Sehr unfreundlicher Service. Schade.

Super leckere Bürger, sehr nette Bedienung, schneller Service. Wir waren sehr begeistert. Das einzige, was mich persönlich stört ist der Raucherbereich. Sonst tolles Ambiente und ein sehr netter Pub, mit live Fußball.

Sehr gutes Essen und leckere Getränke, gemütliches Ambiente und ein aufmerksamer, freundlicher Service. Man fühlt sich hier sehr wohl. Lediglich im überdachten Biergarten könnte ein Deckenventilator für etwas mehr Komfort an heißen Tagen sorgen. Trotzdem absolut empfehlenswert!

​Wir waren spontan zu zweit hier und haben ohne Reservierung sofort einen Tisch bekommen. Der Service ist wirklich klasse – super freundlich und man merkt einfach, dass ihnen das Wohl der Gäste am Herzen liegt. ​Wir hatten beide einen Burger, die wirklich sehr gut waren. Auch die Wartezeit aufs Essen war absolut im Rahmen. ​Mein Highlight: das Bier auf Leitung 15 wechselt regelmäßig die Biersorte, sodass es immer was Neues zu entdecken gibt. Die Whiskyauswahl ist auch riesig. Für die Raucher gibt es einen extra Bereich, der ordentlich vom Nichtraucherbereich getrennt ist. Es ​war nicht mein erster Besuch und ich komme ganz sicher wieder! Absolut Daumen hoch.

Immer einen Ausreißer wert. Tolles Personal und tolles Essen. Perfekter Irish Pub zum Seele baumeln lassen gemeinsam mit Freunden.

Sehr charakteristisch. Für uns Italiener ist das angesichts der Möglichkeit, am Tisch zu rauchen, sicherlich seltsam.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen da, haben direkt ohne Reservierung einen Platz bekommen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das essen war soweit ganz lecker, hierbei muss man aber einen Stern abziehen, da das Schnitzel (s. Foto) extrem klein war und das Ei schon fast über dem Schnitzel komplett drüber lag. Bei dem Preis hätte man doch ein größeres Schnitzel erwartet. Beim Trinken hätte ruhig noch etwas mehr Kohlensäure drin sein können, hat mehr wie Wasser geschmeckt. Das Ambiente war bis auf die Toiletten in Ordnung. Die Toiletten sind schrecklich, komplett verschmiert mit Stiften und Graffiti.. selbst auf der Klobrille. Aber da muss man wahrscheinlich den Ort berücksichtigen, manchen wird es wohl gefallen.

Wir waren hier um einen schönen Feierabend zu genießen. Leider war die Bedienung überfordert und konnte vier Leute nicht gleichzeitig nach Getränken fragen. Ziemlich schlecht, für eine Großstadtkneipe.Unfreundlich dazu.

Die Stimmung und das ganze Ambiente sind sehr urig und die Getränkeauswahl ist super!! Leider hatten wir eine unfreundliche, passiv aggressive Service-Kraft, die unter keinen Umständen bereit war, mit uns (Gruppe von 8 Personen) zu kooperieren: Uns wurde untersagt, Stühle von einem fremden Tisch an unseren heranzustellen, mit der Begründung, dass es zu voll sei, obwohl alle Plätze neben uns leer waren. Außerdem wurde generell auf alle Nachfragen unsererseits schnippisch, genervt oder ungeduldig geantwortet. Sehr schade!

Hey ich bin ehrlich enttäuscht vom Laden und Service. Hier meine Geschichte: - Musik war zu laut es wurde gebeten diese ein wenig runterzustellen, wäre nicht möglich. - der Service war zwar schnell und oft da, aber so oft, dass es unangenehm wurde. Ich hatte selbst kein Geld und ließ mich von einer Freundin auf eine Limo einladen. Kurz bevor ich gehen wollte wurde ich darauf verwiesen dass ich etwas zu trinken bestellen müsste um zu bleiben. Es wurde sogar diskutiert und aufs Hausrecht verwiesen ( man muss dazu sagen, dass ich in einer Gruppe war.die die ganze Zeit fleißig geordert hat.¿!! UNANGENEHMes Ende (schade!) und armenschaming und systemunterstützer pfui, kein leipzig, kein echt .Außerdem wurde vom Service gemeint dass sich meine Freundinnen (nach jeweils einem eigenen getränk) nicht ein großes Bier teilen dürften. UNANGENEHM. Bitte ma die Mitarbeiter mit bissl liebe und Respekt füttern . Danke..

Ich war zum ersten Mal hier und war begeistert! Tolle Atmosphäre, freundliches Personal, leckeres Essen zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Ich komme auf jeden Fall bald wieder.

