Because we miss the Vienna Woods so much, we came to Munich by train. You can get very close here with the S-Bahn. It was wonderful to finally be able to eat in a “Wienerwald” again. It brought back a lot of memories, the food was wonderful, the nice and hard-working staff did everything right! If everything stays like this, we will definitely come back! 100% recommended!

The food at Hendl Glück was really tasty and freshly prepared! The chicken in particular was excellent – ​​juicy, crispy and perfectly seasoned. You can tell that a lot of emphasis is placed on quality here. The side dishes, especially the fries and the potato salad, were also very good and came fresh to the plate. The service was friendly and attentive, but there was a small point deduction because the wait for the food was a little longer than expected, even though it wasn't overly busy. But that didn't affect the quality of the food, and the staff tried to make the guests' stay as pleasant as possible. The atmosphere is cozy, although quite simple. It invites you to enjoy a relaxed meal without a lot of frills. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. Overall, a great restaurant for anyone who likes really good chicken. With slightly shorter waiting times or a small optimization in the service, it would easily be a 5-star experience. Nevertheless, absolutely recommended, and we would be happy to come back if we feel like a good chicken!

First the good news. The shop is really clean, it is constantly being swept and the tables are all cleared and, above all, clean. I did a little test. How do the men behind the counter react when you order without a computer? They were simply overwhelmed by the fact. What was really bad, however, was the food, the hot wings menu. The fries were soggy and the largest hot wing was not cooked through, but still absolutely glassy on the bone, and that is an absolute no-go for poultry.
