Authentic Indian food, just like in India – incredibly delicious! Everything is freshly prepared and served hot. You can even see that the staff is warm and attentive, and the seating is very comfortable. A solid 10 out of 10 for me.

A very nice atmosphere with friendly staff, very authentic, and they opened the shop later especially for us. Highly recommend the tikka masala or butter chicken.

Good selection, including vegetarian options. Generous portion sizes and very friendly service. Definitely recommendable :)

Hello, yes, the restaurant needs renovation, BUT The food is so much better. A large selection, we're even convinced of it. The food is freshly cooked here. The service is super friendly, and they almost anticipate your every wish. We'd love to come back. It's great. All the food is available for takeaway. As a bonus, it's even cheaper. All in all, you feel more like a guest here. We'd love to come back.

We went there for the first time yesterday. Very authentic Indian food. Very tasty. The appetizer platter for two was very good, very large, and very tasty. The taste and service are highly recommended.

We're from Bavaria and stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant by chance. Everything was absolutely fantastic! Very attentive service, plentiful and delicious food! Freshly tapped, cold pilsner! You couldn't ask for more!

We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our table. The menu offered a good selection. We chose different lamb dishes. Both were very tasty. They had two different spice levels: 2 and 3. My choice of 3 was very good, but could have been a bit spicier. My companion found spice level 2 sufficient. The meat was very tender and flavorful, the mushrooms were fresh, as was the spinach. The sauce was just right. The rice and naan bread were plentiful. The appetizer included three delicious dips with thin bread, roti, which was heavy to handle but delicious. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not very busy, although the delivery service was busy. We liked the atmosphere. The value for money is also excellent. Our server, who was also the chef, was very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it and will stop by again on my next visit to Oberhausen.

I highly recommend this restaurant. I had tomato soup with naan as a starter, both of which were delicious. For my main course, I had lamb curry (spicy level 2) with rice. The lamb was very tender yet juicy, the curry sauce was also incredibly good and still acceptable for my spicy tolerance (if you're not used to spicy food, I would recommend spicy level 1), and the rice as a side dish was also good. All the dishes arrived piping hot. The staff is also very friendly and prompt, so you get your ordered food/drink promptly. I will definitely come back and/or order from here in the future!

The food was truly delicious, no question – freshly prepared and delicious. Unfortunately, the positive impression was marred by an unpleasant experience: The lunch menu advertised an included drink, but instead, without question, the largest drink was automatically served. Only when paying, after asking, was it pointed out that it was not included in the menu price due to its size. I'm aware that some restaurants will serve the largest option if the menu item isn't specified – but not if a "free drink" is clearly advertised beforehand. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem transparent, but rather a scam to generate extra sales. Conclusion: Delicious food, but the lack of transparency regarding the drink unfortunately made it a disappointing visit. I won't be returning.

There's a wide selection of dishes: meat, vegetarian, vegan, and halal. We chose the Lamb Palak, Maharaja Special Chicken, Garlic Naan, and Chili Garlic Naan. We drank two Mango Lassis. You can choose your desired level of spiciness (four levels). There's nothing to complain about. The food was delicious, the portions generous. The staff was very friendly, attentive (without being intrusive!), and accommodating. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully and lovingly decorated without appearing kitschy. It's located right at an intersection and has parking on both sides. However, free parking is also available on the adjacent streets.

We were in town with friends for a concert and had dinner at the restaurant beforehand. The service was super friendly and the food was really fresh and delicious. The garlic naan bread was very good. We'd be happy to go again.

The main ingredient cauliflower was completely missing from the Daal Tarkar dish I ordered. There wasn't a single cauliflower floret in the food.

It's always an absolute taste experience! The kitchen is very versatile and special requests are taken into account, and questions are always answered in a friendly manner. The service is very attentive. The food is prepared quickly and is always of a more than good quality. The portions might be a little small for some people, but with a few side dishes or an appetizer you will be more than full! Even when ordering via Lieferando, the food was very tasty. It's my absolute favorite restaurant!

We had the food delivered to our home. The mango chicken was tasty, but the sabji pakora looked more like using up leftovers and didn't really taste good either. This can definitely get better 😉

I was not in the restaurant but ordered via their website. Food is really bad!!! Super oily and really with no flavor. For what I paid they are way better Indian restaurants out there. From the delivery all the oil was coming out of the package.

We have been visiting Maharajas since it opened. The food was always very tasty and the employees were very friendly. Except for New Year's Eve 2023, we never had to wait long for our food. We can definitely recommend it.

I believed the comments and unfortunately I was proven wrong, I've never had an evening like that before, I thought my stomach would explode at any moment, because I'd never had cramps like that before. Well, to keep it short, there was chicken tika number 50 and garlic naan number 34 and an unforgettable evening full of stomach pains, the ad is out. Be careful what you eat...

We had it delivered. Delivery time 2 hours. 90 minutes were announced. Starters were unsightly. I wouldn't order again. Naan bread doubtful. 2 skin dishes okay. Both chicken. Paid 45.90. That was a lot for what was delivered.

I don't want to badmouth the place, the food there was really good early on. But today we were very disappointed. Quite unfriendly on the phone and when picking up. The appetizer plate for two is a huge lump of fried food with packaged sauces and the curry is unfortunately not anywhere near what it was a while ago. We very rarely throw anything away, but unfortunately it wasn't edible. Too bad, we're out.

Butter Chicken was quite good. But more than disappointed with the naan bread. The dough wasn't baked properly. And it was looked after with tons of garlic. In the picture it's just a part that I scraped off. I will never order again

We ordered there for the first time. Chicken Vandaloo and Korma - both very tasty. Price-performance ratio absolutely fine. 1 star deduction because the delivery unfortunately took over 100 minutes instead of the stated 75 minutes. We will definitely order there again and then just plan a little more time :)
