We had a wonderful evening at the Indian restaurant Rasas! We would particularly like to highlight the incredibly friendly and courteous waiter Hamza, who makes everyone laugh with his humor and charm: After paying, he made us very happy with a small gesture: my niece got an additional mango lassi and we were treated to a chai. Thank you, Hamza, for the warm service and personal touch! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We have dined at Rasas many times and have not yet given a review. It's time to praise the restaurant with its diverse menu and excellent Indian cuisine. Until next time ☺️

The dish had a perfect balance of spicy and savory flavors. The sauce was rich and creamy, complementing the tandoori chicken. The service was excellent and environment is very friendly and quick to check in on us. The food arrived hot and on time. However, I felt that the dish could have used a little more seasoning to elevate the overall taste.

Inspired by a television report, we went there with high expectations and were disappointed. Atmosphere was okay, the waitress was harassing. The food was mediocre - we had tandoori from the clay oven: once with duck, once with lamb and once with chicken, each marinated in colorful spice mixtures, each served on the typical tandoori bowl, underlaid with various pieces of steamed vegetables. The meat was very dry, the vegetables on the bottom were burnt, and the taste was not as balanced as we know from Indians. Conclusion: far too expensive for what is offered!

Very tasty food and very nice atmosphere

We had a lovely time here! The food was excellent and the waiter was very accommodating. As a small souvenir, we were able to take the clay pots in which the ice cream was served with us. We were very happy about that!

Very good food, also vegetarian and vegan, the service is always very friendly, even when there is a lot going on, it is cozy and stylishly furnished. And since there's no music playing, it's pleasantly quiet. The large terrace is on a quiet street overlooking a beautiful green square. I can highly recommend it!

An Indian/Pakistani restaurant, perhaps one of the best and most special in Berlin. Located in Charlottenburg in the Westend. The food is very tasty, the atmosphere is authentic and pleasant and the service is exemplary!! Totally worth a visit.

The best Indian in Berlin! Our family has been eating at Rasas for years, and every time the food is of very good quality and incredibly tasty. Eight of us recently stayed here for a birthday and, as always, everyone was extremely pleased. The service is great. The waiters are always very friendly, courteous and humorous. There was also a free drink as a surprise. All in all we had a great evening. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately I have to revise my previous review: NO alcohol is served here. This is what you need to know when planning a celebration! The service is really terrible! The bottle of water is simply pushed into your hand across the table. 🤦‍♀️ Really bad! You then had to open the bottle yourself! Drinks and food were simply placed somewhere on the table without being placed in a friendly manner. The ambience: Really nice. Service: Incredibly bad! Food: Average Conclusion: Used to be really good! Now: I would no longer recommend it to good friends. Too bad 😒

The food was really very tasty. Very well seasoned and enough to fill you up. The service was very friendly and responded to our requests. The waiter was also very entertaining because his good mood was very contagious. We'd love to come back.

Wonderful authentic Indian cuisine! The service is great and is happy to personally adjust the spiciness of each dish. Everything on the menu is delicious! The drink selection is also top notch, especially because the focus is on non-alcoholic drinks! Sitting both inside and outside is very comfortable and quiet!

I've been going here for a few years. It's super tasty, the service is also very good and totally accommodating. Today I had someone with me who doesn't really like Indian, but yes... he was also completely thrilled! So from starter to main course to dessert. Everything is just perfect! I always enjoy coming here.

Normally I never rate restaurants, but this service was so bad that I couldn't do anything else. I ordered Chicksn Curry Spicy. What was there that I still didn't get. All I know is that it didn't taste anything like chicken curry and it wasn't "spicy" at all, just sweet. I couldn't eat my food at all. I then called the restaurant to let them know. They simply accused me of never having eaten “authentic” chicken curry. They didn't come close to accommodating me, so I had to order from another Indian restaurant somewhere else. And it's just super annoying when you have to spend twice as much money on something like that.

