Our annual Isetta meeting took us to Oldenburg this year. The Hotel Ripken, with its great area behind the hotel, was the hub of our beautiful and popular event. The hotel offers very nice rooms and is a family business where 3 generations work hand in hand. The constant friendliness and willingness to help, the extremely tasty food and the cozy atmosphere made all participants feel extremely comfortable. I've already mentioned the delicious food - but I would also like to emphasize that the kitchen actually managed to set up a buffet (or should I say "on wheels"), so that within 10 minutes max. all 240 Participants sat contentedly in front of filled plates. And all of this with absolutely great quality. At this point a big compliment to the chefs. The absolute highlight awaited us on the last day, when the hotel treated us to the finest dessert buffet. First the large hall was darkened and before we could even wonder, a huge dessert buffet - illuminated with the most beautiful colors - was pushed into the hall to the sounds of “Conquest of pardise” by Vangelis. We felt like we were on the “dream ship” and thanked them with thunderous applause. Dear Ripken family: once again our heartfelt thanks for everything. You have set the bar incredibly high for our meeting next year. I will definitely come back and can only warmly recommend your house.

We were visiting friends for a weekend and drove our motorhome to another place in Hatten, which turned out to be a disaster. We spontaneously moved to the Ripken parking space. Very friendly on the phone, the reception was absolutely lovely! A cheap, very clean motorhome parking space. The sanitary building was super clean! We stood there for free because we ate in the restaurant in the evening. If you don't find anything on the map, it's your own fault. Even vegetarian and vegan selections and very tasty!! Operation, service, everything was very friendly! The place is saved and we will definitely be happy to come back!! Thanks!

Quietly located. Good service!!!!

I can only recommend the restaurant, having been there with a large group and as a couple with my wife. What should be highlighted is the friendly, unobtrusive and quick service from the staff. Here hunger is fought with quality.

The hotel is very nice and the breakfast is delicious. However, there is a problem with mosquitoes disturbing sleep. It would be desirable if measures were taken to correct this problem.

We had booked 2 single rooms for the weekend for the Isetta meeting 2024. Unfortunately, our towing vehicle suffered engine failure on the way there and we had to cancel both rooms at the last minute. First of all, the phone call with the reception was super friendly and we were called back very promptly. The management then informed us that there would be no costs for the cancellation. I find that very accommodating and for this reason alone the hotel would have earned 10 stars. We will definitely visit this hotel at a later date. Thanks again

We celebrated our wedding at the Hotel Ripken and slept there together with a few of our guests. We really enjoyed our celebration, it may sound cheesy but for us it was actually the most beautiful day of our lives and the hotel team played a big part in it. Our guests also highly praised the food, service and ambience. During the meal, the different dishes were mentioned as being particularly good. Due to the large selection, we couldn't try everything ourselves, but what we did try was very tasty. A highlight was the arrival of the buffet, which created a “wow moment”. But apart from that there was nothing wrong with the service, not only at the wedding reception itself, but also at breakfast the next morning, as well as during arrival and departure. We certainly won't get married a second time, but we'll definitely eat there one or two times. We can definitely recommend the wedding location with a clear conscience.

Went to the grill buffet with 4 people and no one was really satisfied. Unfortunately the price/performance doesn't match. Nothing was available fresh from the grill, only via warming containers. As a result, none of the food was crispy, everything was too cooked and not really hot. The salads were clear and at the normal "housewife" level. It was ok but nothing to make me come back again

We were there for the grill buffet. Very tasty and nice selection (a little more choice of salad would have been nice, but it was enough). Price was great.

Located right on a main street. Difficult to get a parking space. Grill buffet was quickly cleared away. The selection of meat at the grill buffet was quite okay. Side dishes such as salads were disappointing.

Was here at a wedding. I liked the house. Friendly staff.

Solid German restaurant with an expected menu. Friendly service and good quality food. Despite modern furnishings, the restaurant is mostly frequented by the more mature youth.

I was really excited...we went to the barbecue evening with 8 people. The food was so delicious 😋 We also stayed there...The rooms are very clean. The breakfast was rich. The waitresses are all nice and considerate...great 👍👍👍🙂

We were there with a larger group and they were prepared for us and well prepared. The food and drinks are delicious, the staff is on point and friendly, the rooms are completely fine and very clean. It's still a few meters to the city center. I can happily recommend the store!

We had our wedding reception in the Ripken, Our wishes were always taken into account, the staff and managers are super nice and accommodating. The wedding hall is great! The wedding garden is great! The food was great!!! We were just very satisfied all around! We would like to thank you again!

Pieces of cake a little small (apple crumble with cream). The base of the piece of cake (with strawberries) was too hard. Rooms were great. Dinner too. Therefore only 3 stars overall.

