Very nice atmosphere, super nice and very friendly waiters. Food also arrived quite quickly...everything was perfect...highly recommended!

Absolutely delicious!! So fresh! We had the meatballs and lamb chops. Amazing!! The beans and zucchini fritters delicious as was the sausage dish. As for the desserts, they were amazing!!! Do not miss this fabulous Greek restaurant in Eisenach. Felt like I was in Greece!!!

A truly authentic Greek restaurant. The staff is super friendly, but the best part is the typical Greek food. I had the best lamb shank I've ever eaten. It's great value for money. I'd be happy to go back whenever I'm in Eisenach.

Tonight, I went to Delphi spontaneously and without a reservation. I got one of the last seats. And the food was excellent. The service was super attentive and friendly. And even though the restaurant was packed, I received my food without having to wait. I'm thrilled. It doesn't get any better than this. Well, with one caveat... Krombacher on tap 🙄 As if there weren't a better picture of the area...

We were in Eisenach for a few days and visited the Greek restaurant Delphi. Luckily, a table had just become available. The service and food were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. One positive thing to note is that the dishes are not overly seasoned but rather very pleasant in flavor. A reservation is advisable, as the restaurant is quite popular, and rightly so.

Simply perfect 👍 In 20 years in Germany, I've never eaten such authentic Greek food. Everything was just like at home. The service was friendly, fast, and very nice. The price and quality were outstanding. The atmosphere was modern and cozy. Unfortunately, I can only give it 5 stars, but I would gladly give it 6... Bravo!

We came to Eisenach from faraway Mainz, expecting your average Greek fare. But anyone who truly wants to experience authentic Greek cuisine should eat here. My husband is Greek, and I've also been living in Greece for 10 years. Starters you'd normally only get at your mom's and prices that are impressive. Four people with a starter, main course, and plenty of drinks for €140. The servers were friendly and prompt, and you felt like you were in Greece. The decor was finally stylish and far from the romanticism of the Acropolis. If Eisenach, then Delphi.

We ate here today, September 20, 2025. We also found the price a bit high. We also found the souvlaki a bit dry, and I actually thought my village plate was a bit too small, but I was still full after eating. 🙋‍♂️ At the end, we had a small mixed schnapps. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the restrooms were very clean.

I had the village plate, which was nothing special and more like a child's portion in terms of size. I don't understand why you can save on rice and gyros for almost €20. At first, I thought I was getting an appetizer plate. It was my first and last visit here. Almost €5 for a 0.4L bottle of mineral water, and the whole thing was great, of course. There are better and much cheaper restaurants nearby.

Had a spider in my food yesterday. The waiter tried to make it sound funny, but there wasn't even an apology. Unfortunately, it's unacceptable, and we won't be going back.

We were there around 5:30 p.m., which was good since we didn't have a reservation. It started to get busier from 6:00 p.m. onward. Our lamb shank and leg of lamb were really good. The souvlaki was a bit dry, and the rice and fries were lacking a bit of salt. The service was very friendly and helpful, coming to our table frequently to ask if we needed anything else. There was an ouzo for everyone to start the meal and an ouzo mix afterward. These weren't included in the bill. The value for money was great. If we come back to Eisenach, we already know where we'll eat again.

I'd give this a thousand stars if I can. Ordered a lamb piece with cheesy risotto and it was heaven. Going tomorrow to order the same thing, a must try for sure if you're visiting Eisenach! The food is tasty, the staff is nice and the house even gave two drinks (ouzo and another) for free. Totally worth the price, HEAVILY recommended!!

Unfortunately, all the cucumber slices—in two appetizers and in the side salads—were dried out, for which I deduct one point. The main courses were very tasty. Ouzo was served before and after each meal. All in all, though, a good restaurant that I would recommend.

Nice Greek restaurant. The menu selection isn't huge (the food, they serve a lot of alcohol), but what's available is tasty, and you get a filling portion. Note: The chocolate soufflé, contrary to the menu's description, comes with almonds, so be careful.

I've been here a few times, the people are very nice and there's a lot to choose from.

