Chutnify Neukölln in Berlin

Very tasty food nice atmosphere recommended.

Ordered here for the first time today. The Palak Paneer is the best thing I have eaten in a long time. It tastes very fresh and really strongly of spinach, which is how it should be. Very fast delivery via Wolt. Everything is great!

I visited this last week their service is very good but the prices for food is little expensive as per the portion. I mean their mango lassi is way too expensive I myself work in a restaurant but have never seen such expensive mango lassi that too for only 0,3 besides that their service is really good

I ordered with Wolt. The palak paneer did not have any paneer in it. Literally not a single piece. It generally lacked flavor and I did not finish the food because it did not taste good.

Everything was very good. Staff is friendly. I would not sit next to the window in the winter as they are not fully sealed.

Food is nothing extraordinary but the service is very good. Cocktails were good we tried jaipur jewel and calcutta cooler. Thali had good options for chicken, lamb, vegetarian.

My favorite Indian restaurant in Berlin - and Indian is my favourite cuisine! Especially recommend the biryani and butter chicken (and we have tried many not so good butter chicken in Berlin). When I come back and try new things I am certain they'll also be excellent. Cocktails very well prepared too. Wonderful staff, especially Arshdeep Kaur and staff working with her (sorry didnt get their names but wonderful too), who went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience. She, and the rest of staff who prepared the wonderful meal will ensure I will come back again and again!

I recently visited Chutnify Neukölln and was deeply disappointed by the discriminatory behavior I encountered. As a Sikh individual wearing a turban, I was refused service without any valid explanation. This experience left me feeling humiliated and unwelcome. In today’s diverse society, it’s disheartening to face such prejudice. The turban is a significant symbol of faith, representing protection, community, and family. It’s essential for businesses to respect all cultural and religious expressions and ensure that all customers are treated with dignity and respect. I hope that Chutnify Neukölln takes immediate steps to address this issue, including staff training on cultural sensitivity, to prevent such incidents in the future. I urge potential patrons to be aware of this behavior and consider their dining choices accordingly.

Chutnify is decent, but not exceptional. The food was just okay, nothing extraordinary or particularly memorable. However, the service, atmosphere, and interior were very nice and cozy. I really appreciated the effort they put into representing Indian culture through the decor and vibe. It’s a pleasant spot if you’re looking for a cozy setting, but don’t go in expecting outstanding Indian cuisine. Still worth a visit for the ambiance and friendly service!

OMG! The food I ordered was really good. It was the Konju curry. Very good but it was way too much ghee in it. It caused a stomach ache for me. If they would cut down on the Oil/Ghee, it would have been a 10 out of 10. I also missed the freshness of coriander. I do realize that not every region cooks with it, it would have cut the heaviness of the curry to a minimal. Also, Would it be possible for you guys to offer aloo sag or sag aloo as we call it in the Uk? With coriander of course;)

1. Aloo Naanwich – Completely flavorless. We left it untouched. 2. Paneer Tikka Naanwich – This was made upon special request, as they serve it at their other outlets. However, it fell far short of the standards set elsewhere, though slightly more flavorful than the Aloo Naanwich. 3. Vegan Thali – A mix of Idli, Korma, Chhole (chickpeas), and curry. While this was the best of the three dishes, the flavor profile was unbalanced, attempting to combine elements of both South and North Indian cuisines in an awkward way. The service was poor and painfully slow. Some items from our order never arrived, and by the time they were missing, we were already at the end of our meal. Would I return? Not likely, at least not as my first choice.

Guys, this was my favourite Indian restaurant in Berlin but in recent times the quality of the food has seriously dropped. 3 times now I have been seemingly negatively affected by the food, ranging from post meal indigestion through to debilitating burning in my stomach and digestive tract... I have no way to directly connect what I ate with my symptoms, but after the third occurrence I'm growing seriously wary. I have eaten Indian food all my life, it's nothing to do with an inability to enjoy spicy food. None the less, considering the price you are paying, the food quality is no longer stand out or makes the price difference justifiable. Please Chutnify, I can imagine that given the stresses of the economy this makes the restaurant business even more difficult to survive, but please, go back to serving the high quality fresh food that we all loved in the past! For now I'm taking a time out. I hope to return to discover in the future things are back to the way they used to be. The Naan we received last night on a take out order was pitiful... one side overcooked and the other still close to dough.. My girlfriend and I have just decided no more, we will order someplace else in the future. All the best.

