Restaurant Delphi in Eisenach

I've been here a few times, the people are very nice and there's a lot to choose from.

There were 4 of us out for dinner today and unfortunately none of us were satisfied. Very dry and tough pork, disgusting calamari, burnt gyros (charcoal) and soggy disgusting rice. What was good was the starter. Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated significantly over the years. Unfortunately it was our last visit there. Really a shame.

Friendly service and really delicious food. The children's meals were brought directly with the starters and the waiter was also very attentive.

We were at the Delphi yesterday with a large group (55 people) and were very excited. We had previously communicated the dishes we wanted and everything was perfect in terms of service. All dishes were brought out at the same time, drinks were always refilled, despite the daily business that was running parallel to us in the restaurant. Many thanks to the entire team!

The food is very tasty. Only the tzatziki didn't meet my expectations at all - just plain quark... Unfortunately, the waiter was very stressed and brought all the food, without exception, to the neighboring table...

Even 40 minutes before closing we were warmly welcomed and served. Staff quick and attentive. Food was delicious, a good experience 👍

Everything OK, gladly again Reservation was easy, two small dogs were allowed (there are several rooms, so there is definitely a dog-free zone 😉)

If you love meat served with meat on meat and want a meat side dish to go with it, then you're in paradise! There is salad, but there is usually meat in it too. Vegetarians and vegans, on the other hand, might feel as if they had accidentally ended up at a barbecue party - the choice for them is more manageable than a side salad. Vegan? Works in a pinch - but then there are only the classics: pure fries, no frills. At least they are crispy! The service, on the other hand, deserves high praise: the employees really do everything they can to make every guest happy. Special requests? No problem! If necessary, creative improvisation is also possible. Conclusion: Meat fans cheer, plant lovers cry - but everyone receives friendly service!

Very good and filling portions at reasonable prices. A menu that is not too large is an advantage when choosing dishes. Starters and main course (village plate) were very tasty. I'd love to come back.

Very good, plentiful food in a pleasant environment. The staff was friendly & very attentive. Unfortunately we are only in Eisenach for a long weekend, otherwise we would definitely come back.

Excellent food, very nice environment

We pre-booked a table some time ago, but our reservation was not found. The tables were very close together, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a canteen. I was sitting at a door through which there was a strong draft and the cold was unpleasantly noticeable. The dishes were served without much creativity and had little taste. In addition, the food was only lukewarm instead of hot.

A successful evening from start to finish. We made a reservation and were greeted and advised in a very friendly manner. An ouzo as an opener on the house was a great way to start. The grilled squid starter was perfectly on point. There are very few restaurants that can prepare it like this. Respect. The gyros afterwards was very tasty and was rounded off with great rice and szaziki. We always had drinks at the table and nothing was missing. We'll definitely be back.

Friendly Greek restaurant with delicious main courses, but also cold and warm Greek starters (mezes). Friendly and quick service. We were lucky to get a table early in the evening without a reservation. Therefore reservation is recommended.

Besuch allein mit Hund wurde missmutig aufgenommen; auf der Terrasse einen Tisch unter der Markise, da Regen in Aussicht stand, genommen. War leider ein größerer, damit der Hund möglichst nicht im Weg war. Hund bekam sofort Wasser, das war das freundlichste am Abend. Karte und Bestellung dauerte länger als an den Nachbartischen, die tw. Gleichzeitig oder wenig später besetzt wurden. Essen war in Ordnung , aber Salat lieblos angerichtet. Zum Schluss noch die Merkwürdigkeit, dass der ringsum gereichte Ouzo bei mir ein Likör war.

Feiertag (Internationaler Kindertag, Volles Restaurant und wir auch noch ohne Reservierung. Trotz allem wurde eine vorzügliche Bewirtung ermöglicht. Hervor zu heben ist die freundliche Atmosphäre, hervorragender Service und eine gute Küche. Gerne wieder und für unseren nächsten Besuch in Thüringen vorgemerkt!

Visiting Eisenach over the weekend. Rated based on a visit!!! Food was very tasty, portions could have been a little larger. Correspondingly average price-performance ratio. Service was good and attentive. I can't say anything about the ambience. We sat outside. It was quite crowded and loud.

Delicious food and nice service. It is really recommended. We sat in a corner that was very comfortable, but the staff talked very loudly or insulted each other, which all visitors noticed.