We went to the restaurant for dinner. My husband ordered the brawn with fried potatoes to satisfy his hunger. We should share the portion of fried potatoes that came and if there isn't enough we can get more. But the portions were more than sufficient, so we didn't have to go back on the offer. We'd love to come back.

We were there in a motorhome, so I can't say anything about the rooms. Everything else about cleanliness, ambience, food, friendliness and helpfulness was top. We'd love to come back.

While looking for a business hotel, I came across the Hotel Ripken. To put it briefly: uncomplicated booking, warm welcome, good and clean room, very good food in the restaurant, delicious breakfast in the morning and a very accommodating check-out. That's how hotels work! Thank you!

We found this motorhome parking space at the Hotel Ripken while passing through and took advantage of the obligatory stop at the restaurant to fortify ourselves. Food was very tasty, service in the restaurant was very good. Met a very nice senior manager who drives a motorhome herself. Good, wide parking spaces in the side paved and illuminated parking area on the street, which is quiet at night. Toilet and shower available in a separate building on site. Everything very clean. V+E available, could be a little more generous and fresh water didn't come in the amount indicated (but we have a water filter upstream), but it's nice that it exists at all. All in all, highly recommended, not just for transit.

Kohlfahrt gehabt: Essen war ganz gut, aber den DJ würde ich raus schmeißen! Viel zu laute, mit viel zu vielen Bässen und nicht angepasster Musik für so eine Gesellschaft! Man mußte sich anschreien, und hat trotzdem nichts verstanden! No go forever!

Ein super Stellplatz, sauber Sanitäranlagen und leckeres Essen im Restaurant. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Eis Gasthof wie man sich ihn wünscht. Nettes Personal, leckeres Essen und leckeres Bier. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber, ich komme gerne wieder.

Weihnachtsfeier am 24.11.2023 in einem nicht weihnachtlichen (kalten) Saal. Das Essen, die Gänsekeule war nicht kross sondern laberig serviert worden. Der gerreichte Rosenkohl war ungenießbar. Selbstgemachter Wildschweinbraten sowie die Gänsekeule waren gerade mal von der Bewertung her ausreichend.

Etwas außerhalb von Oldenburg gelegen, aber gut erreichbar. Gutes Essen, gute Location für Hochzeiten und Grünkohl-Touren, sowie Wildbuffet etc.

Vi holder her jævnligt i autocamperen. Og så går vi ind i restauranten og spiser lækker mad.

Grandioses Essen. Wir waren heute zum Wild- und Geflügelbuffet da. Klasse Auswahl, super lecker und wie immer nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Immer einen Besuch Wert.

Ich bin beruflich hier und muss sagen: ein tolles Hotel!!! Das Frühstück ist klasse und absolut für jeden etwas dabei.Sogar frische Brötchen vom Bäcker und keine aufgebackenen Gummibrötchen wie in den meisten Hotels heute.Das Restaurant ist auch sehr zu empfehlen...ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt und komme sehr gerne wieder! die kommenden Geschäftsreisen sind hier schon gebucht.....

Schönes Lokal das zum feiern einlädt, gutes Essen und toller Service. Es gibt zwei sehr schöne Säle, die für unterschiedliche Gästezahlen passend sind.

Klasse Grünkohl, toller Service und gutes Ambiente. Essen auch zum Mitnehmen.

Sehr schönes und nettes Restaurant und Hotel

Wir haben am 3.11.23 unsere Hochzeit hier gefeiert, es hat alles ohne Probleme geklappt. Vom ersten Gespräch an ,haben wir ums Wohl gefühlt, es wurden alle von uns gestellten Wünsche erfüllt und umgesetzt, Super Service, saubere Zimmer, super Essen. Wir können es nur weiter empfehlen und werden weiterhin zum Essen kommen.

Wir 2 waren mittags zum Wildbuffet angemeldet. Das Buffet hatte eine reichhaltige Auswahl, war jederzeit heiß und zudem sehr lecker. Erwähnenswert war der sehr, sehr gute Service. Sehr empfehlenswert und ... bis nächstes Jahr. DANKE !!

Wir haben Ende Oktober unsere Hochzeit bei Ripken gefeiert. Es waren alle sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch die Torte wurde total klasse präsentiert. Die Vorgespräche verliefen sehr gut, man kann hier super kommunizieren und Wünsche äußern. Der Service war sehr freundlich und immer hinterher, damit alle Gäste schnellstmöglich ihre Getränke bekommen. Auch die Zimmer waren sauber und schön. Besonders von Vorteil war die Nähe zum Saal, sodass man sich immer wieder auf Zimmer frisch machen konnte. Für Feiern ist Ripken nur zu empfehlen.