Great, I hope this place doesn’t change! I love Indian food and have been on the search for a very long while. I had found one place but sadly they had to close due to ventilation issues,I was so sad that I almost ordered one of everything. Always read mixed review on restaurants but try them anyway since they have a decent star count, just to be disappointed. Some places come close but always lack a few spices or completely off. On a side note, I always order a few dishes hoping one of them are real Indian, if you know what I mean. The prices are a bit too high and the Briyana was a bit too soggy but besides that the tastes of all the dishes were great. Think I found my go to spot.

Found this as a recommendation from the ex-Berliner website and was so happy to find them on Wolt. Ordered Telangana lamb, dal makani and chicken tikka and they were amazing! I asked for „extra spices“ as the Wolt remark so that may have made the difference but I’m definitely eating this again! Btw, good job on the packaging! Very sustainable!

Food is authentic and tasty but portion sizes leave a lot to be desired. We ordered takeaway via Wolt and both the butter chicken and the telanga lamb were disappointing in terms of how much meat was given, especially given the price. 3 pieces of chicken and a tub full of sauce, same with the lamb. It’s a shame as the food is really tasty but for €51 in total I would expect more meat in the dish.

Best Indian food in Berlin. Butter chicken gravy is very tasty and tasteful. The chicken is very tender and flavorful. 10/10 Highly recommended (it's a little spicy).

Never eaten such bad and unauthentic Indian food. We have traveled to India and eat both South and North Indian regularly. The dosa was a joke, the chutney completely tasteless and I wonder if they have ever eaten a real sambal. Pure robbery for the price as well. The reviews that are good here, can only be fake.

All allergens are marked on the online allergen menu. They have a good selection of gluten free items and I have not had a reaction as a celiac, but they do not have a dedicated gluten free kitchen. Service is great and the staff has been the same for years, which is a good sign for me because they are knowledgeable about ingredients and allergens.

Try the potatoes, I had high expectations and they were still shockingly good. Counting leftovers, I had their potatoes every day for a week and didn't get sick of them. Everything else is also good but seriously try the potatoes.

The dal makhni was tooooooo good. Exactly like what I would eat in Delhi. The naan and masala coke was great as well.

I've ordered there twice so far and it was very tasty. Unfortunately, my request for "less" spicy apparently wasn't taken into account.

This is a very nice place. Always good food and very friendly Service. There is clear labeling of gluten free food and it worked for me as a celiac already 3 times

Dosa is ok but sambhar is not good at all . Sambhar feels like mix of water and only masala . Also its very expensive as per its taste and quality. Not worth it . Also don’t ask for extra sambhar it will cost you 3.5 euro extra

Ordered for delivery. Food came well packed and warm. Prices are getting out of control, but the food at Chutnify is top. Tasty southern Indian style food. Much more unique than the 1mio other "Indian" places in Berlin with the same butter chicken and oily pakura. Love the Chilli cheese dosa and chicken biryani. The dal that is served on the side is spicy and delicious. 100% recommend, though it's a little pricey.

After a long time again and it's super good (it wasn't like that for a while). Vegan Thali, Masala Baingan, very different and well seasoned. Medhu vada - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, garlic naan and the heavenly chilli crunchy mushrooms Indian-Chinese 🙏!!! Nice service 😀

Had mysore masala dosa. It is the closest one to the original authentic dosa in berlin. Would have made it true authentic if served with peanut chutney. I would recommend this place for dosa lovers.

After living in London for a long time, we are always looking for a good/comparable Indian restaurant in Berlin. Chutnify has convinced us the most so far. The curries were delicious and had depth, the naan bread was fresh and crispy at the bottom as it should be, and the dosa was also really good. The only small criticism - I would have liked a little more choice and taste for the chutneys for the starter. We will be back!

