Hendlglück - München in München

Very nicely renovated restaurant, lots of space, cozy, clean. There were six of us there. 6 nuggets absolutely great, chicken very good, wraps quite OK, salad borderline (but let's be honest: who eats a salad here? It's their own fault). What impressed me: the waitress asked attentively and competently three times what wasn't so great about the salad and even offered a free coffee. Respect!

We've eaten here several times and are usually always satisfied. But this time it was absolutely catastrophic. I ordered the chicken plate XL, I returned half the chicken and it smelled so strange. According to the waitress, you have already sold a lot of chicken today and had no complaints. I then received a new one that was fresh. The salad I ordered was also a disaster , neither coleslaw nor potato salad in it like always. The answer from the waiter was that the kitchen is changing the staff. Please change that otherwise it would be the last time we ate here.

Ordering a fried chicken online and picking it up yourself didn't work due to WiFi problems. The boss's wife (?) responded very professionally and friendly. I was treated to a beer while I waited about 20 minutes. This really doesn't happen often these days and is therefore remarkable for me and reason enough to write this positive review.

The food was good. However, I had duck, and there was 1 dumpling the size of a table tennis ball - the second table tennis ball cost a whopping €4.20. Maybe you just have to eat chicken with fries, but no dumplings!!! The service was very nice!

I went to Hendlglück on Anzinger Straße for the first time 15 years ago. I am very satisfied with the service and the friendliness of the employees. But what has always stood out for me over the years is that the quality of the food has never decreased. I always knew what to expect and was never disappointed. Of course there are places with more interesting and higher quality food, but here I have always found that you get very good service for your money.

I've been looking for a really tasty and crispy chicken for a long time and finally found it here!! In addition, the service is super friendly and the restaurant is inviting and comfortably furnished!

Well, I have to say that I was at Hendlglück Anzinger Str. for the first time today. Simply impressive, I have rarely eaten such good garlic chicken. I was with a friend. It was a nice evening. There's really nothing negative to say.. Great atmosphere, super nice staff. And the food on offer is really great... One thing is certain, I will come back. And then of course in the beer garden...

Just fell into this place by chance. Extremely beautiful restaurant with a beer garden as you would imagine in Munich. At first I thought there was only chicken stuff there, but that was far from the case. After a cream-chanterelle soup, as an Austrian I was tempted to eat a schnitzel with chanterelle sauce and spaetzle for the very first time. As an Austrian, I am of the opinion that schnitzel and sauce (dunk) is not possible, but I was taught otherwise. Since the sauce was not poured over the schnitzel, which was made from veal, and the sauce could easily be mixed with the spaetzle scraped from the board, the breading of the schnitzel was not softened either. All in all, a tasty treat for the palate at a really fair price. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant, even though I unfortunately can't visit it any more quickly due to the distance!

This was by far the best chicken I have eaten in Munich so far. The potato salad was also super tasty! The service was hard to beat in terms of friendliness. We loved it and will definitely come back!

This restaurant was great! We had the soup of the day to start, the garlic chicken and herbs chicken, so tender and everything so good. I really recommend it. For dessert we had chocolate cake and some other local sweets. You can have beer, wine and many other drinks. The place is also pet friendly, making it easy for dog owners.

Spontaneous visit that really impressed us, so we will be coming back here soon! The chicken is fresh and juicy, highly recommended! Likewise the salads and the house wine are tasty! The service was quick and perfect, extremely pleasant and friendly! We felt very comfortable!

Delicious, juicy grilled chicken with crispy fries and a mixed salad - even after over 50 years, I'm always drawn to the place of my childhood. It's a shame that word hasn't gotten around yet about the fine food, the newly designed ambience (including the sanitary area) and the friendly, fast service. The restaurant deserves more love - we love coming here!

After a long time my path led me again to Hendlglück, Anzinger Straße. I was surprised by the new and tasteful furnishings. No comparison to before. Food and drinks were served very friendly. In which restaurant can you order a burger without fries - here. Great! Oh yes, the burger tasted good too. Come back!

A beautiful restaurant. The waiter is very friendly and we even got some of the delicious sauce again 👍😋. The chicken pop corn was a bit dry... but they are also small 😉. The toilet is also very clean and everything was available (paper, soap). It was definitely worth the spontaneous visit 😊.

After a long time I have the Vienna Woods again, which is now called Hendlglück. I really liked the restaurant. I liked the chicken. The service was very friendly and accommodating. I wasn't expecting anything special and was pleasantly surprised.

Today we ate at Hendl Glück again after a long time. The food tasted delicious and I can only recommend the Barbecue Handel, the Kaiserschmarrn was also great. Nice service and a very nice ambience after the renovation. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

The former Vienna Woods has become pretty. It is very cozy and comfortable with the padded small armchairs. The service is first-class, because small special requests (allergy sufferers) are listened to and fulfilled without any complaints or extra charges. The food is plentiful and inexpensive. It's good home cooking. Viennese veal schnitzel with fried potatoes and a mixed salad on the side (plenty) for €19.90. you get full and it tastes good. Parking close to the restaurant is possible, but it's a matter of luck.

Wir haben heute ein Backhendl abgeholt und uns sehr geärgert. Telefonisch hat mein Mann 2 halbe Backhendl zum abholen bestellt. Beim Essen merkten wir, dass es nur die knochigen Teile waren. Nicht bei einem einzigen Stück war viel Fleisch dran. 24 Euro für panierte Knochenteile finde ich sehr überteuert. Mein Mann hatte danach noch so Hunger und hat sich eine belegte Semmel gemacht. Grillhendl war immer gut aber das Backhendl war heute echt eine Frechheit. Nie wieder!

