It was just great! We were greeted very friendly and shown to the table. The rooms are very rustic and you feel like you are in Greece. A good selection of drinks and food on the menu. The dishes we ate were generous in portion size and also very tasty. The selection of fish and meat were great. Thanks for the food and drinks, keep it up!

Tried to get a table for 2 people at short notice, which wasn't a problem. The service was really good and the food came quickly and was also very tasty. The prices are also appropriate. The plates are nice and big and well filled, so you'll definitely be full. We'd love to come back.

Completely satisfied. The food is the best Greek food outside of Greece that I've eaten. Freshly prepared, perfectly seasoned. The service and the waiters are not intrusive, but attentive. The price/performance ratio is really good. Simply a 10/10.

Delicious food and friendly staff

Aus Ilmenau, von einer Veranstaltung kommen und in Richtung Rudolstadt fahrend, wollten wir auf der Weiterfahrt in einer gastronomischen Einrichtung zum Abendessen einkehren. Dabei fiel uns in Gehren das Restaurant Kreta ins Auge! Spontan und kurzfristig ohne Vorreservierung besuchten wir 4 Personen diese Lokalität. Sehr beeindruckt waren wir von dem modernen Ambiente, der Gastfreundschaft des "Chefs" und des gesamten Team's sowie der Vielfalt und Qualität des Speise-Angebots. Wir können diese Einrichtung nur weiterempfehlen und werden nach dem erstmaligen Besuch auch gerne wiederkommen. -DANKE-

The food was rich, but unfortunately the Mediterranean spices were missing!!! When I asked the staff, I got the answer that you would have to ask the boss! Unfortunately, I didn't get the answer!!! What a shame!!!;

We were warmly welcomed and courteously served. It wasn't crowded in the middle of the week. Unfortunately we didn't like the side dishes at all, due to the strange spices and lack of garlic. The main courses were very good. It wasn't too cheap either.

We highly recommend this Greek restaurant! Super tasty food, allergies were addressed immediately. The staff was super friendly and attentive! The location is also great, right in the castle.

A very nice restaurant with a Greek flair. The menu is extensive. The staff is friendly, efficient, and attentive. Requests for changes to the menu are easily accommodated. I really liked the fact that there's an elevator. For me, having had knee surgery, this was a huge plus.

Food great! But 6 euros for 0.4 liters of beer will soon be a disgrace. Nothing justifies such steep prices anymore!! Children's menu 10 euros for 3 chicken nuggets and 5 fries. However, loading still seems to be running. However, we normal citizens don't come anymore. Very unfortunate.
