Nice pub with a nice atmosphere!

1 star deducted for the service because the service staff unfortunately couldn't speak English and I am of the opinion that in a pub where international guests often come, waiters should be able to speak English well. But otherwise I really like this pub.

Very fast nice service. In the middle of the city. Very narrow street.

Stylistically impeccable pub on 2 floors, very friendly and efficient service. 1 star less because, on a public holiday (unity of Germany), they do not prepare Sauerbraten. It was advertised outside but without 'not on public holidays', and I had entered the pub to eat that dish.

The burger was really great!!!! The coleslaw that came with the fries was also world-class! Totally recommended

On our bowling tour to Leipzig, this restaurant was our favorite after the first evening! The waitress was always in a great mood and always brought us the drinks we ordered in a friendly and quick manner. We were here three times over a total of four days and felt very comfortable every time from start to finish. If I'm in Leipzig again I'll definitely stop here again. Full marks for the ambience too. Really quaint, just like an Irish pub should be 😃😃😃

This is the place where I tasted the best ribs in Leipzig. The meat is easily separated from the bone, juicy and not burnt. The Irish beer selection is good, the atmosphere is like an Irish pub, so don't expect every new customer to be more important than the ones already there. Understand that for the first order you will have to wait, or draw attention to yourself, or order constantly. Great place, too bad they don't have Orchard Thieves cider

Great pub in the center, great atmosphere, the service is very friendly, the beer price is already at the upper limit for me but unfortunately normal in this location. I didn't eat anything so I can't comment on the food.

We didn't eat, but we waited 20 minutes for the waitress to take our drinks and waited forever for her to come out with the EC device to pay. Of course it's full on Saturday evening, but it took too long for us.

We ate burgers. These were very tasty. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere is really good. A typical Irish pub. We enjoyed visiting and felt welcome.

I've been going to the store for ages. And of course, it's a "tourist trap" if you look at the prices. But you are compensated by good food and friendly service. You can't go wrong with a visit.

On a wet and dismal night in Leipzig - we didn’t make any reservations so were left walking the streets to find somewhere with space. We sat outside on the street initially under the umbrellas and heaters but it was very busy. When space came free we moved indoors. The menu was a mix of EU and Irish. The Irish Stew was brilliant - with option of a smaller portion - which my wife took and was just right for her. Best Irish Stew this side of Dublin I had the pork medallions with mushrooms. Cooked to perfection. Our waitress was friendly and patient - she also spoke very good English -(Note to self - Learn another Language) Would I recommend The Kildare ?? Is Guiness brewed in Dublin???

This pub is in the middle of various restaurants. It is lovingly decorated as a pub with a great location. There is a good selection of beers which are slightly more expensive than normal. Especially since there are only 0.4 beers. Since we sat outside in the evening it was very busy. The service was very friendly and attentive. It was often requested and replenished. Contrary to most opinion, I wasn't that impressed with the food. It tasted good but not that great. Since there were Bavarian weeks, I tried the grilled knuckle. This was served with a dumpling and sauerkraut. Unfortunately, the knuckle wasn't crispy because the sauce softened the crust and the dumpling was dry. The sauerkraut was more like coleslaw. If only I had stuck to the burger recommendation. I wouldn't order again. Ambience also typical of a pub. Great for a nice evening with friends. I'd love to come back too

A very nice pub that is actually very close to the originals from Ireland. The beer is quite expensive in 0.4 glasses for the 0.5 price, otherwise the food is very tasty and reasonably priced. We were able to sit outside in the summer, which I really enjoyed.

I really enjoyed Pork & Mushrooms. Otherwise, very, very attentive & fast service and delicious beer. Whiskey selection at acceptable prices. Gladly again.

Nice pub with a nice team. Fish and chips were good. There's Newcastle Brown Ale here - for me it's one of the best English beers 🍺 Tip: Sitting behind the pub is quieter outside than at the front.

The place is exactly what I imagine a classic Irish pub to be. A beautiful facility that invites you to feel good! The service was very courteous and the service was quick :) Unfortunately, the food didn't blow us away in terms of taste or portion size. The price-performance ratio was simply not right. But we would come back for a drink at any time!

