Anzahl von Gästen, man 21:45 letzte Runde einläutet um 22:30 herausgebeten zu werden. Um sich dann vom gleichen Kellner wieder belehren und unterstellen zu lassen, ob man denn wirklich einen neuen Pitcher in 45 Minuten schafft?! Mit O-Ton: das haben schon andere, trinkfestere als DU behauptet und nicht geschafft! War jedenfalls ein ziemlich herablassender unfreundlicher Kellner! Schade um diese Lokalität! Wo in den 90ern echt noch super Servicekräfte waren! Fazit, das Guinness war lecker, der Service nicht

Top notch live music 10/10 recommend

Great atmosphere and good drinks. We received a very friendly welcome. There was live music, and the place was packed. Nevertheless, we didn't have to wait long for our drinks. Even as an unannounced group of five, we were still able to find a spot for ourselves around 10:00 p.m. We enjoyed our meal and would gladly come back.

Great service, good cuisine. Drinks taste delicious! I can absolutely recommend Irish in Plauen!

Gutes Bier, Gute Küche bis spät abends. Und wie beim ordentlichen Irish Pub üblich bleibt man nicht lange alleine. Cocktails gibt's wohl auch, aber wer geht dafür schon zum Iren? Dafür laufen die wichtigsten Fußballspiele auf mehreren Fernsehern.

Was in Chemnitz for the first time in ages, nice to see that the Pun was able to hold its own in the terminal, friendly great shop, keep up the good work👌
