Disaster. I don't know what kind of chicken is this and it's definitely not grilled and definitely not tandoori. And I don't understand WHY IT'S BRIGHT PINK? The garlic naan is not baked at all, it's raw dough. The best thing was the free papadam that came with the food, those were actually good. I guess to compensate for the disappointment.

You can always eat well at Houdini. There is a large selection and it tastes very good. One employee in particular (who is almost always there) is particularly friendly and likes to joke around with the guests. The prices are a bit higher among Indian restaurants, but reasonable. Unfortunately, the toilets were a bit dirty on several visits here

Food okay, card terminal rejected my card and you can use the same card to withdraw money from the ATM around the corner for an extra 5 euros and the boss thinks it's okay and the service is still expected TIP. Well, a nice life

I really enjoy eating there with my wife. But we also often order there and have it delivered to us. It's always fantastic! The staff is always friendly and attentive. Gladly again at any time =). The highlight is the lamb korma. Such incredibly well done lamb!

Got scammed on this place. Instead of getting a butter chicken I got a plate that was in discount 8 euros cheaper than the butter chicken. Even though I told them the color seems to be weird for a butter chicken they still said excuses.

This place has amazing food! Unfortunately we waited 40 minutes for the meal. Other costumers complained about the same issue, this was on a Sunday evening..

I had lunch here today. Stopped by by chance. Chicken Vindaloo is my favorite food, preferably a little spicier. Add papadums and sauces. Everything delicious.

Worst curry I've ever had. No meat, no rice just tomato paste and some spicy sauce and enough oil to fry McDonald's chips in for a month. Not worth 5 euro never mind 27euros. Sprite was chilled, rest went in the bin.

I've never been to the restaurant but order online. Food has always been consistently delicious, and when it's listed as spicy, it really is. Good job, we'll definitely continue to order.

I ordered samosas, mango soup and mango lassi. Unfortunately, the soup was very fatty, and the samosas (also far too fatty) and vegetables were very salty. I've eaten much tastier Indian food for a little less money.

We order it online. The butter chicken masala was good but the malai kofta was tasteless. It didn’t have any flavor, no salt.. it kinda tasted like it was made with lots of water. We asked for refund as we paid a lot of money on the order and they said they wouldn’t refund us because everybody like their food and we were the first to say it wasn’t good. The butter naan was also strange, looked raw like it wasn’t cooked enough and it didn’t taste good. Rice with no salt no taste. I definitely don’t recommend it We saw on the LEBENSMITTELAMST PANKOW and they have the lowest hygiene ratings. I really don’t understand why the restaurant is still open to the public. I wish I had seen this before ordering.

Avoid this establishment!!! I ordered a Malai Kofta, and it was the most horrible food I've ever encountered. It was cold, sloppily prepared, lacked any discernible flavor, the rice was unsalted, and the sauce was also with no seasoning—it tasted as if soap had been accidentally added. The restaurant refused to refund me, claiming no one else had complained, they didnt try to help, they did not do anything. The naan was raw. Check the website of the health inspection from Pankow and you will see that this place failed in basically every hygiene measure from in a report from January 2024. If you value your health, steer clear of this place.

Friendly, attentive service, the food is good and plentiful. The vegetarian dishes are good. Overall, highly recommended restaurant. The information refers to the food. We didn't try the cocktails.

We have been regular guests here for several years. The cocktails here are super tasty and well mixed, and the food is incredibly delicious. The atmosphere and the entire staff - especially Najeb - are super friendly and in a good mood. We would always make the journey here because it is more than worth it. Best bar in Berlin, we have almost a family connection here. Best regards Pascal

Very good Indian food and reasonable prices.

The most colada options I've ever seen! And it's not just for show, they all taste different and are really delicious. Since we discovered this place, we went there every day to finish it with some tasty coladas (3 last days of our vacation). Tasted all the options they have, my personal favorites are the mango colada and the strawberry colada, would drink them every day if I could, the price is also totally worth it, after 18:00 all cocktails are sold for 6.90€ but I would buy them even if it was 10€. The nachos are very good as well, great place to have a drink after work or at the end of the day to finish it on a good note. Definitely would recommend and if I'll visit Berlin again you bet I'm gonna come here again for the colads :) The staff was also very sweet and attentive, overall a really good place!

