Morrison's in Leipzig

Leider muss ich sagen das dieser Pub zu dem Zeitpunkt überhaupt kein schönes Flair mehr hatte. Wir waren ca 23 Uhr dort und es lief Mainstream Radio. Die Kellnerin war maximal gestresst obwohl nicht viel los war. Das Ambiente war alles andere als Irisch. Von meiner Seite leider leine Empfehlung.

Wir wurden von der Bedingung bei der Lieferung der Getränke mit Bierdeckeln beworfen.

Schon lange kein Geheimtipp mehr. Immer gut, lecker Guiness 1,5l Pitcher oder Cider (mein Favorit). Essen ist auch in Ordnung, aber das Bier ist im Pub wichtiger. Ein schönes PaleAle vermiss ich noch, sonst Spitze.

Irish Pub mit mit tollem Flair und einer riesigen Whisk(e)yauswahl

Ich war hier abends unter der Woche um etwas zu essen. Das Pub ist schön eingerichtet, die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Das bestellte Essen (Knoblauch Brot und Ofenkartoffel) waren sehr gut. Die Auswahl der Whiskys kann ich aber nicht beurteilen, vielleicht bei einem erneuten Besuch.

An der Freundlichkeit kann man noch arbeiten...

Klasse Irisch Pup...nette Chefin

An einem sehr heißen Dienstagabend im Mai gingen wir mit der Familie auf ein oder zwei Guinness in die Bar. Als wir ankamen, standen drei Personen hinter der Bar, dann nur noch zwei, und eine Bedienung war auch dabei. Eine junge Frau wurde zur Unterstützung hinzugezogen, die dies widerwillig tat und sehr kurz angebunden zu allen Gästen war. Der verbliebene Mann kümmerte sich ausschließlich um das Einsammeln und Reinigen der Gläser. Wir bestellten Erdnüsse zu unseren Getränken und uns wurde gesagt: „Wir bringen sie Ihnen an den Tisch.“ Sie kamen nie an. Die Bar war gut besucht, da es der Vorabend eines Fußballfinales war. Es war auch sehr warm, aber die Belüftung war sehr schlecht. Das einzig Positive war, dass das Guinness gut war, wenn auch langsam.

Tolles Pub. Exzellenter Service. Gute Getränkeauswahl. Schöne, authentische Atmosphäre. Absolut empfehlenswert. Die Ofenkartoffel ist köstlich.

Für Freunde der irischen Kneipenkultur ein guter Laden, haben uns hier sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt - besonders auch heute

Am 1. Mai Nachmittags hinein…wir wären gerne länger geblieben…😆…waren aber vom Sightseeing total kaputt. Der Service war super nett…Grüße an die Dame mit den Schwert-Ohrringen (oder waren es Zweihänder? 🤔) …und Guiness sowie Tequila Sunrise waren perfekt! 👍

Der gemeinste Kellner aller Zeiten.

Die unhöflichste Kellnerin, die mir je begegnet ist. Sie zog ihre Weste und den Lidstrich an und dachte wohl, sie würde Leben retten. Mädel, du arbeitest in einer Bar, sei doch mal etwas gelassener und entspann dich. Jemand sollte ihr mal sagen, dass sie ihre schnippische Art draußen lassen soll. Kommt hierher, wenn ihr von den Angestellten schlecht behandelt werden wollt… Ich würde nicht sagen, dass wir unhöflich oder unerträglich lästig waren.

Meine erste Erfahrung mit einem Irish Pub, die zu einem Erlebnis geworden ist, was ich niemals vergessen werde Super nette tolle Menschen, mit dem man sich super und einfach unterhalten kann Ich und meine Arbeitskollegen waren beruflich in Leipzig und haben hier unseren Abend richtig gut ausklinken lassen können Definitiv ein Besuch wert und besser und authentischer als jede Cocktailbar Schöne Grüße

Wir sind hier an meinem JGA eingekehrt. Patrick hat uns unten im Keller empfangen & uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt den wir hatten. Einfach ein 10 von 10 Aufenthalt.

Ein sehr gemütliches Lokal, sehr aufmerksames Personal, zivile Preise. Über das Essen kann ich nicht viel sagen, ich hatte leckeres Knoblauchbrot. Das war heiss, knusprig, lecker und preiswert. Wir waren drei Mal dort, und nach dem ersten Besuch schon fast Familie.

Das Morrison´s ist das Wohnzimmer 2.0 - familiäre Atmosphäre, gemütliches Ambiente, aufmerksames Personal dass immer für einen Scherz aufgelegt ist und man ist sofort drin im Flair :-) Die Live-Musik hat uns super gefallen und wenn wir wieder in Leipzig sind sehen wir uns definitiv wieder :-) vielen Dank!

Hervorragendes Essen und erstklassiger Service. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und erklärte die Speisekarte ausführlich.

Sehr guter Pub in der Leipziger Innenstadt. Große Whisky/Whiskey Auswahl. Nettes Personal. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Furchtbarer Laden. Wir wurden beim Betreten des Lokals nicht begrüßt und warteten etwa 30 Minuten, während uns der Kellner provokant ansah und uns nicht bediente. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Bieren. Die Speisenauswahl ist zwar nicht groß, aber es ist ein angenehmer Ort, der einen Besuch wert ist.

Endlich ganz normale Leute 😁 super Essen und gutes Bier. Immer ein Besuch wert.

Das Ambiente, Essen und Getränke waren topp, auch die Preise waren fair. Jedoch war der Kellner mies drauf und gestresst. Die Ignoranz und daraus folgende Wartezeit wurde durch ein Umzug in ein anderes Lokal beendet. Schade, sonst wirklich ein schönes Pub.

Nennt sich selbst irisch, serviert aber einen „Irish Car Bomb“ und einen „Black and Tan“.