Wir waren zum Essen dort,ein sehr schönes u.gemütliches Restaurant,nettes Personal und das Essen sehr lecker,wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ripken war schon mal besser.... bezüglich des Frühstücksbuffet, das könnt ihr besser... Das Mittag-Abendessen ist sehr lecker... Das Personal ist sehr freundlich..

Wir waren mit dem Wohnmobil und standen eine Nacht. Anreise, Tisch bekommen und Lecker gegessen. Alles unkompliziert und entspannt. Sehr aufmerksames und nettes Personal! Als Zwischenstopp immer wieder zu empfehlen.

Waren 1 Woche in den Ferien dort. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Zimmer, Service und Personal waren sehr freundlich. Essen war klasse und das Früstücksbuffet war super. Jede Zeit wieder.

Parfait par contre beaucoup de couloirs et escaliers on s y perd! Seul beol Les lits simples sont peu large tout come la couette. Vous aurez une grande bouteille d eau gazeuse en chambre. Le restaurant succulant. Je conseille la specialite N°57 sur la carte en anglais

Alteingesessenes Hotel und Restaurant vor den Toren von Oldenburg. Nette und sehr aufmerksame Bedienung, Getränkewünsche schnell notiert und gebracht. Die Speisekarte ist recht umfangreich und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas auf gutem Niveau an, professionelle aber nicht herausragende Küche - ländlich gut eben. Die Preise nach Corona leider nachvollziehbar wie fast überall angehoben. Früher gab es ein recht umfangreiches Salatbuffet, dieses wurde komplett aufgegeben - sehr schade! Die Sülze mit Remoulade und Bratkartoffeln lecker. Getränkekarte recht umfangreich. Hinweis: Fünf Sterne gibt es bei mir nur für ein außergewöhnliches Ambiente und Essen auf sehr hohem Niveau. Das fehlt bei einem größeren Hotel mit Restaurant im Niemandsland natürlich.

Wenn in der Werbung steht, Grillbuffet mit dem Smoker und gleich drunter Aus dem Smoker. Das letzte sogar unterstrichen. Ich erwarte das die Gerichte AUS dem Smoker kommen wenn es schon so beworben wird. . Leider stand der Smoker nur zur Zierde im Garten und gleich daneben wurde auf einen normalen Grill Fleisch gegrillt. Als ich das Bild vom Smoker machte sah ich beim vergrößern das nichts süß dem Schornstein kam. Das Pulled Pork hatte überhaupt kein Raucharoma und die Sparribs auch nicht. Vermutlich kam alles aus dem Ofen/Combi Dämpfer. Sehr sehr enttäuscht war es für uns, als echte Smoker Fans. Wir fühlten uns Veras....! Bitte vorher nachfragen ob es wirklich aus dem Smoker kommt wenn ihr es selber mal ausprobieren wollt.

Bin regelmäßig im Hotel Ripken. Wurde noch nie enttäuscht . Alles immer sauber . Sehr nette Mitarbeiter . Zimmer sind alle auf einem aktuellen , renovierten Stand . Abendessen und Frühstück sind immer super . Preis Leitung ist top

Nette Bedienung, Getränke kamen umgehend. Der Grauburgunder für 6,20€/0,2 allerdings für die ausgeschenkte Qualität deutlich zu teuer. Das 0,5 l Fachinger mit 4,50€ ebenfalls vom Preis schon etwas grenzwertig. Warum sind derartige Getränke in D eigentlich so (unverschämt) teuer? Der Leberkäse mit Bratkartoffeln für 11,90€ in Ordnung. Die Kartoffeln hätten aber noch einige Minuten länger in der Pfanne verbringen dürfen, oder auch schon vorgebraten aus der Tüte? Das Kürbiscremesüppchen war geschmacklich sehr gut. Insgesamt sollte sich die Küche etwas mehr anstrengen, um dass Niveau der Vergangenheit zu halten oder zu verbessern. Wir waren insgesamt nicht enttäuscht, es ist aber noch Luft nach oben auszuschöpfen! Strengt Euch an!!!

Eine sehr schöne Hotelanlage mit geräumigen Zimmern. Das Restaurant ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Sehr schmackhafte Gerichte. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich.

Freundlicher Service, saubere, moderne Zimmer und gutes, bodenständiges Essen im Restaurant. Zimmer haben z.T. einen enorme Wegstrecke.

Het hotel is netjes en ziet er verzorgd uit. Duitse gezelligheid en de kamers zijn verassend modern en schoon. Douche is heel fijn en gelijk op temperatuur. Bedden liggen prima. Alles ruikt heel fris. Ruime kamers nr 28 & 29. Rustig en geen geluidsoverlast. Ontbijt was goed verzorgd, simpel maar doeltreffend. Personeel is vriendelijk.

War wieder einmal ein paar Tage zu Gast. Wurde wie immer freundlich bewirtet und versorgt. Freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal.
