There was no sense of comfort. With our meal, we swapped rice for fries. Since they didn't have a large Coke, we had two small ones. Of course, with a hefty markup. There's a calculation behind it: more profit. There's also a markup for the fries. Well, if that isn't a rip-off, we're really disappointed. It was pretty hectic; people kept coming to check if our plates were empty. After we'd finished half of the salad, the food arrived. It was supposed to be a relaxing evening, but unfortunately, it wasn't.

A very popular restaurant in Weida: you should definitely make a reservation or at least call ahead to get one of the coveted seats. The food is fantastic, and the service is excellent. However, it can get quite noisy when there are a lot of guests. The ambiance, service, and quality of the food more than make up for it.

I'm usually a regular at Knossos in Gera. I moderately liked the Sirtaki. Around 11:30 a.m., there were few guests in the restaurant, which was a good time of year, so there was plenty of seating. Around 12 p.m., at least the winter garden filled up, and the sunshine made it too warm for me. The lunch menu is adequate but not particularly varied. My dish was okay but nothing much more. The potato slices were fried, which was okay with the sauce. The gyros with Metaxa sauce was good. I missed some salad as an extra. The portion was sufficient for lunch. Nevertheless, a successful stay at Sirtaki, although it can't compete with Knossos. Thanks to Sirtaki

Family atmosphere. Very guest and child friendly. Delicious food. But portions have become smaller and more expensive - easily comparable for regular guests. Reservations recommended in the evenings and on weekends.

Straight 6 stars if possible. Super friendly, very pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. You can eat inside or outside, and it is also heated outside. This creates a great atmosphere. However, you should reserve in advance as the restaurant is busy. Which isn't surprising...where else do people greet and say goodbye with a handshake?

Saturday evening. Very crowded and therefore quite loud. We were among the first and were pushed too quickly to place our orders. After that everything worked fine. Some portions were quite small for the price.

A very nice Greek restaurant with an outside seating area that looks like a winter garden. It also looks fantastic inside and is really very comfortable. The welcome during our visit was also very friendly, which is not always the case these days. The food was really very good and sufficient, and the price was also completely ok. The same applies to the drinks. All in all, really nice and would love to come back again

The food tasted great and the waitress was friendly and attentive as always. But unfortunately very little meat for the price. I understand the increase in costs in the catering industry, but then simply increase the prices accordingly and offer the same service. I personally think that's fairer.

Even though we were more than 12 people, the staff was really well placed. The drinks arrived promptly and after a short waiting time all the food was at the table. Seriously it can't be compared with other restaurants in town, where we've been almost entirely disappointed so far. We will definitely come back. Thanks to the entire team. Great restaurant. We saw it in the winter garden in front, which really offers a nice ambience, unfortunately I saw it in a place where it was draughty the whole time. Hence one star less. The quality of the food was very good and the portions were not excessive. You can also have an appetizer there. You can't say anything against the service. Attentive and very quick service.

Nice restaurant, good staff, good food, nice atmosphere, especially in the vaulted cellar. When you look at the menu, your eyes water with what you get out of the thinner wallets of guests in the new federal states. We have been comparing ourselves to other regions for years (decades). I can often get away cheaper in Franconia. The portions are usually larger there too. There is one consolation and not just one: the ingredients and the cooking skills were very good! The starter platter cost 21 euros, but it wasn't unimaginatively designed and fortunately the obligatory broad beans were omitted. It was very good and sufficient. Overall, the dishes were beautifully presented.

We didn't eat here, but after we came out of the registry office there was a large tablet with Uzo for everything. For free. Just like that. Crazy...that's what I call hospitable.

Very popular shop in Weida with typical Greek cuisine. Our condition was great, our child was allowed to try the Bolognese sauce before ordering it. My family loved the warm chocolate cake with ice cream.

The food tasted very good and the waiting time was awesome! We didn't even wait 15 minutes for our food. I have never been served delicious food so quickly! Hats off! There is only one point of criticism for which the restaurant itself is not to blame. I went out to eat with my girlfriend on a Friday evening and the place was almost full. I actually wanted to sit with my girlfriend in a quiet corner where we could eat comfortably. Unfortunately we sat right next to a table where there were 12 people. You can also imagine the volume accordingly. But otherwise everything is more than satisfactory!

Bei bis zum letzten Platz besetztem Restaurant genossen meine Familie und ich einen für Deutschland herausragenden Service und ausgezeichnete Speisen. Zwei Minuten nach dem Hinsetzen kam der Ouzo auf Kosten des Hauses. Entgegen der sonst üblichen Wartezeiten in deutschen Restaurants, erst recht bei voll besetztem Haus, konnte man bei Erhalt des Ouzo sofort die Getränke und das Essen bestellen; ca 8 min nach Betreten des Restaurants waren die Getränke am Tisch und und nur 15 min später die typischen griechischen Grillteller. Das Personal war nicht nur schnell, sondern dabei auch ausgesprochen höflich und zuvorkommend; das Essen war hervorragend, die Portionen angemessen und der Preis eher günstig. Dieses Restaurant ist seit vielen Jahren sehr beliebt und wir haben es auch schon oft besucht, aber im Gegensatz zu den meisten restaurants wird hier nicht ständig alles ungerechtfertigt teurer, sondern alles wird immer besser !!!!

Update: After another visit I increase it to 4 stars. This time the food was all good and the atmosphere was also very nice. The original review: I was here again last week (after many years); I don't have to go there again. We sat in the former smoking room, which unfortunately you can still smell today and it doesn't exactly whet your appetite. The tone of the staff when giving orders is like that of the barracks yard. Not necessarily rude, but loud and very direct. You just notice that everything should go quickly. This creates unrest, which is counterproductive to a pleasant evening. The liver here is only from pork, the only thing I know from other Greeks is that there is beef liver. The processed minced meat also tasted like pure minced pork. Which isn't bad, but just not that valuable. I also found everything quite dry (minced meat, fillet skewers and gyros). Therefore: There is no risk of repetition for me. Personally, I simply imagine comfortable visits to restaurants differently. And especially good food.

The best Greek with the world's best Metaxa sauce, the best gyros and tzatziki I've ever eaten at. In summer you can sit outside great and in winter the cellar vault is a great ambience. EXTRA TIP: Be sure to reserve in advance as it is almost always fully booked.
