Tasty, varied selection, nice ambience with the comfortable sofas and subtle traditional music in the background, only the toilet floors could use a broom BUT the beer is perfectly tapped!!!

I really liked Dhaba@49, we get very good food here, fresh and very healthy food for our children and we also have privacy for couples and the owner is also very friendly in nature

An absolute delight! The food was simply fantastic – authentic, fresh and full of flavour. The spices were perfectly balanced, the portions were generous and everything was prepared with a lot of love. The service was attentive, friendly and very warm. You feel completely comfortable and welcome. If you love Indian food (or want to get to know it), this is the place for you. Clear recommendation – I’ll definitely be back!

Not recommended for family visit. This place was not good in terms of ambience. The food was below standards and was very oily. The butter chicken was basically chicken floating on tomato soup. The chicken was also having a foul smell, probably went bad.

Me, my wife and 2 daughters arrived on a Thursday at 19:37. It took us not more than 15 minutes to decide what we wanted to eat and they took our order. It is now 21:20 and still no dishes on our table (almost 90 minutes waiting). Several customers arrived long after us and were served before us. By the way, we are a Hispanic family (only foreigners in the restaurant and we look arabic) and all the other customers were German. Strange coincidence that all the other tables were served first. Their excuse: maybe the orders got mixed up in the kitchen. At least two tables that arrived much later than us, were served first, so I don't buy it. Beware if you are a foreigner and you look from some specific ethnicities. I will never come back, even if it were the last restaurant in the world (a shame since the food is not bad). I read about interminority racism, but I never thought to live it. PD: The food arrived at 21:26. Almost two hours after we arrived. PD2: Response to the owner. The easiest way is to say it was because the complexity of the orders (actually I remember quite well, that the other people didn't order just fries and salad. The complexity was on par with our order: indian dishes) You didn't address any of my points. I don't take racism so lightly, so dismissing it as "ridiculous" is just insulting and I guess the only way that you find to contra-argument. I guess that for you there are customers that are just more important than others. If you check my other reviews I usually review very positively. I'm not just another troll that is focusing all my hate on you. You made a mistake of treating us as second class citizens and you prioritized the attention to the customers you thought were more important.

Apparently the Maharaja no longer exists since March 31st, but the website is still online and lets you pay diligently, but of course nothing is delivered and you can see whether and how you get your money back.

Not recommended place, they don’t deserve even 1 star, Unfriendly & Arrogant staff, quantity & quality of food super low, rice smells like left over, can get food poison easily, totally unhygienic. I order garlic naan but they serve Lidl wrap.

Last night we ordered appetizers, 3 Indian dishes (not spicy) and a pizza. Everyone enjoyed it very much. Since the portions were more than sufficient, we also had a very tasty lunch today. We were very satisfied yesterday and will happily order again.

We order here regularly and are ALWAYS super satisfied! The tastiest butter chicken I know 🥰