Das Essen war wie auch schon früher richtig gut und auch die Preise waren nicht erhöht. Das Ambiente hat uns ( 4 erwachsene Personen) sehr gut gefallen, sie haben es sehr geschmackvoll umgebaut. Der Service war hervorragend, alles war zu unserer Zufriedenheit.

Abgesehen davon, dass die Qualität in der Anzinger Straße 2 stark nachgelassen hat, wurde unser Lieblingskellner nach fast 30 Jahren gekündigt. Wir alle werden das Lokal nicht mehr besuchen.

Wirklich tolles Grillhendl und auch die Pommes oder Country Potatoes kann man gut bestellen. Meist bestelle ich dort oder hole es selbst ab, deshalb kann ich innen nicht bewerten. Leider geht bei den Lieferungen öfter etwas schief, deshalb hole ich jetzt eher selbst ab. Das Essen ist aber toll und die Mitarbeiter sind auch sehr freundlich und schnell :) Gerne jederzeit wieder.

Zum ersten Mal seit dem Umbau dort gewesen. Schönes Lokal, ganz anders als vorher beim Wienerwald. Leider hat der Chef wohl keinen Bock auf Gastro, alles, was man vorher geliebt hat (wechselnde Monatskarte mit auch mal etwas ausgefalleneren Sachen und gekochten Gerichten, Salatbuffet usw.) hat er abgeschafft. Macht ja Arbeit. Einfach ein Stück Fleisch auf den Grill ist natürlich einfacher. Immerhin gibt es noch die beliebtesten Hähnchengerichte und die zahlreichen Beilagen von früher. So war der Grillteller dann doch sehr lecker und eine reichliche Portion. Außerdem wurden die Toiletten endlich saniert, so kommt das ganze Lokal jetzt in freundlichem, sauberem und modernem Ambiente daher.

Ich bin eigentlich ein riesen Fan europäischer Fastfood Marken und ich liebte einst Wienerwald aaaber leider ist Hendlglück nicht sehr gelungen. Überteuertes essen, unfreundliche bedienungen und viel zu Laut im Restaurant. Sehr schade

Exceptional half chicken. (Like seriusly really well cocked) The breast was juicy and with a crust while the drum was also juicy. (Normaly the drum gets dry as shops over cook it)

Einen Besuch Wert! (Oder auch mehrere) Wir waren gestern dort um was zu Essen und sich wieder mal ordentlich die Rüstung zu verbiegen. Das Essen schmeckte super (Ente ist sehr empfehlenswert) und das Bier umso besser. Wenn es dann noch so charmant, begleitet von so lustigen Witzen, vom Kellner serviert wird, könnte der Abend nicht besser gewesen sein. Danke Mark - bis zum nächsten Mal!

Das Restaurant wurde komplett renoviert und man kann gleich das Wohlgefühl und die tolle Atmosphäre spüren. Einfach gesagt man fühlt sich absolut willkommen zu sein. Ich habe eine halbe Ente gegessen und meine Frau den halbes Grillhendl. Da muss ich ehrlich sagen, ich besuche sehr gerne Restaurants in der Stadt München, habe aber noch nirgendwo so gute Ente gegessen wie im HendlGlück. Frisch vom Grill zu wie es gehört. Ich freue mich im Winter die andere Spezialitäten zu probieren und nebenbei einen Glühwein zu genießen. Immer wieder gerne!!! Absolute 5 von 5!

Meine Freunde und ich haben hier einen mega coolen Abend verbracht. Das Essen war richtig lecker! Das allerbeste am gesamten Abend war der sympathische und lustige Kellner! Alleine wegen ihm wars schon Wert den Abend dort verbracht zu haben!

Hier sind nicht nur die Hendl glücklich. Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft und sehr preiswert. Der Kellner (ich glaube Marc war sein Name) ist extrem zuvorkommend, bringt viel Humor mit und man merkt einfach dass er seinen Job gerne macht. Danke für diesen unvergesslichen schönen Abend, den wir sehr genießen konnten. Wir kommen wieder!

Im Lokalnamen „HendlGlück“ steht eigentlich schon alles drin. Das Essen war hervorragend und ich komme definitiv noch einige Male. Will auf jeden Fall die Speisekarte übern Winter durch haben :) vom Ambiente bis hin zum Service war eigentlich alles perfekt. Besonders ein Kellner hat mir sehr gut gefallen, guter Humor und man hat auf jeden Fall was zu lachen. Der Service war echt schnell, man hatte das Gefühl, der Kellner ist ein Oktopus mit 8 Armen, so schnell kann man gar nicht schauen :) Auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen Mark😉

Es ist komplett neu eingerichtet. Ich fand die Atmosphäre sehr angenehm modern. Ich habe Süsskartoffeln gegessen, alles wie es sein soll, wirklich lecker!

Ziemlich chaotisch, lange Wartezeit aufs Essen, ständig lauter Ärger am Imbiss. Das Essen selbst war ok, aber auch nichts besonderes. Ich sehe keinen Grund, nochmal wiederzukommen.

The food here is decent and the price is relatively cheap. The place have so many tables, my favorite was the ones outside in the good weather. There's one issue, the waiter. The first time I was here I was satisfied with the service, I had Erika as the waitress but the last 2 times it was not so pleasant, a grumpy guy. Hopefully they could improve the service.