Ich war gestern mit meinem Kumpel dort zum ersten Mal und es hat uns sehr gefallen. Die doch schon sehr urische Einrichtung der Bar hat uns positiv überrascht. Die große Auswahl an verschieden Fassbieren und Whiskeys hat uns komplett überfordert. Die Auswahl über die Größe der Biere war für uns auch neu. Man kann auch Pitcher bestellen (1,5 L), was uns als Bierliebhaber sehr gefallen hat :). Die Kellner sind sehr sympathisch und für einen schnack immer zu haben, außerdem konnten sie uns gut über die verschiedenen Whiskey Sorten beraten. Der einzige Minuspunkt sind sie Toiletten, zwar sind die sauber aber dort ist alles voll mit Grafitti, zumindest bei den Herren. Aber das is meckern auf hohem Niveau. Alles in einem war es ein schöner und gelungener Abend. Wir kommen wieder 🙏

An sich ein sehr netter Pub vom Ambiente her aber: - ganz großes minus der Service: grundsätzlich waren sie sehr freundlich - wir waren zu 9. als JGA (auch als solcher bei der Reservierung vermerkt) dass dann am Ende des Tages mal jemand nen kleinen Powernap macht ist logisch, jedoch wurde sich daran massivst gestört. Ebenso wenn man beim Fußball gucken mal etwas lauter wurde und ein Fußball Lied oder so anstimmte (am Ende des Tages muss man sich dann fragen ob man einen auf Sterne Restaurant machen will oder ein klassischer Pub ist) - Essen: enorme Wartezeiten (chickenburger 1 1/2h) - überdies nichts berühmtes Standard Tiefkühl Zeugs Summa summarum boxt das Ambiente einen zweiten Stern raus mehr aber auch nicht

Ich bin noch nie so schlecht behandelt worden. Die Bedienung war extrem arrogant, unhöflich und verhielt sich während des gesamten Gesprächs eindeutig rassistisch. Ihre Art, mit uns zu sprechen, war von Anfang bis Ende respektlos. Als ich schließlich beschloss, kein Trinkgeld zu geben (was ja offensichtlich ist), sagte sie sogar: „Ich brauche kein Trinkgeld von Ihnen.“ Die ganze Situation war sehr unangenehm und für ein Lokal, das Gäste bedient, völlig inakzeptabel. Ich werde nie wieder dorthin gehen. Meine sechs Freunde, die mit mir da waren, übrigens auch nicht.

Bier 10/10, Whisky 10/10, Atmosphäre 10/10. Würzfleisch 12/10 (!) Sehr zu empfehlen!

Sehr leckere Burger!! Unten Raucherbereich, oben für Nichtraucher. Personal leider nicht sehr freundlich.

Leider nicht so die beste Erfahrung. Bin alleine dahingegangen, wurde mir (nicht so freundlich) gesagt dass ich als Einzelperson nur am Tresen essen darf, was nicht so angenehm war. Noch dazu wurde dann neben mir geraucht, was noch unangenehmer war. Wäre nie dahingegangen wenn ich davor gewusst hätte, dass geraucht werden darf. Allerdings waren manche Mitarbeiter sehr nett und der Burger hat geschmeckt.

Richtig gute urige Atmosphäre wie zu alten Zeiten 👍

Lecker Essen mit Superservice. Was ein bisschen störte, war, dass man oben als Nichtraucher im mit Glas abgetrenntem Bereich saß, aber durch den ständigen Betrieb von Kellnern, die durch diese Tür gingen, man trotzdem im Rauch saß.

Ich gehe seit mehr als 12 Jahren immer wieder gerne hierher. Allerdings würde vor einiger Zeit der kleine Beilagensalat von der Karte gestrichen, was meinem Lieblingsgericht - Kartoffelweges, Sourcream und Salat - seither einen gewaltigen Strich durch die Rechnung mach. 😭😭😭 Bitte nehmt ihn wieder auf die Karte! 🙏

Die beste Bar in der Gegend. Großartige Auswahl an Bieren und Whiskys.

Personal ist nett und aufmerksam. Preise etwas teurer, liegt wohl an der Lage. Leider weiterhin sehr negativ: Man kommt direkt beim betreten des Pubs in den Raucherbereichund muss auch auf dem Weg zur Toilette den Rauch einatmen. Meines Erachtens ist das auch gesetzlich untersagt?! Ein Grund nicht wieder zu kommen, außer ich muss mal wieder ein Hop House trinken...

Personal was unfreundliche und blöde Sprüche ließ nur weil 1 von 3 Personen nichts essen wollte. Es kamen Sprüche, wir würden uns ganz schön dick machen und wir würden anderen den Platz wegnehmen obwohl genug Platz da war.

