We had dinner at Wendl's this evening – we were absolutely thrilled. A wonderful, cozy atmosphere, incredibly good service, and very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious (truffle spaghettini, wild garlic risotto, blackcurrant mousse with salted caramel ice cream). I particularly like the fact that they offer several vegetarian dishes to choose from! We will definitely be back!

The room had a large balcony with a great view, was tidy and nice. It would have been a bit too small for us for longer stays, but there is a lounge downstairs with a TV and darts machine and the restaurant with bar. Despite the lack of staff, the landlord was very friendly and accommodating. All in all, highly recommended.

A beautiful 3 star hotel in Landsberg. The hotel is in a country house style, but still modern and very clean. The breakfast buffet was extensive and very lovingly prepared. Coffee of your choice is made fresh by the nice service ladies and brought to the table. We liked it very much. If we are in the area, we will definitely come back again.

The Hotel zum Riesen in Miltenberg definitely has charm, but there are a few things you should know before you book. The rooms are quite small and the furnishings are rather spartan. Anyone expecting a lot of space or luxury will probably be disappointed here. The bathroom appears to be from the 70s and could do with a renovation. Unfortunately we didn't have any warm water in the morning, which was a bit unpleasant. However, the location of the hotel is unbeatable. Located in the middle of the old town of Miltenberg, it is the perfect starting point for exploring the city. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Conclusion: If you are looking for a simple hotel in a central location and don't have high expectations, you can have a good time at the Hotel zum Riesen. However, if you value comfort and modern amenities, you may want to look for an alternative.

Very dated hotel. But clean, spacious rooms and excellent value for money

We went on a short city trip and were very happy with our choice of hotel. The location is great - just 10 minutes walk to the old town. There are many good restaurants in the area, so we didn't even have to move the car during our stay. A big plus point: There is free parking directly at the hotel, which was extremely helpful. The breakfast was also very good. We would particularly like to highlight the friendly and courteous staff - high praise and many thanks! The internet was also excellent throughout the house - strong reception and a fast connection. We plan to visit Coburg again and will definitely stay at this hotel again! A small point of criticism concerns the beds: although they were comfortable and clean, we had specifically booked a room with a double bed. Instead there were two single beds pushed together. Unfortunately, the resulting gap between the mattresses was a bit annoying.

A beautiful, quiet guesthouse; the Urhmann family owners are friendly and helpful. You get the Bad Hinderlang Plus adventure card, which also serves as a ski pass. The food is delicious. Everything is top-notch.

Own parking space in the rear area with the “old cellar” entrance Which is very advantageous if you are traveling in the city center. Nine euros per day fee. That's really fine. The rooms are quite nice and moderate. The breakfast was very good and the service is excellent. We felt very comfortable.

The accommodation “Zum goldenen Anker” is located in the middle of the beautiful old town center of Coburg. The hotel is perfectly located and has a garage and a few outdoor parking spaces. Otherwise there are no parking options in the surrounding area. The staff/owners are super friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and large. The breakfast was excellent. There is even the opportunity to freshly squeeze oranges and have omelettes or fried eggs made. Due to the very winding design, you can quickly get lost. We felt very comfortable these days.

The rooms are all newly renovated, the breakfast is really delicious and there is something for everyone! We keep coming back!

By far the worst hotel after 20 years of attending 15 trade fairs every year across Germany. For over 100 euros a night, I got a room that was more like a bathroom with a bed. No chair, no table, the toilet in the hallway one floor below, not even a cup for my toothbrush. There wasn't even a curtain over the small window, so your head was directly under it, exposed to daylight from 6 a.m. onwards. Of course, there was no refrigerator; the supposed restaurant was closed. If you get a bottle of beer from reception, you pay 4.90 euros for it.
