Sehr angenehme Kneipe, hat noch lange Küchenzeiten. Musik könnte etwas mehr zum Ambiente passen und nicht unbedingt 08/15 Pop sein

Danke... Wir hatten einen ganz tollen Fußballabend trotz Regenwetter... Ich empfehle dringend den Salat mit gebratener Hähnchenleber... Tolles Personal... Alle superfreundlich...

Schönes kleines Lokal mit sehr netten Personal.

Wir haben bei schönem Wetter im Hof draußen gesessen. Das Angebot an Getränken stand auf einer Karte auf dem Tisch, das Essen auf einer Tafel im Lokal. Das war sehr unübersichtlich. Es gab auch auf Nachfrage keine veganen Gerichte, ich habe mich auf einen kleinen Salat ohne Dressing und Süsskartoffelpommes beschränken müssen. Meine Begleiter hatten verschiedene Gerichte und sie waren mit der Qualität zufrieden.

Fantastische Lokation. Super leckers Essen. Vor allem das Würzfleisch ist ein Traum. Mega Getränkeauswahl. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Danke für den schönen Abend.

Sehr schöner Pub. Der Aussenbereich ist sehr schön. Preise sind moderat, also sehr angenehm und das Personal überaus freundlich. Gerne wieder, falls ich es wiederfinde 😂

Wir wohnen seit 6 Jahren in Plagwitz und wurden über Freunde auf den Freisitz und den Pub aufmerksam. Wunderschön! Wie konnten wir so lange an diesem schönen, netten Biergarten/Restaurant/Pub vorbeileben? Unfassbar netter Service auch für unseren Hund, frische leckere Speisen und tolle Hauslimos.

Mega coole Location, einfach zum abschalten und den Abend genießen

Wir kommen regelmäßig ins Joseph Pub, um Fußball zu schauen, und sind jedes Mal sehr zufrieden. Selbst wenn wir nur etwa eine halbe Stunde vorher anrufen, bekommen wir eigentlich immer noch einen Platz – das ist echt top organisiert. Der Service ist super freundlich und aufmerksam, das Essen und die Getränke sind lecker, und die Stimmung beim Fußballschauen macht einfach Spaß. Ein kleiner Wunsch wäre, die Lautstärke der Übertragung manchmal etwas besser anzupassen, aber das ist wirklich nur ein Detail. Insgesamt ein richtig guter Spot für Fußballabende – wir kommen immer gerne wieder!

Gemüdliche Atmosphäre. Immer freundliche Bedienung.

Diese Lokalität empfehle ich uneingeschränkt weiter und komme auch gerne wieder. Das Essen ist lecker (die Auswahl ist wirklich groß) und das Personal ist überaus freundlich, auch das Ambiente ist wirklich toll (eben typisch für ein Pub). Die Bierauswahl vom Fass ist ebenfalls echt groß und die Preise sind fair.

Man fühlt sich sehr wohl, wird auch bei vollem haus sehr schnell bedient von freundlichem Personal!

Für mich der beste Burger der Stadt und die beste Bierauswahl. Dazu echt angenehme Sportsbar mit angenehmen Publikum.

Die Menge an Quark die man beim Burger zu den Kartoffelecken dazu bekommt sagt viel über die Gier des Chefs hier aus. Ca. 50% der Ecken kann man damit dippen. Dann ist die Miniportion alle. Nachbestellen möchte ich hier nicht, denn ich habe ja eine komplett essbare Portion bereits bestellt und bezahlt. Wenn das Patti nur halb so groß ist wie das Brötchen des Burgers ordere ich ja auch kein extra Fleisch. Das Problem ist bekannt aber die Geschäftsführung bekommt wohl den Hals nicht voll genug während der Hals der Kunden trocken bleiben soll. Schade ☹️

Ich liebe diesen Ort...mit seinen schönen Lampen am Dresen, den alten Fotos...den Schnitzereien..dem besonderen Nachttopf.... 😄Alles war ,reinkommt' ...darf auch wieder , raus ' Und das Essen und Trinken ist sowieso KLASSE

War ein freundliches Lokal, mit sehr guter Auswahl an Whiskys und sonstigen Getränken. Sehr zu empfehlen wenn man freund von irischen und schottischen Getränken ist.

Ein Pub ist ein Pub. Dieses hier kann das besonders gut. Es passt in das Stadtviertel, als wäre es schon immer dort gewesen. Und so verwundert es nicht, daß man gern dort einkehrt und allen begegnet: alt und jung, hipp und hopp, Arbeiter und Künstler. Vor allem aber erfährt man Freundlichkeit und bis sehr spät in der Nacht warmes Essen und kühles Bier.

Super lecker, nette und schnelle Bedienung und gemütlich. Wir kommen wieder!

Einfach nur toll - tolles Essen, sehr nette Bedienung und super Ambiente. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Uriges Pub, immer gut besucht. Einziges Problem die Parkplätze... Keine vorhanden alles Anwohner. Ewiges rum fahren.

Wir waren zu zweit dort Abendessen und waren sehr zufrieden. Es gab eine sehr große Getränkekarte und eine mit Handbeschriebene Tafel mit den Speisen, aufgrund das, dass Menü häufig wechselt. Trotzdem völlig ausreichend. Besonders gut fanden wir das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis.

A super cozy, tastefully decorated, and authentic pub. Here, the feel-good factor and guest satisfaction are still our top priority. The Joseph Pub offers a wide selection of international beers and spirits, various house sodas, and perfectly paired dishes. Every server is always very friendly, attentive, and totally on the ball. Considering the overall package and the value for money, this one can't be beaten. Everything here is still within a humane framework and is absolutely fair. For us, this is the best pub for miles around, and even top-notch on a human level. 👍❤️❤️❤️

Very good place to watch sports together.