Bin hier hauptsächlich für das Bier. Service ist top, wenn es mal voll ist, dauert es halt länger, aber alles im moderaten Bereich. Das Essen sieht gut aus, aber esse selten dort.😀

Es gibt einen Nichtraucher und Raucherbereich, und einen Bereich draußen der sich lohnt wenn es warm ist. Gute Auswahl an Getränke und Essen (Burger und Pi und Schnacks)

Ein super Ort, um sich einen zu genehmigen 🙃 Freitags ist es unglaublich voll, und einen Tisch zu finden ist fast unmöglich. Auch an Champions-League-Spieltagen ist es fast unmöglich, einen Platz zu ergattern, besonders wenn deutsche Vereine spielen. Im Untergeschoss gibt es Tischfußball und Darts. Witzigerweise kann man dort kostenlos spielen: Die Angestellten geben einem sogar die Münzen zurück, die man in den Automaten wirft, damit man gleich nochmal spielen kann. Die Bierauswahl ist riesig, inklusive leckerem Guinness. Und die Atmosphäre ist fantastisch. Wer sich betrinken will, ist hier genau richtig. Schade nur, dass sie so früh schließen.

Ein Freund und ich kommen ziemlich regelmäßig ins McCormacks und fühlen uns dort sehr wohl. Wahnsinnig nettes und vorallem aufmerksames Personal, das Essen schmeckt und die Atmosphäre ist warm. Danke!

"All day, every day" music in an Irish pub? And... in my experience and opinion, smokers take too many liberties during the outdoor season at pubs.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The whiskey menu was great to choose from and the prices were reasonable. The staff were friendly and even answered our questions about the whiskey. We sat outside; it was really good at McCormacks. Keep it up.

A truly cozy pub with quaint seating inside and out. Amazingly reasonable prices and very friendly staff. The variety of light meals is very good. Reservations are recommended. When football is on, it's broadcast (inside). Tip: Order a 4x0.15 beer sample, as Irish beers taste different from German beer.

First, eat delicious tapas at Pata Negra next door, then enjoy an Irish beer at McCormacks. Great atmosphere, quaint, friendly staff.

The waiters and bartenders are very polite ready to accommodate as you please. There you can find separate space for smoke and nonsmoker people. The snack are tasteful. One of the reason going back there is their ranch sauce, which I enjoy it at most.

If your group is too large, you won't be served. It's a shame. On our second visit, a slightly smaller group, the rating was changed.

Absolutely favorite pub in town! Every time we visit the city, we visit McCormacks and always order a good number of pitchers, McCormacks burgers, sides, and whiskeys! It's simply fun – on our last visit, we even got dice for playing chess and Yahtzee – AMAZING!!!

Top menu - also for vegetarians! And in the upper area you have peace and quiet from the sports program on TV and are protected from cigarette smoke! The drinks are also great and the friendly staff tops it all off! Definitely on my list of Karli hotspots!

Food and drinks are okay and definitely recommended. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the employees. The gentleman behind the counter was very unpleasant and arrogant in his communication. After we had to wait over 30 minutes for an order and payment and no one showed up even after repeated requests, we wanted to leave. Suddenly someone took care of us. It can always be stressful and that's understandable, but if you point it out several times and are laughed at and ignored from the first time, that's a disgrace. We were there for the last time today.

Classic Irish pub - we wanted to watch the Bundesliga in the evening. Many types of beer, fully booked! Quality speaks for itself! Smoking is allowed - you should know that beforehand! Service is incredibly hard-working, friendly and even when it's overcrowded they make sure that all problems can be solved!

My favorite Irish pub in Leipzig. Unfortunately, it recently lost a star because, after several years of trouble-free service, dogs are now banned indoors (the only restaurant I know of with this rule in Leipzig). So, a new pub is needed for the winter months – but in the summer, great burgers, beer, and a beautiful location!

Food was very tasty and the portions were a good size. The waitresses were super nice and asked several times if you needed anything else and if everything was OK. And it was well attended. There are also lots of TVs to watch sports on.

We lived in Karli for few year, this was our favourite pub to grab some beer and snacks. Love their burgers too. But looks like they hired someone new and she is such a rude person. So we stop coming there, we gave second chance for her tho but she spilled the beer all over me. Dunno it was pure accident or not, but overall it's good place to hang out with friends.

We were there on a Saturday and it was super crowded, which was great. We were greeted with: "the table is for more people than two" ....the sound makes the music! We then had a drink and moved on to the "Barfly", which was clearly the better decision.

Nice ambiente but not the best service. We felt pressured to order and did not feel welcome. Beer was expensive too in comparison to average places in Leipzig.

