Good service, but the food didn’t work for me. Calling it “authentic Kerala food” is a long stretch — it’s still far, far away from being called authentic Kerala food.

I was there with my international colleagues, and everyone really enjoyed the food. It was absolutely delicious! My personal favorite was the veg korma with parotta. The mango lassi was amazing, and the parottas were simply to die for. I even had to pack some parottas for takeaway. We concluded the entire meal with chai, and their chai immediately teleported me to India. We traveled all the way from Paderborn to Dortmund just for this food. Even though DB gave us a hard time, I’d still say it was absolutely worth the trip just to enjoy this delicious meal.

We used to come here regularly. Upon entering the restaurant, you're immediately struck by the lovely ambiance. The walls are adorned with beautiful decorative elements such as paintings (Kathakali, Bharatanatyam, Veena, elephants, etc.) and lettering. Plus, there's always great music playing <3 We were greeted warmly upon arrival, and the service was excellent throughout, with staff accommodating our requests and special requests. However, this seems to depend heavily on who you order from. It's no longer possible to adjust the spice level, which is a real shame, because the food is not only beautifully presented and smells wonderful, but it also tastes fantastic. Unfortunately, this is of no use if you can no longer tolerate spicy food. On our first few visits, it was still possible to order very mild or even non-spicy. This isn't an option with the male servers. I used to enjoy coming here, but my recent experience has increasingly shown this to be a problem. So, sadly, I won't be returning.

We had Chattichoru and Ellum Kappayum - two dishes from Kerala which tasted delicious and authentic. Food takes a little time to prepare but this was as expected at most Indian restaurants which prepare fresh food.

First time trying this place since we came to Germany from UK, the food is stunning and the atmosphere is really cosy. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and also to try out the chatti pal parotta:)

If you want a good food experience you should come here in Dixon's Kitchen, the customer service is also really amazing, really comfortable and also recommend the special pazhampori and beef.

I tried the milk tea and pazhampori — both were delicious! The atmosphere has a nice vintage touch, and the staff are kind and courteous. I’m looking forward to coming again with my friends to try all the delicious Kerala dishes, as they have a wide variety on the menu.

The best Kerala Restaurant in NRW, I would say. Very authentic taste. You get the same taste and flavours as in Kerala. Had Sadya yesterday, it was good. The Payasam was really really tasty. And as a cherry on top , the Bolly was super tasty. I am also a fan of their Chatty paal porotta and Policha Meen and many more. Their Kulukki Sarbath is the best. 👌🏽 My GoTo place for all the cravings. Highly recommend.

Every dish was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors, and it was the perfect way to end our trip. We would definitiv recommend this for all.

Superb authentic food and lovely service! I am a big fan of the fish fry and the extremely flakey porotas. We were here with a large group of family members and were seated promptly by Needhu who was friendly and considerate. Definitely a big recommendation when you are around in Dortmund and have hunger pangs for authentic and delicious south indian food!

I’ve visited this Indian restaurant several times, hoping things would get better, but the quality of the food has only gone downhill. Each time, it tasted worse than before. My most recent visit was yesterday, and it was by far the worst. The food was not only disappointing but also made me feel unwell — I started vomiting the next day and felt sick ever since. I genuinely enjoy Indian cuisine, but this place has been a consistent letdown. Based on my repeated negative experiences and the health issues I faced, I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.