Today I ordered food from this restaurant and there was 1 item missing then i was msg to wolt and give my money back because this item already miss so it’s normal i have take my money back then they refused we can’t give you money back . We ate there a few days ago and it tasted very good! The service was also great. Because it tasted so good the other day, we ordered today. Unfortunately the food was a big disappointment. It didn't taste anything like what we had eaten there. Unfortunately there was almost no garlic on the Garlic Naan. We ordered chicken curry and sabzi korma. Both looked as if they had mixed together other guests' leftovers and delivered them to us. We won't be ordering again.

Very cozy place with cheerful staff. The food was tasty, and the cocktails ranged from ok to good. Prices for food a fair, and it's very convenient to share. One of the waiters was still in training and got some orders wrong, but it was fixed quickly and gracefully.

Favorite Indian! Above all, the very nice people in service make the visit a pleasure. Lots of vegetarian options, everything quick and tasty. Often very crowded on weekend evenings.

Really not nice. Maybe as a brit we are spoiled with indian food but the naan was so soggy it still seemed doughy and not cooked enough, not even any scorch marks which you would get if cooked in tandoor oven. Curry sauce was ok at best and the chicken had a strange consistency. Sadly the best part of it was the plain rice and small poppadom they included.

Bin heute das erste Mal dort gewesen. Das Personal war von der ersten Minute an sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich wurde mehrfach gefragt, ob alles okay ist und ob ich noch Wünsche habe. Das Essen war hervorragend. Ich hatte als Hauptspeise Palak Paneer bestellt und um original indische Schärfe gebeten. Dieser Wunsch wurde mir auch erfüllt. Viele andere indische Restaurants verstehen das nicht und geben mir nur europäisches Scharfenniveau. Die Preise sind fair. Insgesamt sehr zufrieden, gerne wieder.

I have to unfortunately adjust my rating because this restaurant received horrible hygiene ratings from officials (Lebensmittelamt Pankow, check online, beware of the pictures), at least the 3rd year in a row. We've been avoiding it ever since.

Finde es eigentlich total unnötig, Servicepersonal zu kritisieren, weil ich selbst lange im Service gearbeitet habe und den Stressfaktor gut verstehen kann, aber ich wurde noch nie so dreist und sexistisch behandelt, wie als ich in diesem Laden mit Freundinnen Cocktails trinken war. Nachdem der Kellner uns über zehn Minuten ignoriert hat, kam er irgendwann und meinte dann nur genervt, "Was ist?" um unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen. Danach hat er mich abfällig mit irgendeinem Kosenamen betitelt, weil mir etwas runtergefallen ist, und als wir beim Bezahlen aufgeteilt haben, wer was zahlt, meinte er, "Rechnen kannste auch nicht,". Das alles wäre so oder so dreist gewesen, aber sein abfälliger Unterton hat alle Anwesenden richtig geschockt. Die anderen Mitarbeiter waren nett, aber ich würde nie wieder ins Houdini gehen, weil das einfach eine der respektlosesten Situationen war, die ich je im Service erlebt habe.

Ein toller Abend mit Freunden. Najeb hat uns den ganzen Abend höflich und aufmerksam begleitet und tolle Empfehlungen zum Essen gegeben. Wir waren 6 Personen, die unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt haben und alle waren satt und zufrieden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wow! Haben heute das erste Mal bei Houdini bestellt und es war ein absolutes Highlight. Die Pakoras waren super lecker und eine tolle Auswahl an wirklich extrem leckeren Soßen war auch dabei. Das Malai Kofta war auch seeeehr gut, perfekt gewürzt und die Kartoffelbällchen wirklich perfekt auf den Punkt gegart. Die Verpackung war SO super liebevoll gestaltet und hat einem direkt ein Lächeln ins Gesicht gezaubert! Wir kommen demnächst aufjedenfall persönlich vorbei 🤗 Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wenn ihr super Cocktail (und zwar nicht die mini 200 ml Gläser) und gutes Essen genießen wollt, dann seid ihr hier genau richtig!

Not tasty at all, very watery flavour. Chicken has a weird texture and the Naan bread was soggy. Do not recommend.

They are pretty amazing. It's the best Indian food I have had in Berlin. They are not the cheapest, but they also don't skimp on meat, which I care about.