The pub is divided into 3 levels, when you come in you are assigned a table. It's usually quite full, so it's worth making a reservation. There is a large selection of food and drinks, the service is very fast and friendly. You are allowed to smoke in the pub, but there is also a non-smoking area.

I'm here once a year. Everything is harmonious, furnishings, drink selection, menu and also the darts sports program on the screens. The girls and boys are super friendly. A short break to feel good.

Just great. This is my shop. Everything I love is here. 150 types of whiskey, lots of good beer to choose from and really delicious food. We were there twice and had great conditions each time. Were received very friendly and gave very good advice (on whiskey). But the best thing about the shop is.... You can smoke there.... It was like a little dream for me, whiskey, beer, good food and being able to smoke in the same shop. I can't stop raving about it. I would love to take all of this with me to my hometown. If I could I would give 7 stars. P.s. there are two floors. Smoking is not allowed in the upper one and is intended for cozy dining. My absolute tip in Leipzig

One of the most beloved pubs in Leipzig. Cozy, interesting, sincere, friendly atmosphere, conceptual decor (Irish paraphernalia, beer signs, etc.). Delicious beer, there is a cool fresh draft from their own small brewery, there are also famous brands such as Kilkenny, Guinness, etc. Whiskey and other strong drinks are also available. Excellent appetizers, especially the chilli fried cheese. There is live music. On St. Day Patrick brews amazing green beer, delicious, with the aroma of herbs, and gives visitors Irish hats 🍀. Always playing good Irish folk rock records. A place where you want to return. 🍺

A very nice shop from the outside and inside, but unfortunately this impression was immediately destroyed by the service. Apparently we weren't sexy enough for the main floor for the waitress, so she wanted to take us to the basement despite there being free tables upstairs. Unfortunately this was already full. We then made another attempt to occupy one of the free tables in the upper area; However, the apparent house governess explained to us that she would reserve the right to seat the guests herself. If I can live with that, I'll just spend my money somewhere else... What calmed me down somewhat: I/We later met other guests in the neighboring shop who had the same experiences and had the same impression of the service staff...

I know it from before, the pub is really good, I especially like the Sake Bite Black, it's really delicious. Also the food, just great. There's nothing to complain about, we've been more than satisfied with every visit so far, both before and now.

Nice pub with smoking and non-smoking areas. Drinks and food are good, reservations are always recommended. There's still a table football table in the basement and almost exactly at the stop.

Unfortunately it has worn off... burgers were lukewarm - value for money is no longer right

We had rarely met such an unfriendly waitress, there were 6 of us and they actually allowed us to bother other guests by politely asking if the chair at their table was still free. A no go at least in this restaurant. It just doesn't help to put up a "Welcome to Ireland" sign if you don't know anything about Irish hospitality. Never ever MC Cormacks...there are significantly better alternatives.

Please send the German waitress upstairs to Ireland for further training! It's not possible in terms of customer friendliness and flexibility! Never ever again! Ballroom is the No. 1!

There's not much to say here. If you like really good burgers, McCormacks is the place for you. The waitresses are all really friendly and there's nothing to complain about when it comes to the ambience!

The food came fast and tasted really good. The waiter checked on us multiple times throughout the hour we were there. We barely speak German, but were able to speak to the staff.

Lavish, satisfying beer selection. Many good varieties on tap and also from the bottle. Food tastes good and is therefore more than acceptable for a bar. The whiskey selection is amazing! It was a very nice evening in a nice atmosphere and I will definitely come back more than once!

The ambience at McCormacks Pub is fantastic. Traditional Irish pub inside, cozy garden atmosphere in the back yard. Fantastic. The food: the standard cheeseburger was tested, with 180g patty, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion, cheese and bun. Overall, the burger looks good and is lovingly put together. The patty is a simple ready-made patty, unfortunately there is nothing special about it. The buns are good and tasty, but I don't understand the burnt part at the top. There is neither a logo embossed nor anything else visible. However, you can taste the burnt part :(. The burger sauce is evenly and generously distributed, which is good. But the taste is plain (probably just a ready-made Heinz burger sauce). Lettuce, cucumber, tomato and onions are fresh, crunchy and come good. All in all, the burger is ok, sometimes tasty, but really nothing special. Unfortunately, you can completely forget about the coleslaw (ordered separately as a side dish). It was drowned in oil and inedible. The service staff is nice, courteous and quick. Really very friendly, that's what you want. The prices are fair. If you want to have a nice evening in the pub with good beer and a few snacks, this is the right place for you. Unfortunately, it's not a culinary highlight.

After a long time, I was happy to visit my old local bar again. Unfortunately, not much remains of the splendor of the former times. The needs of customers are not taken into account.

As a pub refusing to broadcast darts is not worthy of the name, shame on you!!!