We have been here several times for different occasions and it has always been delicious. I especially enjoyed the coconut soup. The dishes are served in different bowls, which makes it easy to share. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating. You sit very quietly and comfortably.

Unfortunately, alcohol is not served, which is sometimes a bit lacking. However, there is a wide range of alcohol-free alternatives.

You have to be careful with the spiciness of the dishes. Hot here really means very hot. If you don't want it so spicy, you should specify this when ordering.

Rasas, a top-class restaurant. In most Indian restaurants everything tastes kind of the same. Not in Rasas. All the dishes on the menu are excellent and very different. The spices, the spiciness are well measured, the variety of ingredients is extraordinary. A rare gem of this Rasa. It's not important to us that there are no alcoholic drinks there, because we come because of the wonderful cuisine. A clear recommendation from us. In addition, the service is 1A.

Food was okay, my parents' dishes weren't really what they expected, quite sour. No alcoholic drinks for “religious” reasons. I want to decide for myself when I drink wine and when I don't. The non-alcoholic wine tastes terrible! The sauces for the bathura were probably from the previous guest and had to be replaced. It's not basmati rice as described on the menu. However, the ambience is very nice! The service was excellent, no pleasant energy - rather slack and sloppy. We were there three years ago and everything was better. We won't come again, there are better Indians.

We have ordered samosas and paneer pakoras.Samosas was smelling badly.And we ordered two drinks ,and they forgot to give us . The atmosphere was also not good .waiters was taking in there language loudly.Very poor service .

We wanted to go out for something to eat before a concert at the Waldbühne. This restaurant appealed to us because, firstly, we like Indian food and secondly, because it had a lot of good reviews. This should be 100% true. We were there on an early afternoon in early July, the restaurant was still pretty empty but the service was 100% perfect. We received very friendly service and advice. The restaurant itself impresses with a very exotic yet authentic ambience. As starters we had various fried vegetables, as main courses we had chicken tandoori and chicken in red coconut curry. Incredibly delicious. As a dessert, a yogurt with cardamom rounded off the very good meal. For drinks we of course had mango lassi. All in all, we were super satisfied here, there's nothing to complain about, so I'm happy to give it five stars.

It was quite a busy day in the middle of the Euros and had a reservation because a couple of hours before the game when we got there, it was quiet but then people flooded in! My wife is a bit of an Indian food connoisseur so when she raved about the tandoori chicken I had to try a bite and OMG she was right. I got a salad which was so massive and delicious I had to share with the fam. Kids did the kofta and curry chicken and they were licking their fingers. Great restaurant! You have to have been here. Four of us ate here and were very positively impressed. Not only do we like the absolutely delicious food, but the service also stands out positively. Hamza in particular has put a lot of effort into it. We are happy to come back and are happy to have found a new local restaurant.

The food is okay, the service too. The fact that – this was not the case before – alcohol is no longer served, for religious reasons, as we were told, is “very special”. That's why points are deducted because I want to decide for myself whether I drink an alcoholic drink or not.

Unfortunately there was a small construction site in the restaurant that was a bit disturbing, so only 3 stars for the ambience

Used to be very tasty. Nowadays, portions are getting smaller and sauces are noticeably thinner, while prices are rising dramatically. Now it's almost outrageous. I ordered there fairly regularly until yesterday, but today I noticed that both of the drinks I ordered had expired (!!!!) for more than 2 months. That was the last time.

The smell of Indian cuisine greets you even outside the restaurant. There is an outdoor restaurant where you will be greeted at the door by staff in traditional clothing. You sit very comfortably at nice tables. The drinks are all offered without alcohol. The homemade lemonade is recommended. The menu leaves little to be desired. The richly spiced and yet so differently composed Indian cuisine is reflected very well in the restaurant's cuisine. In a group of five, we felt we were served very precisely, very friendly and quickly. My best recommendation for a special kind of restaurant visit.