Food there is Good but the service is not that great waiting time is too much after you have ordered the meal especially if you are Indian and It’s expensive too.

My recent Wolt delivery from Chutnify Neukölln has left me deeply disappointed and feeling unwell. I ordered their vegetable biryani, expecting a flavorful and satisfying meal, but unfortunately, what I received was far from satisfactory. Upon receiving the order, I noticed some leakage in the packaging, which immediately raised concerns about the handling of the food. Despite this, I decided to proceed with the meal. However, I was immediately disappointed. The rice was overcooked and lacked the aromatic spices that are characteristic of a well-prepared biryani. The vegetables were underwhelming in both flavor and texture, failing to elevate the dish to the level I had hoped for. Shortly after consuming the vegetable biryani, I began experiencing severe stomach discomfort. The sensation of burning and nausea left me feeling incredibly unwell, indicating a potential issue with the quality or hygiene of the ingredients used. As someone who enjoys Indian cuisine and frequently orders from Wolt, this experience was particularly disheartening. Chutnify Neukölln has always been one of my preferred restaurants, but this disappointing experience has made me reconsider ordering from them again. I hope that Chutnify Neukölln takes this feedback seriously and takes immediate steps to improve the quality and consistency of their vegetable biryani, especially for delivery orders. Customers should be able to enjoy their meals without fear of experiencing discomfort or illness. Until significant improvements are made, I cannot recommend ordering vegetable biryani from Chutnify Neukölln through Wolt to others seeking an authentic Indian dining experience.

We enjoyed the butter chicken and bengan masala. Both were very well seasoned and extremely tasty. Service was very polite, attentive and excellent. Will definitely be returning to try more dishes.

Absolutely delicious meals, the chicken really melts in your mouth. The service was really nice and quick! It was a bit quiet because there was no music and we were only one of two groups, but we might've just been too early. The restaurant does have a very cozy feel and I imagine it's fun to hang out and stay for cocktails after food.

This Indian restaurant is amazing, one of the most realistic places in Berlin, I've struggled to find a good Indian restaurant in the city but this is it.

They serve some yummy food! We enjoyed the pani puri , butter chicken and chicken tikka along with the tasty falooda dessert

This is my fave Indian in Neukölln. All the others seem the same and a bit bland. This place is expensive but closer to an Indian you might find in the uk. Thali is a good option.

The only proper Indian joint in the entire neighbourhood. As a yank who’s frequented many a curry gaff in various parts of the UK, this is the closest thing that reminds me of some banging Indian food abroad. Don’t even bother with other restaurants in the vicinity because they pale in comparison. Highly recommend the thali 🤤

Tolles kleines Restaurant mit fantastischem Essen und gutem Service. Wir sind öfter im Chutnify aber gestern habe wir das erste Mal einen Cocktail probiert. Etwas teurer aber dafür nicht mit diesem billigen Alcohol. Echt zu empfehlen. Die Dosa war mal wieder perfekt!!!

Wir saßen draußen, daher nur das Ambiente eines Bürgersteigs. Mein Fleisch vom Chicken Tikka war an allen Ecken schwarz angebrannt. Der Salat auf dem Teller war ohne Dressing und komplett ungewürzt. Das Brot war ebenso verbrannt wie das Fleisch. Die Dips zum Brot waren nichts besonderes. Nur der Preis war besonders. Eine teure Enttäuschung.

Sehr schmackhaftes Abendessen. Allerdings sehr teuer ohne Bio Qualität zu unterstützen. Für die kleinen Fleischportionen gepaart mit der Lage und der ganzen Aufmachung eher ein trauriges Bild. Positiv: die Blumen auf den Bierbänken. Prinzipiell freundliches Personal dennoch mit wenig Flexibilität für Extrawünsche. Für Kinder und Personen im Rollstuhl eher ungeeignet. Cocktail affine Menschen werden hier fündig. Lieferung nach Hause klingt nach einer willkommenen Alternative.

Super, unglaubliche original leckere südindische Küche! Lange nach einem indischen Restaurant gesucht in Berlin, endlich fündig. Genialer Service, super Karte die abwechslungsreich ist und von vegan bis Fleisch alles dabei. Genial.
