10/10 for business lunch. 1. Tomato soup with a small bhatura ( Wish they serve two more pieces of the mini bhatura I would gladly pay another euro) 2. Curry 3. Rice Ranging from €6.9 to €9, a complete meal for a person.

Super tasty food: chicken korma and lamb curry with some side dishes. Delicious cocktails and a house soup beforehand. Good price. Friendly staff. Top!

Excellent service and very tasty food

I've been a regular customer there for 20 years and the service is great. Always courteous, friendly and interested in making the guest feel comfortable. If the food wasn't good, I wouldn't have been eating there for 20 years.😉

Really friendly staff but the food was quite disappointing. It didn't taste like fresh spices were used, the rice was dry and their cheese didn't taste homemade. The drinks are very strong.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. I had mutton biryani yesterday and fell sick today. Either the meat was very old or the oil wasn’t of decent quality.

Solid Indian restaurant on Tempelhofer Damm. The food is of a good medium standard, which is also reflected in the price-performance ratio. The menu offers a large selection of different dishes and will ensure that lovers of Indian cuisine get their money's worth. However, I wasn't able to discover any real specialties. However, the service staff is always friendly and waiting times are kept to a minimum. The, let's call it "winter garden" is quite pleasant, in which you can sit outside, especially in the transitional period, without freezing. The restaurant offers plenty of seating options, making it also suitable for spontaneous visits. I can highly recommend the mixed menus for several people, as they are comparatively creatively put together and so there is something for everyone or everyone can try everything.

The food was okay, but when I paid with my card, I also left some cash as a tip. Later, I noticed they had also charged a tip without my permission. So be careful!

The 0815 Indian restaurant. Like everywhere. I wanted the dishes to be spicy but they came out mild.

Food is good, but the service leaves much to be desired. Orders take forever to place and receiving the bill is equally slow. Despite the poor service, they still expect a higher tip, which is completely unacceptable.

Delicious Chana Masala, the Pickels and Bathura were both on point .

Such a modest restaurant, easy going and traditional ambiance. Food has flavour and price matching. Staff is polite, ( they can work a bit on the steps of service, talking and explaining a bit more the food. Looking to come back again. Our host Shamim , was super friendly and kind.

It used to be very good. My favorite Indian. New management, new name. The staff hardly speaks any German. They are also very, very unfriendly. I ate lentil soup almost every week and don't understand why it is now offered with animal products. Well, another loveless Indian who just offers people dirt. No thank you . Oh yes, mom. I always enjoy being with you. Unfortunately, some dishes have changed. The korma is sweeter and palak paneer has a different seasoning. What the hell. It still tastes good, but not like it used to and I've been visiting you for 12 years. Keep it up anyway =)

I had the unfortunate experience of working here for a short period of time. I can confirm that the restaurant is not up to standard. If you saw how the kitchen was run you’d be sick. Hygiene is the least of their priorities when cooking and I can say this having worked in various restaurants prior to Ji Amma. The waiters are poorly managed and have no taste whatsoever. The waiters are only polite to guests to receive additional tips, behind the customers back they will say unkind words if the customer tips poorly. They don’t take well to anyone who is slightly disabled and the staff are not LGBT+ friendly. I can say on numerous occasions they secretly made fun of LGBT+ customers.

Nettes Restaurant. Guter Service, und Essen war von der Qualität auch gut. Allerdings geschmacklich sehr an "die wesentlichen Gäste" angepasst. Also eher mild und cremig als spicy und geschmacksintensiv.

Wir haben zu zweit die Punjabi Platte bestellt. Wir waren danach mehr als satt. Die Gerichte von der Platte waren allesamt groß und sehr lecker, die Beilagen ebenso. Die Kellner waren sehr nett und aufmerksam. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Abend. Wir kommen jederzeit wieder!

Very disappointed with Chicken Biryani I had at this restaurant which was simply not a Biryani. Biryani has a particular and unique flavor which was nowhere to find. Felt like I was served rice only mixed with chicken curry. Avoid this dish.

Wir sind da hin weil das gegenüberliegende Restaurant einen Umbau hat. Ich habe das Chicken currry von der Tageskarte bestellt und das Essen war schon leicht verdorben! Meine kollegin hat es probiert und bestätigt, bzw hatte sie zwar was anderes bestellt aber es war die gleiche „Soße“ , meins mit chicken und ihres mit Kirchererbsen, und ihres hat auch verdorben geschmeckt. Sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt !

Sehr Nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Sehr gutes Essen und die Preise sind moderat. Alles zusammen, gerne wieder.

