I'm really sad that you closed, it was a super nice and friendly team. It tasted great and the portions were huge. Hope you open again at some point. Kind regards, Dorit Witte-Soliman

Fine Indian food - The description on the restaurant sign actually says everything about the Happy Buddha. This small, inconspicuous restaurant, far away from mass tourism, surprises with a very warm welcome and excellent Indian cuisine. The chicken dal and chicken tikke masala were just two of the taste experiences that we were able to enjoy, accompanied by jogy tea and finally a jogi beer. The ambience and conversations with the owner invite you to linger - quiet, relaxing with unobtrusive Indian background music. After eating you'll definitely be as happy as a Buddha and the restaurant is definitely worth a visit again - the menu still has a lot to offer. Greetings from Austria Kristin and Christian

Hello? There is no shop here, let alone a restaurant!

Ordered various dishes for a single person sitting in a tiny table, but to the surprise, all were brought in together in one go. All cold. There was a piece of metal scrub in the food. That gave me a lesson - don’t eat out anymore. The waitress doesn’t have to be extremely polite or something, but sure shouldn’t have a huge ego and show those to others. Taste was not close by any means to what I’ve had on my trip to India. Ambience was poor. Cramped and no privacy (dividers between tables). Enlightening experience

Finally eating Indian food again. Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity very often. The large selection of dishes made it a bit difficult, but I quickly decided (for my standards) on the "Chilli Chicken", which was advertised as very spicy. The sharpness was great for me. It was spicy, but not so overpowering that you couldn't taste anything. And that's fortunate, because the taste was also very good apart from the spiciness. I got full and luckily didn't have any long-term effects because of the spiciness 😉. The music was pleasantly Indian/modern. The only thing that wasn't great was the table that was initially offered near the entrance door, as it was quite drafty. Thank God there wasn't anything free further back.