The Irish pub is just great. The waiters and waitresses are also very good. And you walk around a lot so you can order something at any time. The prices are also mega clear. And the cocktails and the beer (Guinness) tasted really good. The food there was also simply delicious, unfortunately the portions were a bit small but otherwise everything was great.

Nice pub where we were given some Guinness and other drinks by friendly service after midnight to shorten the time until the train left 👍 I'm sure it wasn't the last time there 😉

Die Biersorte meiner Wahl (von der Karte) war leider gerade nicht verfügbar aber ansonsten hat es uns gut gefallen, tolles Flair, super Personal, nett zum Verweilen! Gern wieder!

Very cool shop with a great atmosphere. For the 5 hour period I would like the smoking area to also be converted into a non-smoking area, unfortunately we have often had space problems and if you don't want to sit in the smoke you have to go somewhere else (the smoking area is usually not that full) . But otherwise a really great pub, with very pleasant staff.

In the middle of all the restaurants in the center is this pup with 13 types of beer on tap, simply great. Fast service, friendly at reasonable prices. Good food, delicious wine. Next time you visit Leipzig, I'll be happy to do it again.

I can't judge the food, I only had liquid food, otherwise everything was okay and it was a great party, 90s parties can happen more often

Great ambience and friendly service

Had dinner here on Sunday The waiter just cursed when he brought me the wrong food after more than an hour. When I paid I had to listen to who was paying for the wrong food and why I didn't want a new one. This ended in insults again. No recommendation if the service is so subpar 👎

The bartender spilled the whole pitcher of Guinness on me (who serves Guinness in pitchers???). I didn't receive any apologies nor a complimentary drink.

We were there with 8 people for the Euro League final...delicious beer, good food and very friendly service...reservation also worked great...highly recommended.

Cozy pub with sports TV, old rock music (Nirvana, Queen, Stones, etc) and good food. The drinks menu is extensive and offers something for everyone, and there is no skimping on food options either. The fried eggs with bacon are highly recommended. The service staff are incredibly friendly, despite the high volume of visitors, they constantly ask about your well-being, clear up quickly and always remain patient.

The store is a kind of comfort zone. When you talk to the waitress you always feel like you are talking to a friend. Ordered food arrives very quickly and tastes great. Been back for years.

I drank 1 beer and was told it wasn't possible for me to get a receipt... I'm in the restaurant business myself... The tax office is happy to receive such feedback....

The Kildare is one of the best pubs in the city and is very centrally located. The atmosphere is very rustic and even on a Monday the service was very quick and friendly. The fish and chips weren't enough for my hunger, but a beer ice cream made up for it.

Im Rahmen einer geschäftlichen Besprechung waren wir zu 5 dabei, einen weiteren Stuhl in dem ohnehin leeren Restaurant an unseren Tisch zu stellen. Direkt wurden wir von einer sehr unfreundlichen Bedienung mit blauem Haar hysterisch darauf hingewiesen, um Erlaubnis zu fragen , den Stuhl für uns nutzen zu dürfen. Auf eine Entschuldigung und Erklärung, dass wir zu 5. sind, wurde nicht eingegangen. Die Bedienung verdrehte ihre Augen und verschwand. So haben wir entschieden, unseren Abend direkt im Restaurant gegenüber zu verbringen. Dort war die Atmosphäre freundlich und das Essen war gut.

Great pub. Classic pub food with lots of different whiskeys and beers. Shows football in the week when there are games...

This was absolutely the most delicious Chrispy Chicken Burger I had ever tasted! Can only recommend him! So far, I've never had a better one!

Best Irish Pub in Leipzig. Attentive and friendly staff.

We were there on March 6th. Spontaneously eat dinner.... the waitress (Jaqueline) > we asked her the name, was very friendly and we were able to laugh together... the food is very tasty, and the drink refill came very quickly... I definitely recommend this pub and we'll definitely be back...the prices are completely reasonable and everyone who works there deserves a star.

I would love to come back. Great atmosphere, when all the tables are occupied it can get a bit noisy, but the great service makes up for it.

The drinks and the service were really good. Unfortunately, the live music was really bad. The songs did not fit the saint Patrick's day at all and weren't very party-like... We did not like the music at all.

The beers on tap I tried tasted a bit bland, low on carbonation and not cold enough. Nice place otherwise.