A now legendary, beautiful Irish pub in the heart of Plagwitz/Lindenau. Unfortunately, the food selection is limited (fries with ketchup) and no animal protein is served.

Served the wrong drink twice. We were a group of 17 people split between two tables, and one table finished eating before we had even ordered. We had to wait over two hours with growling stomachs for our food; people who came after us got their food faster than us! After pointing out that we'd been waiting a long time, the manager's words were, "You'll just have to keep waiting." Absolutely unacceptable. My Wiener Schnitzel was very tough and tasted like rubber. The fries were good, but nothing special! The waitress was nice, but unfortunately, that didn't change the fact that we had to wait a long time. Not again! Very disappointing!

Great pub! We always go there to play Doppelkopf and have a great time. The Kaiserschmarrn (smothered pancakes) is highly recommended!

I find it an absolute cheek that despite our table reservation we still had to wait 2.5 hours until we got our food

Despite having reserved a table weeks in advance, we had to wait more than two hours for our food. The manager didn't care and told us "we'll have to wait." The wrong drinks were served. The staff was nice.

I've been a regular customer for years, and the food has never been bad. Great food, great service, very friendly and cheerful staff, and dogs are welcome.

We've been to this pub several times for a football match. It's just so cozy, and the service is fantastic. They even help when you're undecided about what to eat. The food is simply delicious, and we'll definitely go back. Keep up the good work. We'll visit you again.

An old grocery store converted into a pub. With outdoor seating and restaurant areas. The larger room was a bit noisy. Nothing else negatively noticed. Anyone looking to meet up with friends should go there.

This was my second time here, a rather spontaneous decision, with a reservation made a day in advance. And this time, we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. The prices are also reasonable. The portion sizes were also very good. The outdoor seating area was open again this time; last time it was closed because the building in the courtyard was being renovated. It's a bit noisy from Karl-Heine-Straße, but you could still have a good conversation. It definitely won't be the last time we're here.

We received a friendly welcome, and dogs are welcome too. Our drinks were then served promptly. There isn't a menu per se, but as soon as you walk in, there's a huge sign with the dishes on offer. It's helpful to take a photo of the menu. The food was delicious and the quality was very, very good. The friendly waiters came over every now and then to ask if everything was OK. When we ordered a latte, we were informed that it contained milk – which is great if you're lactose intolerant. The atmosphere is very nice. I can only recommend it. I'd go back anytime.

We went to the Joseph Pub for the first time last night. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our place. After ordering drinks we were a bit confused that there was no menu. When we asked, we were directed to the central menu at the entrance. At this point we would have liked to have been informed at reception that the card was right next to the cash register. :-) Also because there were a few complications with the order afterwards, but the staff managed it very well and asked again. The food was a 5/5! We have never eaten such a good schnitzel (au four and original Wiener). The meat was really soft as butter, the salad was crispy, fresh and the portions were large enough. The ambience and the sanitary facilities are very clean and well maintained. It won't be our last visit!

Very nice pub with great house beer and delicious burgers. I had the Joseph-Helles and a BBQ burger with fries - everything was super quick, hot, tasty and served with a smile. Perfect, the way you like it! 👍🏻 Plus a regularly changing menu and (if you don't come too late) there's a reasonably good chance of finding a parking space on Heine-Straße. Conclusion: Absolutely recommendable pub, delicious beer, very good food, fair prices (2x burgers with fries, 3 Guinness and 3 house beers for just under 50 euros.. 👍🏻) and a super nice team! We'd love to come back! 👍🏻👌🏻👍🏻

We were looking for a bit of Irish food on St. Patrick's Day and this place had the atmosphere and one dish that met the need, Irish Stew. It was, delicious, not too salty and we shared a single serving, enjoying a second serving the next night. Service was wonderful while we awaited our take out.

Nice pub, we wouldn't have had a seat without a reservation, Sky Sport Bar with broadcasts of the Bundesliga games on several large TVs and a screen, great atmosphere, very good food, great selection of drinks, very friendly and attentive service, who asked several times if there was anything else they wanted becomes.

Delicious food and good beer. The prices are okay. Sometimes loud, especially when football is on.

We ate an "au for" schnitzel... Very nice portion (not too big and certainly not too small) and it was very good! Service top, very nice, helpful and not exaggerated! This is really worth a visit! Despite the renovation, they have tried to make things good for everyone! Really great, we have seen quite a bit and been to different places, but this is a gem so really worth a visit!!

Nice staff and delicious Joseph Burger!

It wasn't easy to find fine beers with burgers and goulash in the local area on Sunday evening, but it worked out great here. Ideally, take a photo of the current menu in the pub when you are sitting in the garage entrance. Regular customers welcomed us warmly at the table, and the Kaiserschmarrn was also a success for us Viennese - thank you very much for the creative redesign a la hot love; ))

After being a regular in other pubs in and around the center for years, and the quality of the food and the general P/L ratio simply weren't right anymore, I'm happy to be able to regularly spend my mountain festivals at Joseph's. You'll get more than full for your money, the selection of drinks is large and if you're in the mood for cocktails, you'll get your money's worth here too. The wait staff is always friendly, the waiting time is average, you can't complain about that.

Cozy pub with a great beer selection and really delicious soul food. The menu offers many dishes, all prepared with love. You can sit with a beer in a rustic atmosphere and enjoy delicious pub food. Very nice staff. This is exactly how you imagine a pub around the corner. ;)