Das Palak Paneer schmeckt uns dort immer sehr gut. Der Spinat ist hier grün und nicht braun und lecker gewürzt. Noch toller wäre es wenn der Käse etwas angebraten werden würde. Der Salat mit Huhn war mega lecker gewürzt, da es fast süchtig gemacht hat, hoffe ich dass keine Geschmacksverstärker im Spiel waren ;-)

Absolut unterirdisch, Essen war absolut nicht mit liebe gemacht und danach bekommt man noch Bauchschmerzen und Übelkeit...ein Fall fürs Gesundheitsamt...

Sehr freundliches und um den Gast bemühtes Personal. Die Speisen sind sehr lecker. Wir haben eine Platte für zwei Personen bestellt. Dadurch konnte man mehrere unterschiedliche Speisen genießen. Die Portionsgrößen waren sehr gut. Es ist auch noch unsere Tochter mit satt geworden.

Das Essen kann ich nicht bewerten, da wir hier nur einige Cocktails getrunken haben und die Auswahl ist super. Das servieren hat jedoch Recht lang gedauert..

Leckere indische Küche. Service ist aufmerksam. Sehr Auskunftsfreudig zu Gewürzen und Rezepten. Gerne könnten manche Currys schärfer sein. Der gemischte Vorspeisen Teller ein Traum.

1. You will be surprised! Food is Indian only on looks.... completely made for local German preference...you will regret if you expect it would be authentic India. It's not even close!! 2. Racism: yes, you will be treated not like a guest but a refugee....this behaviour you see while taking order, serving etc. It is not exclusive here, it is the case across many Indian restaurants I observed in Berlin. They may be thinking of every Indian is like a food delivery boy who picks the packages....I hope they will understand one day, people come here from India are not just delivery boys or servers...majority are of highly qualified and educated who just look similar to them. 3. Most of the cases these staff are of not really sound in education if we observe across these Indian restaurants, they lack awareness who is what! Unfortunately these people can not differentiate dignity of labour vs. equality vs. Status/respect

For their hospitality and racism I am giving one star, if you are a German they treat you with high respect and if you are an Indian you don't get the same respect, Give respect and treat everyone equally, the girl working there is comparatively nice though! Food is okayishh

Sehr schlecht. Kein Geschmack...Gewürze fehlten und die ganze Familie war unglücklich. Die Pommes waren sogar kalt und hatten einen süßen Geschmack. Sehr unglücklich.

Wir gehen seit ca. 12 Jahren dort essen.. und seit der alte Koch nicht mehr da ist, hat die Qualität des Essens leider immer mehr abgenommen. Sehr schade auf jeden Fall ! Das war wohl unser letzter Besuch heute. 🥴

Ich kenne und schätze dieses Restaurant seit vielen Jahren. Das Essen ist gut, die Portionen sind üppig. Hervorzuheben ist der Service. Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit stehen hier ganz weit oben.

Ich war gestern mit meiner Familie dort und war sehr zufrieden. Das Essen hat wie immer sehr gut geschmeckt. Ich kann Amma weiter empfehlen.

The food is good. No English service but an English menu and you can muddle through the rest.

It's the best place for Indian food in Berlin. The place is neat and clean and we are served well on every visit. Staff is very courteous. Moreover, it fun to hear 90s Bollywood music on their playlist 😁

Freundlicher Service doch wenig an den Gästen interessiert, Gäste werden teils zu forsch angesprochen. Gerichte welche mit Salat reserviert werden bekommen bei zwei Personen die selbe Menge. Auf einem gemischtem Salat ist hier Sauerkraut, Gläser und Deko an den Cocktails eher mittelmäßig. Heizungen im Vorzelt und das im Klimawandel, dafür aber LED Kerzen, im Zelt ist der nicht gekennzeichnete Notausgang abgeschlossen. Tische sind teilweise auszutauschen da defekt. Beim bezahlen wird trotz Trinkgeld nicht Danke gesagt... Musik ist wenig authentisch und eher nicht dem Image zuzuordnen. Komme nicht mehr wieder und werde andere Läden besuchen.

Viele Sitzmöglichkeiten drinnen und draußen. Draußen ist gut überdacht, dass man bei jedem Wetter dort sitzen kann. Freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Am frühen Abend und mittags oft ohne Reservierung möglich. Super leckeres Essen. Große Portionen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne. Auch im November 2022 zählt das Geschriebene.

Ein solider Inder mit großer Konkurrenz direkt gegenüber auf der anderen Straßenseite. Die Gerichte gehen in Ordnung, am besten natürlich zur "happy hour", der Preise wegen. Das Personal ist nett.