There were 4 of us out for dinner today and unfortunately none of us were satisfied. Very dry and tough pork, disgusting calamari, burnt gyros (charcoal) and soggy disgusting rice. What was good was the starter. Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated significantly over the years. Unfortunately it was our last visit there. Really a shame.

We were at the Delphi yesterday with a large group (55 people) and were very excited. We had previously communicated the dishes we wanted and everything was perfect in terms of service. All dishes were brought out at the same time, drinks were always refilled, despite the daily business that was running parallel to us in the restaurant. Many thanks to the entire team!

If you love meat served with meat on meat and want a meat side dish to go with it, then you're in paradise! There is salad, but there is usually meat in it too. Vegetarians and vegans, on the other hand, might feel as if they had accidentally ended up at a barbecue party - the choice for them is more manageable than a side salad. Vegan? Works in a pinch - but then there are only the classics: pure fries, no frills. At least they are crispy! The service, on the other hand, deserves high praise: the employees really do everything they can to make every guest happy. Special requests? No problem! If necessary, creative improvisation is also possible. Conclusion: Meat fans cheer, plant lovers cry - but everyone receives friendly service!

We pre-booked a table some time ago, but our reservation was not found. The tables were very close together, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a canteen. I was sitting at a door through which there was a strong draft and the cold was unpleasantly noticeable. The dishes were served without much creativity and had little taste. In addition, the food was only lukewarm instead of hot.

A successful evening from start to finish. We made a reservation and were greeted and advised in a very friendly manner. An ouzo as an opener on the house was a great way to start. The grilled squid starter was perfectly on point. There are very few restaurants that can prepare it like this. Respect. The gyros afterwards was very tasty and was rounded off with great rice and szaziki. We always had drinks at the table and nothing was missing. We'll definitely be back.

Besuch allein mit Hund wurde missmutig aufgenommen; auf der Terrasse einen Tisch unter der Markise, da Regen in Aussicht stand, genommen. War leider ein größerer, damit der Hund möglichst nicht im Weg war. Hund bekam sofort Wasser, das war das freundlichste am Abend. Karte und Bestellung dauerte länger als an den Nachbartischen, die tw. Gleichzeitig oder wenig später besetzt wurden. Essen war in Ordnung , aber Salat lieblos angerichtet. Zum Schluss noch die Merkwürdigkeit, dass der ringsum gereichte Ouzo bei mir ein Likör war.

We were on our vacation, Friday lunchtime shortly after 12:00, after the Dragon Gorge in front of the Delphi and were allowed to leave again, staff there, no company there, no note in the door, we were just told they only open in the evening. We then took our money to the competition and were very satisfied 👅

The portions are just right (main course plus salad is completely filling even after a long day at work) and the dishes are really tasty. I really hope that this wonderful restaurant survives German politics and that the “over 20 years” become even more decades!

Everything is great here: The service is very friendly, the dishes taste good, very flexible if you haven't reserved a table in advance (you should do this) The price-performance ratio is just right.

The Delphi is characterized by a small, manageable menu, the dishes are fresh and taste great. The service is unobtrusively nice, but could be a bit more attentive. All in all, a good Greek restaurant that you can recommend without a guilty conscience. We'd love to come back.

The food was great, but I'm actually used to larger portions. However, we waited almost an hour for it on a Wednesday lunchtime.

I ordered a starter plate that wasn't on the menu...I didn't expect it to have bruscetta with chewy bread on it. My wife's metaxasauce gyros...tasted like a simple tomato cream sauce (LIKE TORTELLINI) with gristly meat...I tried it and immediately noticed that glutamate was processed somewhere. For a drink I ordered an ouzo from the menu for 2.60, which I wanted to have with Kranenburger diluted with ice. On the bill 6 euros...he said he had put two ouzo in 🤣🤷‍♂️I didn't want to pay for it...he went away and when he came back said that he would have to pay for it himself... No further comment...there are Greeks with passion and also some without...delphi eisenach does not belong to the first category...sorry that could be done much better...