Wir haben 3 Hauptgerichte und 2 mal Naan bestellt und was soll ich sagen es war fantastisch. Das Essen kam innerhalb einer halben Stunde und war trozdem noch sehr warm. Außerdem war das Essen sehr liebevoll verpackt und beschriftet, zudem haben wir noch drei Dips und Papadam aufs Haus bekommen. Für uns hätte der Minz-Dip noch etwas mehr Minze vertragen können, aber ansonsten war alles perfekt. Definitiv bestellen.

Die Cocktail Happy Hour (ab 18:00 5,90€) war toll! Sehr lecker und der Service war wirklich grandios!

Unfortunately I got food poisoned after eating here (ordered). Can not recommend.

Wir hatten uns zwei mal das Butter Chicken zum Liefernlassen bestellt. Es wurde sehr schnell zubereitet und geliefert. Die Verpackungen wurden auch süß beschriftet. An sich war das Essen sehr lecker, allerdings hatte ich in meinem Gericht etwas, was nicht hineingehörte… ansonsten stimmt hier das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis vollkommen.

Saag lacked flavour. Naan bread is very doughy with no tandoor flavour.

Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, ein indisches Restaurant zu besuchen und ich muss sagen, ich war beeindruckt! Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und das Personal war unglaublich höflich. Ich bestellte das Chicken Thali und es war perfekt zubereitet. Das Hühnchen war zart und saftig, und die Soße war voller Aromen. Es war nicht zu würzig und nicht zu mild, sondern genau richtig abgestimmt. Dazu gab es auch noch eine große Portion Reis, der perfekt gegart war. Aber nicht nur das Essen hat mich beeindruckt, sondern auch der Service. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie gaben mir einige Empfehlungen und waren immer bereit, meine Fragen zu beantworten. Sie waren aufmerksam und haben dafür gesorgt, dass mein Besuch so angenehm wie möglich verläuft. Das Ambiente des Restaurants war auch sehr schön. Die Einrichtung war modern und geschmackvoll gestaltet. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Die Musik im Hintergrund war angenehm und trug zu einer entspannten Atmosphäre bei.

Ich habe mich auf ein gutes, preiswertes indisches Mittagessen gefreut. 7,50 € für Vorsuppe und Hauptmahlzeit - wirklich preiswert. Die Vorsuppe war allerdings kalt, der zweite Gang (Gemüsebällchen) lieblos auf dem Teller angerichtet und komplett versalzen. Die Gemüsebällchen waren eine gru-braune undefinierbare Masse :( Beim letzten Besuch wurde mir ein abgestandener, alter und grässlich schmeckender Yogi-Tee serviert. Schade und nie wieder! Reine Touristen-Abzocke!

Ziemlich das schlechteste indische Essen seit Langem. Alles voll mit Fertigprodukten: Tütensuppe als Vorspeise, glibberiges fertiges Salatdressing und das Hähnchenfleisch war mit irgendwelchen Zusatzstoffen behandelt, dass es nicht mehr als Hähnchen erkennbar war.

Eines unserer liebsten Restaurants in der Stadt. Die Gerichte sind vielfältig, lecker und reichhaltig. Das Team ist überragend freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir freuen uns beim Abschied schon wieder auf das nächste Mal.

I went here for a quick dinner and i was surprised! Authentic true Indian flavours in this place without compromising to european standards when it comes to indian taste. It's a hidden gem place in Berlin. Prices are normal but worth much more then berlin's mechlein restaurants. I'll come back soon, fantastic indian food in berlin!✌️

Wir haben für 18 Personen bestellt. Blöd nur, dass sie die Kapazitäten gar nicht hatten. 20er Geburtstag. Ruiniert!! Wir wurden regelrecht ANGESCHRIEN beim bestellen. Ungeschultes, unfreundliches Personal. Kein Wohlfühlenort. Nicht zuempfehlen. Ps. Der Drink hat des hohen Preises nicht geschmeckt. Nie wieder! Am liebsten würde ich null Sterne geben!

Wir haben uns Essen liefern lassen und es war durchweg sehr gut! Nachdem ich in der Vergangenheit von Indischer Küche immer enttäuscht wurde hat mich dieses Restaurant voll und ganz überzeugt. Jederzeit gerne wieder!
