Super-yummy vegan Dosas and amazing Service. Very friendly.

The food here is absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Chicken Biryani and Lamm Biryani for Biriyani lover's.

The food was amazing and authentic in taste. All of us really enjoyed the food. Amazing service by the team. There's also a weekend special menu from which we tried Meen Polichathu which was just like the one we get back home. Kothu roti tasted the best we have had so far in Berlin. I would definitely recommend the place for some good food and good time.

Literally best Indian food I’ve had.

The food was okay. The curry didn't come with a lot of rice, so I asked for a little more, and they charged me €6 for it. Even though we ordered plenty of food and drinks, we were denied tap water in the 30-degree heat. There are much better options in Berlin.

I tried veg kuttu paratha, it was really nice and tasty. You should try this as well if you are a vegetarian.

As an international student, I often miss the flavors and comfort of home-cooked meals. Visiting Yummy Kitchen was an amazing experience — the food tasted just like home and brought back so many memories. I also want to appreciate the new cook, who did a wonderful job. I was told he’s recently joined, and I could truly feel the love and care he puts into every dish. His cooking made a real difference — it felt like it came straight from someone’s heart. The waiter and waitress were incredibly kind and attentive. Their warmth and understanding of our culture made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. I highly recommend Yummy Kitchen to fellow international students and to anyone who wants to enjoy tasty, comforting food in a friendly, home-like atmosphere.

Lamb was dry, chicken was dry, sauces were flavorful but with no core. Just another average restaurant in the city of average restaurants

Did not like the food at all. Everything we had was average and cant be called authentic. I am no expert but when there is a strong smell of meat the meat is tough, that means something is not right. We had lamb chettinad and lamb roast and chicken 65 (super dry) Rice was so dry. And mango lassi... i mean i have had better lassi at thai restaurant. Service was good though.

If you are looking for authentic indian food and some thing beyond usual butter chicken or palak paneer, hit this place. Do try their chettinad mutton curry and beef pepper masala. and of course the dosa.

I came here with my friend for lunch today after we just arrived in Berlin. We walked past and got in randomly, and it turned into a very nice experience! The waitress is super friendly and helpful in helping me choosing food since I didn't understand the menu clearly. We went for a fish curry and lamb roganjosh for food, mango lassi and lychee shake for drinks, and they were all so good. Highly recommend this place!

The food is always either a hit or a miss. Either it tastes the absolute best or it’s mediocre there is no in between but the service is great and one of the best South Indian restaurants in Berlin. I would a 100% recommend this restaurant.

After being abroad for more than a year, i have not got a restaurant that served authentic south indian dishes that has the homely taste but here you get transported back to kerala.

The name is changed and you will find it by Chettinad. Nevertheless, it is a great discovery. Serves great Authentic Dosa and different South Indian cuisines - Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian. Already been there twice. Would love to visit more.

This is gem of a place for south Indian food. The kotthu parota is amazing and the biryani as well. Must visit if you want to eat south Indian food. Idli is good as well, but it is a different variant.

I tried the Mutton Briyani at your restaurant, and I have to say, it was quite disappointing. It didn’t taste like Briyani at all, it was more like sambar rice. The flavours were completely off. Truly disappointing and not worth the money.

The food was very authentic comparing to the other Indian restaurants that I’ve been to. South Indian cuisine is definitely their specialty and I loved it! (I tried all non veg dishes) I also felt very warm and home like vibes at this restaurant. (Good recommendation especially for South Indian cuisine lovers)

I absolutely love South Indian food and it’s something I personally feel is difficult to get wrong. Really really disappointed with the taste and quality of the food here. We ordered idli which were so bad - they were crumbling the texture was off and the taste just so bland, we actually sent it back. We also ordered two dossas one masala one mysore and both were below average, the potato mix inside was so mediocre and tasted bland I managed to somehow finish mine (more cos I was hungry than anything) and my partner only ate the dossa part and skipped the potato. I’ll give them an extra star cos they graciously excluded the idli we sent back from the bill but otherwise if you are looking for good comfort South Indian food this just isn’t the place for that

The service here is always top-notch, but the food is what really stands out. I usually go for the Kottu Roti or the parotta set with either veg Kuruma or Paneer Chettinad Curry. The portions are always generous—I keep forgetting just how much food they serve! Every visit has been consistently great. This is my go-to spot whenever I’m craving kottu parotta. Highly recommend!