About the burger: Rose rolls from the penny: 0.39 cents Frozen chicken burgers from the wholesale market: 6 pieces = 4.99 €uro a total of 0.8 cents Tomato 1 slice on it = 0.2 cents Some salad = 0.2 cents The total cost for the burger may be €2 The taste is rather below average. It tasted like a refrigerated counter burger from an Aral gas station. So there was really nothing. Like a spam email from a Nigerian prince promising me 100,000 euros.

We had just beer which was good - you can choose from german, irish, england, spanish or australian beer on tap. Better have reservation cause there are lots of people comming in late afternoon.

Very nice bar/restaurant. Excellent food, here you can also get homemade fries for the small thaler. Drinks taste good, fruity cocktails. A clear recommendation, including the opportunity to watch football. Smoking is also allowed. Everything here seems to be the same as it used to be

Super great bar, Our waiter was very friendly and made a few jokes with us, which made us feel very welcome. The food was also very tasty and the drinks were perfect. We were always served very quickly and were asked how we were at comfortable intervals. We were here for the second time, although not specifically, but the atmosphere simply invites you to stay. Zu teuer und das Essen war heute absolut nicht ok. Waren Stammgäste aber jetzt habe ich keine Lust mehr. Ist einfach wahnsinnig teuer geworden und 5€ für paar matschige Pommes mit nem Löffelchen Krautsalat ist einfach nur noch übertrieben. Man würde es ja gerne bezahlen, wenn das Essen gut ist aber heute war mein Burger total roh. Wurde immer schlimmer und in der Mitte war er dann schon pink. Auf rohes Hackfleisch verzichte ich dankend und habe den Burger zurückgehen lassen. Hat mich dann einfach geekelt. Mussten ihn am Ende nicht bezahlen aber erst nach ewigen Diskussionen. Angeblich wollen ihn die meisten der Pubbesucher blutig und er wäre immer so. Außerdem hätte ich ja schon etwas davon gegessen und wenn dann läge es sowieso an meiner Kommunikation, schließlich hätte ich vor der Bestellung sagen müssen, dass ich meinen Burger durch will. Dann wurde mir noch angeboten den Burger nochmal nachzubraten aber man geht ja nicht zu zweit essen, um dann einzeln zu essen und nochmal zu warten. Und man will doch für solche Umstände auch nicht 45€ bezahlen.🤦‍♀️ Ich habe in den 10 Jahren vorher dort genau einmal einen rohen Burger bekommen und zurückgehen lassen (damals zugegebenermaßen ein Versehen). Die anderen 50 Mal, die wir schon dort waren, war er nie roh. Auch in anderen Restaurants habe ich noch NIE einen rohen Burger bekommen und in der Karte stand auch nichts von blutig, medium oder durch. Sorry aber wenn man solche Ausreden zu hören bekommt und dann noch diskutieren muss, hat man keine Lust mehr wiederzukommen. Bei den Monsterpreisen müssen Essen und Service einfach gut sein, sonst vergrault man sich die Stammgäste. Heute waren weder Pommes noch Burger ordentlich durch.

Der Burger, einfach lecker, Bedienung locker und lustig. War einfach geil.

Wir hatten einen echt schönen Abend im Pub. Wir saßen zu Beginn des Abends draußen und sind nach dem Essen rein gegangen. Dort ist es sehr gemütlich und urig. Der Kellner war sehr cool drauf. War nicht aufdringlich und hatte ein gutes Auge, wann er an den Tisch kommen sollte. Wir hatten am Abend den Kildare Special Burger mit Rind und weil es so mega gut war, sind wir gleich am nächsten Mittag wieder hin und haben dort erneut gegessen: den gleichen Burger mit Chicken. Der war soooo unglaublich gut!!! Echt zu empfehlen!

Total uriger Pub mit rustikaler Einrichtung...Essen portionsmäßig ok und sehr lecker.....Bier-/Whiskypreise auf den ersten Blick hoch, aber man bekommt echt was geboten für sein Geld.....Service super freundlich.....und der einzige Ort wo ich in Leipzig jemand sächseln hörte (-: ......sehr sympathisch.... !!! (-: ..... kommen wir bei keinem Leipzigbesuch dran vorbei
