We were at the rabbit festival for 10 minutes. I'm a bit disappointed that there was so much advertising and yet there weren't any interesting things for small children.
We spontaneously visited the camper place and tested the kitchen here. The food was very tasty, the service was extremely friendly.
We will definitely come back and recommend this fine place and the kitchen.
Kind regards from Dresden.
The accommodation “Zum goldenen Anker” is located in the middle of the beautiful old town center of Coburg. The hotel is perfectly located and has a garage and a few outdoor parking spaces. Otherwise there are no parking options in the surrounding area. The staff/owners are super friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and large. The breakfast was excellent. There is even the opportunity to freshly squeeze oranges and have omelettes or fried eggs made. Due to the very winding design, you can quickly get lost. We felt very comfortable these days.
large room but very small, insufficient light on the ceiling.
defective bed light
TV defective but was replaced immediately.
defective infrared heating of the bathroom
toilet seat not fixed
We have been regular customers for years, always book from one year to the next, really nice staff.
Standing here today.
The hotel is closed!
Unbearable!
Without any information to us, we are now on the street, thank you very much...
By far the worst hotel after 20 years of attending 15 trade fairs every year across Germany. For over 100 euros a night, I got a room that was more like a bathroom with a bed. No chair, no table, the toilet in the hallway one floor below, not even a cup for my toothbrush. There wasn't even a curtain over the small window, so your head was directly under it, exposed to daylight from 6 a.m. onwards. Of course, there was no refrigerator; the supposed restaurant was closed. If you get a bottle of beer from reception, you pay 4.90 euros for it.