Really authentic south indian cuisine, I don't think it gets better than this. We tried beef kothu parotta and biryani. Biryani was okay but the kothu parotta was spicy enough to set the building on fire

The chef conveniently said "we use the rice from chicken biriyani for the veg and egg biriyani" and served it to a pure vegetarian, with absolutely no remorse of the situation. Was a good: service at the beginning, but with now I wouldn't come back anytime soon. Thank you for a great service😏

Absolute disgusting food and ambiance. They keep you wait for couple of minutes and then let you in. After that they say only selected items available. Food taste is also pathetic. All the typical reviews are from their friends and family. I would definitely never recommend this restaurant.

I have been a regular at Yummy Kitchen for almost 3 years now - it is my second home in Berlin. The first aspect I love about the restaurant is the warm hospitality of the staff, courtesy of Chef Nalan and my dear friends Rahul and Amulya who are always very attentive to all requests and will make sure your experience a memorable one. I have tried almost all the dishes on their menu but I am particularly a fan of their weekend special menus which keep changing. The food is absolutely delicious and I can’t get enough of it. They constantly serve authentic Kerala cuisine as well as all other popular north Indian and South Indian dishes. My personal recommendations - Chattichoru, porotta and beef curry, biriyani, dosa varieties, Yummy Tandoori platter, fish curry, starters and all weekend specials A big thank you to the team at Yummy Kitchen and I highly recommend everyone living in or visiting Berlin to go visit and taste the authentic dishes they serve on a daily basis! Cute chettinad cuisine restaurant in the middle of a bustling street Brings you back to a typical south indian cafe! Good menu selection with good prices Would recommend ghee podi masala dosa! Which was fantastic! The aviral was great had it with a parrota The idli sambar was sub par. The idlis weren't the best. The thatta dosa also called set dosa was nice and spongy. The rasam is a let down, it lacks a punch and is more like an accompaniment for rice than a starter which is what it is marketed as. It isn't like the brothy spicy soup one would expect and is more like a tomato dal.

Totally happy and satisfied after visiting Yummy Kitchen! Today the three of us tried the weekend specials (meals & chatti choru beef) and we were thrilled. We haven't been able to experience such perfectly authentic "Kerala style" in Berlin for ages. Kudos & Thanks to the Chef, Amulya & Rahul for their hospitality and service. 100% We'll be back! ❤️

I usually order 'Chicken biriyani', 'Mutton biryani', 'Beef ularthyathu' and 'Avial' from this restaurant and it was my first time today visiting the restaurant. It was a very pleasant experience interacting with the staff 'Amulya' and the chef ('Nalan') himself. They were really friendly :) I would highly recommend this place for the most authentic South Indian food.

The food was heavenly and took me back to Kerala!! We ordered Mutton Biriyani and Beef ularthiyathe with Malabar porotta. The taste was authentic and the portion size was enough for a foodie like me. The staff, Amulya, was very friendly and she introduced us to the chef Nalan. We will definitely go there frequently and I highly recommend the restaurant to the Malayalis in Berlin and south Indian food lovers!! :)

We absolutely loved this place. Even though next door was busier, this place felt much more authentic and all the other customers were South Asian. The two people who served us were so kind and friendly!!! Great find. Why don’t more tourists take a 20 minute stroll from Potsdamer Platz and experience the local neighbourhoods a stones throw from their proximity.

I have been here multiple times, mostly for the biriyani, but last day, I had the masala dosa, and it was amazing. It was a great plating with all the necessary chutney and a good sambar. Also, I ordered the beef curry and rice, which was delicious. The only problem was that it got over so fast😅😋

As an Indian, I would love to support them. I rarely write reviews but this place is so inconsistent. You can order the same dish 10 times and get 10 different variations. They leave out key ingredients regularly yet I keep ordering because they are close to where I live. Rather order from Abirams next door to them.

If you are in Berlin, and craving for some real authentic south Indian food, and getting disappointed by a lot of Indian restaurants. Habibi come and visit Yummy Kitchen. I ordered take out. In my experience the food was below average. The samousa had very little filling and I found it very oily. I also ordered Dahl which was a little bland but a nice consistency. I had chicken 65 and I found it had a weird sour aftertaste. Throughout the meal, I had a sour aftertaste in my mouth, and I felt that the food was not very fresh. The chicken was also very oily and tasted like old oil.

None of the staff speaks German, but English doesn't get you very far either. There is confusion and you don't know who is waiting there and who isn't. Nevertheless, everyone was very friendly. It sounds like a contradiction, but it was true. My food was delicious. I emphasized that it shouldn't be spicy, but it really is spicy. My companion spent the night in the bathroom; there was probably something wrong with the meal. I won't go there again.