Waren letztens da und es war leider sehr überfüllt. Trotz Reservierung hat man kaum das Wort von Sitznachbarn verstanden. Die Preise waren extrem hoch. Hatten im Schnitt so 4 bis 6 Getränke pro Kopf und lagen zwischen 50 bis 70 Euro pro Person. Essen ging leider nur im Erdgeschoß und da wir im Keller untergebracht wurden nur Erdnüsse und Chips.

Freundliche und angenehme Atmosphäre, aber keine Sportsbar. Hier werden keine Sportübertragungen gezeigt.

Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und kümmern sich rührend um einen. Sie helfen mir sogar mit meinem Deutsch. Sie sind geduldig und sorgen dafür, dass man gut aufgehoben ist. Auch mit den Hunden herrscht dort eine familiäre Atmosphäre.

Very unfriendly service on a Saturday evening at 10 pm. Unmotivated and very ignorant. I cannot recommend it.

A really nice pub, the people are super friendly and the drinks are great. A big plus for the two pugs that roam around.

We were only here for a beer, but we received a very friendly welcome and a good explanation of the different beers. We felt very comfortable. Thank you for that.

Two staff members were present, one friendly and the younger one unfriendly. There was no more food. Only chips. The atmosphere saved it.

A classic Irish pub where everything superfluous has been consistently omitted; the focus here is on coziness – and that's a good thing! Admittedly, the food menu is very concise and focuses on the essentials, but this is executed perfectly, and the fish and chips, simple as they are, exceeded all expectations. The service is very friendly, the atmosphere is just right, and the prices are absolutely reasonable, especially considering the pub's proximity to St. Nicholas Church. Fantastic!

I was just about to have a drink here with my colleagues from Hanover; we're course participants. I had to wait outside for the others, so I sat down to smoke. I didn't even manage half a cigarette before the owner chased me away!?!? It just goes to show how quickly people form prejudices against others these days. So embarrassing!!!

Great pub – I come here almost every time I visit Leipzig. Lovely atmosphere – two dogs (very well-behaved and always relaxed) roam around; it's quite calming. The food is very good – you'll find the usual Irish pub fare like Irish stew and fish and chips; the daily food specials are fantastic. In short, highly recommended.

A great place to spend a relaxing evening. You can indulge in all the delicious Irish, Scottish, and English specialties. The menu is also excellent and fits the ambiance...super friendly staff, you walk in and feel at home...a really good recommendation.

Chic bar with a great drinks menu and a very friendly and attentive server. We visited the bar for a last drink of the evening around 11 p.m. and received a very warm welcome. The drinks were delicious and the prices unbeatable 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

We were a large group of 12 people. Unfortunately, we were still very rarely served. You regularly didn't have any drinks for a long time, which is rather suboptimal for a bar

Cool pub, there was live music in the basement, it was really well attended... Unfortunately, stars are deducted, the service was friendly, but was overloaded with the number of guests, sometimes it took up to an hour to order drinks until they were on the table. Luckily we didn't order any food 😀 Otherwise chic location.

Very cozy restaurant in the middle of the center, with pleasant staff. Good wines are served here on two floors, with the focus being on the extensive whiskey menu.

On Saturdays more than 3 hours before closing time: kitchen is closed, coffee for Irish coffee is not possible. The waitress tries very friendly to save it.... But well... Two hits at once, which is offered on the menu, but is not possible at the moment. I guess I have to go somewhere else...

I don't know... I went through the reviews during my visit but I can't really understand the 5 stars. This is how I treat food... I eat everything I order. B I want to give every dish the chance to convince me until the end. Unless something was inedible, of course. The baguette with bacon and Camembert is really a joke! This is so terrible in its manner and preparation that it cannot be put into words. Taste surprisingly OK! But not restaurant quality. Fish & Chips. Hmmmm.... Well, the fish was probably breaded itself. But below the breading was bone dry and hard! The fish was rather dry. Fries, well... Usual frozen goods (but everyone has that). Crepes....One was hot, one was cold. Intention? Rather a bit rubbery, much too big fruit from the glass. Service was great. Attentive, friendly. But the store doesn't really have any charm...

Been here a few times and always enjoy going to Morrisons. Delicious beer and surprisingly good food! The employees are consistently friendly and helpful. My special highlight are the pub dogs!

The waiter is totally unfriendly and doesn't even let you look through the menu in peace and decide.

Good Irish beer, an attractive selection of schnapps and the long drink was well mixed. The food was OK but nothing special. The service was charismatic and their attentive nature ensured that I was always served on time.

The pub is very nicely decorated. We immediately felt like we were in the original from GB or Ireland. Plus everything is very clean. There is a wide selection of whiskeys at the bar and the menu is also very appealing and not just standard. We can't judge food because we only drank. But there were various dishes to choose from. Our beer and whiskey were great, the whiskey came in matching glasses and, even though it wasn't an ordinary one, the price was more than fair. We found the visit very successful and would have liked to have stayed longer.

Pub in the city center. Attentive service, cozy. However, value for money is not that great. 21 EUR for a not so large portion of sauerbraten, which tastes rather mediocre, quite steep.

Very cozy pub, very friendly staff and a large selection of alcoholic drinks such as beers, whiskey, wine etc. There should be something for everyone. Were here for the first time today and I would recommend it. Update were here again yesterday (April 20, 2024) and were not disappointed again, everything was perfect. This time I had a Strindberg rump steak that was a real culinary delight! The waitress asked me how I would like the steak!? I prefer medium and what can I say just perfect, tender and juicy on the inside. The spicy marinade gave the meat a wonderful explosion of flavor. There were also crispy fries and a small fresh side salad, which rounded off the dish perfectly. An absolute treat for all steak lovers! I highly recommend it.