We were on our vacation, Friday lunchtime shortly after 12:00, after the Dragon Gorge in front of the Delphi and were allowed to leave again, staff there, no company there, no note in the door, we were just told they only open in the evening. We then took our money to the competition and were very satisfied 👅

Extremely friendly and courteous service and the food is on the same level, delicious! The portions are just right (main course plus salad is completely filling even after a long day at work) and the dishes are really tasty. I really hope that this wonderful restaurant survives German politics and that the “over 20 years” become even more decades!

Everything is great here: The service is very friendly, the dishes taste good, very flexible if you haven't reserved a table in advance (you should do this) The price-performance ratio is just right.

The Delphi is characterized by a small, manageable menu, the dishes are fresh and taste great. The service is unobtrusively nice, but could be a bit more attentive. All in all, a good Greek restaurant that you can recommend without a guilty conscience. We'd love to come back.

The food was great, but I'm actually used to larger portions. However, we waited almost an hour for it on a Wednesday lunchtime.

I ordered a starter plate that wasn't on the menu...I didn't expect it to have bruscetta with chewy bread on it. My wife's metaxasauce gyros...tasted like a simple tomato cream sauce (LIKE TORTELLINI) with gristly meat...I tried it and immediately noticed that glutamate was processed somewhere. For a drink I ordered an ouzo from the menu for 2.60, which I wanted to have with Kranenburger diluted with ice. On the bill 6 euros...he said he had put two ouzo in 🤣🤷‍♂️I didn't want to pay for it...he went away and when he came back said that he would have to pay for it himself... No further comment...there are Greeks with passion and also some without...delphi eisenach does not belong to the first category...sorry that could be done much better...

Very nice Greek restaurant, clean and well decorated. The service was attentive and helpful. The main courses were super tasty and plentiful. All in all, recommended if you want to enjoy Greek food in Eisenach. Another note, the parking situation is very limited, you have to walk a few meters, but it's worth it!

Really great place. Spontaneously seated over 20 people on the terrace without a reservation. Super friendly service, delicious food, great wine selection. Everything clean and tidy. Everything is very good. I've been there several times and can only recommend the friendliness and food.

We made reservations online and arrived 15 minutes late (but gave 30 minutes notice on the phone) because our hike took a little longer. We were still received very friendly. The rooms are cozy and nice, the food was very tasty. My daughters, who are sometimes a bit complicated with food, also enjoyed their food. We would love to come back next time we are in Eisenach.

Just been here for the first time and so happy! By far the best Greek restaurant I have ever eaten at and I really enjoy eating Greek. Great atmosphere, cozy and clean. Fast and absolutely nice employees. Food was fresh and tasted amazing. Portions were very good! We drive almost 50 km, but we will definitely come here more often now.

The food came very quickly. The service was very friendly. The quality of the food wasn't that good. Unfortunately the rice was completely overcooked and mushy. The meat was very dry.

Had dinner there on March 28, 2024. I have to say, the best Greek place I've eaten at so far. Super fast and friendly waiters, 5 of them! We were there around 6 p.m., 30 minutes later the restaurant was very busy for a Thursday evening. The food was simply great, super tasty, extremely hot and the waiting time was completely okay. There was leg of lamb with broad white beans. Never eaten such delicious lamb. Meat super juicy and hot. Really a top restaurant. Small but very nice card. If I'm back in Eisenach, I'll eat there again. Kudos to the host(s), keep the quality up!

The grilled sea bream fillets were excellent, the side dishes (rice, grilled vegetables) were average. The service was friendly and quick, no long waiting times, even though the restaurant was busy. There was a bit of confusion when it came to paying (we wanted to pay individually).

The Delphi Restaurant treated us to a lovely evening. We were pleasantly surprised by the polite service and the prompt service. The portions were generous and we were able to empty our plates completely. Many thanks to the entire team for this successful experience!

The restaurant is divided into two areas, we sat in the back. Completely overcrowded and very narrow, the noise level was sometimes unbearable, which was particularly annoying when eating. The food was okay, but nothing special. The salad plate consisted of iceberg lettuce, one Slice of cucumber and radish and a very sour dressing with a bit of a strange aftertaste. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and didn't seem overwhelmed despite the overcrowding. All in all...there are far better restaurants in Eisenach.

The portion wasn't necessarily the largest - but the taste of the food was A1. Service was friendly and the prices are okay.
